I have to say, when I was looking through my list of prompts, I could see the NCIS characters in this situation, so here we are. :) I hope you enjoy.

Ziva watched as Gibbs led the criminal away from where they had caught him. Next to her, Tony was taking pictures and McGee was collecting the papers Clive Arnold had dropped. Ziva was holding two flashlights, one pointed in each direction for Tony and McGee.
"If we don't follow Gibbs, we might never get out of here," Tony said as he packed up the camera and began helping McGee pick up the papers.
"Tony?" Ziva asked. "You saw Gibbs walk off with Arnold, right?"
By the look on his face, she was going to assume that he had not noticed. Then McGee looked up from grabbing the last of the papers, his face even paler than Tony's.
"You mean we're stuck here, in the middle of a corn maze, in the middle of the night?"
Tony grinned at McGee. "No, we'll make it out. We can just retrace our steps."
McGee glared at him. "You have more optimism for this than you should. Again, I say that it's dark. It might be better to wait for Gibbs to come back and look for us. Surely he would notice us missing soon, right?" Then he looked down to make sure the papers Tony had handed to him were stacked the right way.
When he looked up, he saw one flashlight on the ground and the other with Ziva and Tony's retreating figures.
"Hey! Guys! Wait up!" He yelled, picking up the flashlight and chasing after the pair, trying desperately not to trip on any corn husks that were strewn across the ground.
"I thought you were going to wait for Gibbs, McScaredy cat." Tony said once McGee caught up to them.
"I still think it's a better idea than running willy-nilly around the entire maze and getting even more lost," he snapped back.
"If you two are quite done," Ziva cut in. "I think I might be able to retrace our steps and get us out of here.
Both men gave the other a look that clearly said 'this wasn't over.' However, they did quiet down and fell in step behind her.
Leading the way with the flashlight trained on the ground in front of her, Ziva had to admit, following their footsteps from earlier would not be as easy as she had been hoping. Countless people had walked through the maze that day alone, and footprints were hard to distinguish from each other.
The more that they traveled, Ziva trying to focus on the ground, the men began arguing more. Multiple times Ziva had lost track of the footsteps they were tracking and snapped that she was 'so close to leaving them behind to find their own way out of the maze.' Each time she snapped at them, Ziva got five minutes of peace and quiet before they started up again.
It was slow going. Even if Tony and McGee had not been arguing, and even if she had more to guild herself by than a flashlight, Ziva knew they would not be going any faster.
Then, when they were fifteen meters from an intersection, a large gust of wind blew among them, chilling Ziva and causing the papers McGee was holding to be blown out of his hands. One of them blew further than the others and Ziva raced to catch it.
When the wind died, the paper Ziva was chasing laid to rest right next to the corn. As she bent down to pick it up, Ziva was quite surprised when someone grabbed her around her middle and pulled her into the corn stalks. When she turned around, she was even more surprised to see the person was Gibbs.
"What are you doing, Gibbs?" She asked. "And where is Arnold?"
Gibbs shrugged. "Got him loaded into an ambulance and off to the hospital. Then I realized that I'd lost you three."
"Why did you pull me into the corn?"
"I thought it might be fun to scare DiNozzo and McGee as a sort of a prank. Am I right that you're the only reason they're actually getting anywhere?"
Ziva nodded. "I myself am having problems distinguishing our more recent footprints opposed to all the others from the entire day."
Gibbs nodded. "Well, how long do you think it'll take them to notice you're gone?"
"Hey, McGee?" Tony's voice wafted between the corn stalks. "Where'd Ziva go? I thought she was going after that one paper, further up the path?"
Then they heard McGee answering. "I don't know. She should be there." There was a pause, then he continued speaking. "Wait, is that the other flashlight?"
"Did Arnold have an accomplice?"
"Ducky said that Arnold would be one of the last people to ever have an accomplice, he's too independent. Besides, Abby didn't find anything from his cell information."
"Gibbs, if we let them go on like this, we will be here all night," Ziva complained.
He nodded. "Yup."
"So will we be doing anything to them?"
Gibbs didn't respond as an owl took off from a scarecrow, sending gusts of air across the maze and making the corn stalks rattle against each other, making Tony and McGee jump.
"It sure is creepy out here," Tony said.
Just as they were turning around, Ziva leaned a little too close to the edge of the corn and stumbled forwards onto the path. She recovered quickly, though, and sprinted across the path.
"What was that?" McGee asked, shining his flashlight at where Ziva had run.
Tony also shone his light at the same spot. "Maybe the maze is haunted, Probie. Maybe it took Ziva, and wants to take us next!"
Ziva couldn't help but laugh at Tony's words. However, she was unable to keep as quiet as she had hoped and the agents heard her. To them it was probably the wind whispering as though laughing at them.
"Tony, the maze is not haunted," McGee stated with certainty as he walked towards where Ziva was hidden. "I think Ziva is playing a prank on us."
Then Ziva was pulled from her hiding spot by McGee. Tony looked shocked, his shock grew, however, as Gibbs strode out of the corn on the other side.
"You masterminded this, Boss?" Tony asked. "I didn't know you had it in you."
Gibbs rolled his eyes, starting to walk away. "If you guys lose me again the three of you will be fending for yourselves in this maze."
The three agents quickly scrambled to follow him, not wanting to risk getting more lost in the maze that night.
