"It's done", Red said, "Your cousin Penny will be staying with us next year. She can take Laurie's room, now don't you try anything funny, OK dumbass?", he said as he turned towards Eric. "Your mother and I will be looking out for her", Red went on, "She won;t be allowed to date anyone while she's here. Got that, dumbass?"

Eric was staring at his dinner plate. He didn't have much of an appetite and his fork just circled around the mashed potatoes.

Kitty tried to be a bit more sympathetic and said: "Look dear, I know it will take some time to get used to it, but she's family and we were asked to help out. Penny's parents will be working in Canada for a year, and they decided not to take Penny with them. They're doing what they think is best for her, you understand, don't you dear?"

"Yeah", Eric mumbled. He tried to pretend as if he didn't care, but he was annoyed and he realized it showed. He was still embarrassed by his previous encounter with his cousin. Now Penny was returning for a whole year, and everybody knew he was sexually attracted to her. Summer vacation was ruined. Instead of spending time with Donna and the gang he'd have to put up with having Penny around. Having her suck all the attention around.

After he told his friends, it seemed as if all of Point Place was abuzz. Everyone was excited about the arrival of Eric's hot cousin. Donna tried to calm him down. She said that another girl could bring some balance to their group, but he was afraid that having Penny in their group would cause an upheaval. It wouldn't be his basement anymore, it would also be Penny's basement from now on.

It was very awkward meeting Penny again. He was very uncomfortable the first afternoon she spent in the basement with his friends. Naturally, she grabbed Fez and Hyde's attention, and although Kelso tried to seem indifferent to her, he obviously wasn't.

Later that night when he was about to go to bed, Penny showed up at his room. She was wearing shorts and a tank top and he couldn't help notice how sexy she was. She smirked at him as she noticed how he was looking at her.

"Hey Eric", she said, "It seemed to me you were bothered by all the attention I was getting."

"Uhhmm", He mumbled, "It's OK I guess…"

"Good, you should really get used it quickly. It's me your friends are coming to see."

"Well, they've been my friends for years!", he replied.

"Maybe, but from now on it's gonna be about me. Say is Kelso really serious about that Jackie? I could really use a hot boyfriend during next year."

"I thought you weren't allowed to date while you're here."

"Yeah, but it's OK if your parents never find out."

"You bitch!"

"Yeah, I'm a bitch, you should also quickly get used to that. Good night."
