Buttercup. Her name was everywhere, especially considering her celebrity status. She was a hero who saved the small-yet tourist overrun city of Townsville. Her and her sisters. But Buttercup's name was known elsewhere. She was an absolute party-girl. She constantly went to clubs, and when it was too late, her sister, Blossom had to drag her by her shirt back home. Everyone knew her name, and everyone wanted a piece of her; no matter the gender, she was always hit on by everyone. Boys, girls, and the like.

She never declined them verbally; she just gave them an uncomfortable glance— and if they didn't back off, that's when all the trashiest tabloids got their content and the reporters got the food for the next week.

"Dude, B-Cup at 5 o'clock." A clubgoer nudged another man. "It's not 5 o'clock."

"No, I meant that she's entering, dumbass. This is your chance, you look like a million bucks." The other man told him as he shoved him in the direction of the short-haired bombshell.

He slowly walked up to her as she got a drink from the bar. But before he could make his way to her another man stopped him in his tracks. "She's off limits." The man told him, as his eyes widened he recognized that voice– that was Brick. The man that hooks up with every woman he sets his sights on, the man known for not doing relationships, the man who's known for being unstable, and oh yeah; also SUPER-HUMAN.

He couldn't see Buttercup's face that well, as she was obscured by the taller redhead in front of him, but from what he could see; she seemed to be grimacing, whether that be at Brick or him was beyond the knowledge of the club-goer.

"Why would you know that?" Brick paused for a moment; he looked liked he was pondering something before stating outright. "Because she's my girlfriend, jackass." The club-goer backed away with a sweat and ran over back to his buddy, all confidence lost.

Buttercup switched her expression from scowl to something completely neutral as she sat on the stool of the bar, Brick's hand set on the counter. As his body was uncomfortably close to her. "Usual?" the bartender asked Brick.

"You know me." He gave a sly grin.

"Are you going to hover over my head?" Buttercup asked sourly.

"Oh, I'm sorry. A drink for the lady as well." Buttercup face palmed so hard she swears she totally tore some of her skin. She grabs Brick by the collar and brings him closer to her, face to face. She grumbles– whispers? No, neither of those are right. She quietly says to him "Why did you do that?"

"Do what?" He smirked and looked directly at her eyes, causing her to flush and break eye contact, god he could be really pretty sometimes; but first things first— he's annoying. "Say you were my boyfriend."

"Brick, Buttercup, drinks." The bartender said as she slid them down. Was it embarrassing for the bartender to know them by name? Probably for Brick. At least Buttercup was a celebrity. Brick grabbed his glass and took a sip. "I'm not letting you get hit on by a bunch of douches. One douche is all you need and that's me."

"Your confidence is truly something." Buttercup grumbled. At least he cared, and was self aware. "You do realize the tabloids will go nuts for this, right?" Buttercup took a sip of her drink as well.

"Not for a statement, probably for this, though." Brick grabbed Buttercup's face. Oh god, was this going where she thinks it's going? Brick slowly grabbed her face up to his and gave her… a kiss on the cheek. It was pretty tame but the entire club went NUTS. Words started flying.

"My sexual harassment days are over. At least it wasn't on the lips." Brick grinned and wiped his mouth. "You do realize how bad that makes you sound, right?" Buttercup furrowed her brows and sighed. Finishing her drink.

"Are you ready to go home?" Brick said, this time not in a whisper. Right, it's time to play along with the relationship facade they put up. "Totally. Blossom will absolutely kill me." It wasn't even that late, she never cared about Blossom's opinion in the first place, and she was going to go home with this jackass? What an absolutely lovely day for her.

Brick grabbed Buttercup's hand as they both exited the club. "Sometimes I forget you're superhuman." Buttercup said.

"And sometimes I forget to call an uber." Brick responded. "Do it now." Buttercup exclaimed.

"Can't, phones dead." Brick shrugged as he grabbed her hand and tried to walk her home. Buttercup took her hand out of his grip. "You remember we can fly?"

"What's the fun in that, you won't even get to see drunk couples doing the hanky panky." Brick told her.

"Oh shut up, you prick." Buttercup sighed. This was going to be the last time she grabbed his hand as she took it and flew up into the sky. "Why did we leave early?" Buttercup raised an eyebrow and asked him.

"Didn't want to get drunk to the point of dry humping on you. Also Butch needs me."

"Yeah right." Buttercup snorted and rolled her eyes as they got to her humble abode. "Are you leaving?" Buttercup asked him earnestly.

"What, do you want a goodbye kiss?" Brick teased. "I'm walking home."

Buttercup couldn't help but get the urge to do something stupid; so here it goes. Before Brick could walk off, Buttercup grabbed his face and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Payback." She grinned and gave a middle finger as she went up to her front door. He gave one back and a wink.

As she opened the door she saw Blossom waiting at the door, arms crossed. "Brick, really?" Blossom asked her sister.

"It was payback." She smiled.
