Chapter 2: Airport Ambush

As soon as the much ended, Malory quickly left and she arrived back with her group.
Malory nodded and replied, "That is a powerful Dragon deck."
The former lord nodded and replied, "That kid is a really strong duelist. We need to invite her to help us, Malory."
"I know, but she won't want to come without her girlfriend Jordan, sir."
"I know, but is she a descendant of either knight?"
She opened her book and she looked around and she smiled ad replied, "You're not going to believe this, my lord. that Jordan girl is a descendant of Shield Knight and Blake is a descendant of Shovel Knight."
"That is all we needed. Send the letters and disguise it as a small tournament as well, Malory."
She nodded as she walked away and the former lord looked at the page where pictures of the three duelists and he nodded and replied, "I really hope you three can save us from that wench."

The top floor of a dark and evil looking tower / ?
11:00pm
That evening at the top of a large black tower, a evil woman was watching the screens that showed various spots on Pridmoor island. Besides her was a Knight with black and red armor and he was known as Black Knight.
The Black Knight knelt and replied, "Enchantress, nothing is happening on the island as we speak and we cannot find Primoor or any of his P.O.U.R. flunkies anywhere, but our knights are watching everything for their arrival."
She looked at her large crystal ball and she replied, "P.O.U.R. has send messages to find the Descendants to Pridmoor Island to help with their takeover of Pridmoor Island, Black Knight."
"I understand, madam. What do you want me to do?"
"Get all of the knights ready to duel at anytime and get your deck ready. I'm sending you to our hideout at Pridmoor so you can ambush and capture those descendents. Bring your new apprentice in to duel one of them and then I'll send my apprentice knights to help with the capture once the duel is over."
He nodded as she left her chamber and she continued to watch her crystal ball and she sighed replied, "Where are you, you former monarch? You and that pathetic resistance group are the only things standing in our way of conquering this pitiful island. Once I crush your puny resistance group, the island and world will finally be mine!"

Ashlee's House
5:00pm
After we left the stadium and dropping off the love of my life, I was sitting on my bed in my room and I was staring at the deck I just won the tournament with. WIth the cards I won and ones Tony gave me, my deck was better then ever and then I looked at my trophy and let out a deep sigh and replied, "I'm so glad that's over for me now. Now me and my Dragon army can get some sleep."
She heard knocking at her and she replied, "Come on in."
The door opened up, my mom was there and she smiled and replied, "Feel good to be at home again, honey?"
"It really does. We've been through a lot and I'm glad to have you by my side, mom."
She smiled at that. She told that when I was only a year old, my so-called father left them and never come back. It devastated her mom, but she helped raised me to become the person I am today and we both got through it okay and they've stayed by each other's side ever since and then I saw her smile and replied, "You're a great woman, honey. So proud of your hard work as a duelist and everything else as well."
"Thanks for that, mom. After I'm done with my deck and have a short nap, can we order for some pizza for dinner?"
She nodded and then replied, "We can certainly do that tonight, honey. See you later."
She was about the close the door and then I put the box down and then replied,"Mom?"
her mother looked back at me and I smiled and replied, "I love you, mom. Thank you for everything."
She smiled back at me and replied, "I love you too, honey. Take your nap and I'll see you later."
She smiled and I walked up to her mother and hugged her and I smiled at her as she closed my door and I looked back at my deck again and I nodded and replied, "This deck is going to be more powerful then It ever was."
I saw a picture of me and my sister and then resumed, "Manda, I can't wait to see you again. Miss you a lot right now."
After she graduated, she left for a little trip around the world with her boyfriend Craig and I've haven't from her since.

Underground Bunker / 9:00pm
Later that night in the bunker, the former king was at a large table with Malory and his bodyguard for him and his sons who's name was Wallace.
He looked at Malory and replied, "Did those invites make it to the states, Malory?"
She nodded and replied, "Of course, sir. They'll all get them sometime tomorrow morning."
"Good to here. Here's hoping that they can help us out here. I really don't know what we can do if they can't make it Pridmoor Island."
Malory sighed and replied, "Don't give up hope, sir. We'll find a way through this."

The Next Day
Ashlee's household / Dothan, Alabama
1:30pm
I was going over my revamped deck. I used the money and cards to make the perfect kind of dragon deck I always dreamed of finally using for myself and then I nodded and replied, "I really do love the way this deck is coming together."
We heard knocking at the door and my mom went to the door and she opened it and there was a tall male with brown hair and glasses walked in carrying a large brown envelope and this was my uncle Peter who was a mailman for Dothan and he looked at me and replied, "Hey, Ashlee."
"Hey, Uncle. What's up?"
He showed him the large envelope and replied, "This came from you in the mail and the it looks like it can from a island near Hawaii called Pridmoor."
Her mom grabbed it and he smiled and replied, "Call you later tonight, sis."
My mom smiled as he left and closed the door and then she nodded and replied, "I heard it's a beautiful island with a few villages and many other places to visit. We have to visit someday."
He handed her the envelope and she opened it and a letter was inside of it and she began to read it:
Dear Ashlee Sawyer of Dothan, Alabama,
We heard of your tournament win yesterday and we want to offer you a chance for you to visit Pridmoor Island! You'll be part of a dueling convention and the winning prize will bel a lot of money, any 3 cards ever made (with some exceptions) plus a house of your own in our Pridmoor Village in the private area of the village. We really hope you can visit us. inside of this envelope is this letter and a smaller white envelope with a plane ticket that would be flying from Panama CIty Beach's airport in Florida. We really hope you make it here and if you cannot, send this envelope back to us and write your reason on a piece of paper and place it in this envelope. We hope to see you and other duelists soon!

I nodded as I placed the letter back in the envelope and then I replied, "Really intresting indeed."
Her mom nodded and replied, "You'll be great in the tournament. As long as we can speak on the phone or laptop, I'll allow you to head to anywhere, including Pridmoor."
He nodded and replied, "Fair enough. I'll do it."
My mom looked at me and replied, "You'll show the world how great your dragon a
They nodded and left and Emmie then replied, "I'll have to call Jordan and tell her about this letter."

At that same time at Erica's house down the road, she received the same letter with her name on it. Her mom and dad where there and her younger sister Trixie listened as she read the letter.
She then replied, "Sounds a once in a lifetime chance of greatness. I have to do this, guys."
Her dad (Derrick) nodded and replied, "I really hope you know what you're doing, baby girl. You're a great duelist. Do you really want to do this?"
She nodded and her mother (Who's name was Tanya) smiled and replied, "As long we can talk to you from that island, we'll allow you to go, hon. Show the island who has the best Dragon deck anyone can use!"
She smiled at her parents and Trixie only sighed and Jordan looked at her younger sister and replied, "What's up, Trix?"
She then replied, "I'm going to miss you while you're gone, sis. You're my older sister and I love you more then anything. Please, please be safe."
She only smiled as she walked up to her sister and hugged her and then she felt her cellphone moving in her pocket and she grabbed it and she answered and resumed, "Erica here. Hey, sweets."
She smiled deeply and replied, "No damn way. This will make things so much more better for us. we can talk more later. Love ya."
She hung up the phone and she sighed and replied, "Ashlee got a invite as well."
Her mom smiled and replied, "You are so lucky to have her come with you, Erica. Make sure you both watch over each other."
She nodded and continued to look at the letter.

Underground Bunker / 6:00pm
That evening in the dining area of the bunker, the former ruler was eating dinner with his group. Which included his sons, his treasure hunter Chester and a young black-haired lady named Mona that wants to be the best alchemist and scientist on Pridmoor. Malory was checking to see if the kids accepted the invites from Lord Pridmoor.
Riley sighed ans he looked at the taller guy wearing a chef's outfit and hat and he replied, "Nice cooking, Gastromoner. Your orange chicken with rice is really cooked well and very tasty as well. Really good job with the cooking."
The chef smiled at him. His real name was Gregory Montillman, but he was known by P.O.U.R. as the Gastromoner. His wife Melinda and 5 year old daughter Janey lived in the village in a protected part.
He nodded and replied, "I really do try my best, sir. I trained in some of the best restaurants all over the world and all that training helped me become the chef I really today, boss."
The former lord nodded as he looked at the map of Pridmoor Island and he sighed and replied, "Those knights can strike at anytime. We need to be ready for anything and everything."
The nearby door opened up and Malory walked and she smiled and replied, Our descendants accepted their invites to the island, sir. They're excited and happy to get to go together and they're getting ready right now as well."
"Good to hear that. Those kids are really strong duelists and what we need to get through everything."
She nodded and the Gastromoner replied, "Here is your meal, Malory. A small salad and a small plate of my famous baked salmon."
She smiled as sat down in front of the plate and she was happy that the Gastromoner even served vegan and vegetarian dishes as well (She was vegetarian that can enjoy seafood in her meals as well). She saw her food and replied, "This looks amazing."
He looked at Wallace and replied, "You and Malory wait for them outside of the airport and make sure none of the Enchantress's flunkies get to them before us."
He nodded as they continued to eat the dinner.

Pridmoor Island Airport/Seaport
3:30pm
I was so happy that we will be able to be together this whole time and then a few days later, We both arrived on a large bus that took them to the airport and then after a eight hour plane trip, we finally arrived at the airport. Unlike most airports, this one only had 3 landing areas and only 3 planes and the gang arrived in the best one the airport had. Our luggage was with us as well. Strangely enough, the whole place was abandoned. we both looked around and I then replied, "Anyone here to help us? What do we do now?"
Erica then replied, "This is really really wierd."
"Surrender to us, kids!", a voice was heard.
They looked to the eastern gate of the port and Black Knight and 3 Duel Spirits that looked 3 Archfiend Soldiers (ATK: 1,900 x3) where there and Black Knight let out a stange-sounding laugh and Jordan groaned and replied, "That really does sound annoying."
"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm known as Black Knight, a spy for the great master of the island known only as the Enchantress! I spy around the island and make sure nothing goes wrong for my mistress."
We both looked puzzled and then I replied, "We got these letters from some guy named Lord Pridmoor about meeting for a duel convention."
The knight let out another strange laugh and he replied, "That old fool made a plan to get you here and they chose one of the dumbest things I ever would of thought of getting you all here! He really is a old fool of a former king!"
We both looked really nervous and then he replied, "Now if there is anything else you kids want to say, We're capturing you kids before you have a chance to do any damage to the Enchantress or her island. Follow me and my knights and we'll head back there with no trouble."
I looked at him and replied, "We don't think so. If this is for nothing but trouble, we're heading home."
The knight let out another laugh and then he replied, "We won't allow it. My knights captured the Pilot and co-pilot and they're the only ones on the island that know who to fly a plane in or out of this island. You're all trapped her and then follow my group now and they won't be any more trouble."
Jordan looked at him and replied, "We're not going with you, knighty. How about this deal?"
She raised her arm with the duel disk on it in the air and replied, "duel me and if I win, you leave us alone and if you win, I'll surrender myself to you and then leave my love alone."
I looked stunned at this and I know she is serious about this if she's risking herself to save me. I really do know she's was the right person for me.
The knight nodded and replied, "You must really think you're that good of a duelist to do a wager like that. Fine, I accept. But, you'll duel my apprentice, kid."
He glowed and a portal opened up and a burst of ash and fiery embers flew out of it and a beautiful female wearing a red beautiful dress walked in Duel Spirit creature walked through it closed up (ATK: 1,300) and I nodded and then replied, "That's a Fire Princess."
She saw the knight and he looked back at her and replied, "You win this match and you'll be rewarded big time for your help. Our boss will make sure you get better cards and stuff, my friend."
She nodded as a duel disk made of fiery red metal appeared on her arm with a deck of cards in and a loaded Extra Deck and then she looked at us and spoke a royality-like voice, "Who might I be dueling in this duel?"
Erica quickly raised her hand and she looked at me and she smiled and replied, "Mind if I take this one, hon? I'll make sure that she'll regret facing us in a duel."
I nodded and then smiled and resumed, "I want to see more of your deck, so go for it. Show this spirit how we Americans fight."
She smiled and as she faced the spirit and then replied, "I'll destroy anything you send my way."
The spirit nodded and resumed, "I'll show you how strong my deck is, kid."
"Fair enough, lady. Let's get this dueling done then."
Both activated their duel disks and both drew 5 cards.
"Game on!", both yelled out.

The spirit smiled and resumed, "Since your so confident in your dueling skills, you make the first move, kid."
She nodded and looked at her hand and then resumed, "I'll set a monster and a card and that's all for me."
She drew a new card and then resumed, "I summon my Molten Zombie."
She played the card and a Pyro made of magma appeared in front of her (ATK: 1,600).
"Destroy the kids's facedown monster."
It glowed as a burst of fiery embers shot out from its body and a Swordsman of Landstar appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and the fiery embers struck him and blew him to little pieces.
"Your weaklings are no match for me! I end my turn now."
Erica drew a card and replied, "How about this. I Summon my Anarchist Monk Ranshin."
She played the card and aged robed monk with a wooden staff appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Destroy his monster."
She aimed her staff and it glowed as a magical bolt of energy shot out and slammed into the goopy Pyro before it burst into fiery embers & wisps of black smoke (Fire Princess LP: 8000 - 7800).
"Your move, firebug."
"First blood to me, firebug. I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "Humans can be so pestering. I'll set a monster and 2 cards facedown and that's all for me."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I summon my Giltia the Dark Warrior."
She played the card and a Giltia the D. Knight covered in glowing white armor with a large white sword for a weapon appeared (ATK: 1,850) and then the Spirit resumed, "I activate my Backfire."
The trap appeared.
"No big deal as Giltia does piercing battle damage. Attack her facedown monster."
the Warrior charged in and a It went in and a UFO Turtle appeared (DEF: 1,100) and he swung his sword through it and glowed dark red before it exploded into burning scrap metal (Fire Princess LP: 7800 - 7350) and then a barrage of fireballs shot out from the trap and struck her (Erica LP: 8000 - 7500) and then a 2nd turtle appeared (ATK; 1,400) and then the monk began to chat and a magic bolt of energy shot out and slammed into the machine and smashed it to little pieces of hot metal (Fire Princess LP: 7350 - 6950) and then more fireballs slammed into him (Erica LP: 7500 - 7000) and she resumed, "I Special Summon my Molten Behemoth."
She played the card and a fiery rocky-like creature appeared (ATK: 1,000) and then Jordan saw the monster and she nodded and resumed, "I'll set a card for later and that's all for now."
She drew a card and resumed, "Scared you, didn't I? I activate my facedown Metaverse."
She sighed as her trap appeared and she grabbed a field spell from her deck and then she quickly slid her card into the slot and resumed, "I activate my Molten Fortress."
Her field slot closed up and a large red fortress made of red volcanic stones and hardened magma appeared (ATK: 1,000 - 1,200).
"I'll switch Behemoth to defense and then I Can summon any Fire monster with one less tribute needed and that includes my Mr. Volcano."
She played the card and a fiery robed wizard-like Pyro appeared (ATK: 2,100 - 2,300) and then his rocky monster knelt (DEF: 2,200 - 2,400). I was amazed with this Field Spell. He can summon Fire monsters with one less tribute now and that made cards like Mr. Volcano actually have a use. I hated to admit it, but this field spell is really cool.
"I attack your Ranshin."
The Pyro smiled evily as a fiery barrage of fireballs shot out and struck the monk and he moaned before he vanished in a cloud of black smoke & fiery embers and charred pieces of his robe fluttered to the ground and dissolved into dust and Erica resumed, "I activate my Defense Draw."
The trap appeared and she drew a card and then resumed, "When Ranshin is destroyed, one of your monsters in your graveyard is banished and I choose your Zombie."
The card appeared and vanished into ash.
"Clever one, kid. I end my turn now."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I'll switch Giltia to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that's all for me."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I summon my Guerilla Kite."
It played the card and a very strange Fiend in the same of a kite with many eyes and spiked balls connected to it appeared (ATK: 1,600 - 1,800).
"Mr. Volcano, attack!"
It smiled evily as a huge burst of fiery balls shot out and struck Giltia down and blew him to shards and Jordan then resumed, "When he goes down in battle, Giltia the D. Knight is Special Summoned from my Extra Deck."
A burst of energy filled the area as the Fusion monster appeared and knelt (DEF: 1,500) and it glowed as a burst of spiked spheres shot out and exploded near the Warrior and blasted him to little triangles.
"Your move now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I flip over my facedown monster."
She did so and then a young female elf with a schoolgirl's outfit and a book in her arms appeared (ATK: 1,400).
"This is my Learning Elf and then I also summon my Gagaga Apprentice Magician.'
She played the card and a a young male black-robed spellcaster with two small metal batons for weapons with the Gagaga symbol on his left sleeve appeared in front of her (ATK: 1,300) and she saw the Elf and then most humorous about this, he was turning red from blushing at the Elf and she saw him and only sighed and then went back to reading her book and he let out a deep sigh and faced the Spirit's side of the field and I had to smile at that scene. That was really a cute and comedic moment for any monster I've ever seen.
"I overlay my Elf and Apprentice Magician."
They both nodded and they turned into small white orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear before me my Kachi Kochi Dragon!"
She played the card and the mighty dragon of light appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"I use my Apprentice's Magician's effect now. Since I Xyz Summoned a monster and used him and a monster with a different attribute or type, one of your monsters loses 500 attack and my monster gains 300 ATK and all changes last until the End Phase of the turn."
Her Pyro moaned (ATK: 2,300 - 1,800) and then the dragon glowed with energy (ATK: 2,100 - 2,400) and then she resumed, "I play Mystical Space Typhoon."
The storm began and the windstorm ripped through his Field Spell before it all collapsed into ash & small red stones (ATK: 1,800 x2 - 1,600 x2).
"I attack your Pyro now."
The dragon roared as a burst of small white shards shot out and pierced through the Pyro and he moaned and then into burst into fiery embers & ash (Fire Princess LP: 6950 - 6150) and them more fireballs shot from its trap and slammed into her (Erica LP: 7000 - 6500) and she smiled and resumed, "Worth the damage. I remove a Xyz Material to attack your Kite!"
She discarded the Elf's card as more white shards shot out and pierced through the Kite and it made a pout-like face before it shattered into fiery embers as well (Fire Princess LP: 6150 - 5350) and small spheres exploded around her and then more fireballs struck her (Erica LP: 6500 - 5500) and then she sighed and resumed, "Ouch. Since my Elf hit the graveyard, I draw a card."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I now end my turn now."
The spirit drew a card and then resumed, "I'll set a monster and a card facedown and that's all for me."
Erica drew a new card and resumed, "I summon my Breaker the Magical Warrior."
She played the card and the magic warrior appeared with his glowing magical sword (ATK: 1,600 - 1,900).
"Since I Normal Summoned a Level 4 monster like Breaker, I can Special Summon my Kagetokage."
"I destroy your Backfire with Breaker's effect."
He swung his sword (ATK: 1,900 - 1,600) and a blade of magic energy shot out and cleaved the Trap in two pieces before shattering.
"I now overlay my Kagetokage and my Breaker."
Both monsters glowed as they both turned into small white orbs and then a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon. I bring forth the powerful Photon Papilloperative."
She played the card and a strange Warrior with two large butterfly-like wings appeared (ATK: 2,100). I was really enjoying this deck so far. She' s using a lot of Xyz Monsters with ways of summoning them as well.
"I use a monster to switch your monster to attack position."
She took the Kagetokage card and discarded it as his monster stood up (ATK: 1,000 - 400).
"Gave it a swift kick now."
The winged Warrior went and slammed its fist into the chest of the Pyro before it burst into fiery embers and small red rocks (Fire Princess LP: 5350 - 3650) and she pointed to her facedown card and resumed, "I activate my Broken Blocker!"
The trap appeared and 2 more Behemoths appeared and both knelt (DEF: 2,200).
"Kachi Kochi Dragon attacks your facedown monster."
The dragon roared as a burst of small white shards shot out and a small fiery Beast appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and the shards stabbed into it and blew it to little pieces and the Spirit smiled and resumed, "That was my Fencing Fire Ferret and your monster is destroyed and you take 500 damage as well!"
A huge burst of flames shot and slammed into the Dragon and the rocks of it glowed red before it exploded in a shower of ash & fiery red stones (Erica LP: 5500 - 5000).
"Darn it. I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I tribute my other behemoth for my Skeleblazer."
It vanished and a large orange & red skeleton appeared and its body was covered in hot red flames (ATK: 2,200).
"I now activate my Hand Destruction."
She discarded two cards and then drew two cards and then Jordan looked at his hand and took a monster called A/D Changer and a Breakthrough Skill and discarded them both and then drew 2 cards and then resumed, "I attack your Xyz!"
The giant glowed as a burst of hot flames shot out and burned her monster alive before it collapsed into a hot pile of smoldering ash & fiery embers (Erica LP: 5000 - 4900) and she smiled and resumed, "Since it crushed a monster, you take damage for each Fire monster in my graveyard and they are eight of them in there."
A swarm of fireballs shot out and slammed into her (Erica LP: 4900 - 4100).
"Your move now, kid."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I'll set a monster and that's all I can really do for right now."
The spirit drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Darkfire Soldier #1."
He played the card and the Pyro-like samurai with a fiery sword appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Skeleblazer, attack!"
The Pyro glowed as a burst of fireballs shot out and a fancy jar with jewels covering the jar (DEF: 800) and the fiery attack reduced it to small pieces and dust and then more fireballs rained down on her (Erica LP: 4100 - 3300) and she nodded and resumed, "When my Greed Jar is flipped, I can use one of two effects and I'll use its effect to excavate the top cards of my deck equal to the number of monsters you have and I discard the other one I don't need."
She drew two cards and they were a Gagaga Gardna and a Trap Card and she discarded the Trap Card and she smiled and resumed, "Since I discarded my Elegant Level LV4 and I Can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower monster from my deck and I choose my Chow Sai the Ghost Stopper."
She played the card and another dark monk appeared and he was starting to chant as well (ATK: 1,900).
"Curse you, kid. I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I'll use the effect of my A/D Changer and banish to switch your monster to defense."
She banished the card and the giant Pyro knelt down (DEF: 1,000).
"I now summon my Master of Flaming Dragonswords."

"Dragonswords, attack!"
He went and swung his sword and it cut through the Pyro and it moaned and vanished in a cloud of ash (FIre Princess LP: 2750 - 2650).
No wonder The Enchantress wants us to watch these girls. This girls deck is really powerful. When I duel her myself, my deck will destroy hers., Black Knight thought to himself as he watched the duel.
"I'll set a card and now it's your turn now, firebug."
"I always hated that silly name.", she muttered underneath her breath as she drew a card. "I'll banish a fire monster to summon my Inferno."
She quickly banished her Darkfire Soldier #1 and the fiery bonfire with blue eyes appeared (ATK: 1,100).
"I now summon my Magma Drago."
She played the card and a small fiery Dragon appeared (ATK: 1,400).
"I tune them both together to Synchro Summon my Flamvell Uruquizas!"
The smalll dragon glowed and then split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through the Inferno and turned into 4 white stars (*2 + *4 = *6) and then the fiery Pyro appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Destroy her Chow Sai!"
She went and punched at it and he moaned and then burst into shards (Erica LP: 3300 - 3100) and his fists glowed even more (ATK: 2,100 - 2,400) and Erica nodded and resumed, "Banish your Molten Fortress card with his effect."
The card appeared and burst into ash.
"Didn't need that one anymore. I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I'll keep my Warrior where he is and set a monster and that's all for me."
The spirit drew a card and then resumed, "I summon my Flamvell Grunika."
She played the card and a larger fiery dragon appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Urquizas, attack!"
He went in and punched at the Warrior and he moaned and then shattered to bits (Erica LP: 3100 - 2500) and the fists glowed even more (ATK: 2,400 - 2,700).
"Grunika, your turn!"
The dragon roared as a burst of small fireballs shot out and a Morphing Jar appeared (DEF: 6000 before the fiery attack smashed it into shards and then more of the fiery attack hit her (Erica LP: 2500 - 2100) and then she discarded a Gagaga Gardna and drew 5 cards and the spirit had nothing to discard and then just drew 5 cards and resumed, "You'll never beat me, kid. I end my turn now."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I activate my Message in a Bottle to Special Summon 3 monsters from my graveyard."
The spell appeared and Swordsman of Landstar (ATK: 500 - 0), Gagaga Apprentice Magician (ATK: 1,300 - 0) and a Gilita the D. Knight appeared (ATK: 1,850 - 0) and the Black Knight let out a deep horrid laugh and I looked at him and resumed, "What is so funny?"
"Your fiend is a fool. If she doesn't Xyz Summon this turn, she'll take 4,000 damage and lose the duel and each of them have a different level as well!"
I only sighed and then resumed, "She'll find away to Xyz Summon."
"I will indeed. I activate my Xyz Allign."
Her facedown card appeared.
"Now I declare a level and then I select 2 monsters on the field as well as a monster of my own and then I can change their levels and I'll select my Swordsman of Landstar and I'll change his level and Giltia the D. Knight to level 4."
Both warriors glowed (LV: 3 - 4) - (LV: 5 - 4).
"I now summon my Gagaga Magician."
She played the card and the dark mage that helps with Xyz Summoning appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"Next I banish the Breakthrough Skill I discarded with your Hand of Destruction Spell to weaken your Synchro."
She took the card and banished it and the Synchro moaned (ATK: 2,700 - 2,100).
"I overlay my Giltia the D. Knight, Gagaga Apprentice Magician and my Swordsman."
The two monsters glowed and then the portal opened and they flew into it.
"I Xyz Summon my Night Papilloperative."
She played the card and a dark armored winged Warrior appeared (ATK: 2,600).
"I use Apprentice's effect now."
Her monster glowed (ATK: 2,600 - 3,100) so did the Pyro Synchro (ATK: 2,100 - 1,600).
"I now use Monster Reborn to bring back Chow Sai."
The spell appeared and the monk appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I overlay my Chow Sai and Magician."
Both monsters turned into black orbs and the same portal opened up and the orbs flew into the portal.
"I Xyz Summon my Gem-Knight Pearl."
She played the card and the rocky warrior appeared (ATK: 2,600).
"I use my Night Papilloperative's effect and ditch a Xyz monster to give him 300 attack for each Xyz Material monster on the field for each Xyz."
He discarded Apprentice's card and the Xyz glowed (ATK: 3,100 - 4,300).
"Let's do this. Pearl, attack!"
The rocky Warrior went in and punched at the Synchro and he moaned and the burst into fiery embers & ash (Fire Princess LP: 2650 - 1750) and she moaned and resumed, "I was so close to beating you!"
"Not close enough, firebug! Night Papilloperative, end this!"
The wings of the Warrior glowed as a huge burst of glowing black blades shot out and slammed into the Synchro it moaned before it burst into a burning heap of hot ash (Fire Princess LP: 1750 - 0) and I could only smile. She has a great deck and she would gave me a very tough duel as well.
Black Knight nodded and replied, "This kid a amazing duelist. Not even this lackey of mine could beat her."
The knight looked at the spirit as he slowly got up and he replied, "You tried and failed me. We'll chat about your failure later, Princess."
She groaned and then vanished in a burst of fiery embers & ash that floated everywhere and then he looked at the kids and replied, "Ready to come with me now, kids?"
I looked right at him and replied, "We had a deal and Jordan won the duel. Go away and Leave us alone."
The knight let out another laugh and replied, "You think I would keep my end of the bargain? Dream on, kid. Soldiers, capture them for me."
We both held each other as they drew their swords and as the foot soldiers were getting closer, we watched as a huge barrage of arrows shot out from the sky and impaled all 3 of the Fiends. They all shattered into pixels and Black Knight looked at the where the arrows came from and a tall knight, a female mage and 3 other knights that were archers were there and Wallace drew his sword and replied, "Retreat now and we'll forget this incident ever happened, Black Knight!"
He sighed and replied, "You kids lucked out for now. I'll be back and you'll never beat me or my master."
A energy-filled portal opened up and he walked through it and it vanished and the gold armored knight then replied, "He's smarter then I think."
He put his sword away and then He looked at the kids and replied, "You the kids we invited to the island?"
We both nodded and Malory replied, "Follow us to a safe area away from Black Knight and his flunkies!"
We both nodded as we followed them out of the abandoned airport.
