It was a beautiful day at casa de Rivera the sun was shining and Miguel had just woken up he turned around to face the beautiful face on the other side of the bed. He looked at his Amor her eyes were shut and she was sleeping peacefully Dios he loves His Mira and he could stare all day. But he knew he had to get up and start his day.
So he knocked on his daughters door to see if she was awake. He slowly walked up to his daughter and Noticed her sleeping peacefully. Then he saw a rustle Of bed sheets and slowly but surely a little girl at the age of 4 popped out. She had messy black hair and sleepy hazel eyes.
"Morning Papa". She yawned
"Buenas Dias Luna Mi hija". Miguel smiled
She gasped when she realised what day it was. Miguel smiled seeing his daughter's face of realisation.
"Happy valentines Papá ". She hugged Miguel tight
"Happy valentines Mi Amor". Miguel smiled
"Are you going to surprise Mamá today?" Luna asked
"Si that's Actually why I need your help. I have a special job for you We are going to surprise Mamá with breakfast in bed how does that sound?" Miguel asked
"Si". Luna Starts excited
"Buena Mija . Now get dressed and meet me downstairs bien?" Miguel asked
"Si". Luna Replies
With that Miguel closed Luna's door and got dressed himself and went downstairs but not before quietly opening the door and giving his Wife, His whole world, His Amor a kiss on the forehead.
He was met Downstairs by his Mother and daughter with his sister in the workshop.
"Buenos Dias Mamá ". Miguel smiled
"Morning Mijo i heard from a little birdie this morning your making Mira breakfast in bed". Luisa states
"That we are". Miguel replies
"Okay just make sure you don't burn the hacienda down Okay we all know what happened last time". Luisa laughed.
"We won't". Miguel rolled his eyes and Luna Laughed.
So with that Miguel and Luna worked hard to make some delicious Arepas and some fresh orange juice. Enrique came down and looked at his son and granddaughter and the mess they had made.
"Good morning Mijo, Mija need any help there?" He asked
"Si". Luna piped up
"Bien you can come help with the dishes por favor". Miguel asked
"Of course ". Enrique nodded
"Wait we are missing something!!" Luna Exclaimed
"Que Mija ". Enrique asked
"Bluebells they are Mamá's favourite don't you remember?" Luna looked closer at the tray
"I knew I forgot something !" Miguel stomped his foot Enrique laughed.
"Okay how about this I can go into town with Tia Coco, while Papá and you clean the bench it looks like a mess". Luna pointed to the bench.
" Agreed ". They said
~~~ In the workshop ~~~
"Hola Tia I was wondering if you would help with something?" She asked
"Sure What is it love." Coco replied
"Well me and Papá are going to give Mamá a beautiful breakfast in bed, but Papá forgot the bluebells so I was wondering if you and I could go to the flower shop to get some?" Luna asked
"Sure Darling just let me grab my purse and bag". She replied
So with that she grabbed her purse and they went into town.
~~~ In Town~~~
"What about these sweetheart?" Coco asked
"No they look wilted". She replied
Just then Luna spotted the perfect ones bright blue in colour and sparkling in the sun.
"These, These are perfect Mamá will love them". She announced
"Okay if you're sure". Coco Nodded
"Absolutely ". Luna reassured
"We will take these Señor ". She nodded to the stall owner.
"Perfect choice señorita may I ask who these a for?" He asked
"They are for my Hermana in law . My brother and my niece want to surprise her ". She smiled
"Okay here you go all nice and wrapped up". He handed the flowers to Luna.
"I hope she likes them señorita ". He politely said
"Me too Gracias Señor ". Coco and Luna thanked
"Anytime". The stall owner waved
~~~ Back at casa Rivera ~~~
Miguel was talking to his Father. When his daughter and sister came back with the perfect bluebells to finish the breakfast tray.
"Got them Papá". Luna announced
"Si perfect Mija ". Miguel smiled
"She wanted to find the perfect ones". Coco laughed
Miguel smiled mouthing a 'Gracias' to his Hermanita In which she smiled back.
"Ready Mija ". Miguel said
"Si Estas listo". She replied
So with that father and daughter raced upstairs to surprise Mirabel. Enrique and Coco smiled and hugged each other.
"Mira's going to be surprised when she wakes up". Coco starts
"You can say that again". Enrique finished
~~~ Upstairs ~~~
Mirabel woke up with excitement and happiness. Something was off putting her Husband was not there with her. She was just about to go downstairs to check when she heard knocking at the door.
"Come in". She said trying to hold back a yawn.
Then In came her Luna and Miguel with smiles on there faces. Miguel held a breakfast tray and Luna was holding some beautiful flowers in her hands.
"What's all this Amor". She asked Miguel
"Papá and I thought since it's Valentine's Day and you have been working so hard with Tio Bruno and Tia Isabela Lately we thought you might need this". Luna Exclaimed
"It's true you have been working hard Mi Corazon". He agreed
Mirabel placed a hand over her heart. She was grateful to have a beautiful family who cared so much for her. Luna had learned to be kind and courageous as she is growing up. Miguel her Amor de Mi vida her world was just as kind, generous and protective and loved her with all his heart.
"Que Mi vida?" Miguel asked
"Nada my Love". Mirabel shook her head
"So do you like it Mamá?" Luna Asked
"Like it I love it Thank you Mija". She replied Luna then hopped on the bed and cuddled her and prepped her with kisses and gave her a little tickle so she'd laugh. Then she turned to Miguel he bent down held her hands placed a kiss on her lips and whispered 'I love you' which made her cheeks burn red , he smiled and laughed.
Miguel then put the tray on her lap and her eyes widened at what was on it. Arepas and freshly made orange juice the way her Mamá used to make them.
"You made this". She looked surprised
"Si I got the recipe from Mamá ". Miguel nodded
She then took a bite and her eyes widened it tasted delicious. Mirabel had to admit they were pretty good.
"So how did I do?" Miguel asked
"Amazing They taste just like home ". She took a sip of the juice
"Wait Luna did you and your Papa make sure to clean up the kitchen before you came up here I don't want any mess". She spoke in a serious tone.
"Si Mama ". She laughed
Then Luna passed her the flowers she got and Mirabel smiled.
"I got bluebells your favourite ". Luna said
"Darling you didn't have to". Mirabel put a hand to her chest.
"No I wanted to". She replied
She hugged her Amors tight and both placed kisses on there foreheads and they laughed.
"Te quireo my loves". Mirabel said
They smiled and returned the hugs and kisses. That reminded Mirabel that she had gifts for them so she got them out from her bedside desk draw and place them on the bed.
"Huh?" Both Luna and Miguel looked confused.
"Mamá what's this?" She asked
"Open it sweetheart ". Mirabel said
So Luna followed her mother's instructions and inside was a beautiful handmade dress with Butterflies stitched across the top and a gorgeous orange flow down the bottom.
"Wow Mama this is amazing Muchas Gracias I love it". She hugged her tight.
"Your welcome Mija". She replied
Then she turned to Miguel with a knowing look on her face she asked him to pick up the box and open it. He opened it and inside was a beautiful white guitar pin with a specially made strap since his other one was too small for him.
"Wow Mi Amor this is beautiful ". She kissed him on the lips passionately he kissed back and then they pulled apart and laughed.
Then Luna spoke up:
"I was wondering what if we all go on a picnic today just us". Luna suggested
"That sounds like a great idea Mija". Miguel smiled
Mirabel smiled and nodded. They each got dressed and went downstairs and were greeted by The family some were in the workshop and some were in the kitchen .They were talking then they packed up the picnic basket full of fresh food and headed to the Plaza hand-in-hand.
~~~ In the Plaza~~~
"Ah here's a good spot". Miguel said pinpointing down the spot.
Mirabel and Luna sat down cuddling each other.
"Papá can you play por favor ". Luna pleaded
"Any requests?" He asked his daughter.
"How about besame mucho Mamá 's favourite. Mirabel smiled at her daughters request.
"As you wish Mija". Miguel smiled
And he started to play the first cords and sing:

Luna smiled at the two singing along and how romantic she thought it was and how her parents were so head over heels in love with each other.
Once the song finished The family began dancing in the Plaza with Mariachi we're singing. Luna jumped around and twirled in her parents arms. She then played tag with her mother and father and she loved running around and messing with them.
Luna asked for one more song before they headed home.
"Oh and what's that señorita?" He laughed
"La Llorona por favor like Mamá Imelda does it". She requested
"Okay But only if you sing along with me". He asked
"Of course ". She replied
She then began singing:

Mirabel danced and twirled. Miguel watched with starry eyes as both his girls sang and danced.

When the song finished. Little Luna fell asleep in Miguel's arms and Mirabel picked up the picnic basket and walked hand in hand with her Esposo. Soon enough they reached home so Miguel put little Luna down and kissed her on the forehead and put her to sleep got dressed and met his wife in bed and snuggled her thanking his lucky stars that she was with him and he could not be more grateful.
Mirabel thought the same she was so lucky to have him in her life a kind young man who knew exactly what he wanted but also was there to protect his family at all costs and she loves it she loves that he cares for her more than ever.
It was official this was the best Valentine's Day she and Miguel had ever had.
