Hello Readers: As you may have noticed, I have been having some trouble when it comes to what I want to write story-wise. So, I have decided that I am going to revisit some of my old stories to try and get back into writing. And I have decided that I want to start by writing a new version of The Caseys since it was my most successful book. However, I need to let you know that there will be a bunch of changes that you will notice; if you have questions, please do not feel afraid to ask them as I want to help. Thanks again and I hope you enjoy this new version of the story. (Quick note: For context, this new story begins at Chapter 65 of the old version).

Chapter One
Hawaii

December 1st, 2018 – Casey Home, Honolulu
She actually did it again, she got the lifelong resident of Chicago out of there once more; for the second time in two months to be precise, which was impressive considering Matt never thought he'd ever want to leave Chicago. Rather, he was (originally) determined to be a Chicago guy for the rest of his life. However, that was no longer the case, as he was never truly a Chicago guy; rather, he was Gabby's guy. He's Gabby's husband, and he loves her much more than the city they used to live in. The city that just caused a bunch of drama and stress in their lives, which is why Matt can already tell that his wife is much happier in Hawaii; and he just knew that this is what she needed right now. She needed to be away from Chicago, and she needed to be alone with him as they made sure that the pregnancy went as smoothly as possible for both her and the baby; something which, in his opinion, couldn't have happened in Chicago as the drama would just put a lot of stress on Gabby's body. So, that left him with no choice but to leave the city he loves.

He had no choice but to leave Chicago behind, as he would much rather be a dad to the little baby she was currently pregnant with; their little one who will change their world. The world which has already been changed by some of the decisions which Matt and Gabby have made, the biggest one being that they came here on a whim; they came here with no plan, and no return date to Chicago. Their stay here was pretty much open ended, which may be a problem considering Matt has a job lined up in Chicago (at the fire academy) in January. However, he just doesn't know whether he can really do that right now; whether he can put the dream that he and Gabby have always wanted at risk again. After all, he has no idea what the stress that comes with being in Chicago could possibly do to Gabby or their child; so, he's scared to see just what could happen if they go back. And that's why he told the CFD that he didn't know just what his future plans were, other than the fact that he needed to get away with his wife; that he needed to leave the city.

That he had to get away from Chicago, so that he can concentrate on her rather than have to worry about how he's going to provide for her and their future child. And God, he truly loves his bosses more than anything; because they really came through for him, and they set him up with a great job. And what job might that be? What job can he do while he's in Hawaii? Well, that would be some of the things which he was already doing while he was still in Chicago, which are: (a) his chief courses as part of the future chiefs program, and (b) he's going to be teaching a virtual class to future captains about everything that comes with being a Captain. And the best part of all that, is that he's going to be able to do it virtually; and he loves that, because it means that they can stay in Hawaii for a while. Well, that, and another course. And that course would be the future lieutenants course to prepare firefighters for the lieutenants exam. And god, is that going to be a flash from the past; after all, he hasn't gone through those materials in a long time.

Not that he's had to, as he's been a Lieutenant in the CFD since 2012. So, he hasn't needed to study that material in 7 years. But now, he needs to go through it again so that he can adequately teach the course; and that's precisely what he's in the midst of doing right now as his gorgeous wife continued to sleep upstairs in their rental home. God, he's still amazed that they were able to get a home so fast; in fact, they got in within a week, which meant that they got to move in here yesterday. And while he does still need to unpack, he didn't want to do it right now as Gabby was still asleep (but you already knew that); and, it's also due to the fact that it's the perfect time for him to just get his things ready for January; which is really nice, as it's just some quiet time ahead of Gabby wanting to go explore today. After all, those are their plans; they're going to go out and explore Hawaii with a day at the beach. Well, that, and Matt may do a bit of surfing; as that's one of their plans as well. He wants to do some surfing, which Gabby is going to love.

After all, it means that she's going to have to watch him walk around in a tight wetsuit, because that's what he wears when he surfs; and when he gets wet, he really shows off for his girl. Just like he's showing off right now to his bosses that he's going to keep doing exactly what he promised them he'd do, which is to keep up with his lessons, which will also include an update on the course which he's writing for them. And that's precisely what he just finished attaching to the e-mail which he was sending to the head of the academy, Chief Boden, and the Commissioner. Yes, the Commissioner is also part of the deal as he is the one who chose him to become a chief. So, he's just glad that they all signed off on him doing this; especially considering it's what he and Gabby need, time away from Chicago so that they can have a family. God, she's been under so much stress in Chicago; so much so, that he knows that this is exactly what she needs right now. She needs to take it easy and relax to the best of her abilities, while he does his thing.

While he does what he was originally going to do in Chicago but will instead be doing here in Hawaii. In fact, that was the entire reason why they asked if they could move here to Hawaii for a while after they learned that the course Matt was going to be teaching would be an online course, which means that Matt had no need to stay in Chicago. He can literally work from anywhere, so that's precisely what they decided to do rather than stay in Chicago (as they didn't have to). Rather, they left Chicago so that they could be somewhere warm; somewhere they can take it easy and relax for the rest of Gabby's pregnancy (and maybe even longer than that). Hence the reason why they decided to move to Hawaii and into this multi-million-dollar home. Yes, they are living in a multi-million-dollar home which was on the market for rent, which they then rented, when they realized that they could afford it due to the fact that they asked her mother (who's home burned down, if you forgot) to pay rent while she lived in their home in Chicago.

And while Gabby was a bit apprehensive to ask her mother to pay rent at first, Gabby realized that it was just like she was paying rent (or a hotel fee); but this way, the money would stay in the family and would be used on her grandchild. So, that's precisely where her mother is currently living, while they're in Hawaii; until they decided to move back to Chicago, which they haven't decided yet. They haven't decided when they would return, and that's quite nice; as they both already love it. And that's especially the case when they are going to be joined by someone else (who can also help pay the rent) in a few weeks. Since Kelly's dad recently came out of his coma, it meant that he's not going to have to plan a funeral (which he's grateful for). After all, Matt had to plan a funeral before (for his father) and it was a horrible experience. Then again, it's not like Kelly would have to do very much; as the CFD would take care of planning it, due to the fact that his father (Benny) is a former firefighter. And they get free funerals, which are planned by the CFD.

And while Matt originally thought about going for his best friend, he soon decided against it due to the fact that he wants to stay with Gabby instead; as she can't travel there again, not when they just got here. And Gabby wasn't able to sway him to do otherwise, nor could she ever as this is where he belongs at the end of the day. He belongs with his wife, where he can take care of her and just make sure that she has the easiest pregnancy possible. Plus, he really likes their new life that they have here; especially when Gabby decides to come downstairs and tell him that she's away wearing lingerie. The lingerie that she was wearing for him last night, which didn't let him make love to her; but, that was due to the fact that she was just too tired to make love to him and needed rest. So, that's precisely what they've been doing…and it's what they're going to do today as well. They're going to do whatever they can to make sure that Gabby gets as much rest as possible, other than when she wants to have sex. And right now, Matt things she wants to have sex.

The reason? Why else would Gabby come downstairs in lingerie, if she didn't want sex. It's the only reason which Matt can think of, as to why Gabby was currently walking up to him in such sexy lingerie right now. "Morning." Looking up from his laptop when he heard Gabby's voice this morning, Matt smirked as he loved the sight in front of him; the sight of his wife wearing sexy lingerie for him. "Morning is right." Gabby smirked as Matt said that, watching as he moved his laptop out of his lap and set it down on the couch so that his lap was now vacant; that was, until she made her way over to him and sat down in it just like he wanted her to do. He wanted her in his lap like she is right now, while he put his hands on her body and smirked as he looked up into Gabby's eyes before kissing her softly. "Hi beautiful." Gabby smirked as she heard Matt call her beautiful, before wrapping her arms around his neck. "Sleep good?" Gabby nodded as Matt asked her whether she slept well, as she did; she just didn't like the way she woke up this morning.

And just how did she wake up this morning? Without her husband's strong arms around her. "Yeah, I did; but I did miss waking up in someone's arms this morning." Matt agreed with Gabby as he smiled at his girl. "Sorry, I thought I'd get some work done while you slept in bed." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling as she leaned in and kissed the man of her dreams once again; the man she's so glad convinced her to do this, to get away with each other so that they could concentrate on each other and the pregnancy. Matt truly has gone above and beyond for her, and it's just the best feeling in the entire world for him to do everything he's done for them…for her. She really does know that this man loves her, and that's why she's wearing this lingerie for him right now as she wants to show him just how much she appreciates all he's done for her as a way to help her relax. This is her dream come true, and Matt really is such an amazing husband. And even better, there's no doubt in her mind that matt's going to be an amazing father to their child.

To the baby they already love more than anything in the entire world, with the exception of each other (of course). I mean, he truly is the best man a woman could ever ask for as a husband. And even better, he's really sexy too; god, the way he makes her so hormonal when he's shirtless is so hot. And that happens so much more now, as he's no longer limited to just being shirtless at home; as now that they're in Hawaii, he can be shirtless outside more often…especially when they're at the beach. God, now that's such a turn on. When they're at the beach, and he's surfing. God, now that's hot. He's so sexy, and she just loves him more than anything; just like she's enjoying the feeling of his lips on her neck. God, the way he sucks on her neck is such a turn on; but not as much of a turn on as when he's shirtless, which is what she needs right now. So, she tugged on his shirt. "Shirt." Matt laughed, agreeing with his wife as she said that, smiling as he went to take off his shirt like she asked him too. After which, he threw it away so that it was on the ground.

And damn did Gabby love that, because her husband truly is a real turn on. She just loves him more than anything and is so proud that she gets to call him her husband. "So, listen. I know you're probably busy with your courses…" Matt shook his head. "Hey, don't even worry about that. I can do my courses when you take a nap, I want to be with you when you're up." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling. "So, what are we doing today?" Matt smirked. "I was thinking we could go to the beach today, but that means that we need to get out of the house, which means you need to change out of this sexy lingerie." Gabby laughed when she heard Matt say that. "Well, I know how I can make up for me not being able to wear lingerie at the beach." Matt smirked as Gabby said that, before leaning in and starting to suck on her neck. "Oh, how's that?" Moaning as she grabbed the back of Matt's head, Gabby whispered to him. "I know you missed me last night. So, we could always have a bit of fun before we go to the beach."

Matt smirked, agreeing with the woman of his dreams. "Before, or after we have breakfast?" Gabby bit her lip as Matt asked her that question. "Can we have breakfast first?" Matt nodded, as he most certainly can get her breakfast first. "Hey, I get it. You're pregnant and need to eat first." Gabby nodded, as that's precisely what she needs to do. "Thanks." Grabbing Matt's shirt, Gabby got up and just smirked due to the fact that her husband is a real hung; especially as he leaned back on the couch he was sitting on as he admired her lingerie. "Fuck, such sexy lingerie." Gabby laughed. "Oh, don't act like you don't know you turn me on when you're wearing those nice, tight boxers of yours." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, well aware that he was turning her on by just wearing tight boxers for her right now; after all, that's something that always turned her on. Well, let's be honest; everything he does when he's shirtless turns her on because he's very muscular. However, that's not the point right now; rather, the point is that they want each other.

They both want each other really bad, and they're both going to enjoy each other just as soon as Matt's upstairs; in in their bedroom, where he's going to make sure that his wife is well aware of just how much he truly loves her. And that starts with him taking her in his arms, as they make love to each other in bed this morning; well, after they have breakfast of course. They need to eat that first due to the fact that Gabby's pregnant. He just wishes that he could get his wife as an appetizer before breakfast.

Matt's POV:
As I walked into me and Gabby's bedroom this morning shortly after making us some pancakes, I couldn't help but smirk as I saw my gorgeous wife standing on the patio which is attached to our room; especially when she's just wearing that sexy lingerie which I was going to be taking off after we have breakfast, but that I was going to touch right now. That I was going to touch once I had this breakfast set touch, as that's what I want to do right now. I want to walk over to her and put my hands on her body as we savour this, as we truly take in this time off which we've been blessed with; as we concentrate on what truly matters, which is how much I truly love my wife (and just how happy I am that we decided to take some extended time away with each other). This is going to be time that we really get to enjoy with each other. And that's precisely why I am so happy whenever I have Gabby in my arms, which is what I'm about to have right now as I stepped close to her from behind and wrapped my arms around her waist this morning.

Only for her to immediately put her hand on my arm and smile as she stroked it with her thumb. "Hi you." I smiled when I heard gabby say that, before bending down and kissing her shoulder. "Hi. How are you feeling right now?" Gabby smiled as she turned around and looked at me. "I'm felling good. I'm also very happy to be here with my husband, alone as we hold each other." I agreed with Gabby, while wrapping my arms around her once more and bending down to kiss her softly; all the while, I showed her just how much I truly love her and how I will never take her love for granted. Recently, I've been doing my best to make sure that I treat gabby like the queen she is. And that's precisely what I plan on doing right now, when I made love to her in our bed; well, what we're calling our bed as it's really a bed which we're renting. But regardless, it's our bed for now; and it's very comfortable, which is exactly what we need for Gabby. After all, I want her to be comfortable while she's pregnant with our baby. The baby that I can't wait to meet.

And that's precisely why I was looking down at my beautiful wife, before bending down and kissing her softly. "So, this is what you want right now?" Gabby smirked when I asked her whether this is what she wanted right now, this being me shirtless and kissing her. "Of course, it is, it's exactly what I want baby. I want you to take me in your arms and just kiss me nice and slowly. I mean, what pregnant woman doesn't want her husband to take her in his arms and make her feel special?" I smiled when Gabby said that, as that's precisely what I plan on doing for her right now. I plan on taking her in my arms, all the while making her feel like the most special woman in the entire world, which is what she is to me, she's my girl and the most important woman in my world. And I plan on showing her that. "I'm glad that you feel special Gabby, because I love you and you're my world." Gabby agreed with me, smiling as she leaned in and proceeded to kiss me softly; while I took things nice and slow with the woman I love, the woman of my dreams.

Placing my hands on her sides, I smiled as I looked at my wife. "So, how exactly are we doing this? Are we going to get you undressed before or while we're in bed?" Gabby laughed. "Well, we need to eat breakfast first." I agreed with Gabby as she told me that, well aware that was the case; especially considering she's now 12 weeks pregnant. "By the way, any morning sickness?" Gabby took a breath as I asked her that question, which made me realize that she had some; and that just made me feel horrible, as I always told her that I wanted her to tell me if she had some. So, I grabbed her hand and led her towards our bed so that I could get her to sit down and just take it easy, which is what I would've done had I been here to take care of her while she was having morning sickness in the first place. "Why didn't you tell me Gabby?" Gabby sighed. "You were downstairs working on your course." Turning her around so that she was in front of me once we were next to out bed, I shook my head as that wasn't what I wanted to hear. After all, she's my girl.

I'm her husband, and she's my priority. "Hey, look at me." Gabby agreed with me, while also feeling me step close to her. "Gabby, you're my wife and I love you." Placing my hand on her neck, I leaned in and kissed her softly. "Gabby, I love you more than anything and the last thing I want to hear is you tell me that you want me to work when I instead need to take care of you. That's my job." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, before getting close to me and wrapping her arms around my neck. "Listen, you want me to get us some sweats or something comfortable to wear?" Gabby sighed. "Let me guess, you don't want me in lingerie right now?" I shook my head. "Not when you feel like crap babe. Let's just get changed into cozy clothes and then we can eat." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Can I wear something comfortable, while you stay in your boxers?" I agreed with Gabby, as I can do that. Stepping close to her, I grabbed her hand and just smiled as I leaned in and kissed the woman I love softly. "Here, let me get you undressed, I'll get you some new clothes and then we'll get in bed and eat." Gabby smirked. "Want to have a bit of fun first?"

I bit my lip as Gabby asked me that question, as I am very tempted to say yes to taking her in my arms and making love to her; yet, I also knew that was the wrong thing to say based on the fact that I love her, and I will always want to have her. "Let's eat first." Gabby agreed with me as I said that, smiling as she turned around and went to get in bed ahead of me so that we could eat.

Gabby's POV:
It didn't take me and Matt long to have breakfast this morning, especially not me when I am so hormonal. When I want my husband more than anything in the entire world. And while I didn't speed eat, I basically did so in the healthiest way possible. I wanted to eat, so that I could get what I really want. And that would be Matt running his hands all over my body, as we took things nice and slow with each other; and right now, that's precisely what I'm getting. I'm getting the man I love all over me, especially those strong hands of his which are so sexy. The way he runs them all over my body is just incredible, and he has to know that it truly turns me on more than anything in the entire world. However, this isn't entirely what I wanted to be doing right now; rather, I wanted to be under him. I want to be laying down under the man of my dreams as he made love to me. "Baby, I love you; and I really do love being up like this, but…" Pulling back, Matt smirked as he looked up at me. "You want to be under me, rather than in my lap?" I nodded, as I did.

I wanted to be under him in bed, feeling him make sweet love to me. "Baby, you've been teasing me all morning. I want you to make love to me, as I crave you." Matt agreed with me, smirking as he leaned in and kissed me softly. "I'm so hormonal right now baby. You know what you being shirtless does to me baby." Matt smirked, agreeing with me as I said that; after which, he moved to lay down in bed some more and just smirked as he rolled over on top of me. "So, is this what you want instead my dear?" I agreed with Matt as he asked me whether this is what I wanted, as it was. It was precisely what I want. "I want you to make love to me babe. I want you to take things nice and slow with me as we take things slow with each other, as we make love to each other." Matt agreed with me, smirking as he laid down on top of me and adjusted the covers; placing his hand on my hip afterwards, Matt smirked as he started to take things nice and slow with me. Meanwhile, I placed my hands on his toned chest as we showed each other love.

However, it wasn't long before Matt was starting to do something else that really turned me on as he soon placed his hand on the side of my neck and bent down to sick on my neck. And damn was that a real turn on, something which he knew. "Baby, so sexy." Matt smirked, agreeing with me as he sucked on my neck. "Baby, fuck!" And god, did that just make Matt smirk some more due to the fact that he just loves it when I swear for him; so much so, that he grabbed one of my hands and intertwined our fingers as he pinned it (and me) to the bed. While at the same time, he also whispered to me. "Just stay still baby and enjoy as I make love to you." I agreed with Matt, as that was certainly something I could do as he bent down and kissed me softly; kissing me precisely how I wanted him to kiss me right now. I want him to kiss me nice and slowly, which is exactly how Matt was in the midst of kissing me right now.

And just like how perfect his kiss was, his making love to me was perfect too; it was exactly what we both wanted, as it just pleased me more than anything. Then again, Matt never had any problems when it came to getting me to moan. And damn, did he make me moan this morning as this truly was the best round of sex we've had in a while. Sorry if that's the truth Matt.
