Sonic is brought back onto his feet off the sand by a newly arrived Sally Acorn as the two shared a smile.

Sonic: "About time you showed up."

Sally: "Oh hush, you arrive fashionably late all the time. This is just paying you back in spades."

Sonic: "Well, you know. Fastest thing on Mobius likes to take his time and-"

Julie: "Uh. Love birds? We're in the middle of something."

Sonic and Sally immediately pop back into reality as they see the Hard Boiled Heavies around them, Julie, and Tails.

Sonic: "Oh, right. I forgot that these punks existed."

Heavy Gunner: "Why you little vermin! Who invited the lotta ya!?"

Heavy Magician: "Yeah! Go somewhere else and bother some other great set of robots!"

Heavy King, who had been kicked down by Sally, rises to his feet as he glares down at the Mobians.

Heavy King: "You got one free shot. You won't get a second one. Hard Boiled Heavies! Enough of your nonsense! Destroy them!"

Tails: "Here they come!"

Julie: "What's the plan?"

Sonic looks at Sally, the two sharing a smile before…

Sonic: "Split 'em up!"

Sonic rushes at Heavy Shinobi as Sally kicks Heavy Magician away. Julie shoots at Heavy Gunner to get his attention, leading to a gunfight between the duo. This left Tails to deal with Heavy Rider, who just looked at each other.

Tails: "Uh… Hey. This is really unfair since I can fly… So how about just saying I won?"

Heavy Rider: "Hmph! I may have lost my original steed - and am still upset over it - but I shan't giveth up! Come, my other faithful steed!"

Heavy Rider's request is heard as a bird-like robot flies from the Metallic Madness base. Rider then jumps onto the bird as it swoops by before Rider starts flying towards Tails.

Tails: "Uh oh… That's not good…"

Tails immediately makes for the air as he is chased by the pursuing Heavy Rider, avoiding the chain mace the latter was throwing at him.

Within the Metallic Madness base, an Egg Robo enters the capsule cargo hold at the bottom of the base. It patrols the area, making sure everything was in order. Within Amy and Tekno's capsule, the green canary was still hard at work with the wiring of the capsule while Amy was peeking out the window to see the robot enter.

Amy: "Hate to rush you, Tekky. But we got bolt brains coming in for inspection."

Tekno: "Only one more wire to cross and…"

The capsule then pops open, smoke alerting the Egg Robo before it was smashed to bit by the impact of a hammer swing, courtesy of Amy Rose.

Amy: "And we're free!"

As Amy cheers triumphantly, Tekno runs to a nearby terminal and hacks into it in order to gauge where they were and what was going on while they were trapped. Tekno pulls up a map of Mobius, showing they were at West Island.

Tekno: "Hmm… West Island… Really? Why'd we come to some tropical island?"

Amy: "Huh? Uh… Vacation, I guess?"

Tekno: "Yeah, I wish I could buy that. Let's see…"

Tekno hijacks a camera outside and sees the fight outside with Sonic and friends against the Hard Boiled Heavies. Amy sees Sonic and Sally and runs up to the screen.

Amy: "Sonic! Sally! Tekno, we need to go help them!"

Tekno: "Not so fast, Ames. We get caught in the crossfire, we could cause more trouble than help. Instead… I say we focus our attention on the upstairs."

Amy: "You mean… The twerp who trapped us?"

Tekno: "Mmhm. And destroying this base. We'll be helping Sonic… by taking out the enemies from within."

Amy thought about this plan, and though not being with Sonic did pain her, Tekno was right and this idea would help in the long run. Amy smiled at Tekno before readying her hammer, nodding to her partner.

Amy: "As Sonic would say… Let's do this!"

Back with Sonic's team, Julie was seen avoiding a series of explosions as she was being chased by a series of missiles shot by the Heavy Gunner. She shot a few of these missiles, exploding them prematurely, but the few that she didn't hit, she had to dodge.

Heavy Gunner: "Hold still, already, ya pink worm-eatin' brat!"

Julie: "The only one who'll be eating worms… is YOU, junk metal!"

Julie jumps over a missile as it hits a wall, managing to avoid the explosion before shooting her gun at Gunner, landing a few direct shots to the hand holding the bazooka steady. These hits cause a missile to be fired into the air. Heavy Gunner soon recovers before glaring at Julie.

Heavy Gunner: "'Ey! Watch where yer shootin'! That there last missile's motion-guided!"

Julie: "That's the idea."

Julie smiles as she gives a thumbs up, then turns it into a thumbs down. Heavy Gunner looked confused for a moment before he looks up to see that exact missile coming at him, then realizes too late that he was pointing his bazooka to the ground next to him. He jumps away as his bazooka is consumed by the explosion.

Heavy Gunner: "Grr… Of all that low down, dirty…"

Julie then comes in with a drop kick, slamming both her feet into the face of the robot, knocking him out instantly.

Julie: "Don't use such big guns to compensate for a lack of power then."

Julie smiles before holstering her gun. She then turns to see Tails being chased by the Heavy Rider. Heavy Rider continues to fling his flail at the flying fox while his bird bot fires shots out its beak. Tails dodges these attacks, but he was starting to get tired now.

Tails: "I can't keep flying around this guy's attacks forever… I need to think… What would Sonic do…?"

Tails began to think before realizing… that he was overthinking the situation.

Tails: "What Sonic would do… is just do! As in just think on the fly!"

Tails quickly turns around before charging up a Spin Dash in midair while propelling his tails faster to seemingly absorb air behind him.

Tails: "If I charge up enough power with this Spin Dash while maintaining my flight… I can hopefully smash this guy back to the ground! No… I KNOW I CAN!"

Heavy Rider: "So you've stoppeth your flying away to faceth me like a true man! Thou hast my respect! But this bout is soon to be finished!"

Tails continued to rev up as Heavy Rider closes in, the robot tossing his chain flail towards the fox. Tails then blasts off towards the Heavy Rider, using the build up of air to propel himself at the spiked iron ball… and smash it head-on, continuing his acceleration towards his foe. Heavy Rider is flung off his bird bot as it gets destroyed by Tails. As the Heavy Rider falls, he extends a hand out towards the exploded remains of his second steed.

Heavy Rider: "I have lost yet another of my beloved steeds… My carelessness… hath lead to my ultimate defeat… Tails… Ye are a worthy rival…"

Heavy Rider crashes onto the ground head first, knocking him out as birds circle over his head. Tails pants before collapsing out of the air, plummeting to the ground. But before he could hit the ground, Julie rush in and catches him, skidding to a stop once he was saved.

Julie: "Not bad, kid. Not bad at all."

As the battle raged on, Omelette, after returning with a bowl of popcorn some time ago, looked at her monitor with absolute anger as she sees both Heavy Rider and Heavy Gunner fall to the heroes, causing her to toss her bowl at the monitor.

Omelette: "You idiots! You were supposed to win, not lose! I created you to be the ultimate elite task force! So actually be an ultimate elite task force!"

Omelette pouts in her seat as she growls, thinking over her next move.

Omelette: "Great… At the rate I'm going lose! And I can't afford to… Think, Omelette…"

As Omelette was thinking, an alarm soon went off, followed by an explosion that rocked the base.

Omelette: "What the-!? What was that!?"

Omelette's monitor soon showed a Caterkiller contacting the girl bot.

Caterkiller: "Miss Omelette! Trouble! The two prisoners from Miracle Planet have escaped and are-"

Contact is cut short as Omelette is greeted by static. The girl was fuming as she slams her fists onto the control panel, smashing them to pieces.

Omelette: "I hate… hate… HATE these stupid animals! Ugh… I should've just destroyed them while I had the chance!"

Omelette then goes to her elevator and descends down to take care of Amy and Tekno herself.

Sonic and Sally were continuing their fight with their own Heavies, until Sonic and Sally stand back to back while glaring at their enemies.

Sonic: "So Sal. Did you miss me? What've you been up to since the Death Egg exploded?"

Sally: "Is now a good time to idly chitchat?"

Heavy Magician immediately summons Egg Robo illusions before having them fire their lasers at the duo whilst Heavy Shinobi tossed his shurikens. Sally conjures a shield for the lasers while Sonic starts running in a small circle to build up wind to blow away the shurikens.

Sonic: "Ah, come on. With me and you, we'll have these guys in the scrap yard in no time."

Sally: "Sigh… Your cocky attitude is infectious… If you must know-"

Sally and Sonic switch suddenly as Sally quickly rushes the Heavy Shinobi, conjuring another shield on her feet before bouncing off the ninja Egg Robo, the impact exploding and pushing him back quite a ways. Heavy Magician uses her illusionary tactics to split into three copies, but Sonic's speed and Spin Dash defeats the clones and knocks the real one to the ground.

Sally: "I learned some new tricks. I can now conjure barriers for myself. And from where I learned that, I brought Julie with me!"

Sonic: "The pink echidna? Not gonna lie, she looks like she could kick anyone's butt just by glaring."

Sally: "She's tough alright. And smart."

The duo swapped opponents again, Sally jumping over Sonic as he Spin Dashes under her, smashing into the Heavy Shinobi with the force of the attack whilst Heavy Magician is met by a punch, a roundhouse kick, and being sent back by Sally's barrier, knocking the magician to a wall with swirls in her eyes.

Sonic: "Nice! With friends like those, who needs to be flashy?"

Sally: "You should stop being so flashy."

Sonic: "You love it."

Sally: "As if~"

The two just smile as Sally gets into a fighting pose before Julie and Tails join, outnumbering Heavy Shinobi, who just looks at them with fear.

Heavy Shinobi: "Uh oh… Um… Time out? Pause? Other words that go with 'Stop' so I can be spared?"

As the heroes stare down the robot, a pillar of light shoots up between them, causing the heroes to jump back as they see Heavy King step up to the plate.

Heavy King: "Enough."

Sonic and the heroes see the Heavy King approach before the leader slams his scepter on the ground to establish his authority.

Heavy King: "Your little play time ends here. While I do not care for my brethren's mannerisms, I will not tolerate them being humiliated by you lot."

Sonic: "Oh, so the big guy has come to play. Neat! 'Course, it's one against four, bub."

Tails: "Things are stacked against you. Just surrender before we destroy you!"

Sally: "From one royal to another, Tails is right. Know when to give up and leave."

Heavy King glares at the Mobians before his aura explodes out, pushing the air around him away like a storm, obscuring the Mobians' vision and blowing Heavy Shinobi onto the exterior wall of the Metallic Madness base.

Heavy King: "Such foolish drivel. You think such idle threats will affect me? You'll soon see why… I am called Heavy King!"

Sonic: "Alright. Don't say we didn't warn you!"

Sally: "Everyone! Attack!"

Sonic and his friends dash at the robot, Sonic immediately jumping to slam into the Heavy King with a Spin Jump. But he is grabbed and by the empty palm of the king. Tails comes in from above and starts spinning his tails, ready to slam them onto his foe. The Heavy King, not looking at all impressed, simply unleashes a bolt of lightning from the orb of his scepter. Tails is forced to fly away before he's struck. Sonic tries to struggle out of the robot's grip, but he's instead slammed into the ground by the Heavy King, who then unleashes a small pulse of energy to send Sonic flying back from the attack.

Sonic: "Ugh… Okay… I don't think he was blowing steam when he was boasting… Guy is leagues above his own troupe."

Sally: "Julie!"

Julie: "Just like we practiced!"

Julie quickly jumps high in the air, above the Heavy King, soon aiming her gun at Sally.

Sally: "That scepter… It's gotta be the source of his power… Break that and we can turn the tides."

Sally conjures a shield on her arm as Julie fires her gun, sending a blast directly onto the shield before it bounces off and at the Heavy King. But the robot quickly jumps up and starts floating above where he stood. In fact, he was very quickly in Julie's face, surprising her before her face is grabbed and he tosses her back to the ground. She bounces off the ground a couple of times, dropping her gun as she hits the ground.

Sally: "Julie!"

Heavy King: "An impressive tactic, princess. However… I am not so easily fooled by such gambles."

Sally: "Tch…"

As the Heavy King floats above the ground, he notices a hole where Sonic was last. He scans the area for the blue rodent, but doesn't find him anywhere. The ground behind him gets disturbed and splits apart as Sonic jumps out, grabbing onto the cape of the king before jumping over him.

Sonic: "Yo, metal tyrant! This is a no flying zone for you!"

Sonic then curls up and immediately slams his body onto the Heavy King, knocking the robot back to the ground. However, the hedgehog was caught again by the Heavy King's empty palm before he's tossed towards Sally. Sally conjures a barrier, blocking Sonic's flying and stopping his momentum.

Sonic: "Thanks, Sal!"

Sally: "Don't thank me now! What do we do about this guy?"

Heavy King: "Don't bother trying to fight a battle you cannot hope to win."

Sonic: "If you think for a second I'm just gonna give up… You don't know me as well as you think."

Back within the base, Amy and Tekno were wrecking the base from within, destroying machines and robots alike. The pink hedgehog, wielding her two hammers, smashes through the next set of doors before she and Tekno ran down the hall.

Amy: "Is this enough destruction for this big base? I feel like I've been swinging my hammers forever now."

Tekno: "You're right. I think it's about time we try and destroy the core. If we can overload it, we might be able to-"

Amy's ears twitched before slamming her hammers down to lift a part of the floor to use as a shield as a laser blast hits it. Tekno peeks from behind to see the small stature of Omelette, holding her laser that she used on Sonic back on South Island. The robot girl glares at the duo with a very angry scowl.

Omelette: "...You two really picked a bad time to tick me off… And you know what? I hate being ticked off…"

Amy: "Yeah, well. We hate being prisoners. Maybe give us a nice room for us and stop turning innocent worlds into factories and we'd leave you alone."

Omelette: "This was supposed to be a present for Papa! Me! Capturing West Island! Destroying the enemies that caused him grief! And build his army with my perfect minions! And you… That blue hedgehog… All of you are ruining my big day! I'll… I'LL GET RID OF ALL OF YOU FOR THAT!"

Omelette starts firing away at the duo, causing Amy to push Tekno behind cover before running to the side to avoid the blaster shots. Amy bounces off the wall, jumping over Omelette and swinging her hammer at the robot girl, but narrowly missing as Omelette dodges. But Omelette does drop her gun as she slides away, which Amy crushes under her foot.

Amy: "Hah! No gun, no problem!"

Omelette: "...Oh? You think so?"

Omelette smiles before a red glow is seen behind her glasses. Her chest opens up as two thin robot arms come out, one ending in a buzzsaw while the other had a drill.

Omelette: "I'll dissemble you!"

Omelette then ran at Amy as she swung the buzzsaw arm at the pink hedgehog, slicing the floor as she tried to cut Amy. Amy was keeping her distance before she tosses her hammer at the robot girl, bashing Omelette to a wall. But the girl didn't stay down as she rushed at Amy again.

Amy: "That's right. Focus on me, you twerp."

Amy smiled as she saw Tekno was gone, meaning she went off to find the core of the base and do what she needed to.

Back outside, the fight with the Heavy King continued as the robot sent energy orbs out towards the heroes, which Sonic dodges while Sally blocks with her barrier. Tails tried to outrun it, but was hit by the energy orb, causing him severe damage. Julie tries blasting her's, and succeeds, but the resulting explosion caused unfortunate damage to her blaster and cybernetics as they started to spark.

Julie: "Darn it… My cybernetics can't take another one of those…"

Sally: "Sonic. I hate to seem like the bearer of bad news, but…"

Sonic: "Yeah. I noticed. We're in a bad position right now."

Heavy King: "As to be expected. Fools like you should know your place. Especially when faced against someone of superiority."

Sonic: "The only thing superior is you talking the talk and not walking the walk."

The Heavy King glares down at Sonic over this before raising his scepter, ready to conjure another attack.

Heavy King: "Maybe you'll see things my way… Once you see your friends as ashes on the ground!"

Heavy King then fires two laser blasts from his scepter, one at Julie, the other at Tails. Sonic and Sally immediately jump into action; Sally runs to Julie's side and conjures a barrier to block the laser aimed for the echidna, but could only barely hold it as the laser proved much stronger than she realized. Sonic moved to pick up Tails, but realized he had no time to move him to safety. Seeing no other choice, Sonic chose to intercept the laser head on. An explosion seemingly engulfed both Sonic and Tails as Sally and Julie look on in horror.

Sally: "S-Sonic!"

The Heavy King slams his scepter down before looking at where Sonic and Tails stood, satisfied that he destroyed them both. That is until he saw arrows fire toward him and hit his scepter's glass orb, but not break it unfortunately, much to his shock.

Heavy King: "What!? Who dares!?"

The Heavy King turns back to the explosion, only to realize the explosion had not gone away. Looking deeper into it, he saw… it was a fire barrier, casted by a black cat in a purple robe standing in front of Sonic and Tails.

Sonic: "Wh-Whoa… Wicked!"

Agatha: "Are you unharmed?"

Sally looks on as she saw Sonic and Tails unharmed, breathing a sigh of relief.

Voice: "Princess!"

Sally's ears perk up as someone hops out of the trees and lands in front of her. It was Rosie, now equipped with her trusty bow and quiver.

Sally: "Rosie! You're okay!"

Rosie: "Nevermind me. Are you okay?"

Sally: "Of course. Nothing's going to keep this princess down."

Agatha approaches Tails and uses her magic to heal the fox, allowing him to jolt awake, feeling re-energized.

Tails: "Wow! What happened?"

Sonic: "Hey! You good, buddy?"

Tails: "Yeah, I am."

Tails then sees Agatha, immediately blushes before bowing in apology at not acknowledging her.

Tails: "O-Oh! Sorry! I didn't see you there!"

Agatha: "Oh it is fine. As long as you two are unharmed."

Sonic gets a good look at Agatha before realizing something…

Sonic: "Hey… You're that cat lady from the Death Egg. One of the prisoners."

Agatha: "Indeed. Glad you remembered me. Though we can discuss matters like those… after we've dealt with this fiend."

Agatha brings down her barrier as the Heavy King glares at her. Sonic looks to Tails with a serious look.

Sonic: "Hey. Go give Julie a hand. She needs some kinda genius to help her tech parts. You get what I'm saying, bud?"

Tails: "Leave it to me!"

Tails then ran in the background, going to Julie's location as the remaining fighters stepped up to face the Heavy King.

Heavy King: "So… More foolish creatures have come to try and face the might of the Heavy King. I don't know whether to claim it as courage… or reckless abandon."

Sonic: "How about you just call it what it is… Being a hero."

The Heavy King scoffs at such a sentiment before his cape waves in the wind as he sends fires lasers at the ground trailing toward Sally and Rosie, forcing that duo to split. Rosie rolls out of the way before jumping and pulling back her strong as she got her bow ready. Sonic rushed toward the robot, only to get predictably caught.

Heavy King: "Have you not learned?"

Sonic: "Nah, I did. Which is why I had someone backing me up."

Agatha then appears suddenly from Sonic's shadow, lightning sparking in her palm as she slams a shockwave onto the robot, sending him back quite a ways from the force. Sonic is let go as he lands on the ground, revs up another Spin Dash, then speeds toward the robot, slamming into his chest, sending him flying off the ground and towards a nearby resort building, causing it to collapse.

Sonic: "Nice one, lady! I bet that woke him up!"

Agatha: "Never underestimate my natural talents."

The Heavy King, however, was not finished as the rubble he was buried under explodes in his rage. Rosie then fires her arrow, aiming for the spot on the scepter she hit earlier. But the king wised up to the tactic and quickly moves his scepter aside to avoid the arrow before firing energy orbs at the woodchuck while she was in the air.

Sally: "Sonic!"

Sonic turned towards Sally as she ran up to him. With a nod, Sonic got into a handstand, reeling his legs back as Sally jumped onto his feet. He then lunged his feet out, springing Sally into the air and towards Rosie in order for her to block the incoming attacks and save her. The two land back onto solid ground shortly after before Rosie sighs.

Rosie: "Ugh… Thank you, Sally… But since when could you conjure barriers?"

Sally: "Since yesterday. Long story. For now, focus on this guy's scepter."

Tails, meanwhile, was helping Julie with her cybernetics, repairing them as quickly as he could.

Julie: "Huh. You're pretty good with this kind of tech. And without any tools too."

Tails: "Years with Uncle Chuck meant a lot to me. And I aim to try and be as helpful as I can be."

Julie's arm soon starts working as she flexes it a bit. She then picks up her gun as she checks for damages.

Julie: "I have an idea. But I need you to relay it to that woodchuck over there. You mind?"

Tails: "Oh! Yeah, I can!"

The Heavy King floats back onto the battlefield before glaring at the heroes with anger. Sonic, Sally, and Agatha got into a fighting stance before Agatha quickly sends a wall of sand at the robot, causing him to fire a laser to destroy the wall. Upon destruction though, Sonic comes from behind the wall and slams a kick on the head of the Heavy King, knocking his head back as Sally rushes in. She crosses her arms before slamming her shield onto the robot, the impact sending a wave of energy that sent the robot flying back, but not as far as before with Sonic. As Rosie was drawing back her bow, Tails approaches her in order to whisper Julie's plan to her. The Heavy King stands back up before sending several energy orbs at Sonic, Sally, and Agatha. Sonic starts to slide and jump over his, with Sally joining him as they rush the Heavy King. Agatha, meanwhile, uses her magic to catch the energy orbs, taking their power as she begins to think.

Agatha: "...This energy… it's from a Time Stone… Has something happened to the Miracle Planet…?"

Agatha turns to the Metallic Madness base before shaking her head; one problem at a time she thought to herself before rushing to the Heavy King to assist Sonic and Sally.

Within the base, Amy and Omelette continued their fight as Amy continued to dodge the buzzsaw and drill trying to kill her.

Amy: "Not to cut to the chase, but this is not a drill. You oughta give up!"

Amy then sees an opening as Omelette stabs her drill into the floor, getting it stuck. Amy immediately jumps at the buzzsaw arm and slams her hammer onto it, breaking it to pieces.

Omelette: "My buzzsaw! NO!"

Amy: "And for my next trick…"

Amy swings her second hammer, sending Omelette flying across the room, her drill arm breaking off as she is sent flying. Omelette lands with a grunt, slowly standing up as she shakes her head to get rid of the dazeness she was feeling.

Omelette: "You pest! You absolute stupid pest!"

Amy: "Wanna just give up now? I can play nice as long as you don't try and resist."

Omelette then gives a slasher smile before pulling out two more arms from her chest, this time having laser guns.

Omelette: "I always carry a backup!"

Amy: "Okay, seriously! What's your fascination with lasers, girl!?"

In the control center of the base, Tekno runs in and quickly dismantles the robots guarding the area with her sharp feathers. Once that minor distraction was dealt with, she accesses the main control terminal of the base.

Tekno: "No core, huh? Well that'll make things harder… But maybe… Maybe I can just shut down the base instead. I can't destroy it… But I can at least make it so that it never causes problems again."

Tekno starts typing on the control terminal, typing away at it as fast as she can.

Sonic, Sally, and Agatha continue their fight with the Heavy King, starting to gain the advantage as they each used quick movements and hard hitting attacks to begin knocking him down. Of course, unlike him, they were beginning to tire.

Heavy King: "Hah! The advantages of being a robot. I never tire… But you three… are running out of ENERGY!"

The Heavy King slams his scepter, sending a wave of energy to blow the trio away and cause them to crash down. Rosie was pointing her arrow at the Heavy King's scepter. With a deep breath, she lets loose the arrow, letting it fly at her target. The Heavy King sees this and moves his scepter aside.

Heavy King: "Trying to provide support? I don't think so."

A gunshot is heard from behind as a laser blast hits the scepter, but doesn't smash the orb on top. The robot turns, seeing Julie on her feet and having fired her gun at the scepter's orb, weakening it more.

Heavy King: "How dare you!"

Tails: "How dare us? Yeah, we certainly dare!"

The Heavy King looks around for the source of the voice before looking above, seeing Tails coming in, smashing his tails onto the scepter's orb, though getting electrocuted by the resulting release of energy, causing him to hit the ground, hurt.

Heavy King: "My scepter! You… little… runt!"

The Heavy King tosses his scepter away, getting ready to smash Tails on the spot. But Sonic then rushes in, slamming into the robot and knocking him off balance. Agatha then follows up by firing a low sweeping wave of energy, knocking the king into the air, where he sees Sally run up from the side of the base and jump off once she was high enough. She readjusted herself in mid air before coming down with a swinging axe kick, slamming onto the robot with enough force to shake the entire island, as indicated by the waves of the ocean going away from the island. Sally jumps off after the Heavy King was thoroughly down for the count, but upon landing, she realizes her leg got injured by the impact as she limps a bit.

Sonic: "Sally! You okay?"

Sally: "I-I'm fine… Check on Tails! I'm more worried about him."

Tails: "I-I'm okay… Surprisingly… I braced myself for that result… But I am a bit numb now…"

Agatha: "This battle took a lot out of us… And yet we still have that flying fortress to deal with…"

Sally: "Urgh… We still have to try something… If we quit now, the island's in danger."

As the group discussed what to do next, the floating Metallic Madness base… suddenly drops to the ground. With a hard slam and the lights of it starting to turn off. The group looked on with confusion… before seeing a figure get slammed out of the side of the base and fall onto the ground. It was Omelette, the head of operations. Following was Amy Rose, who sighed as she gets rid of her hammers.

Sonic: "AMY!?"

Amy: "Huh? Sonic!"

Amy jumps for joy before immediately running up to hug him, very happy to see him.

Amy: "Oh Sonic! I'm so happy to see you! …Why do you look so worn out?"

Sonic: "Um… Long day. But what are you doing here?"

Amy: "Me and Tekno were captured from Never Lake Island and trapped in a capsule. Thanks to Tekno though, we escaped and wrecked the place. And she disabled that stupid fortress too!"

Voice: "She's right about that!"

Tekno soon flies out of the hole in the base that Amy made, descending down to the rest of the heroes before landing, giving a 'Sup?' gesture.

Tekno: "Hey, prince. Hope you're doing well."

Sonic: "I wish you'd stop calling me 'prince'... You know I hate that."

Tekno: "And I love teasing you with it."

Omelette soon twitches, causing those that noticed to get on guard, which had the rest turn to give the girl robot their attention.

Omelette: "My… Hard Boiled Heavies… My Metallic Madness base… All ruined… RUINED! All… ALL BECAUSE OF YOU FREAKS!"

Omelette stands back up, her arms limp as her body sparks and twitches, like it was on its last legs. Sonic glares at her, though does has empathy for her as he speaks.

Sonic: "Just give up, Omelette. You can't win and there's no point trying. Your elite squad lost, you have no more robots to rely on. You've lost."

Omelette just starts to giggle, then burst out laughing. Her sanity had just cracked, laughing so maniacally that it even caused Sonic to reel in cringe.

Omelette: "I… 'lost'...? No… I refuse to lose again… I refuse to lose again… I hate to lose… I hate losing. I hate it. I hate it so much… I hate… hate… hate hate hate hate hate HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE… HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE…it."

Omelette lifts her head up, showing her lifeless eyes and her sinister smile, showing that she's completely lost her mind.

Omelette?: "Model 0M313TT3 disabled. Mental stability at… 0.02%. Transferring mental core."

The sudden change from an insane little girl to an emotionless robot was… quite jarring for Sonic and his friends. Then they see Omelette's body just completely go limp, as if she had just died. But just as that happened, they heard a sound from the Metallic Madness base. A fist comes through the wall of the base's bottom section before it is ripped open as a large mech steps out. This mech being the same one that Amy and Tekno fought when they first entered Metallic Madness, just shortly after losing Vespa. The mech walks up to the heroes, slamming a foot onto the old body of Omelette to solidify her "death".

Ome-Supreme (Omelette's Voice): "I'll… kill… ALL OF YOU!"

Sally: "She's… She's lost her mind…"

Sonic: "Understatement of the century."

Ome-Supreme glares at the heroes before her eyes glow then fire lasers towards them, forcing them to jump back before they are hit. Rosie and Julie start firing their projectiles at the robot, but the arrows and blaster shots bounce off, not even leaving a dent on the robot.

Amy: "Don't try that! Me and Tekno fought this thing before; it's got some seriously hard armor!"

Sonic: "Anyone got any ideas!? I'm open for any!"

The mech slams a foot to the ground in order to send a shockwave to the heroes. Sally and Tails are knocked away due to their condition, causing them to hit the ground hard.

Agatha: "I might have one, but I'll require some help. Blue hedgehog, can you create a sandstorm!?"

Sonic: "Need to lead this thing closer to the beach, but sure!"

Agatha: "Alright… Pink one! On standby, we'll need your strength for the part after!"

Amy: "Got it!"

Sally and Tails soon get up, rubbing their heads before seeing the robot stomp over towards them.

Sally: "Oh crap… She must see us as easy prey!"

Tails: "Hold on!"

Tails quickly grabs Sally and flies away as Ome-Supreme slams her foot where they were, missing them as the fox flew them away from the robot. Julie and Rosie fired at the robot more in order to get her attention, with Tekno flying up and taunting the robot.

Tekno: "Hey, you called us a bunch of freaks? Well, at least we didn't resort to using some giant robot like a wuss!"

Tekno almost gets fried by the robot's eye lasers in response to her taunting before firing those eye lasers again at Rosie and Julie, following them towards the beach and away from Sally and Tails. The trio acting as the distraction, leads Ome-Supreme to the beach, where Sonic took over by launching him up the leg of the robot and slamming himself onto the chin, giving her a hard uppercut.

Sonic: "Hey, tall, dark, and angry. Haven't forgotten about me, have you?"

Ome-Supreme: "Oh no. I haven't. You… You were the one to start my troubles in the first place!"

Ome-Supreme slams her feet onto the ground multiple times in a tantrum, screaming loud enough to distort the air around her as she stomped angrily. Sonic was able to avoid the ensuing shockwaves before quickly kicking up a sandstorm around her by running around her, enveloping her in a sandstorm.

Agatha: "Alright… My turn! Fire STORM!"

Agatha's eyes glowed with magic energy as she sends fire from her hands, creating a tornado of fire around the sand thanks to Sonic's wind tornado. This resulted in Ome-Supreme being frozen in a thick layer of glass from the sand and fire mix.

Sonic: "Whew! That's what I call sculpting."

Agatha: "Eh. I've made better. Amy! Smash this eye sore!"

Amy: "You got it, kitty lady!"

Amy materializes a larger than normal hammer as she runs from her spot, jumping towards the base's outer walls in order to run on it, building up more speed, before jumping off that and towards the frozen Ome-Supreme. With a spin, Amy slams her large hammer right onto the robot with such force, causing pieces of the robot to fly off as she is sent flying back, tripping on a small building to fling her into the air before landing hard on the ground, sparking from her injuries. Once it seemed to be over, the group cheered happily, Tails and Sally cheering from the air while Rosie ran to hug Agatha from how happy she was.

Sonic: "And that's how it's done! Awesome teamwork everyone! And Amy? Love the hammer."

Amy blushes as she starts to sway with a bright smile on her face. But as they cheered, a sound causes them to cut their celebration short… Ome-Supreme, with a broken arm hanging by wires, rises from her spot on the ground. Her face was contorted from the impact of Amy's hammer, the right eye completely shattered, and pieces of her just fell off as she struggled to stand and stay up.

Amy: "You gotta be kidding me!"

Rosie: "She's very persistent…"

Ome-Supreme: "Will… kill… you… Will… kill… you…"

Ome-Supreme had been reduced to simple muttering as she stomped her way over to the heroes. Agatha was so exhausted from using so much energy, she was panting hard, and Amy was sweating bullets. Sonic could recognize everyone was too tired to keep up anymore of a fight. They were so close to beating this robot, but it seemed like the will to kill them kept her moving.

Voice: "That will be quite enough, Omelette."

A voice sounds from some kind of speaker. Ome-Supreme hears the voice before turning to find… the top torso of a black robot. Large claws on the robot with cannons on the palms, jets on the bottom of the torso, and a distinct bit of white text saying "E-101". The voice from the robot was clearly not its own; rather it was Jenni's.

Jenni: "I see… So the little bit of AI in you still has some sentience after all."

Sonic: "Jenni? Is that you? What kind of robot is…"

Jenni: "All in due time, Spike. Just leave the rest to me. But… Let me first tell you all… I am very proud of all of you. You all came together, worked together, in order to defeat these mighty foes. Some of you don't even know each other, but you still helped out against a group of common foes. You all have done fine work, both in helping my island… And helping each other. So let me finish this one off; you all have done enough."

Sonic looked up at the robot before sighing and smiling, winking at the robot.

Sonic: "Hehe~ Fine. But no more stealing the spotlight, okay, Jen?~"

Ome-Supreme: "You… YOU! You… humiliate me…! You… left me… in the ocean…! I will… sink… your… ISLAND!"

Jenni: "No. I don't think you will. Honestly, you and your sister's invasion on my island have opened up my eyes. That being passive will not keep my brother away. That some changes need to be made. So… As head of development and research on West Island… Starting today, this means war against my brother Ivo and his empire."

The robot extends its hands by Jenni's command as it starts charging up energy in its cannons. Ome-Supreme starts charging up energy into her remaining eye before firing. The black robot fires its own energy blast, splitting Ome-Supreme's before piercing through the much bigger robot's, leaving a sizable hole through the left remaining eye.

Jenni: "Now… Stay off my island."

The Ome-Supreme falls over, completely limp and finally lifeless as it impacts the ground. The battle was finally over. The heroes all give a collective sigh as they soon see the sun rise on a new day, the nightmare finally ending.

Sally: "...So we managed to save a kingdom… There… may finally be hope for my kingdom then…"

Sonic: "Oh there is, Sal. We'll free it… One day… When we're ready…"

West Island began to cheer as they saw both the Robotnik Empire robots flee and the West Island defense robots falling over due to their AI being disabled. Ebony and Ivory, who were helping with the Casino Night evacuation, hugged each other, believing their mother had beaten the monster in the nightmare; Aleena and Uncle Chuck both sighed from off the island with the residents of the Emerald Coast Resort cheering at their victory, happy to see everything calm down. Nicole sat in her cyberspace, alone, reflecting on her actions and how they caused this invasion in the first place. Remorseful, she only had Jenni's voice to help calm her down. At the West Island Correctional Facility, a figure walks out of the burning prison with a black, jagged dagger. He finds a boat before escaping the island, but with two things on his mind - reuniting with his group… and finding and killing Snively for his betrayal. As one saga ends with cheers and hollers of victory, not all are cheering or celebrating… but instead planning for their next move…

Robotropolis Citadel, the main lab. Sage, after a close encounter with an angered Jennifer in cyberspace, returns, panting and sweating as half her body was just… gone. Of course, her body was slowly regenerating thanks to the data of the Citadel, but she was angered.

Sage: "C-Curse that… foolish woman…"

An Egg Robo nearby is called out by Sage's shouting as she glares at it.

Sage: "You! Where is Father!? Has he at all woken up!?"

Egg Robo: "No, ma'am. But the one called Metal Sonic had left for parts unknown. He destroyed a robot who asked for his coordinates."

Sage growls before standing and vanishing to the pod where her Father was supposedly rebuilding himself in. She then had an arm bang on the pod.

Sage: "Father! Wake up! You've had more than enough time to rebuild yourself! Father!"

Voice: "Must you be so loud, Sage? Don't you know your dear old Papa is never one to be down for long?"

Sage pauses as she hears the voice. She then turns before seeing Eggman on a collection of monitors, smiling as he tugged onto his mustache. She was shocked at first before looking angry.

Sage: "Father! Where are you, if not in there!?"

Eggman: "Where else? In the Mt. Robotnik Base, planning my comeback. Oh, and thanks for being a sweetheart and keeping those foolish heroes off my trail as I built my newest project in peace."

Sage: "What? What do you mean?"

Eggman: "Oh let's just say that I was watching your performance at West Island. I'd have stopped you… But then those fools would be coming here and disturbing my work. So instead, I just let everything just happen."

Eggman says with such nonchalance that it greatly annoyed Sage. She glared at Eggman as she calmed down, almost disturbingly, though this didn't seem to do much to Eggman.

Sage: "...Then Omelette's death…?"

Eggman: "Death? Ohohoho! She's a robot, Sage. She can't 'die'. Rather unfortunate that I have to spend time rebuilding her, buuuut… Oh well. She's at least useful enough to consider it."

Sage: "...I see…"

Eggman: "Anyway, thanks for the new robot as well. I'll be sure to use him to the fullest extent. Be sure to keep the Citadel nice and warm for me when I get back. Ohohoho!~"

Eggman cuts communication as Sage just stares at the screen, frozen with a whole collection of emotions swimming around her. But then, the programming in her mind that kept her loyal to her father kicks in… and deletes those emotions. Whatever she was feeling… was silenced as she returned to being deadpan. She then turned away, leaving to fully recover her form…

Author Update: Will be taking a small break from this story for a little while since I need time to prep the next series of chapters and see where I wanna go (and if I want to add Superstars to it). Also will probably be moving to A3O until Fanfiction gets its act together, as I am no longer recieving updates and my email seems to be "rejecting" them. I have no idea how to fix that and their instructions haven't been updated to reflect that. So if I don't update this story here, check A3O.
