Melodies -Miguel x Mirabel : The recovery

Miguel and Bruno ran to the Zaperteria and Bruno began banging on the door. It wasn't long before Rosa answered.
"There you are where the hell have you been!" She exclaimed then looked at Mirabel in his arms.
"Ay dios mio what happened?" She asked
"No time to explain ". He quickly answered
"Mamá call the doctor Ahora!!" He yelled
Luisa came in and looked at a blood stained Mirabel in his arms. Then ran and called the doctor.
"Let's get her in bed don't want to make it worse". Enrique explains
Before Bruno could step a foot in. Rosa stopped him.
"Señor who are you?" She asked
"Lo siento señorita I am Bruno Madrigal. Mirabel's Tio". He replied
"Really?" She said confused
"Si". He reassured
"Rosa let the man in please ". Elena yelled
She gave an apologetic look. He smiled back and told her it was okay. She nodded and Accepts and walked away into the kitchen.
"So your really Mirabel's Tio?" Socorro questioned
"Si". He replied
"She talks a lot about you and How much she missed you and her family she told me a lot of stories about how much you mean to her". Coco smiled
"Really?" He asked surprised
"Si". She smiled
He smiled he didn't know his sombrina really cared for him that much. Then shook his head out of those thoughts and smiled at the girl.
"If you don't mind me asking what is your name señorita?" He asked
"It's Socorro Rivera, I am Miguel's sister . But you can call me Coco". Coco smiled
"Oh so that's who was in vision next to Mirabel , Miguel and Coco Wait Casita left the door so that they would meet". He thought
"Señor are you all right?" Coco called
"Huh oh Si Estas bien". Bruno shakes
"Your worried about Mirabel aren't you ". She said
"Very much". Bruno replies
"I never asked for your name Señor ." Coco asked
"It's Bruno.. Bruno Madrigal". Bruno started Nervously
"Well it's nice to meet you Bruno". Coco smiled
" igualmente señorita ". He smiled back
"I know you're worried about her but she'll be absolutely fine, she's strong just like you". Coco stated
Bruno was surprised no one ever said such a nice thing to him before. Especially since the town shamed him often.
"So tell me I can see you have a close relationship with your Hermano what's that like?" Bruno starts
"He's been there for me ever since I was born . He always tells me jokes and stories about the family he plays amazing music but he can be a bit annoying sometimes ". Coco rolled her eyes
"I know how you feel I was born with 2 sisters and I am the youngest, they can be a bit annoying but I love them very much ". Bruno explained
"Huh. So how come your so close to Mira ?" She asked
"Well… I have been with her since she was a baby I looked after her more then anyone else. She'd always make me want to pull my hair out when she was little. But I love her just as much". He stated
Coco smiled. Bruno kept looking at the door he wanted anything to go in there and check on her to see if she was okay.
"She'll be ok Bruno I know it". Coco reassured
"I hope your right". He replied unsure
Just then the doctor came out holding a record paper . Both Bruno and Miguel stood up ready to hear the news.
"How is she?" They both asked
"Well it looks okay for now but she'll need to stay in bed for a month lest she risk any further injury . Luckily the knife just missed her ribs, the paramedics have taken the knife out. She is awake you can see her now but I suggest going in one at a time as it may be overwhelming for her". Doctor Hernandez explains
"Si Thank you doctor ". Enrique replies
The doctor then left the scene picked up His medical bag and walked out.
"Bruno you go first ". Miguel gestured
"You sure?"He asked
"Yes". He nodded
Bruno nodded and went and found Mirabel sitting up in bed a bandage near her ribs and a smile on her face.
"Hola Tio". She welcomed
"Oh My Mariposa I am so sorry. If I had just watched Ernesto then none of this would have ever happened I should have looked out". He cried
"It's okay Tio I am here. Look I am fine see?" She gestured to herself.
He went over to the bed and held her hand tightly and she squeezed hard. She looked at her Tio with sad eyes and he looked back.
"Tio Lo siento Mucho I should've looked out more if I did none of this would have happened ". Mirabel cried
"Hey sssh Mira Estas bien, Oh it's okay I've got you". He reassured and hugged her gently.
Once she stop crying she spoke:
"How did I get such an amazing Tio Huh?" She laughed
"I don't know it's a gift". He replied laughing
Mirabel looked at him with the biggest smile ever on her face and laughed. Dios Bruno missed his sombrina's laugh and he was glad to have her back.
"Oh you know What I just realised mamá is going to be worried sick and Isa and Luisa". Mirabel looked worried.
"Don't worry Mira I will write them a letter Okay let them know we are going to have to stay here for one more month ". Bruno replied
"We?" Mirabel looked confused
"Of course do you think I am going to leave you here just like that and never talk or have anything to do with you, how silly of you to think that". Bruno laughed
"Si, Wait how does Isabela know I thought you told no one apart from Dolores ". Mirabel looked confused
"I had to she wouldn't let me go otherwise, she knew I was lying. She knows me all to well". He exclaimed
"Classic Isabela". Mirabel laughed
"Si I guess a Tio's job is never done". He replied laughing
"I guess not". Mirabel smiled
They just sat in silence for a little bit enjoying each other's company taking it all in. Until Bruno spoke up:
"Miguel's a good man I see he loves you very much". Bruno said
"Really? I never thought You approved of him". Mirabel looked
"Mira por favor of all the men you have courted, no one makes you laugh as hard, makes you feel safe and I haven't seen your smile that big in ages". Bruno explained
"Gracias Tio Bruno ". She smiled
~~~ 2 Minutes later ~~~
Miguel walked in happy that she was awake. Then went over to her.
"I'll leave you two alone". Bruno said as he walked out the door.
Mirabel nooded as Bruno closed the door.
"So I-" she was stopped with a deep and passionate kiss on Mirabel's lips.
"Que?" She asked
"I am so glad you're okay don't Ever do that again ". Miguel stated
"Mi Amor i would NEVER ". She laughed
"Next time I get to the land of the dead. Ernesto will get what's coming he's hurt my family long enough ". Miguel gritted his teeth.
Mirabel was surprised at the sudden determination coming from Miguel.
"Miguel Mi Amor You know I am not some Damsel right". Mirabel pointed out.
"I know that it's just I don't want to loose you ". Miguel looked sad.
"NEVER". She reassured
She kissed him and they laughed and broke apart.
"Just out of Curiosity how did you fight Ernesto not that i had doubt you would but how?" Miguel asked
"I got self taught I had a lot of bullies growing up so I had to learn how to defend myself ". She replied
Miguel laughed.
"Que?" Mirabel asked
"Nada Mi Amor you just remind me of Mamá Imelda that's all". He laughed
"Oh so if I do this". Mirabel reached for her shoe.
Then she lightly smacked him with the shoe as a joke.
"Exactly like that". Miguel joked
She kissed him and they laughed.
Meanwhile Héctor watched with Imelda from up above. They smiled at the sight before them.
"Am I really like that?" She asked
"No?" Héctor was not very good at lying.
"Héctor ". Imelda's vocie dangerously low.
"It's okay Mi Amor you can tell me the truth ". Imelda reassured
"Si". He said as he expected the boot , but to his surprise Imelda embraced him he hugged back tight.
~~~ Back with Miguel and Mirabel ~~~
"Do you want me to get you Anything?" Miguel asked
"No Mi Amor". She responded
"Although I do have one thing to ask." Mirabel said
"Oh and what's that?" He responded
"Sing something por favor ". She requested
"Anything for you Mi vida". He smiled
So that's how he spent the night just singing and laughing and talking. Miguel was so happy to have his Amor back.

AN: That's it my lovelies. If your wondering what is with the knife to Mirabel's ribs Ernesto put it there without her looking and that's why she fainted.
