CH 8
The three guys walk out to where the are and raised there zats. Jack raised his when the wolfs step forward, so Jack zat the wolf and it yelp but it make it angry so they all ran towards them so jack and the others started zating them till they were dead or gone. Then they heard a howling
"We better get the others and out of here" they ran to the other caves where the others just finish zating the cocoons when the other showed up
"Come on we been ordered out of here there pack of wolfs on our six"
They all ran out of the caves and ran to the cargo ship and all manage to get in it and close the door just as wolfs arrived.
"Lets go home" jack said the jaffa power up the engines and they headed back home.
"Don't worry Daniel we will return next week to finish taking care of things here"
"That was a close call"
"Yes it was alright, did you see the size of those wolf, they are what twice big as the ones on earth?
"Yeah they do look it alright"
When they arrived home Sam and George greeted Jack like they alway doses when he comes back from some where. George runs up to Jack who bends down and open his arms for his son and scope him up in his arms and gives him a kiss on the cheek before they walk over to where sam is who is smiling at them. She let her hair grow long after Jack said to her four months after they were stranded on the planet.
"Sam don't cut your hair, I like it long" so she didn't cut it, but she had it plated, Janet and the other women did the same as well.
Jack walk up to sam and wrap his free arm around her and gives her a kiss and hug before putting his hand on her large stomach and feel baby kick under his hand which made him smile.
"Hungry, you miss lunch?"
"Yes I am" they walk over to one of the picnic tables and sat down with George on jack lap. Jacob and some of the others were they're eating their lunch as well. They were all talking about the caves, wolfs and what they planing on doing, every thing.
Over the next five weeks, every one was spilt into groups, One group was carrying on checking out villages and caves, and another was heading back the caves and finish zating the cocoons while two were on look out for the wolfs. When done, they start using the naqadah bombs to blow trees over. After they blow the third one over, before the wolf showed up, so they were able to get on the ship and leave.
The next day five ring down to one of the fallen trees and was able to lope rope vine around one of them while three others keep an eye out for the wolfs. They tied to a hook that Sam made for the bottom of the cargo ship and then they were all ring up and the ship slowly moved upward and then it started heading back home and then drop off them back to the area and done it again.
After the got the third tree, then wolfs showed up. While that was going on Sam team was busy making bombs to blow the trees over since the don't want to blow up caves any more since they started to find naqadah in them. One group was taking care of the tree between them and their neighbours. Janet, Sam and Kate were all on bed rest since they were close to giving birth. One-day jack was helping with the trees where the caves were when glider showed up and landed
"Jack, Sam gone into labour" Jacob called out. Jack ran over to the glider and got in
"Thanks for getting me dad, she not due for another three weeks"
"Well the baby got other plans"
"Shell we" they headed back to camp.
When they arrived three jack got out and ran into the hospital
"Where sam" when he ran into the room
"The river Jack, she waiting down there for you" Janet called out,
So he ran out of the hospital and down to the river where two women, Jan and Sam were there. Sam was naked and in the river.
"Sam"
When he got to the edge, he strip off down to his boxes and walk in to the river to where Sam was walking around with two women on each side, she was breathing
"Sam are you ok"
"Yeah walking help speed thing up and it cool and refreshing"
"That good, ok ladies I'll take over"
"Ok god" Jack stood in front of sam so she could wrap her arms around his neck when contraction came. He stroke her back till it pass, the he wet his hands and wash the sweat from her face and gives her a kiss
"Thanks"
"Any time sweet heart"
"I look like a beach whale"
"Sam you will always look beautiful to me"
"But still"
"Sam I love you weither you not pregnant or when you are giving birth, I will always love you now mater what you look like"
"Do you really?"
"Yes" he gives her a smile and kiss when another contraction hit her, he stroke her back for her
"Four minutes apart Sam" Jan said close by
"Thanks"
"Sam what would you like to have, boy or girl?"
"I don't care"
"Neither do I" he gives her another kiss.
Hour later Sam was lying down in the shallow part of the river with jack behind her holding her hands while Jan was between her legs as sam push since the river covered part of Sam body and they were having a water birth.
"I can see the head, you doing good sam"
Then she pushed again and then the first shoulder came out and then the second one came then the baby came out easily. Jan quickly pulled it out of the water and they waited then the baby cried when it took it first breath
"It a boy" she said smiling then she layed him on Sam chest while he was still crying, Sam put her hand on to his back while looking at him, he open his eyes.
"Jack he got your eyes"
"He beautiful Sam just like his mother"
"I just need to cut the cord" Jan turn him over and clip the cord with clips that was made then she pass him the sissies to Jack, which he took them and cut the cord.
"We better wrap him up warm"
Jan pick him up and pass him to one of the women who was close by with a towel and wrap him up in it and walk out of the river and waited for them to come out.
"Oh boy" then Sam started to push again
"What the?"
"What wrong?" Jack asked
"It a head"
"What?" jack and Sam said at the same time?
Then Sam push again, then the shoulders came out and the rest came out, Jan pull the baby out of the water, then it cry as it took it first breath
"It's a boy, you got two boys" she said smiling
Then she put him on his back so she could take care of the cord, once it was cut and put into Sam arms, Jack sat her up a bit and they look at him when he open his eyes, they were brown also
"Hey look at this" Sam said holding his right arm
"Well I be dam" On his right arm is earth point of origin birthmark.
"Well be better think up name for this little one then jack"
"Yes we should" jack look over at the two women there who are smiling at them
"Use my shirt as a towel" the second women pick up his shirt and walk in to the river and bend over, Jan pick up the baby and pass him to the women and she walk out of the river, just as Sam push the placenta out. Once it was out, Sam was able to relax for a few minutes.
"We should get you onto the bank ment sam so you can start breast feeding"
"Yeah we should"
"Can you sit up Sam"
Sam sat up so Jack could move from behind her and was able to stand up and walk around sam and then crouch down and scoop her up in his arms. Then walk her out of the river and put her down on the blanket that was lying against an orange tree. Which was grown from a seed from an orange that was in Daniel backpack when they arrived on the planet two and half years ago and it grown five times fast than on earth. When Jack put Sam on the ground and is leaning against the tree, both women pass their sons to her. Jack was next to her help their son that fined her nipples. Once they latch on they started drinking happily. Jack look up at the women
"Thank you for your help"
"Your welcome"
"You can go and spread the word about out two sons"
"What are their names"
"Our first born name Matthew and our second, I was thinking of Adam, what do you think sam?" he look at her
"I like that jack"
"There you go Matthew and Adam," he said smiling both women left to go and spread the word about the birth, every one is happy for them.
Hour later Jack wrap Sam up in the blanket while she was holding Adam while Jan was carrying Matthew back to the village and into the hospital. Janet and Kate were both shock by happy for them both. Once Sam was change and in bed and the boys were taken care of and returned, Jacob and George showed up to see the new addition to the family.
Sam was in the hospital for three days before her and the boys could go home. Two weeks later Kate gave birth to a girl named Mary, named after her grand mother who raised her when her parents was killed in car accident when she was two years old. Three days later Janet gave birth to a girl, both her and Daniel named her Danielle. They both were even were in hospital for three days before they could go home.
It took a month to clear the area around the four caves and then they could get started on mining the naqadah while there was some that were on guard to keep an eye out of the wolfs. Every one keep busy checking caves, villagers, or doing things around the village.
The tok'ra have been checking out the city and started making it their home. They found artefacts that were taken to Daniel to check out and to translate, which he was happy about doing. Three months after the twins were born Jack and Sam was out side near the river one night while Jacob looking after their kids for few hours. They both were leaning against a tree looking up in to the sky seeing the stars
"Sam"
"Yes Jack?"
"Is they're any chance of building a telescope" she smiled
"Yes"
"Sweet"
"I'll start designing one tomorrow"
"Thank you sweet heart" he kiss the top of her head
"Jack" after few minutes of silence
"Sam"
"I was thinking"
"That nothing knew, so what gives?"
"We should of heard some thing by now from either our allies or from earth"
"They think that we are dead"
"But sill, they should have sent a ship just in case"
"Yeah you're right, so you think you can build a radio with powerful signal?"
"I could try"
"Ok, shell we head in, the twins will be awake soon for their dinner"
"True, shell we head back"
"Yeah, we should" they both got up and walk back to their home.
Over the next month Sam was building a radio using one of the tel'tac communication devices during the day and making a telly scope during the night. When she finish with both of them, jack used it for the first time to send a message in morse code and hoping that some one will pick it up like a tok'ra operative since Jacob teach them all morse code.
And then sam show him the telescope she was working on which was connected to one of the laptop's. He was looking through it and smiled, then he gave Sam a passionate thank you kiss and later that night he showed her how much he loved her.
One thing that they all notice its that there is fog in the morning which make the ground damp and the trees, grass and vegetables all wet and that there is no clouds in the sky. Till early one morning Jack woke up and went to relieve him self when he notice that there was light drizzle out side. So he watch it for an hour before it stop and then the fog showed up, so he then knows that there is clouds about, then he went back to bed and spoon Sam like he dose some nights and went back to sleep.
Week later he was looking through the telescope one night when he saw what he through was a star appeared. So he type on the lap top to have a closer look then two more showed up, so he try to have a closer look the best he can, for what he can see
"Shit" he ran in to the village and bang on Daniel door, he open it
"Jack, what is it"
"Three mother ships just showed up, help me alert every one" then he ran over to Jacob place and bang on the door, Jacob open it
"Jack"
"Dad warned the tok'ra we got in coming, three mother ships showed up"
"Ok" then he knock on other doors Sam walk out side
"Jack what going on?"
"Three mother ships just showed up, you know what to do"
"Yes"
Sam went in side and got the boys then she went over to Janet and drop them off then she ran to area where she build a big bow and arrow with a big bomb connected to it. She light it and use the knife to cut the vine then it went in the air, she watch it then there was a big bang which would wake every one in five hundred mile area, then she waited for couple of minutes and did it again.
