Jujutsu Kaisen RPG Idea
So I had this idea run through my head after playing various anime RPG games.
Plot:
Set years before the events of Jujutsu Kaisen. A massive domain appears overnight swallowing up several towns. Expanding with no signs of stopping the whole jujutsu world is put on high alert. Despite countless sorcerers being sent into investigate and neutralize the domain, it still remains.
It's up to you, the heir to one of the three great jujutsu clans to solve this problem. You are sent by Jujutsu High to find the source of this chaos and put an end to this domain once and for all.
Travel through this mysterious and dangerous landscape reminiscent of Spirited Away. Battle against the various curses and other enemies that will hound you along the way. Find and recruit the various scattered jujutsu sorcerers to overcome the hardships you will face ahead.
Main character:
You can create and customize your character to your liking. Select which of the three great clans does your character come from. Each of clan heirs come with their own unique benefits.
Gojo Clan Heir
Possessing both Limitless and the Six Eyes the Gojo clan heir has considerable higher base stats than the other clan heirs. All skills such as a Simple Domain or even use of infinity have low cursed energy cost. The Six Eyes also provides the heir with assistance outside of battle like providing a map of the area.
The major downside to this heir is that most skills for Limitless are unlocked at later levels than the skills for the other heirs.
Zenin Clan Heir
The Zenin clan heir inherited not only the Ten Shadows Technique but is also a vessel to a special grade cursed spirit. It is the only heir that has access to unlimited inventory space in the beginning. Thanks to this curse allows the heir to restore any destroyed shikigami. You are able challenge your shikigami at any level to gain control of them.
Challenging the shikigami at low levels is dangerous and you can only do so once a day. Should the Zenin heir fall in battle there is a small chance for the curse to take over which is a double edged sword. This heir also has the weakest base states of the three heirs.
Kumo Clan Heir
When it comes to the Kamo heir it is the most balanced amongst the three heirs in terms of base stats but is also the most difficult. The Blood Manipulation of the Kamo clan is the most mundane of the three clans' innate techniques and certainly has the worst drawback consuming both health and cursed energy for attacks.
However the heir has advanced the technique thanks to their ability to use positive energy allows them to overcome the blood loss drawback of their technique and even use it to healing others. Once the heir reaches a certain level and unlocks passive healing Blood Manipulation evolves into Body Manipulation which unlocks a whole menagerie of new skills.
Mechanics:
The game would play out like fire emblem and bleach the 3rd phantom. Any critical hits would result in a black flash. There is a day and night cycle which brings out different types of curses.
