Author Message: Besides still working on the plot of the Rwby story, here's another chapter with the free time I had.

Nonstop flashes were taking place as Uta stood in front of her submarine smiling as many reporters who were walking around to report the biggest musical contest had gathered all around, shoving past annoyed pirates yet they did nothing as Uta's bodyguard scared them.

"Uta!" Shouted someone and shoving past the pirates and reporters was one portly man with a long, hooked nose that would give Usopp a run for his money. His missing left hand was replaced with a microphone, unlike his right leg below the knee, which was replaced with a peg leg respectively. As he approached, he froze when the bodyguard turned his attention to him yet Uta waved at the man and smiled, which he simply went back to scanning the crowd that had formed.

"Yes?"

"I'm Donald Moderate, I was placed as Head commentator by Gild Tesoro, the one who owns this ship and started this contest and I'm here to interview you if you wouldn't mind, we are also currently live!" The last part surprised the singer before she smiled brightly.

"We are?!" She turns to the camera Den Den being carried by a larger man standing behind the commentator.

"Hey guys, nice to meet you!" Uta said with the brightest smile she had. "Finally! No matter what happens, I donate anything I make to those in need!" This got amazed looks from lots, the commentators, reporters, civilians, and pirates at her generosity while her 'bodyguard' just looked away in annoyance.

"I never imagined my debut to be in such a big contest." As soon as she said that, tears started to form in her eyes before quickly wiping them away. "Sorry, this is a lot to take in at once."

As she spoke, many reacted to the genuine emotions she was displaying while getting even more reactions from around the world who were watching this live.

"So Uta, where have you been all this time, if you don't mind me asking?" Donald asked as soon as Uta had gotta control of herself. "You never disclosed your location which many fans have speculated."

This got her to smile once again before replying.

"Elegia," This got a look of surprise from the commentator and many reporters, even some pirates reacted in surprise. "I was raised there for most of my life, even after the incident…"

There was silence for a few seconds as the commentator started to regret asking her, seeing the troubled look on her face while her 'bodyguard' was staring at her, seeing the obvious pain.

"After what happened, only me and the King of Elegia had survived that day and after that, he took on the responsibility of raising me himself during the last 12 years. He wished for me to be the greatest singer the world has ever known, eheh. I want to do my best to make that dream of his come true." She once again shows a bright smile, tears forming again in her eyes yet even so the reporters didn't copy her expression as many knew what had happened that day.

"Did he come as well, I would love to also interview him if I could." It was after he said that, did Uta's eyes widened yet immediately hid her emotions and just smiled again.

"He's been bedridden so he couldn't come but I'll be dedicating my performance to him, all my fans, and Naruto." The last part got looks of surprise from this watching, one pirate looking at another.

"The food topping?"

"I think?"

"Excuse me, Uta." Began Donald. "Who is this Naruto?"

And just like that, her cheeks turned red as her smile increased, a dreamy look appearing in her eyes.

"He's my boyfriend!" And just like that, they were all agape. "We've been dating before I started my career." They weren't the only ones shocked, many others watching this broadcast were too but fans from the start weren't really, many recalling the one known as 'Naruto' holding the Den Den for Uta as she performed at the start.

"We're childhood friends, you could say he saved me when I was at my lowest point!" She turns back to the submarine. "If not for him, I don't think I would have gotten this far—" It was at this moment she and the rest heard commotion, their attention turning towards flashes happening and shouts being heard.

"Is that her?!"

"Why is she here?!"

"Huh?" Uta tilted her head till she saw it, past the pirates, reporters, and civilians, were three individuals. Two of them were very noticeable for their height and hair color which was orange and green yet the one in the center that ignored everyone was a beautiful woman walking with purpose as she was scanning the crowds while a snake was coiled around her.

"They better not have lied." Muttered the one in front. "The letter specifically mentioned 'Luffy' was coming to this festival and I did my best to hurry here."

It was at this point that Uta's eyes widened when she heard the familiar name and tried to get a look at the one speaking.

"She's beautiful!" Uta muttered at the sheer beauty she had, smiling as she headed towards her while the 'bodyguard' proceeded to help make way, shoving those around her back much to his own annoyance. The commentator was about to follow to get the full scoop of this on television yet instead another worker whispered into his ear and proceeded to leave to get more interviews such as with the Soul King.

"Excuse me!" This caused her to stop in her tracks, turning along with the two women at her side. "Did you say Luffy, as in Monkey D. Luffy?" When she asked that, almost immediately the women scowled at Uta, taking her by surprise as a bead of sweat fell from her face while

"You know Luffy?" Almost immediately she steps forward, towering above Uta while her 'bodyguard' narrows his eyes which the two women could feel unnerved by him, unlike their leader who was more preoccupied and taps Uta on the chest. "What's your relationship with Luffy?! Are you a part of his crew, also seeking his love like those two other women if so I won't lose to any of you!" It was after she said that, almost everyone stared at her with the same confused expression.

"Wait, are you—" Uta stops as her confused expression immediately turns to joy as she starts to laugh, the sight surly song before annoying the woman until she heard what was said.

"You think me and Luffy are-ahahahahah." She proceeds to laugh, the sight surprising the woman who was a Warlord along with her guards/sisters. "Oh god no, not in a million years! We're just childhood friends! Besides, I'm dating someone right now." When she said that, flashes happened with the reporters taking pictures with pirates watching on in confusion at the sight yet they started to disperse immediately upon the 'bodyguard' glaring at them all, done with their annoyance at causing a fuss while the women appeared more on edge.

"Wait, you're a childhood friend of Luffy's?!" Asked the shocked woman and Uta smiled.

"Yup, we met about twelve years ago—" Uta was cut off as her hands were taken in by the women.

"It's nice to meet a childhood friend of Luffy's, I'm Boa Hancock by the way." As she introduced herself, her personality became a 180 which took Uta by surprise. "As someone who's known Luffy all those years ago, you must know a lot about him. Would you mind telling me stories about him and if it's not too much, could you give me advice on r-relationships." At this point, Boa's sisters and the 'bodyguard' were now staring at this scene in disbelief.

"A-Advice?"

"Yes, since you are in a relationship then you must have advice on such a thing, also I never got your name?" She started to appear very forward to the now sweating girl.

"It's Uta…"

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Uta!"

"Yohohohohoh!" Laughed the Skeleton of the Straw Hats, they were standing and sitting nearby, a few eating as they watched Brooks in an interview.

"Gosh, I didn't expect to be interviewed so soon!" He told the man who smiles brightly.

"I on the other hand thought you would have been interviewed immediately upon arrival, among the contestants your one of the favored to win, after your last song 'New World' which became a worldwide hit, millions have been eagerly awaiting your next song!"

"Yohohohoh, I didn't know it became such a hit after that last concert of mine. I was busy running from the Marines to know how it was received."

"It indeed was!" He turns his attention to the Straw Hats Captain, Luffy who is snacking on a large portion of meat. "I can see your Captain is enjoying the food, mind if I interview him since we are live and he's a pirate not many have heard from since the Marineford War." When he says that, almost immediately he regrets it upon Luffy suddenly coming to a stop in the middle of his food with Zoro and Sanji turning their attention towards the commentator who starts to sweat as he takes a few steps back.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to bring up bad memories—" He was silenced as they heard a new voice.

"LUFFY!" That shout took them all by surprise as the commentator Donald found himself shoved away along with the cameraman just as Luffy found himself suddenly brought into a big hug which in turn surprised the Straw Hats while the snake licked Luffy's cheek, Nami looked the most surprised and Sanji staring in horrifying jealousy as Boa Hancock, one of the most beautiful women in the world was hugging Luffy happily who was, in turn, surprised yet smiles just as her sisters arrived on the scene, having ran to catch up.

"Hancock!"

"YOU KNOW HER?!" Demanded Sanji, glaring at his captain while Robin thought back as she recalled seeing her ship from afar once. The memory caused her to smile before that turned into confusion the moment she looked towards her and Nami, glaring at the two women.

"So, what is your relationship with Luffy?" She all but asked more so demanded yet Luffy didn't appear bothered as he started eating again while still being hugged.

"Relationship? I think you have—" She was cut off by Usopp suddenly gasping as they turned to see the Straw Hat member appearing shocked and pointing which they followed the direction to find two individuals approaching them.

"Luffy?" When he heard his name being called, the Straw Hat Captain stopped eating and turned his attention to the one who spoke his name before his eyes widened in shock just like Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper. "It really is you…" As she spoke those words, they watched Luffy standing up just as Hancock let go of Luffy to watch him approach his childhood friend who immediately ran towards him laughing tearfully as she hugged him. The sight took all of the Straw Hats by surprise with Sanj, Chopper, and Usopp being the most shocked at such a sight. The sight shocked many nearby at the scene taking place while Donald the commentator was busy with the fact their camera Den Den was on the fritz from the warlord knocking into them.

"No fair!" Sanji began, pointing at the two of them as they separated. "At least introduce us!"

"Since when are you so chummy with Princess Uta?!"

"Yeah, tell us!"

Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper all but demanded from their Captain who smiles towards them.

"Since forever, Uta is Shanks daughter." The moment he said that everyone in earshot all but stopped everything, talking, eating, some even breathing as they turned towards them in utter shock with a few pirates having greedy looks on their faces until they met the eyes of her bodyguard who gave off an intimidating aura.

"Never change." Mutters Uta, turning to see shocked reporters already leaving to spread the news tho would take longer due to the fact the Camera Den Den isn't working so interview live coverage is on the fritz at the moment. "By tomorrow, everyone will know." She frowns with Luffy turning towards her to see her bothered expression while Hancock is busy standing in front of Nami and Robin who are explaining to her they have no romantic involvement with Luffy.

"Hey, Uta—" Luffy began, having her attention yet her eyes widen, yet not only hers, Zoro, Robin, Brook, and Franky also seemed shocked to see Luffy looking very pale like he just saw a ghost, not knowing a chill had gone up Luffy spine as he was forced to relive that vision once again before he felt it and turned fast, on high alert yet was given the sight of the opposite.

"Yo!" The one they saw was a spiky blonde-haired man dressed in casual wear, black jeans, a jacket with orange swirls on the shoulders, and an orange t-shirt as well. The odd thing was he wore shackles on his arms and legs that hung on the ankles. "What I miss?" As he asked that, Uta all but brightened as she ran to the man and hugged him which he wrapped his arms around her while Uta placed her hands on his chest gaining more shock from many around them.

"Naruto, are you feeling better?"

"I am so Believe It!"

With that said, the man turns his attention to Luffy, his single eye meeting Luffy's yet the moment they did the two felt something, the chill turning towards nostalgia.

"Have…we met?"

"Dunno, maybe?"

It was this sight that a few of the Straw Hats were confused with Luffy's behavior yet Zoro was the only one to be keeping a close eye on Naruto for how Luffy appeared on edge with his arrival.

"Let me introduce you and your friends, this is Naruto and he's my Boyfriend." The moment Uta said that, once again she gained shocked expressions from the Straw Hats.

"Whaaaat?!" Sanji, Chopper, and Usopp all but shouted in unison while Robin, Nami, Brook, and Franky smiled at the sight of the man smiling happily as he held Uta closely.

"We've been dating for a few years, she's told me a lot about you Luffy so it's nice to meet you…" As he said that, he stared at the Straw Hat, one of if not the main sources of the nostalgia he was getting from Luffy.

At this point, Uta turns her attention towards Brook and smiles.

"It's nice to finally meet you, I've heard a lot of your songs Soul King Brook." When he heard that, the Skeleton all laughed.

"Yohohohoho." He began. "It's great to hear such a thing, maybe after the contest I wouldn't mind singing a duet with you, maybe Binks Sake! Yohohoho!" This got Uta's smile to waver as a sad smile took its place. "Yeah…maybe."

It was at this moment, that Nami took notice of the fact throughout their conversation the blonde seemed to be looking at her more and more, staring at her questionably as if bothered by something until Sanji got between them, glaring daggers at Naruto who was snapped out of it and proceeded to separate from Uta, moving her to the side a little as Sanji got up close and personal to him.

"Yes?"

"HANDS OFF!" His words surprised the man who starts walking backwards as Sanji was poking him in the chest repeatedly. "I see that look, you already have a woman so don't even think you can try adding Nami to some sorta Harem!" As he accused the blonde who looked like he was staring at a Dumbass, Sanji found a fist in the back of his head.

"DON'T MAKE A SCENE YOU IDIOT!" Shouted the now embarrassed Nami.

"B-But Nami—"

"NO BUTS!" She all but shouted at Sanji who began to appear depressed at her taking Naruto's side before she turned to Naruto.

"Sorry about that."

"No, it's fine—"

"Despicable!" Suddenly spoke the Warlord, gaining their attention as Hancock was now pointing at Naruto. "You have a lovely lover in front of you yet you stare at another woman in front of her, the nerve you have!" She accused her as she did so, she was oddly staring at the sky from leaning back so much.

"Why is she looking at the sky?" Muttered Naruto to his 'lover' who leans towards him.

"I don't know, we just met." The two whispered amongst themselves while the bodyguard appeared very annoyed at why he agreed to be a bodyguard tho he kept an eye on Luffy for his Straw Hats reminded him of something while Hancock spoke.

"I'll warn you only once if you ever try to look at me with—"

"Sorry but, I'm taken and you're not exactly my type." The moment he said that there was only an awkward silence as Hancock's sisters stare at Naruto like he's lost his damn mind and it wasn't just him but almost everyone thought Naruto was crazy just as Sanji grabbed Naruto by his jacket and was shaking him.

"ARE YOU BLIND?!"

"DO I LOOK BLIND TO YOU?!"

The two started to glare at each other before he turned to Hancock who was now hugging Luffy.

"Luffy he's so mean, how could he say such horrible words to me?" As she asked that, she hid her face in Luffy's chest while he continued to eat his meat. The entire time, Naruto just watched in disbelief before he sighed but it was at this time Robin noticed something and that was the kunai at his waist, more so the fact words etched onto it, despite being small she could still make a few out in the ring.

"It's getting late so we should leave now Uta." When she heard that, Uta looked surprised yet nodded as a sad smile once again formed on her face.

"Yeah, we should." She turns her attention to Luffy. "See you later, Luffy." She told her childhood friend before turning away along with Naruto they started walking away followed by the bodyguard, leaving the pirates who watched them leave with Luffy just staring at Naruto's back as he couldn't shake this uneasiness that would not leave him, meanwhile Robin appeared to be deep in thought and looked very troubled.

"Robin, you ok?" Franky suddenly asked, gaining the Straw Hat's attention to see she had a hand on her chin as she appeared to be trying to recall something while Luffy just patted Hancock on the head while she still hid in his chest with her sisters comforting her with words that described her beauty and to ignore Naruto.

"That Blade…" Muttered Robin who appeared troubled by something. "It's in the language of the Poneglyph…" When they heard that, the group appeared quite shocked when they heard that with Hancock looking up from where she hid her face still looking quite upset yet the conversation drew her attention.

"I only caught a little of it but it translated to 'Honored One'?" As she said those words, the Straw Hats appeared confused as they didn't know what that meant yet Hancock appeared to be wide-eyed, the sight gaining Robin's notice.

"Does that phrase seem familiar to you?" When asked that question, the Warlord placed a hand on her chin.

"There was an old story passed down the Kuja Tribe Empress, a legend more so a myth." Hancock appeared to have a lost look in her eyes. "At the moment, the only thing I can recall from the story my mother told me before her passing…it involved two Gods, Nika, and Menma, the Honored Ones of Liberation and Subjugation." This got a look of surprise from them all while Hancock was trying to recall the whole story while Robin appeared to feel like she was forgetting something involving this story she couldn't quite recall.
