AN: welcome my lovelies to a beautiful one shot that I came up with in the middle of singing . This is a modern century one shot with Miguel and Mirabel travelling to the land of the dead whilst trying to get Mirabel and Bruno back home to the Encanto this is a cute little one shot . I might put it in Melodies.

As Miguel and the others were talking he suddenly smiled and Noticed His Mirabel was humming a little tune to keep Herself occupied while walking. Dios he really loves this girl.

"Miguel ,Miguel, MIGUEL". Hector repeated

Miguel shock his head out of thoughts and looked at his Tarta Abuelo with concern.

"Hm? Lo siento". Miguel shook his head

"Que paso mijo estas bien you seem out of it. Are you feeling ok?" Héctor looked at his Ninos eyes with concern.

"Si si I am fine". He answered quickly

Then Héctor looked to where Miguel was looking at . Then it hit him and pretty soon he had a goofy smile spread across his face. Imelda and Coco looked to see what Héctor was up to and laughed.

"Que?" Miguel asked and then looked at Héctor's Face and then hit him.

"Oh no no no I know that look your planning something ". Miguel looked scared

"You Underestimate me mijo". Héctor Laughed

"Your in love I can see it your eyes ". Hector states

"How could you not when you look at her. Mirabel means the world to me she's perfect. She's Mi Amor ". Miguel stated dreamily

"I get it Mijo your giving the same look I gave your Mama Imelda when I first saw her". He sighed

"Really?" Miguel questioned

"Si she was perfect and forever is perfect to me she has more determination then I will ever have". Héctor replies

"It's not just her beauty Papá Hèctor . Her kindness, her confidence and oh that singing voice I could listen to her all day". Miguel said starry eyed

Héctor looked at Imelda and Coco and they looked back gave him the nod. Then Imelda came up from behind.

"Go for it Mijo if you love her at least make an effort ". Imelda pushed

"Ay no I am too nervous ". Miguel shivered

Imelda laughed at how much her great- great grandson reminded her so much of her husband. Then Coco came from behind and hugged him tight.

"Miguelito your in love take the chance and do what you do best". Coco exclaimed

"Which is?" Miguel asked

"Ay Ay Ay do we have to spell it out for you." Imelda shook her head

"Music Mijo serenade her She'll love it every girl does". Imelda starts

"Says the woman her married a musico ." Miguel rolled his eyes

Imelda was trying so hard to not grab her boot and smack some common sense into him. Hèctor just laughed.

Coco then pushed her grandson over to where Mirabel was . She was talking to her Tio so just before he went to go back Imelda gave him a stern look that said it all.

Bruno then noticed Miguel and gave him a wave the hand.

"I-i-I'll just go I be over if you need Mariposa okay?" Bruno states

"Okay Tio ". Mirabel replies

Bruno walked away not before Miguel got an overprotective look from her Tio which to be honest was more like a 'if you hurt I am going to kill you' look.

"What you doing?" Miguel asked which made Mirabel jump

"Dios Miguel you scared me". Mirabel jumped

"Lo siento Mira I didn't mean to". Miguel put his hands up in defence

"Estas bien Musico ". Mirabel replies

He loved it when she called him that it was one of the things he loved about her. Any little nicknames she called made his heart explode.

"Not much just looking at the Estrellas and thinking about home". Mirabel looked sad

"You miss them don't you." Miguel's face deflated

"Si I do very much". Mirabel looked defeated

"Well I think I know what will cheer up". Miguel lights up

Miguel looks up at the stars and starts to sing:

"City of stars

Are you shining just for me?

City of stars

There's so much that I can't see

Who knows?

I felt it from the first embrace I shared with you".

Mirabel looks confused at first but then she starts to look at him and smile and start to sing.

"That now our dreams may finally come true".

"City of stars

Just one thing everybody wants".

"There in the bars".

And through the smokescreen of the crowded restaurants".

"It's love

Yes, all we're looking for is love from someone else".

As they were singing they looked into each other's eyes and never stopped staring. Mirabel felt her cheeks warm up. Everyone else was looking at the two and put a hand over there loved ones. Alma and Pedro were looking at Imelda and Héctor and they silently laughed and smiled.

As they heard the lovely singing continued

"A rush, A glance, A touch , A dance".

"A look in somebody's eyes to light up skies to open the world and send it reeling".

As they continued singing Miguel spun his Amor around wishing he was hers for even just a moment their worlds had collided like fate. Mirabel looked into his eyes and saw the person she was looking for her whole life. For a moment she forgot about the Encanto and everything else and just focused on what she wanted.

"A voice that says all be here and you'll be alright ".

As Miguel looked eyes into Mirabel's his whole world. She was his whole world , his Amor his life, his beacon of light.

"I don't care if I know just where will go".

"Cause all I need is this crazy feeling ".

"A rat- tat – tat on my Heart".

"I think I want it to stay".

They laughed and Mirabel leaned her head on Miguel's shoulder she felt safe in his arms. Miguel looked up at the stars and held his love close.

He sang the last lines of the song

"Think I want it to stay".

"City of stars

Are you shining just for me?"

"City of stars

You never shined so brightly"

She looked at him dreamily and for a second she thought she a twinkle in his eye. Then she kissed him .

"What was that for?" Miguel questions

"Nothing just wanted to try something ". Mirabel blushed

"Forget I said anything ". Mirabel rambled

Miguel kissed back passionately and with love she was his everything.

"Wow". Mirabel breathes

"Mira I love you you mean the world to me and I'm so glad I found you you give me this Life that I thought I never had before". Miguel stated

"I love you too Miguel so much". Mirabel replies starry eyed

The rest of the Family looked at them with such admiration and love they couldn't be happier for the two of them.

Miguel and Mirabel spent a couple of minutes passionate kissing and looking at the stars together they couldn't be more happier and for a second all they didn't care about the responsibilities they just cared about being in each other's arms safe and warm.
