Chapter 31: Abduction of the Antagonist
"I shall not fall to an insignificant creature like you," Aizen said while staring at him with his eyes filled with anger.
The next moment, Aizen started to release an extreme amount of spiritual pressure and it seemed as if he was about to evolve one more time. The black material was slowly disintegrating from Aizen's body while even Orkos had to stop his assault on him for the time. However, before it could get out of hand, a powerful push from Ichigo and Ulquiorra stopped that transformation in between. This time Ichigo was using the energy of Getsuga Tensho around his blade to make his sword swing more powerful while Ulquiorra had summoned two spears made up of his green spirit energy, one in each hand.
Now Orkos stared at both of them and then he asked Ichigo, "What is this form?"
"I am a Vizard," Ichigo looked back at Orkos and replied.
"Yes, you seem to be a Vizard but why are you using your Mask with Bankai?" the black humanoid asked further.
"What do you mean?" Ichigo questioned him confusingly.
"Hollow Mask is incompatible with the Bankai… the most it grants you is a boost in your spirit energy," Orkos responded.
Ichigo was utterly shocked to know this and he couldn't help but ask almost immediately, "What do we use with the Bankai then?"
"A form of a Hollowfication," the black humanoid replied.
Both Ichigo and Ulquiorra were greatly shocked to know this new information. Orkos looked at them and said further, "I know about Hollows as well… I know that Segunda Etapa is not the final stage, there are forms even beyond it."
Ulquiorra's eyes widened to know that while Urahara was listening to their conversation carefully and suddenly all of them got shocked upon sensing the rise in Aizen's spiritual pressure once again.
"I must thank you for providing me with enough time to get rid of this dark matter of yours while engaging everyone with that valuable information," Aizen said to Orkos while coming towards them with his spiritual pressure healing his body and repairing his clothes.
Now both Ichigo and Ulquiorra began to attack Aizen vigorously with their respective weapons while the Shinigami in white also decided to respond using his sword swings. All three of them began to receive major and minor cuts through their weapon clashes but Ichigo and Ulquiorra suffered severe damage in comparison to Aizen who hardly received any minor cuts. Suddenly Sesshomaru, Urahara, Byakuya, and Uryu attacked the white fiend with Azure Dragon Wave, Nake Benihime, Sokatsui, and Quincy Arrows respectively while at the same time, Ulquiorra launched his Lanza del Relampago toward him.
Aizen cleverly pushed Ichigo in the direction of everyone's attack using a powerful sword swing grabbing the green energy spear which Ulquiorra shot at him. Ichigo tried to shield himself by summoning the Getsuga Tensho at the last moment and it seemed that he almost got saved but Aizen hit him with Lanza del Relampago from behind pushing him further into the clash of energies, causing a massive fiery explosion of spirit energies which completely immobilized Ichigo.
"You all should accept the fact that you can't defeat me… resign to your fates," Aizen spoke while taking a fighting stance with his sword.
"Shukei Hakuteiken, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi… someone must take Ichigo out of here," Byakuya muttered as he unleashed his ultimate technique.
"I will," Uryu replied.
Now Uryu took Ichigo out of the chaos from the explosion and swiftly rushed towards Urahara's Shop while Orkos, Sesshomaru, Ulquiorra, Byakuya, and Urahara prepared themselves to fight against Aizen but everyone got shocked when a long blade penetrated his torso from behind.
"I am back… Captain Aizen," Gin spoke while keeping his blade through his torso.
"Hado 88, Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho!" Urahara muttered while releasing a gigantic beam of electrical and spiritual energy.
Before the white fiend could reply anything, Gin pulled his blade back from his torso and immediately got away using the flash step in order to avoid the powerful beam shot by Urahara. That beam turned into a huge fiery explosion upon hitting Aizen and the entire surroundings got filled with fire and smoke. Now Gin once again used his extendable blade to pierce Aizen's belly and push him out of the fire and smoke caused by the explosion. The Shinigami in white was struggling to take the blade out of his body.
"What's wrong Captain Aizen? Your injuries from my blade are not getting healed, isn't it?" Gin said with a cunning smile on his face.
"What have you done, Gin?" Aizen asked angrily.
"This is the effect of poison in my blade… usually it destroys the cells in the body but since you have Hogyoku with you, this is the most it can do," Gin answered him.
Now Sesshomaru, Byakuya, and Urahara began to walk towards Aizen to seize him before he could get away from Gin's trap but suddenly everyone including Aizen felt paralyzed by an unimaginably powerful spiritual pressure. It was coming from the massive dimensional crack that was forming very high in the sky right above their heads. It was looking exactly similar to those dimensional cracks that infernal demons had used so far while the spiritual pressure that shook everyone also seemed to be of an infernal demon. The next moment, an average-sized meteorite overflowing with demonic energy appeared from that red portal and fell right between Gin and Aizen. It caused a devastating fiery blast that blew both of them far away from their location while setting a huge area on fire. Gin was lying motionless in bad shape while his Zanpakuto was shattered into pieces. On the other hand, Aizen was on his fours and he seemed to be critically impacted by this explosion as he was having a hard time getting up on his feet.
Suddenly a man landed beside crawling Aizen with a huge rosary in his right hand and unconscious Yin and Yang on his left shoulder. He was an immensely powerful infernal demon, nothing like those who had invaded the World of the Living so far. His spiritual pressure was making even Aizen and Orkos feel uncomfortable to be around him. He seemed to be an aged man with a bald head and a big beard but his physique was muscular and well-built. He had four small red horns on top of his head and a symbol containing four squares in a diamond formation on his forehead. He was wearing a rosary of big purple beads on his neck, charms on either side of his chest, Japanese warrior-like armor on his biceps, and forearm guards similar to other infernal demons such as Dodomeki. His claws were looking metallic and extremely sharp while there was an opening right below his chest with demonic teeth on its border and a red crystal in the middle. He was wearing hakama pants, with a Chinese-style waist cloth on his right leg, both the hakama and the clothing having gold embroidery. In place of shoes, he was wearing a heavy metallic version of Japanese wooden slippers. In his right hand, he was holding a huge rosary made up of twelve very large red and black beads with gold embroidery on them. That massive rosary was his weapon and it was almost half of his body size.
Now he threw unconscious Yin and Yang toward Orkos along with their clothes. Orkos quickly rushed to check on them and he was filled with anger upon looking at their condition. He said to that infernal demon in an aggressive tone, "That wasn't decided between us… Phantom."
"Don't worry… they are not harmed but what were you expecting from the infernal demons after sending your girls to us," Phantom replied.
"Orkos, you have certainly proven that your deceitfulness knows no bounds," Sesshomaru said to him in his usual cold tone upon noticing that the black humanoid was working with infernal demons.
"Don't judge me! I am doing everything that is required for the survival and ascension of Hollows in this world… you have already helped me break the first seal 50 years ago, just wait until the second seal is gone and then you and Halibel will understand my true intentions," He replied him.
"Enough talks… let me get rid of all the pests around before the main task," Phantom spoke while making his huge rosary levitate in front of it. Suddenly a portal appeared in the centre of his rosary and he discharged three powerful orbs of fire infused with demonic energy towards Urahara, Byakuya, and Ulquiorra.
At first, Urahara used the Nake Benihime technique but the fire orb of Phantom easily destroyed it. Now the Shinigami in sandals and hat attempted to block it using his Blood-mist Shield but that fire orb not only destroyed his shield but also scattered the defence of his Bankai energy which he had set up on his body. Urahara got blown by the powerful fiery blast of demonic energy. On the other hand, Byakuya took off using his wings of Shukei Hakuteiken and collided with the fire orb heading his way with as much power as he could. That collision caused a devastating blast which inflicted significant damage not only on Byakuya's body but also on his form. Meanwhile, Ulquiorra was able to parry the fire orb in the safest manner by simply launching his green spear of energy towards it which engulfed it into a colossal explosion upon collision.
Now Orkos shot a big load of his black material towards Phantom and trapped him completely while he was still standing beside Aizen. The white fiend immediately took advantage of the situation and stabbed the old and powerful infernal demon in the torso with his sword. The next moment, Aizen felt a powerful rush of spirit energy inside Phantom and thus he backed off to a safe distance immediately upon sensing an incoming burst of spiritual pressure.
"Orkos… do you want to break our treaty? If yes then so be it!" Phantom roared and then he shot five orbs of ice infused with his demonic energy towards Orkos, Aizen, Sesshomaru, Ulquiorra, and Byakuya.
Orkos tried his best to escape the effect of that ice orb by launching the tentacles of his black material toward it but eventually, it froze him completely. Aizen launched a powerful burst of his purple spirit energy towards that orb and eventually destroyed it on its way. Sesshomaru tried to counter it using his Azure Dragon Wave but the beams of his demonic energy couldn't destroy the orb completely and eventually, he ended up frozen. Ulquiorra shot Cero Oscuras towards it but he realized in time that it was not enough to evade it and thus he shot another black Cero towards it with his other hand, destroying the orb with his dual Black Ceros. Byakuya on the other hand was already weakened after tanking the fire orb and thus this time he couldn't save himself from getting frozen. After some time, the black material of Orkos found its way out of the ice and eventually, Orkos took over the ice itself. On the other hand, Bakusaiga's energy reacted to the demonic ice of Phantom, and eventually, the ice got weakened enough that it was breakable for Sesshomaru with his sheer strength. Meanwhile, Byakuya abandoned the Shukei Hakuteiken form in his frozen state and thus the release of a large number of petal blades eventually freed him from the ice. However, both Sesshomaru and Byakuya had fallen significantly weak because the demonic ice had decreased the level of their spiritual pressure. Byakuya's condition was especially bad because he had almost fallen unconscious due to the lack of spiritual pressure.
"It is the time to end this," Phantom muttered while holding his giant rosary with both hands and then stretching it forcibly.
Suddenly an immensely powerful beam of white demonic energy rushed towards Ulquiorra with an unimaginable speed and before the Cuatro Espada could think of anything it blew him far away from his location with a powerful white blast. Ulquiorra not only lost his Segunda Etapa upon the impact but he also lost his consciousness. Upon watching that scenario, Sesshomaru held both of his swords in front of him, summoning immense thunderbolts along with two gigantic dragons made up of thunderbolts. It was looking like the initiation of the next level of his Dragon Strike. However, before the Daiyokai could launch it toward Phantom, the latter again stretched his rosary and released a similar beam of demonic white energy which not only disintegrated the two swords into multiple pieces but also blew him away with a powerful explosion of energy and thunderbolts.
Now both Orkos and Aizen prepared themselves after witnessing the condition of Ulquiorra and Sesshomaru. On the other hand, Phantom seemed to stretch his rosary a bit more than needed this time. His rosary snapped while the beads fell on the ground. This utterly puzzled both Orkos and Aizen but the next moment, the infernal demon pointed his palm towards the Shinigami in white, and suddenly the beads vibrated before they captured Aizen by sticking around his chest and torso, reforming the rosary around him. The moment Aizen got trapped in the grip of Phantom's rosary, his spirit energy began to leave his body at an exponential rate and soon he fell on his knees upon getting weakened by the loss of spirit energy.
Now Phantom slowly walked towards Aizen and asked Orkos, "So, what's your stand now Orkos? You still wish to stand against us?"
"No… I apologize for my act, do not break the treaty…" the black humanoid mumbled in a low voice and humiliated manner.
"That's good that you learned your lesson in time, I will overlook your childish attempt to attack me," the infernal demon replied to him while punching Aizen's face, "you already know what it means to stand against us," he added after making a bloody mess on Shinigami's face.
"Hmm…" Orkos responded and then he simply picked both Yin and Yang in his arms along with their clothes.
"Let's go Aizen!... Some of your friends are already waiting for you in the Koshi Castle," Phantom muttered as he carried Aizen along with his huge rosary as he entered the colossal dimensional crack in the sky.
"One day, I will make all of you pay for what you did to Yin and Yang," Orkos murmured while looking at the portal.
Some other location in the Fake Karakura Town…
Homura and Shizuku had arrived at the location where Tosen's body burst while he was having his last conversation with Komamura and Hisagi. His blood was still splattered all over the rubble where he was lying in his final moments. Now Homura took out a golden jewel from her clothes while Shizuku muttered upon noticing it, "I didn't know that Lord Orkos also possesses the power of reviving anyone back from the dead.
"He has no such powers, Shizuku…" she replied to him.
"What do you mean? Then how we were able to revive Luppi, Dordoni, and Cirucci using that golden gemstone of Lord Orkos?" Shizuku asked with immense curiosity.
"Are you remembering the gemstone that Lord Orkos gave to Sesshomaru so that he can find the death locations of the Espadas?" Homura asked him.
"Yes, what about it?" He asked.
"Leading Sesshomaru to the death locations of Espada wasn't its only ability… it's another ability was to replicate the powers its carrier is using and then store that power for the later use," she answered him.
"Ohh…" Shizuku was shocked to know this.
"Sesshomaru revived Aaroniero Arruruerie, Szayel Aporro Granz, Zommari Rureaux, and Nnoitra Gilga while carrying this golden gemstone but after reviving Nnoitra he discarded it due to his suspicion. That's how this stone acquired the power to revive four beings back from the dead who are part Hollow and part Shinigami. We have already used it to revive Luppi, Dordoni, and Cirucci… thus, only one more we can revive with this and that would be Tosen," Homura explained to him everything while staring at the gemstone with a grin.
After knowing this, Shizuku was quite surprised and he also admired the abilities and strategy of Orkos. Now Homura used that gemstone on the dried blood of Tosen and soon he got resurrected.
"Who are you two? What did you just do?" Tosen asked them with immense confusion upon finding himself revived.
"We work for the true Lord of Hueco Mundo, Lord Orkos who is also the first Hollow ever born… and we have revived you back from the dead in order to recruit you to our team," Homura replied.
"Revived me back from the dead… yes, I felt it… I was talking to Komamura and Hisagi when I… Aizen killed me…" Tosen mumbled but stopped upon remembering what actually happened.
"Don't worry… we will provide you with the opportunity to take revenge on both Aizen and the Soul Society," she responded to him.
"There is no need for it… I no longer seek any revenge either on Soul Society or Aizen. I spoke to Hisagi and Komamura in my final moments and I was relieved to be able to have that conversation with them. I was at fault since the beginning by working for Aizen and I paid its price with my life… thus, I have no regrets and I do not seek revenge on anyone," Tosen replied.
"Shizuku…" Homura signalled him.
The next moment, Shizuku slashed Tosen with his scythe from behind, destroying his memories of those final moments in which he died and in which he spoke to both Komamura and Hisagi.
"Now he is ready to work with us… carry him to our hideout, we will wait for Lord Orkos before making our next move," Homura said to Shizuku.
