The Tournament of Power
*Caulifla's POV*
Caulifla lands on the platform of Universe 6 besides Kale after being defeated by Goku and being separated after their Potara Earrings had shattered from Goku's Divine Kamehameha.
Caulifla: "God dammit! I couldn't have lost! That was a cheap ass shot!"
Lord Champa: "Way to go you two!! Now we are only down to one! I knew i should have picked someone else!"
Caulifla spins around and gives Champa a death glare and instinctively Champa Cowers behind Vados to hide from the Saiyans wrath. Caulifla thens twirls to Kale.
Caulifla: "Kale are you okay!"
Caulifla springs up off the ground and heads to her sister, she helps her up whilst analyzing her body for damage.
Kale: "S-sis im okay, i-i promise! S-stop, everyone is looking!"
Caulifla stops looking Kale over after a few more seconds just to be sure. She finally stops and feels immense power coming down from the arena below them. She peer's over the edge and gazes upon Goku yet again powered up and facing off with Jiren yet again. Caulifla's eyes widen as she feels his energy runs through her and the people around her. The power was something she'd never felt from another Saiyan before, she felt his power while they were fighting but she was in the moment and never truly grasped the power, she was fully taken back by this immense show of strength. Caulifla felt a tingle run down her spine as if an Arctic draft had made its home in her body.
Kale: "D-did anyone else feel that??"
Cabba: "I can Kale! That power is amazing!"
Caulifla: "I-i.. but.."
Caulifla couldn't even speak as the power had left her breathless. 'Could i have this power? Is this something i could even achieve? Is this something only Universe 7 can achieve?' Her thoughts was warring with itself. She looks over to Cabba and Kale and she can even see that they're feeling everything she is? She peer's back over to the battle as Jiren and Goku are trading blows and cracking the arena's floor with every strike. Her eyes gloss over as she is watching Goku's every move as she is practically frothing from the mouth(not literally) from his power. 'I've got to learn from him, if i can reach this power i can do whatever i want, defeat anyone i want.' She then looks over to Cabba and Kale. 'Protect anyone i want..'
After a few moments of all the universes watching the battle below, Hit appears on Universe 6's platform. Caulifla looks up at Hit and at that moment it pops in her head. 'W-we.. we lost..' she looks over at the arena she can't find Goku, but she can still feel his energy. 'I'll never have a chance to train with him, i'll never become stronger, i'll never get to reach my full potential' she thought as her eyes start to mist up. She looks on at horror as she saw everyone around her looking down and around themselves as they start to fade away with a twinkle.
Caulfila: "No.. not yet.."
Many of the events of The Tournament of Power plays out the same way in the show. Goku goes Ultra Instinct. Jiren and Goku fight the final battle and eventually both get sent out of the ring after the rough and hard fought battle. Now we move on after that battle had concluded.
*Goku's POV*
Goku appears on the platform of Universe 7 and hits the ground. He looks up as all of his friends surround him in joy as their universe is the one that had won. They cheered Goku on not only for securing the victory but also by the show he had put on for everyone. 'We did it! I can't believe we did it!' He thought to himself as he stood up and looked over to Universe 11's platform. Goku looked at Jiren and went over as close as he could to the end of his platform and waved over at Jiren.
Goku: "Great fight Jiren! You truly are the strongest! I can't wait to see you again for a rematch you really made me want some more of that fight!"
Jiren smirks as Goku said these words. As quiet and as stoic Jiren showed the entire Tournament of Power he showed Goku the respect he had earned. He looked up at Goku with his arms still crossed.
Jiren: "Till next time Goku!"
He says this as his universe starts to disappear in the same twinkle as the universes before him. Goku's smile just slowly leaves him. He had won, but the universes being erased for it weighed on him heavily. He then looked over as the Grand Minister came down from the Grand Zeno's platform and announces that Universe 7 won and will receive the prize for the tournament. As the last remaining member of Universe 7 was Android 17 he was the one to make the wish.
Grand Minister: "17, as the winner of the Grand Zeno's Tournament, you are the one to make the wish on whatever you would like."
17: "well.. i don't really need anything. I also don't think that anything i wish for here i can't wish for back home sooo... how about this. I wish for all of the universes to return to the state they were before they were erased."
Grand Minister: "Your wish has been asked, so shall your wish be granted!"
Goku's eyes widen as 17 had made his wish. He couldn't believe that everyone was going to come back. He couldn't believe that all of this fun he was having even with the dire consequences it followed with would end like this. Goku was at the edge of the platform with a brilliant smile as he watched all of the universes started to return right before his own eyes, he couldn't believe that after all had happened this was the best outcome that could have happened. One by one the universe returned just as they were before they were eliminated. They all had a look of surprise on them as they thought they would all be gone but that look was immediately overtaken by joy and happiness and this filled Goku with pride. 'They're back! Woohoo!!!' Goku practically screamed in his own head.
*Caulifla's POV*
Emptiness upon emptiness is all she felt. It was like when you are slightly woken up by are right about to go back to sleep. It was a sweet but ominous limbo that Caulifla couldn't be free from, not even her own mind could escape from. But after this time which felt like an eternity, she felt a warmth cover her, she felt the limbo around her swirl and twist as she felt herself be lifted like a fish pulled from the water with a fishing line. Once she reaches the canopy of this limbo she saw a bright light and suddenly she was able to once again open her eyes. She blinked a few times as the tears that were forming in her eyes began to wet her cheek. 'I-im back? We were eliminated.. i died. I was erased.' She thought but as she looked around she saw Cabba and Kale looking around as well. 'Its true! We're back!' She quickly jumps up.
Caulifla: "Kale! Cabba! You're alive, we made it!"
Kale and Cabba look over at Caulifla and say almost in unison.
Kale and Cabba: "Cauli!!!"
The three saiyans jump into each-others arms and embrace each-other with as much strength as they can muster. They all cried but Caulifla's cry's were the strongest. She didn't quite know why she was crying so hard it was like something inside of her was forcing its way out. 'Im happy im alive and with my friends, but.. why am i crying so hard? Its not like we lost anyone, we're all here' as she is thinking this her mind immediately shot to a split frame of when she was fight Goku. It pierced her mind like a psychic arrow it was within an instant and as in the same time it arrived it was gone. 'What the hell is up with that? W-was.. was that Goku? Why am i thinking about him?' She breaks up her hug for a moment to turn towards Universe 7's platform. She saw Goku just standing there, gazing at the other universes with a bright smile. Right then she felt her heart skip a beat. Her cheeks flustered a bit but she didn't know what to make of this feeling as its never happened before. She shrugs it off as a passing feeling but as she is she hears the God of Destruction of Universe 7 speak aloud.
Lord Beerus: "Alright alright, yes we did it, we finally showed the universes who is the real top dog here, especially my brother" he says as his counterpart of Universe 6 "Now its time to leave and receive some of our delicious prizes back home from Bulma."
Goku: "Awe.. come on Beerus we can't stay a little bit longer? I wanna do this again!"
Goku gets socked in the arm by Vegeta with an annoyed look written all over his face.
Vegeta: "Quiet Kakarot! Lord Beerus said it time to leave then its time to leave! I don't wanna waste my time here amongst weaklings any longer."
Goku: "OWWWW!!! Come on Vegeta you didn't have to hit me, they did great! They were all super strong! I would fight with any of them again if i got the chance!"
Whis: "Now now you two. As Goku is right with how powerful these contenders were, Lord Beerus and Vegeta are right. it is time to return to our universe."
Goku looks down with a little bit of sadness, Caulifla just stares at him. 'Is this knucklehead really that man that overpowered almost every fighter in the arena' he just seemed like a goofball to him and this intrigued her more. As she is in mid thought Goku's yelling interrupts.
Goku: "Zeno's! I'll see you guys later! We'll be heading home but i loved this big fight you set up for us! I'll never forget it i had so much fun!"
Zeno: "Yes Goku! You were fun!"
Future Zeno: "Yeah!! Very fun!"
Zeno: "We loved that fight, come back soon !"
Future and prestent Zeno's: "Bye Goku!!!"
Goku waves at the short beings as Whis twirls his staff and the team of Universe 7 starts to fade. Caulifla's eyes begin to widen. She completely blanked on asking him where to find him, or even when to train with him! She outreached her hand towards him as he was disappearing.
Caulifla: "NO! WAI-"
Before she could get out another word he was gone. She felt her heart skip a beat. She lost her moment. 'I.. what... well how the hell am i going to get stronger now!?!?' She thought to herself as she feels a hand on her shoulder. She looks behind her and see's Kale with a sweet smile upon her face. 'Right, its time to go home. But i swear on everything Goku! You WILL train me!' She thought to herself.
Lord Champa: "Alright Vados, time to go home."
Vados: "Yes my lord"
Vados twirls her staff as energy swirls amongst the group and as Caulifla looks around she watches as the Arena around her start to change and disappear and over time it is replaced with Champa's homeworld. She looks down at her hands and began to clench them as she knew what she had to do next. 'Im going to find this Goku. Im going to learn how to hit Super Saiyan 3 and there is nothing, and i mean NOTHING that will stand in my way!'
This was my first ever story and my first post on this site. I do absolutely enjoy writing and i look forward to posting a lot more, im not sure if going forward if i want to add Lemon or heavier scenes with violence. Im sure i will figure it out the more i look into this story and find what i want to do most.
This will be something i work on time to time when i have the ability so im more than happy for feed back so if anyone has anything to say im more than happy to hear it!
