Chapter Eleven
The Caseys Celebrate Two Years – Part One

December 6th, 2018
He had a secret plan, a plan to give his beautiful wife an anniversary to remember; after all, it's going to be the last one which they can ever celebrate like this. Their last anniversary which they can celebrate alone without having to worry about (a) finding childcare, or (b) having to worry about a sick baby/kid that they won't want to leave with his mother-in-law. But today (and for the next couple months), they had no need to worry about that; as today, they just need to concentrate on each other as they celebrate two years of marriage (with a couple surprises). And while it may not be two years of wedded bliss, Matt's still incredibly happy that they're still married, which is why he also believes that, if they deserved to celebrate any anniversary…then it would be this one. I mean, you couldn't tell based on how happy they are right now, but the past six months have been hard on the both of them…and it made Matt wonder each and every day whether they would get to this day. Get to two years of marriage, or whether they'd be divorced.

But thankfully, he and Gabby are still married; they're still married on this special day, their second wedding anniversary. A day which will start with a beautiful surprise for the love of his wife. And well, Matt already has a couple surprises up his sleeve to show his wife just how much he truly loves her; not that he plans on revealing them to her, as he has no plans to do that. In fact, you aren't even going to know about them until they happen as they all depend on how Gabby is feeling. After all, Matt already told her that she can just take it easy today; while he takes care of her and does everything she needs him to do, which is anything that involves getting out of bed. Today, she's his queen; hell, she's his queen every day. But today in particular, on the day of their wedding anniversary; he's going to make sure that he really treats her like this queen. In fact, he even had to change his plans for her (more on that later). First, how about we explain WHY Matt had to change all the plans he had for him and Gabby today, which was as Gabby had a bad night.

Something that she ate yesterday just didn't agree with her stomach, which is why she just wants to take it easy today; especially since it was like night and day after they had supper last night. Before they ate, Gabby wanted him in bed; she wanted him to make love to her, until they ate supper. Afterwards, she just started to feel like hell; so, he decided that they weren't going to make love (regardless of the fact that Gabby offered to go ahead and try even though she felt like crap). Then, it really started to hit her just how bad she felt, which led to her telling Matt that under no circumstances were they making love, which was more than okay with Matt as he just wanted her to rest today. However, it seemed that Gabby was starting to feel better when she woke up this morning; in fact, she even told him that she wanted him today. So, they made a compromise. They weren't going to make love to each other tonight (when she was tired), but they MAY (he isn't sure yet) make love to each other during the day…which is something he actually really likes.

He likes it because Gabby won't be as tired, compared to when they try and make love to each other at night; plus, it also means that they need to wash each other at some point after making love to each other. And that's precisely what they're going to do, when they take a nice, romantic bath with each other. A romantic bath that will calm her down immediately, and which he already knows she'll love; so much so, that she may even want to take a couple romantic baths with each other with the aroma baths which Matt already pre-ordered for today. And just thinking about the idea makes Matt smile, as he knows that it's truly going to be perfect; today is going to be a perfect day, because it's going to be a day full of love…followed by a night of intimacy and comfort rather than sex. And that day of love starts right now, as he prepared to surprise Gabby; a surprise which was already working as she didn't even think he was home after he told her that he may go for a run this morning, when he really didn't. Rather, he went to the grocery store.

And while he was there, he got fresh fruits and vegetables to make delicious food for her. Food made from healthy, natural ingredients which his beautiful wife will most certainly love more than anything (with the exception of him and their baby) in the entire world. And that's the exact reaction which Matt already knows he's going to get from Gabby, as he can feel it in his gut. However, there's only one way to be certain about how she feels about his first place, and that's to make his way into their room so that he can give her first anniversary gift to her; and no, you didn't read that wrong: multiple anniversary gifts. Matt actually has 2 other gifts for her. And in his opinion, she's going to love the ($1,400) diamond goal charm bracelet which he bought for her the most; the charm bracelet which had two things engaged in the back: (1) XII – VI – MMXVI…which is their wedding anniversary written in roman numerals; the day which their lives became one. For the rest of their lives, they're going to be one as this is the life that they're going to share forever.

There's just no day where Matt doesn't believe that he's going to be married to Gabby for the rest of their lives, which is why he got her a diamond gold charm bracelet with two engravings; the other being "Te amo in aeterum", which is Latin for "I'll love you forever." And, of course, there's also a charm on there for their little girl. Yes, it's been confirmed; they're having a little girl. So, he got her a charm that was pink with the name Bella Jane on it; that's going to be their daughter's name: Bella Jane Casey. So, no changing their daughter's name now. Though, he has no doubt in his mind that they will change it; they just love the name so much, almost as much as Gabby's going to love the massage he plans on giving her today. That was another part of her gift, a nice massage which he planned on giving her; one using techniques which he found online, as he already knew that her back is going to need a massage at some point today. And it'll be after she takes a bath alone, part of the bath bomb set that he bought for Gabby. After all, he customized the set.

He customized the set so that he was guaranteed to have a set which included a bath bomb which can help you relax, and that's precisely what Gabby needs to do; she needs to relax and take it easy, while they get nice and romantic with each other. After all, that's precisely what Matt wants to do with Gabby today: he wants to get romantic with his wife, and that's precisely what he plans on doing today. He's going to get romantic with the woman of his dreams, just not yet as he has one quick gift to give to Gabby which he (almost) forgot to get her. And just what might that be? The traditional, romantic flowers that you get; and those would be roses of course, two of them to be precise. He got her a pair of roses, one for each year of marriage which they're celebrating today; roses which he's positive Gabby is going to enjoy the moment she seems them after he wakes her up. And just how does Matt plan on waking Gabby up this morning? Well, that's easy: he plans on waking her up by sitting next to her on their bed and kissing her.

At least, that was his original plan; but the truth was, Gabby was already awake.

Matt's POV – Part 1:
As I walked upstairs and into me and Gabby's room this morning, I smiled at the sight of my beautiful wife of two years sitting up in bed as she watched some TV. Well, so much for my plan to kiss Gabby and wake her up this morning; and so much for me making sure that she just takes it easy and relaxes as she wakes up, though that doesn't mean that I'm not going to make sure that she continues to relax as that's precisely what I plan on doing. She's not going anywhere right now, as I want her to stay right here and just take it easy; while I go make us the breakfast she's going to love, right after I get my good morning kiss. And that's exactly what I'm on my way to get right now, as I walked into our room with the roses I bought for her. The two red roses. "I think that I'm going to need to do a bit of apologizing this morning." Turning her head to look at me as I walked into our room, Gabby smiled as she placed her hand on her stomach; after which, she shook her head while sitting up more. However, she did it a bit too fast (in my opinion); so, I made sure to tell her to take it easy. "Hey, take it easy baby; especially since you aren't feeling the best." Gabby agreed, smiling at me.

After which, she apologized. "Sorry about that." Shaking my head, I sighed as that was the last thing I wanted to hear her say; I didn't want to hear her apologize when she had no reason to apologize for not feeling good. "Hey, don't you dare apologize for not feeling good baby. I just want you to take it easy if you aren't feeling good right now. And maybe, if you're feeling better, we can go out; but for now, we can just stay here and take it easy." Gabby agreed with me, smiling as I made my way over to her with the roses. "I can only assume that those are for me?" I smiled, agreeing with Gabby as she asked me whether the roses are for her, as they most certainly are. I mean, who else would I get roses for? So, I decided that I would make my way over to her so that I could give them to her, which I did the moment I sat down on the edge of our bed, while also looking at my wife. And based on the look on her face the moment she grabbed the roses, I could see something was wrong. "Everything okay?" Gabby bit her lip, before looking at me. After which, she decided to just be honest with me. "Only two?" I smiled. "Two roses, for two years of marriage." Gabby snickered.

After which, she went to smell them as she looked at me. "So romantic." I smiled while agreeing with Gabby, before moving close to her and placing my hand on her neck; afterwards, I leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. After all, that's precisely what I want to do right now, I want to kiss my wife now that we were together again. "I love you." Gabby smiled and agreed with me as I told her that I love her, before placing her hand on my face and kissing me again; taking things slow, she smirked due to the fact that she was happy. "I love you too, and I'm ready to just hold you close to me today." I agreed with Gabby as she told me that she was ready to hold me close today, because I'm ready to do the same. "Whatever you want to do today, I'm all for it; though, I may have some surprises today if you're up for it." Gabby smiled. "We'll see. However, I need to ask what you want me to wear." I smirked when Gabby asked me that question, while also laying down on our bed. "I love the idea of lingerie." Gabby agreed with me, as that's what she was wearing.

She was already wearing some lingerie for me, which meant that she didn't need to change. "I hope you know that I don't need to take it off, I just want what's best for you." Gabby smiled as she agreed with me. "And I think what might be best for you, is for us to make love during the day rather than at night; then, we can end our anniversary with a nice bath together? Hell, we can take a couple baths together." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, seemingly open to the idea. "But only if you feel good, because you're my priority; us having sex can come last, because I would rather you and our baby be okay than us having sex." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling as she reached for my hand before stroking it with her thumb. "How did I get so lucky in the husband department?" I smiled when Gabby asked me that question, before getting up and leaning over her; after which, I placed my hand on her neck as I kissed her softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with me. "If you love me, can you do something for me?" I nodded.

Though, it depended on what it was. "Depends on what it is." Gabby smirked as she kissed me. "I would really enjoy it if you were wearing your boxers, and I want a nice kiss from you as we lay down in bed together; like I should've gotten this morning." Gabby said the last part while giving me a bit of side-eye, clearly not happy that I wasn't here when she woke up. "Oh, calm down. We both know that you love me." Gabby smiled and agreed with me. "And I'd love you much more if you were already undressed." Agreeing with Gabby, I smiled as I got up and proceeded to get undressed for my girl so that I can give her exactly what she wants, which is a bit of time with me in bed, as we hold each other and share a nice morning kiss ahead of us having breakfast in bed.

Now this was the sight that Gabby wanted when she woke up this morning, the sight of her husband walking around their room in his tight boxers, which is a sight that she always loves, especially when she's all hormonal like she is right now. And Matt definitely knew that as he turned his head and looked at the woman he loves shortly after setting his clothes down on top of his dresser. "I can only assume that you like the sight?" Gabby smiled, agreeing with her husband as she most certainly does like the sight of her husband in his tight boxers. "Oh, I most certainly do." Carrying his phone over to his side table, Matt smiled as he set it down while looking at his wife; after which, he climbed back onto bed with her and smirked as he got close to her. After which, he placed his hand on her side and smiled as he cuddled up to the woman of his dreams; the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, and who was now under the covers just like him. However, Gabby couldn't help but feel a bit bad over the fact that they're in bed again.

That they're in bed with each other, rather than out in the beautiful place that they now call home; as that's precisely what Hawaii is, one of the most beautiful states in the country. "Sorry I'm keeping you in bed so often when we live in Hawaii." Looking at the woman he loves, Matt shook his head as he brought her body close to her; after which, he grabbed her hand and stroked it with his thumb. "Hey, I promise you: I don't give a damn that we stay in bed all the time when we live in Honolulu if this is where you want to be. I love you, and I want to do everything I can to make sure that you and our little girl are okay. Hasn't that been the truth since we learned that you were pregnant?" Gabby agreed with Matt, as that has been the truth since they learned they were having a baby; so much so, that Gabby decided to place her hand on Matt's face and just took things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. "Yes, yes it has." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling as he placed his hand on her arm and bent down to kiss her softly.

Kissing her forehead first, Matt soon moved his lips to hers as he started to take things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams; while also smirking due to the fact that he's living the dream, as this is everything he wants in life. "I love you Gabby, and I hope you know that this is the life I want with you. But one thing I also need to do is give you another gift. And I can do that here in bed, as I can give it to you while we have breakfast in bed." Gabby smiled as she looked up at Matt when he said that. "And what might that be?" Matt laughed. "I'm not spoiling it, but I already know you're going to stay something about the price when you see it; but I don't want to hear it." Gabby glared at Matt when he said that. "Ballpark?" Matt smiled as he placed his hand on the side of Gabby's face, before giving her a ballpark estimate of how much his gift cost. "$1400." Gabby was surprised when Matt mentioned that her gift cost (around) $1400. "Wow, that's a lot." Matt laughed, while also smiling as he proceeded to kiss Gabby's forehead.

Matt's POV – Part 2:
Staring down into Gabby's eyes when she told me that $1400 was a lot of money, I smiled as I placed my hand on her neck and stroked her cheek. "You're worth it, you'll always be worth it." Gabby agreed with me as I said that, smiling at me; while I bent down and kissed her once more, prior to whispering to her. "Happy anniversary Ms. Casey." Gabby smiled as I wished her a happy anniversary, before doing the same. "Happy anniversary Mr. Casey." I smiled, agreeing with Gabby as this truly is perfect; it's the best way for us to start our anniversary. Just the two of us, holding each other close in bed as we relaxed. Though, I knew I needed to apologize for not being here when she woke up. "Sorry I wasn't here when you woke up this morning, but I had to get to the grocery story; I wanted to get some ingredients for you, since I forgot to go yesterday." Smirking as she rolled over onto her side, Gabby motioned for me to do the same, which I did, while also getting close to her and bringing both of my girls against my chest. "God, I love holding you like this."

Gabby smiled as I told her that. "I think I already know why." I laughed, agreeing with Gabby as that definitely is the reason why I love holding her like this; I love holding her like this, as it's a way for me to hold both of my girls close to me. "I mean, can you blame me? I always want to hold my girls close to me, hold you in my arms as we show each other love." Gabby agreed with me as I said that, smiling as she placed her hand on my chest. After which, she cuddled up to me more as she laid her head down on her pillow; meanwhile, I turned my head and looked down at her as I rubbed her back. "You not feeling good?" Gabby sighed. "I'm trying but…" I shook my head, before bending down and pressing my lips to her forehead. "Hey, look at me." Gabby agreed with me. "Let me take care of you today. Let me make you feel better, let me do my job as your husband to love you in sickness and in health. It's in the vows." Gabby agreed with me, smiling as she stared into my eyes. "I hope you know that I love you so much Matt." I smiled, nodding.

After all, I love Gabby more than anything too. "I love you too Gabby, forever." Bending down, I smiled as I bent down and just took things nice and slow with the woman I love, which is precisely what I want to do right now. God, she is so damn sexy; and I'm glad that we're just holding each other close right now. "So, what are our plans for today." I smiled as Gabby asked me what our plans are for today, as I'm more than ready to just relax with her as we take it easy and concentrate on what matters: each other. "We can just take it easy and relax, because that's clearly what you need right now." Gabby agreed with me, as that's something she needs to do; which just became even clearer to me when she let go of my hand and moved her hand to the back of my head. Leaning our foreheads against one another's., there was just this way of us holding each other like this which told me that she needs to take it easy and rest today. "I want this today. I want to hold you close to me, as we rest and concentrate on each other. No sex, just cuddles."

I agreed with Gabby, as that's something that we can do. "I hope that's okay, especially since I was hoping to use sex as a way to get you to forgive me for not getting you a gift." I shook my head, as I didn't need a gift. "Hey, it's okay. I don't need a gift when you're giving me my dream gift. You're making me a dad, and that's all that matters to me; the fact that we're going to be parents." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, before smiling as she leaned up and kissed me softly on the morning of our anniversary. "Listen, how about you put it on the Hallmark Channel, we can watch their movie marathon." Gabby smiled at me. "I love that idea." I agreed with Gabby, smiling as I bent down and kissed the woman I love once more. "I love you Gabriela Marie Casey." Gabby agreed with me, smiling. "I love you too Matthew James Casey." I smirked and agreed with her, giving her one last kiss ahead of getting up. After which, I turned around and walked away so that I could make us some breakfast, while also teasing Gabby as I was wearing tight boxers.

Something which Gabby did not enjoy, especially not when I shook my ass for her. "NOT FAIR!" I smirked, while also turning to look at the woman of my dreams. "Totally fair, because you turn me on all the time just by looking beautiful; as you always do." Gabby shook her head. "God, you are such a turn on. Why must you try and make me fall in love with you more each and every day?" I laughed. "Didn't know I was trying." Gabby snickered when I said that, which I could clearly hear as I made my way back downstairs to make me and Gabby some breakfast this morning; breakfast which I already knew Gabby would enjoy.
