In one universe, when Order 66 came through, it's Hunter's inhibitor chip which activates, leaving the Bad Batch floundering with their leader's sudden loss. Omega didn't expect to find her brothers again right when everything fell apart any more than Crosshair expected to ever be anything but the youngest. But somehow, they'll bring their family back together.

Everything fell after Kamino. After Tech goes racing, Hunter finally calls his little brother out on his recklessness – Crosshair hurt all of them, but Tech is going to hurt them even more if he doesn't start taking care of himself. Tech, it turns out, is worried about the same. About Hunter.

After severing ties with Cid, the Batch attempt to secure another means of employment. While on their first mission working for a new employer, however, they are forced to trust a stranger, and Hunter falls into the clutches of a bounty hunter. It soon becomes apparent that the rest of the Batch are being hunted down too. Takes place in season two, contains minor canon changes.
