Te amo: Miguel x Mirabel
AN: Hello and welcome back my lovelies. This story happens a few years after Melodies. Where Miguel pops the question to Mirabel I HAVE HAD THIS IN MY HEAD FOR A LONG TIME.

Mirabel was in her room reading a book just enjoying peace and quiet. When her Butterfly Alebrije Came In and handed her a letter from Miguel. This had been going on after she left with Her Tio to go back to the Encanto and they were still so in love. This had been going on for four years and she never got tired of it.
Miguel had bonded with Mirabel's family over the time he visited, He'd show Augustín how to chop wood properly without hurting himself, he'd help cook in the kitchen with Julieta when she needed it. He'd show Dolores how to play the guitar. Camilo and him would play tricks that he got taught when he was little. But Bruno was a different story It had taken him a while to crack that nut but when he finally did he would bond with him over Telenovelas and even give him a few ideas.
But most of all he'd love spending time with his Amor His Mirabel. They would go out into town and help the kids at the orphanage. Take riding lessons, but most of all he and Mirabel loved to dance and sing. Sometimes in town when he visited he and Mirabel would dance like nobody was watching and wouldn't stop until late hours of the night came upon them.
This week however was a little different he'd asked Mirabel's male relatives an important question and they were happy and gave him their blessings . Next he went to his mother , father and sister and told them.
The last stop was the land of the dead . So he knocked on the door and Coco answered. He had double checked he had it in his pocket and thankfully it was there.
"Miguelito Oh Mijo what a nice surprise ". Coco hugged him
His whole family turned their heads at the mention of Miguel. They went up to hug him tightly and Accepted them with love.
Alma and Pedro were also there and they turned there heads.
"Oh Mijo what a surprise we weren't expecting you today ". Alma said with a smile on her face.
"Yes Nino what are you doing here?" Pedro asked
"Actually I wanted to ask something do you know where Papá Héctor is?" He asked
"He is in the other room". Imelda pointed to the room down the hall.
"Gracias Mamá Imelda ". He ran down the hall.
"What do you think he's up to?" Oscar asked
"No idea". Felipe finished
Miguel ran to Héctor and Imelda's room and knocked.
"Come in". Héctor yelled
Miguel enters and Héctor immediately puts down His guitar and goes to hug the boy. Miguel hugs back tightly .
"Mijo this is unexpected what's wrong your shaking". Héctor guided Miguel to the bed and they sat down.
"I need to talk to you". He said sounding urgent
"What about?" Héctor asked
"Well I .." Miguel stopped
"Yes ?" Héctor pushed
"I am going to ask Mira to Marry me". Miguel spat
Héctor just sat there in silence for a little while and stared. Until he finally spoke.
"W-w-what?" Héctor stood shocked
"I am going to ask Mirabel to Marry me". He repeated
"No I know I heard you that first time". Héctor shook his head
"Wow . This is wow are you sure Mijo?" Héctor asked
" I have never been more sure in my Entire life". He replied confirming
"I just wanted to show you the ring to see if it's perfect". He said
With that he pulled out a white box and inside was a Dimond ring with two small teal coloured jewels on the other sides with little engraved Mariposa.
"Well… What do you think ?" Miguel asked Héctor who was still looking at the ring with widened eyes.
"I think it's perfect she is going to love it ". Héctor smiled
"Verdad?" Miguel questioned
"Si I know she will". Héctor hugged Miguel
"You did talk to Augustín right?" He asked
"Si". Miguel replied
"Now I just have to talk to the Grandparents ". Miguel prayed it was going to be easy.
"Don't worry Mijo I will be right here". He patted Miguel's back
~~~ In the living room ~~~
"What is it Mijo?" Alma asked
"Well I have gathered you all here to ask you something ". Miguel stated shaking
Héctor saw him shaking and put a hand on his back to comfort him.
"As you know I have been courting your granddaughter and I love her so very much ". Miguel stated
"And well…" He stopped
"Yes?" Pedro pushed him to continue
"I was going to Ask for your blessings to Marry your granddaughter ". He declared
Alma and Pedro sat down still frozen in their spots. Miguel's family are shook especially Coco she had tears of happiness. Miguel got slightly worried since no responses were coming.
"Well.. I -I -I we didn't expect that". Alma studded
"Certainly not". Pedro replied
"I just want you to know that I love your Granddaughter very much and I wouldn't do anything to hurt her". Miguel exclaimed
It took them a moment to process everything . Pedro looked at his wife before speaking:
"Si you have our blessing welcome to the family Mijo". Pedro said
Pedro and Alma went over and hugged him tight. Miguel let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding.
He showed them the ring and they all gasped.
"It's beautiful Mijo she'll love it. Oh I can't believe I am going to have a great -granddaughter in law". Coco announced
"Yo se". Miguel smiled
~~~ Later in the evening ~~~
"Camilo how many times have I told you stop ripping your ruana otherwise Tia will cremate you". Mirabel yelled
"Lo siento Prima ". Camilo apologised
Just then Bruno knocked on her door.
"Come in Tio". Mirabel said
"How's My Mariposa?" He asked
"Bueno although I haven't heard from Migue this Morning do you have any idea what's up". Mirabel asked
"No". Bruno answers
Dolores was by her door and he signalled for her not to say anything. She had a smile and walked away.
"Are you sure you won't want any help?" Bruno asked
"No Tio Estas bien". Mirabel smiled
Bruno nodded and walked out and closed the door.
Mirabel began folding the family's laundry when her Butterfly alebrije came in , A note attached to her wing.
She stopped folding and went over to Lily and detached the note.
"What's this Lily?" Mirabel asked her Butterfly.
The Butterfly just chitters in response and flys away.
Mirabel opens the note Inside was A bluebell. Then she read the note
It read:
Mira,
Come meet me at our special place there is something I want to show you, just know that I love You very much.
Amor,
Miguel
Mirabel was smiling from ear to ear so she left the laundry on the bed left a note for her family and got dressed in A gorgeous teal coloured dress with flowers and Mariposa and left.
~~~Meanwhile with Miguel ~~~
"Okay Miguel you can do this". He hyped himself up.
He had everything ready candles bluebells, He was shaking but then he reminded himself of his Mira and how much he loved her.
Then he saw his Amor walking and Dios she'd looked beautiful he'd give anything to kiss her right now.
"Hola Guapo I have been wondering where you have been". Mirabel laughed
"Well Can't a man just sing with the woman he loves". Miguel smiled
"He can". Mirabel smiled
"Sit ". Miguel pointed towards the picnic blanket set out.
He picked up His guitar and sat down next to his Mira and started to sing:

As Miguel sang he couldn't stop staring in to those big doe eyes. He couldn't help but think how much he loved her.
"Te amo, ¡y más!

Amor más que amor es el mío y lo siento".
"Amor más que amor es el tuyo y presiento
Amor más que amor es el nuestro".
"Si tú me lo das".
As Miguel finished the song Miguel looked at Mirabel and placed a gentle kiss on her lips and smiled.
"That was Beautiful Mi Amor ". Mirabel smiled
"Not as beautiful as you". Miguel said as he put The guitar down and got on one knee. Mirabel sat there shook .
"Mirabel you are so many things to me, kind , quirky and optimistic but none of those things compare to your heart it is full of love and I am so very happy to be in your life. I couldn't imagine my world without you in it". Miguel stated with all his heart.
Héctor and Imelda were watching from up above smiling down. Alma was crying tears of joy and Pedro holding her tightly.
"Miguel…" she stopped
Then Mirabel continued:
"I love you very much your saw me not for the Miracle but for me and saved me but…" she stopped again
"Why me?" She asked
"Because you mean the world to me I don't know what I'd do without you in it. Mira you are unlike anyone I have ever met, you have more strength then I will have so I will ask again : Mi Amor Mirabel valantina Rojas Madrigal will you Marry me? He asked
She jumped into his arms and hugged him tight.
"SI!!" She screamed
Miguel then put the box down and put the ring on her finger. Then picked her up and twirled her around passionately kissing her. He spun her around in his arms and kissed her yet again.
From up above the Rivera's and Madrigals were cheering and hugging. They were going to be a connected family.
"Te Amo Mucho Miguel para siempre". Mirabel whispered
"Te Amo Mucho Mirabel para siempre ". He kissed her and twirled around.
The rest of the night was spent eating, dancing and talking and both Mirabel nor Miguel would have it any other way. All that matters right now is that they love each other from now until forever.
