Hey, so i watched the Nine realms and i wanted to do a story on it, but while Pondering i had a fun idea, I wanted to Flex my War writing stuff and so i came up with the Idea of the Planet Earth Finding a Portal that Leads to the HTTYD Universe, i did a story like that in 'War for Sol 3 Remastered', but that was Far Future earth from 2 universes and the Galactic Empire, but how would, say, A F-14 Tomcat, or SU-33 Fare against the Dragon hunters (Well), I have not seen this idea written out much, so, thus, our story begins here.

Also, i don't know how such Portals would form or work, but HTTYD is a fantasy setting, so do we really need to think about it, and i will have Fictional Presidents for the United states, I do not want to get i might create fictional ship classes or ships, just to make things interesting

July 23rd, 1980, United states Destroyer Spurance, Northern sea

The day had been fairly uneventful for the Crew of the U.S.S Spurance, it was a Routine Deployment to the City of Oslo, The Spurance had been commissioned 5 years before and seen little or even no Action in that 5 year period, Most of the crew had been going throughout the day with no sense of urgency, the sailors would do their jobs the best they could, but that was it.

Captain Johnson had been promoted to the ship only 5 months before, He had performed his duty's well and also came from a long line of captains. He was on the Bridge, he spent most of his time there, but most of the time it was just Normal things, Sonar depth, Radar returns, and Political Updates on the worldwide status, the Cold war was still brewing, and he wanted to know at a moments notice if one side lifted a finger. Every time, however, it was just the same, either 'Safe Radar Depth', 'No Abnormal Radar Returns', or 'No Nuclear Destruction' happening, with a 'Sir' Served at the end.

This time would be different.

Captain Johnson Was looking over the Radar returns on the Bridge, a Bleeping sound, then nothing came up on the display, Nothing really Happened, but given they were in a Pretty peaceful Area of Europe, This was Expected.

"Captain" Said A Bridge Officer.

"Yes, Lieutenant? " He asked the officer.

"Getting really Abnormal Radar returns sir." The Lieutenant said.

"Where?" Captain Johnson asked, he was Escorted to the Radar display, Something weird.

"Is the Reading Accurate?" He asked, The Lieutenant Shrugged. "Only one way to find out" The Lieutenant said."It's just around 20 Kilometres away, Tell the Ensign to steer us 20 to Starboard to reach it, and also, please inform me when we arrive."Captain Johnson said

"Yes sir!"

Later

The Spurance had been travelling at a good rate of 24 Knots, Even so, it took a slightly less than a Hour to reach the Area.

"I want a detailed Observation about what is there" He said,he grabbed a pair of binoculars, and was able to see the area.

His Mouth fell open, he could not really fathom or understand what he saw, a Bright Blue...Thing Hovered in the Middle of the Ocean, just a foot outside the waves, it was Glowing like the sun, Just less Bright, it was about 8 Feet across and a Sphere, a Bit of a ORB.

"What the Hell is that?"

United States ship Enterprise, Aircraft carrier.

The massive enterprise sailed across the waves of the North sea, only a few hours before, the Enterprise had been on its way to visit London, but around a hour ago, they received a transmission from the U.S.S Spurance, the Vessel had spotted what they had described as a Orb, at first, they had thought it was a joke, but when the captain described it in more detail, they began to realize that the Captain of the Spurance would not risk his career over a Joke. and given the U.S.S Enterprise was the only ship within reach of the Spurance since its escort fleet had docked in Scotland, the Enterprise decided to respond, they had some fuel to spare.

"So, Gentlemen" The Commanding officer of the Enterprise said to the round table of Officers. "What is your take?"

"Sir, with respect" Said a Commander, "I Doubt that this is something worth our time, it could be a practical Joke, is it worth Devoting a United States Aircraft carrier over this?"

"Commander, i appreciate your opinion" Said the Captain, "But no U.S Destroyer captain would summon a Aircraft carrier away from port for a Practical joke" He said

"I agree with the captain" Said the Captain of the Lead squadron of Tomcats. "I do not think they would want to play a joke like this, and it could be a Soviet weapon of some type."

A Bit of chatter at that,the Soviets had not been really doing much in Aviation technology recently, but perhaps they had been making a Unmanned aircraft that blinded Radar?

"I do not think it is that" The Captain said, "I Think...I Think its something more Important than that, I think the fate of the United states may depend on it"

"How so?" A Commander asked

"Call it a gut feeling"

"That's a terrible answer"

"Really? If it was not for a Radio operator having a gut feeling, We may had lost Midway"

"That Operator had reasons to Believe Target A.F Was Midway sir" The Commander said

"Yes, but in the end, it was a gut feeling, and that is not the point, i have a feeling that this 'Orb' May hold some significance, but i also think that we will be the ones to find out

Ah, so i put that Midway reference in there for a reason, but Next chapter will see them find the wonderful world of Dragons, and beyond that, i cannot tell you anything.
