"Lucario? I thought you went missing? What are you doing here?" Hungo asked, performing a salute in respect.

"You know you can't be harassing these young Pokémon! Look at this Riolu! He's too cute, you think you can just execute this precious fur ball? Plus, I'm the one looking for these kiddos too!" Lucario said while hugging the Riolu.

Red looked shocked at being called a fur ball and even more so about being hugged as if he was a plushie. Though, he just went along with it.

"But- but- They're apart of Valgion!" Hungo argued.

"How do you know that?" Lucario replied swiftly, while Red was just hanging there watching the whole thing, Sylvie and Blue also stood watching.

"Uhm.. I'm sorry sir! I assumed too quickly, though, it is policy to execute anyone who isn't in our database." Hungo protested.

"Then, what about the Sylveon? She's in the database. You said so yourself." Lucario combatted.

"She was with the others so, she was associated. Mon! You may return to your posts. Listen, I'm sorry, sir, I will be more careful from now on." Hungo resigned, leaving the Pokemon to themselves.

"Mm.. Well.. What's up Ru- or should I say Red?" Lucario laughed, "Great to see you as well Blue." "Also, since when did you get so fluffy Red? Don't remember you being fluffy just 3 days ago."

"A lot's changed." Red monotony said while still hanging in Lucario's arms.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to introduce myself to your Sylveon friend. I'm Lucario! At your service!" Lucario cheerfully said.

"Yup! Yuuppp…" Sylvie said before breaking and falling over to her side in shock. One of her ribbons waved though.

" has stopped working." Blue stated blankly.

"Well, uhhh, okay.." Red said, "Anyway, how did you know my alias?"

"That's quite easy! I found you guys in the hotel when Red wasn't waking up." Lucario explained. "I decided to wait till Red woke up before I showed myself. Then when you fought those Valgion members, I decided to see how you'd fair against them. Then, you guys made one faint, and killed another!" Lucario exclaimed impressed. "Though, I don't agree with killing.. You guys were awesome out there! Then, right as I was about reveal myself. You guys ran off and so I had to find you again. Luckily, I found you right on time."

"Damn," Blue said.

"Also, if I didn't know better, I'd say Red was a seasoned fighter, trained in the art of the Legendaries. Specifically, the Arceus Art." Lucario explained. "I guess you're just talented like that."

"O-hh, thatt's cool.." Red replied who was now on the ground. The look on his face, well, his thoughts included, "How does Lucario know about that? It was a special way of fighting that Lux- him and I knew about. And Arceus too but.."

"You good Red?" Blue asked, "You've been zoning out for a bit.. We're about to leave."

"Yeah, coming." Red replied, running towards the group.

"Anyway, did you guys run into any other trouble?" Lucario asked.

"Apparently, when I fell from the sky, I landed hard and my fur became extremely bloody. But that's about it. Don't know why my entire body became like that but it's whatever, I'm fine now." Red said casually.

"I'm sorry that happened to you..?" Lucario said.

"Anyway, where are we going? You never really told us." Blue questioned.

"Yup! Yup! You never did tell us!" Sylvie added.

"Oh- Yeah, I did forget did I? Hehe- Um, So we are heading to the Capital. There, we can get an assessment of the damage, and see if they left anything behind." Lucario replied, answering the question that was among the group.

"Who's they?" Red asked.

"Valgion, apparently they were the ones who attacked the capital in that shared dream thing of ours. So, we need to first help out the people, and then we make plan to take them out." Lucario responded.

"But, isn't the capital, like, over 20,000 PokéSquares away?" Sylvie questioned.

"Can someone give me a conversion rate on that?" Blue asked. "I don't know what a PokéSquare is or the measurement compared to the real world."

"6,200 Miles, each PokéSquare is about 500 meters. So, if we do the math, 20,000 PokéSquares equal 6,200 Miles more or less." Red said, immediately answering Blue's question.

"I didn't know you were that analytical. But, still, how are we gonna get there?" Blue said.

"Using, something called," Lucario said, hyping them up.

"Ride Pokémon!" Sylvie butted in, finishing Lucario's sentence.

"Hey! I was gonna say that," Lucario yelled in a fake frustration. "Though, if we are gonna catch a ride on one, we're gonna need to go to the next town."

"And, that is..?" Blue interjected.

"Celeste City, the town famous for the Celeste Gem, it powers the whole city." Lucario finishes.

"Celeste City? I've always wanted to go there! But Pops said the journey was too dangerous." Sylvie added.

"Your pops? Wait, does he know you are coming with us?" Lucario asked, trying to be a responsible 17 year old.

"Ohh.. was I supposed to tell him that…?" Sylvie said, acting dumb.

"Well, we gotta probably ask permission. If you're gonna stay with us." Red pointed out.

"Guess a quick detour won't hurt, eh Lucario?" Blue said.

"The more the merrier..?" Lucario responded.

"Alright, let's go quickly so we can head out for Celeste City tomorrow." Red exclaimed.

Sylvie lead the way back to her father's land, though the journey took about 15 minutes. By now, the sun was setting and cool evening air was brushing against their fur, as they tried to follow Sylvie who was extremely fast. Soon, they reached the fields of flowers and Oran Berry Trees that were surrounding the property. Sylvie instructed them to not step over the flowers and Blue knew that already. Once they carefully threaded through the flowers they arrived at the little cabin that stood on the top of a hill.

"Is that it?" Red asked.

"Yup! Yup! Come on, let's head inside!" Sylvie exclaimed. As she said this, she used one of her ribbons to twist the doorknob and open the door. "Pops! I'm home!" Sylvie yelled.

"Sylvie? Is that you?" A voice said, coming from the other room.

"Yup! Yup!" Sylvie said.

A Glaceon appeared, coming from a office looking area. He had glasses and warm smile. Sylvie gave a hug to her pops as soon as he appeared.

"Ah, who might you three be?" The ice-type asked.

"I'm Red," Red introduced.

"I'm Lucario." Lucario added.

"And, I'm Blue." Blue finished.

"Yup! Yup! They're my friends." Sylvie said.

"Glad to see that you've made some friends.. It's quite late, do you care to join us for tonight?" The Glaceon asked, trying to be friendly.

"Uhm, sure! What do you guys think?" Lucario said, asking for Red and Blue's opinions.

"I don't mind." Red told Lucario

"Same here." Blue added.

"Yeah, we'll join you." Lucario finished.

"Great, I shall prepare your guest room. You guys may grab some dinner from the counter over there. Oh, and I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Glace." Glace said as he ventured off to the other room.

"So, do you guys wanna hang out outside?" Sylvie asked. Bored on anything to do.

"Sure, I don't mind." Red and Blue both said at the same time.

Lucario nodded and followed the group outside. Apparently they didn't notice but the house was a swinging chair, more like a plank of wood, it was hanging off of an oran berry tree. Red sat under the tree, catching a quick snooze, with the occasional oran berry falling on him; giving him a quick snack. Lucario joined him but on the other side of the tree. Blue just ran around trying to get used to his new form, seeing what abilities he could use. Sylvie tended to her flowers that she had been caring for, for years.

The breeze was nice on Red's fur. Not too cold, not too much. It was still relatively warm. His mind shot back to the hotel encounter with Valgion. He wondered why the evil organization were back and why he took on the form of a Riolu once more instead of the Lucario was used to, well not anymore, to being. The phrase that was spoken in his mind back in Lucia's house, made him recognize that another world-ending danger was approaching with the revival of Valgion. Though, he didn't know what he was looking for, nor, what the event was gonna entail. All he could do was face it like he always has… No matter the sacrifices.. His new teammates might need some work. Lucario seemed like a capable fighter even though he hasn't seen him fight before. Though Blue, he definitely wasn't perfect but he fights okay. Though, he still fights as if he still were human. Sylvie didn't really seem like the type to fight but she'd need to learn especially with how things are going. She was extremely fast which could get the team out of some pickles in the future. Now, it might be good to make a Exploration Team because he isn't apart of that team anymore, he abandoned it to relive a life he wasn't sure about reliving. Though, he couldn't live with how his life was at that moment. Team Time.. A nice idea.. that name would fit, since he has traveled the Sea of Time so, so, so, many times. He has lost count. He'll tell them later about the idea.. Red wandered about when his true identity would be discovered and how he'd need to explain.

"Hey, your room is ready! Come inside soon, the moon is already up." Glace yelled out, coughing at the end.

"Guess, that'll need to wait." Red whispered to himself.

"Hey guys, I'm gonna go head to bed, getting really tired." Lucario yelled out, making sure everyone heard him.

"I'll join ya, being thinking too much, y'know." Red answered, getting up and following Lucario.

"Alright, I got it, we'll be in shortly.." Blue said, continuing to dodge non-existent things.

Lucario and Red follow Glace into the room where they'll be staying at. It appears to have 3 hay beds, each suited to the size of Blue, Lucario, and Red respectively.

"Luckily, I had enough hay for you guys, I know it's no mattress for you youngins' but it should suit you for tonight." Glace said, hoping for Sylvie's new friends to be understanding.

"Yes, thank you!" Lucario said, being polite.

Red ran in and jumped straight into the stack of hay, immediately sleeping with such comfort that it surprised the both Pokémon who stood in the hallway.

"Heh, is he your brother or something?" Glace asked, wondering about the subject.

"No, just friends. Though, he's a special Riolu," Lucario responded.

"How so?" Glace asked, not quite comprehending on what Lucario is saying.

"He knows Aura Sphere, a move you can't learn until you evolve into a Lucario, so that's one reason. Plus, something is just telling me that he is a quite important role for this world." Lucario explained. Hopefully, explaining easily enough.

"Hah, I knew one too, quite the prodigy, though, sadly Valgion killed him. Was a darn shame. Could have been a strong fighter…. protect that Riolu, seems like a nice kiddo." Glace said, though whispered through the end.

"Sorry, I didn't catch that, say again?" Lucario said.

"Oh, nothing, well you should get to bed now.. You gotta get back to Realis Town in the morning." The Ice-Type suggested.

"Mhm, that's true, well, have a goodnight sir!" Lucario finished.

"Goodnight," Glace followed.

Lucario walked over to the stack of hay and laid down on it. Soon, a Gengar walked into the room and laid into his bed too.

Eventually, the sun peered through the window, with some pidgeys chirping outside. This immediately woke up Lucario who forgot where he was, then remembered soon after. Truthfully, he was a bit scared of what he was gonna be up against. Along with bringing two humans and potentially a young Sylveon into the mix. At this point, he was more worried about his friends then himself.

"Morning, Lucario.." Blue floated from out of his bed.

"Hey, Blue.. what's good?" Lucario responded.

"Apparently, I can float now." Blue said, floating all over the place.

"Good for you to know now, since it is quite a basic maneuver that Gastly learn at birth. Lucario stated.

"I guess Red hasn't woke up yet." Blue said, pointing out what he saw.

"Seems like he's sweating a bit, think he's having a bad dream?" Lucario asked.

"Oh, it's normal, he told me he gets them all the time and it's a non-issue. Just don't wake him up or he'll just be grumpy the whole day. He'll wake up soon anyway." Blue answered, making Lucario aware of what goes on with Red.

"Oh- okay, wonder what he's dreaming about.." Lucario understood.

In Red's mind, it was a void-like area where Red found himself stuck inside of. Red walked as a Lucario with a badge that resembled that of one from an Explorers Guild, and a bag that is used to carry advantageous items during an expedition. Though, it seemed empty. Red kept walking straight.. As usual, at least for Red, the void became blue. A Pokémon appeared from nowhere and spoke to Red.

"Thought you weren't coming back?" The figure asked, showing a sly smile.

"Yeah, well, I had no choice." Red responded.

"I know, I know, I saw." The figure said, "Valgion is back, aren't they?"

"Mhm," Red hummed. "Don't know why, actually, what about that prophecy thing?"

"What? Do you think I'm gonna decipher it for you?" The figure asked, laughing at the end.

"Fine, I'll just go wake up." Red huffed.

"Whatever, don't forget to go and head over to Nuberis Tower.." The figure said.

"Well, I'm a few ways away from the continent. I'll try." Red said, snapping his fingers and jolting awake.

"Waah! Where am I?" Red asked, following with Lucario's trend.

"Oh- right.." Red said until he heard a large explosion outside, then another, and another, and another. "Damn it, can't even get one moment of actually readjusting to- mmmm!"

Red stomped loudly throughout the house, seeming no one being inside to hear it or the large noise outside overpowering the stomps. As he walked, angrily, towards the front door.. He charged up an aura sphere, keeping it from becoming too big and destroying the house. Eventually, Red reached the door, slammed it open, threw the aura sphere into the air to get everyone outside's attention.

Red then yelled, "Alright, who the FUCK decided it would be a good idea to NOT give me a moment of peace when waking up. I want FUCKING ANSWERS." Clearly speaking to the group of easily identifiable Valgion members.

Everyone just stared as they also stayed quiet. Smoke came from the aura sphere as it gave more of a dramatic effect. From everyone's perspective, there was a figure that resembled a Riolu and extremely darkened red eyes. Signifying, Red was pissed.

"If Valgion doesn't disband with 72 hours, I swear, I'm going to do something I should have done all too long ago! So, Valgion, heed this as your warning since, this time.. I won't be so merciful." Red yelled, scaring everyone in the area.

"Kid.. You've got guts but let the adults handle this." A Valgion member said.

"Hey, isn't that who we are supposed to capture.. the Riolu?" Another Valgion member added.

"That's true! Leave these losers, get the Riolu at any cost. The boss wants to see him."

An extremely loud Valgion member said, seeming to look like a Loudred.

"That's cute." Red said swiftly, jumping into the air, and preparing another aura sphere.

Red's aura sphere grew extremely huge and was sent towards a Valgion member who seemed to be a Flareon. This sent that Pokémon flying for miles. All Blue, Sylveon, Lucario, and Glace could see was smoke and explosion after explosion.

"You seem to be as weak as ever, Valgion." Red said, focusing on the battle.

A Loudred came up behind Red and whacked him hard, sending him to the ground. This left a mark on Red's right arm, making the spot tender. Red got back up and used a Force Palm square in the Loudred's stomach. This caused Loudred to step back and trip over a small rock. He landed onto a little purple flower, crushing it in the process.

"I'll make this quick, since I have to go get going, so," Red said, fed up with the playtime, though…

Red started to perform a type of movement similar to the way a Rayquaza moves. Red was careful to be hidden in the smoke, to avoid anyone watching him perform a technique only his previous team and Rayquaza knew about. By performing this maneuver, it caused Red to mega-evolve as a Riolu. This form wasn't as powerful as Mega Lucario but was extremely well-rounded. Even so, not even Red has seen the form before.

Red found a Valgion member and threw him up into the air where the smoke wasn't covering it and briefly appeared above him. Now wielding a newly made aura sphere, Red launched it towards the Pokémon. The smoke now revealed that the Valgion member was a Primeape and the major damage increase and the already powerful aura sphere nearly made the Primeape unrecognizable. The other Valgion members saw this and pressed the button they had hidden and teleported back to their headquarters.

The Mega Evolution form for the Riolu wore off before the smoke cleared. Though, due to the energy usage from being in Mega Evolution, this caused Red to faint into a ditch; Red with his new Riolu body isn't used to the energy consumption. As the smoke cleared, Blue and Lucario ran into the remaining smoke looking for Red as no one has seen him come out of the smoke. Lucario found Red laying in the ditch breathing shallowly with a bruise on his arm.

"Hey! I found Red! He—'s not looking so good." Lucario yelled out, yelling to anyone who would listen.

"… Did you really think we left? We know he wouldn't last long in that form.." A voice said from the other side of the ditch.

"I'm not letting you get Red!" Lucario angrily said.

"Oh~ but you will."

"RED!—"

Author's Note

Okay, so I finished another chapter within 1 week! Well, like usual before I took a, what a 3-5 week hiatus? Also, where's Red going? I need him to tell me so I can make Chapter 9. Also, what's up with his backstory? It's like he's been here before? Whatever, he'll reveal it later, it's not like he wants to right now anyway. Might make a sister webstory to show the history of this world and Red's potential involvement. Though, he wouldn't be named Red as it isn't his real name plus he wouldn't remember his real name as in this story, it isn't his real name.
