A/N: I only own the OC

Thank you for reviewing.

I got on the plane and was trying to figure out why the hell I had just agreed to go with Tony to this event... then I was trying to figure out if I had a dress to wear. I had packed something to wear out with Michael to celebrate so hopefully that would work.

I was waiting to take off when someone plopped down beside me. I raised an eyebrow as I looked over and then shook my head... it was Chris Jericho.

"Hiya." He said and I smirked.

"How ya been Chris?" I asked him.

"Good, I was surprised when I heard that he go you and Punk to cross over to the dark side." He said and I chuckled.

I was glad Chris sat beside me. It was good to catch up. I had know him my whole career with WWE before he left. He was one of the ones who was always nice to me, but also had some of the weirdest request... and somehow they worked for him.

We landed and we're taken to the hotel. Tony told me to be in the lobby by 7pm. I went to my room, showered, and put on one of the two dresses I had brought. I went with my LBD and some pumps. My dress was a V-neck asymmetrical dress. It was plain black and I paired it with a simple silver knot necklace. I pulled my hair back, did light make up, and texted Phil what was going on. I really had to hope that someone was going with us as I grabbed my clutch. I checked to make sure I had everything, and got onto the elevator. I walked out to find Tony, Max, and Kenny waiting for me. I realized I should have wanted it to just me and Tony.

"Ah, Rae, you look nice." Tony said and I smiled as I joined them.

"Ready to go?" he asked me and I nodded. Kenny offered me his arm before Max could and I took it. I knew that Kenny had his weird quirks, but maybe he was the better of the two tonight. I kind of wish Chris, Phil, or even Michael was going were walking to a waiting car as Michael walked into the hotel. We exchanged looks and I saw him look me up and down. I had to smile at that before getting into the waiting SUV. I was between Tony and Kenny as Max sat in the front with the driver.

"A few other talents are already there." Tony said to us and we all nodded. I was glad there were a few other people... maybe some woman was there.

The drive was short as we went to a restaurant. We were meeting with silent partners and other people who mattered to AEW. I was kind of wandering why he brought me instead of a diva at this point. We walked in as Tony offered me his arm. I figured he wanted someone on his arm, but I wasn't sure why it was me. We walked in and I saw Chris Jericho, Toni Storm, Saraya, Orange Cassidy, and both guys from FTR already talking to people. I was glad to see them because I knew most of them.

"I would like you to stay with me." Tony said as we walked in and I nodded. I realized right then that he was nervous or something. I walked around with him, and finally broke away to grab something from the open bar. Tony asked me to get him something, and I nodded.

"I did not expect to see you here." Daniel said as he walked up and I chuckled as David was right behind him.

"Tony asked me last minute... not sure why, but here I am. I am sure my brother is more qualified." I said and they both chuckled.

"Yes, but you dress up nicer and don't drop f bombs every other word." Daniel said and I smirked.

"We haven't hung out enough." I said as the bartender handed me the drinks. I smirked as I walked back to Tony. He took his flute and clinked it with mine. We stayed a few more hours, and I was glad when it was time to leave. I was tired as I walked back with Tony. He walked back to the waiting SUV... most of the other talent had ridden back with each other or with other people.

"Thank you for going with me. I don't like doing these things without someone with me. I know that I should be able to do it, but it's not something I am still comfortable with most days. I guess my dad is, but not me. " he admitted and I nodded.

"I understand. I'm not a fan of doing new things by myself." I said and he smiled at me.

"Which wrestler has already asked you out?" he asked me and I chuckled. He asked some weird questions sometimes, but I just went with it.

"Really just Wardlow and Max. I know most of the people from WWE and that's not something that's going to happen. " I said and he nodded as he chuckled.

"I thought there would have been more." he said and I laughed.

"I have a great resting bitch face that most people avoid." I said and he chuckled.

We talked until we got to the hotel. He helped me out and we walked inside. He pushed the elevator button for us, and let me on first.

"If you ever want to have dinner... ya know, let me know." he said and I was shocked at that, but smiled.

"Maybe one night." I said and he gave a nod before the doors opened to my floor.

"Good night, Tony, thanks for a fun night." I said and he smiled at me. as I started to walk to my room. I had to admit that wasn't how I figured my night would go.

"Are you planning on wearing that to the event? " a voice said and I turned to see Max walking to his room, and I smirked. I stopped as he walked closer.

"Not a chance in hell" I said and he chuckled as he walked up to me.

"I am not at all ready to go to bed, and I'm starving... wanna walk with me to find food?" he asked me and I nodded. I hadn't eaten yet, and I was starving. He had gotten back before me, and I was kind of jealous. My feet were killing me in these shoes.

"Great, Lobby in 10 minutes. I need to change." I said and he gave a small smile. I went to my room, and changed. I wasn't sure why I had agreed to go with Max, but maybe it was because he had saved me a few times tonight when people thought I was a diva; Maybe Max wasn't so bad.

I was waiting on the elevator when it opened. I was kind of surprised to see Wardlow kissing some blonde. I cleared my throat and she giggled as he looked almost embarrassed when he saw that it was me.

"Excuse me." I said as I walked around them. I glanced at him and he looked like he wanted to say something, but I hit the button as the doors closed without a word. I guess Max really wasn't the worst... and I didn't have plans tomorrow night now. All wrestlers really were the same.
