Fat Man's Auto Sales the front headquarters of the criminal organisation being run by the man known as the Kingpin; said man Wilson Fisk was at his desk in his office when opened the door was his wife as he greeted her after getting up from his desk. "Vanessa... How's Richard." Fisk asked as they took their hands into each other's.

"Asleep with his sitter watching him; you heard the news of another gang of escapees being apprehended by Spider-Man and the Cat. More competition taken care of without us needing to lift a finger; I am sure right now that the only group in this business that has access to it is your's and our man at Damage Control will alert us should they and the big league Avengers have left the city along again. The city's underworld is once again your's." Vanessa smiled at him as he sighed.

"Yet the Spider-Man and his Cat sidekick are still loose being a thorn. Super powers interfering in my business and I had to spend the last few months laying low because Gargan went out of control and acted like a maniac out in the open after an alien gave him a taste of power. Brought Damage Control full blast in my city and made my work all that much harder..." Fisk grunted and Vanessa pulled him closer.

"It was aliens and the Avengers that allowed you to build up your first power base; the city changed and you were smart enough to know how to take advantage and it wasn't long ago when you took advantage of the feared Ronin to steer him towards traitors." Vannessa reminded him as he shook his head.

"I feel nostalgiac about that time after the Incident had started... I was at the height of power with front companies, all the major crime groups either working for me or with me, police officers and feds and even a senator on my payroll and putting towards a clean public image... Now; my office is an old repair shop, an escaped fugitive, my wife has to publicly distance herself from me and I'm a stranger to my own son. Kingpin of a city more chaotic than ever..." Fisk sighed.

"Richard; the best gift that you have ever given me... From the moment he was born before 'the Blip'; I have let him know what kind of man his father is... His fairy tales are about a broken man who fixes himself and has to make debatably morally questionable decisions for the greater good... Fixing a chaotic world ungrateful of the choices that he makes for their own good... Fighting against an evil devil who poses as a hero..." Vanessa told him softly as Fisk shook his head.

"This devil was but a man and the Spider-Man... Lived to tell the tale off fighting against aliens and visitors from other worlds... I heard that you and Harrow got Martello to join us?" Fisk asked as Vanessa grinned.

"Eager to be the new Champion of a different ring; build him up with the others to find the ones that can take down Spider-Man on your behalf." Vanessa replied as Fisk looked out the window.

He then said "Taking down Spider-Man permanently might be what I need to remind the city to fear me again... Nothing to link back to me officially but word of mouth... I hope that wherever he is... Spider-Man is fearing crossing paths with me..."

The next morning Peter woke up in the bed of his apartment in his boxers with the black underwear clad Felica draped over him. He began to move but Felicia held on as he protested "come on Felicia; you have to move... We need to get ready for classes... Are you planning on bribing our teachers to excuse us?" Felicia pouted as she allowed him to get off. "So is this what it's like being a cat lover? Them refusing to get off you when you awaken; even if you have places to be?" Peter asked going to the drawers to get changed into his clothes as Felicia went to her bag to get a fresh pair of clothes to change into while making sure to strut her stuff for if Peter looked behind him.

"We could have spared a little more time and it wouldn't hurt your standing too much with the grades that you get..." Felicia replied smirking as Peter shook his head.

"When I can get them in and I don't any any future employers are going to be impressed when they see tardiness on my records. I am again grateful for the job you got me but I am hoping to earn myself something where I can use my brains..." Peter sighed as they were soon almost fully dressed.

"I understand but if it doesn't pan out then you could try modelling and be the one being photographed this time... I could speak in your favour about your abs..." Felicia laughed as Peter just sighed. They went out and found a limo waiting for them as it took them to ESU.

Felicia looke dout the window and saw on the screen it was the WHIH News reporting on the previous afternoon's incident of the gang trying to kidnap and ransom Hedy Wolfe when Spider-Man and the Black Cat went in for the safe. Felicia sighed as she spotted the footage of her being blindsided. "Still not used to having the bad luck of my foes on my side..." Felicia whispered to herself putting her hand to where her necklace used to be.

They arrived at ESU; "Jason my man!" Peter said with a finger gun to Jason Ionello who looked at him weirdly before going off. Peter then looked to someone studying journalism in his year. "Nick Katzenberg..." Peter then said as Nick just walked off again; Felicia took his hand as they went in with some students whispering wondering how did a weirdo like Peter land with someone like Felicia.

"Sorry trying to rebuild my social circle... Thought that since I started over after letting go of my old friends and life; I could try and build new bonds..." Peter explained to Felicia who was giving him a look.

"I appreciate you taking what I said into account and letting go of stalking your old best friend and your ex." Felicia replied and Peter sighed wondering why she had to say it like that. "Still I understand but trying to act like a doofus to rebuild lifelong bonds... Try and be more natural." Felicia then said as Peter nodded.

"You ever had to do that? Let go of something like that after realising it wasn't working?" Peter asked as Felicia shot him a look. "Sorry..." Peter said apologetically but she shook her head.

"It's alright and I had this ex-girlfriend... Was more of a fling really and we ended up realising it wouldn't work if it became more serious... We were both after the same thing when we met and it turned into a flirting contest to try and put the other off guard. One thing lead to another..." Felicia whispered and Peter understood what she was saying: her ex was also a thief.

Soon they ended up having to go their classes but Peter saw at the door of his first one was a big bald young man known as Kenny McFarlane talking to his friends. "10 thousand bucks or I am dead... The alternative to paying it off will make me actually dead..." Kenny groaned to his friends as they went in with Peter noticing that he dropped off a card with a time and the date; saying the 'Bar with No Name'. Kenny noticed that Peter had it and snatched it away without another word.

At the studio Peter was taking pictures of Hedy with a co-star for the Be All My Sins Remembered film. "Hopefully no goons comes to ruin today Parker; could do without being a extra in another person's story." Hedy told Parker as they were done but he was surprised.

"Spider-Man and Black Cat saved your life Ms Wolfe." Peter said and Hedy shook her head.

"I am grateful Mr Parker but when they do appear they tend to steal the spotlight." Hedy told Peter and then went closer to him. "You know Mr Parker; the life of the Sin Eater himself Stan Carter has a lot to it. Raised by a strict grandfather priest who taught him that all sinners must be purged from the world. The stress of his job and and his upbringing got to him and he became convinced he was on a holy quest to strike against sinners and no matter what said sins were. Plus in there is the reporter who made a name for himself when he got a source saying that he was the Sin Eater and milked it; ruining his career when his exposé on the guy's identity reveal happened on the same day when the real one got caught and arrested. His source was a copycat and serial confessor." Hedy told Peter who took it in.

"Quite a story Ms Wolfe." Peter said as Hedy shook her head.

"Yet it goes unnoticed since despite his mask; no indication that he wasn't on n actual holy quest. He didn't have a flying suit of armor, couldn't cast spells and he couldn't make half the population disappear by snapping his fingers. My ex-husband said that as a kid he loved wrestlers as the closest thing to real life superheroes; he never thought that Captain America in history class was anything but just war propaganda and there was no out on the fields with the footage being staged. Now there are superheroes and my point is that the supers tend to get big publicity over other things." Hedy said as Peter took this in and got his bags.

He went out and was embraced by Felicia; "Off work now and your time is mine now Mi Amour." Felicia teased him as she let go.

"One thing though Felicia... One of my classmates Kenny Kong... When I was entering my first class he was freaked out about owing money and a card he dropped showed a time for a place called the Bar with No Name..." Peter asked her and she was instantly alarmed.

"Well then start preparing for his funeral since he is as good as dead..." Felicia whispered back with it being Peter's turn to be alarmed this time. "That place... It's a neutral meeting ground for criminal groups... They make bets and there is an underground fighting ring there... It's all run by the Kingpin himself..." Felicia whispered to him and Peter looked like he was about to freak out.

"Well then... I must make sure that he doesn't do anything stupid..." Peter said as Felicia grabbed him arm.

"Let me stop YOU from doing anything stupid... There are a lot of just nasty customers including the worst kind of people there that you don't want to get on the bad side off... I never felt safe when I had to go there... Plus you really want to get on the radar of the Kingpin if you weren't already?" Felicia asked him and Peter looked serious.

"I am supposed to stand by while he could get into more trouble? He's not the nicest guy but I can't just not do anything..." Peter replied as she sighed.

"Let me get us disguises and fake IDs to use." Felicia then said as Peter stared. "One of Papa's lessons; always have fake IDs ready and be sure not to use one too many times. I even had some for you made just in case. You know undercover stuff..." Felicia explained and Peter just accepted this.

I was hoping that someone would comment on it last chapter but I intentionally had Edward Garner as a parody of Vince McMahon.
