Chapter 4: Village Liberation

P.O.U.R. Underground Bunker (Jordan's room) / 9:30pm
After they left the statue area, Malory showed the each of us our rooms and we both impressed. Each had a Queen-sized bed, a large closet and their bathroom and a small fridge that was stocked with drinks and snacks in it. Each room had a tempature control device in as well. Our luggage was safely delivered to our rooms as we arrived on the island (A special group of knights being lead by Wallace helped get their stuff after the kids arrived at the bunker). The rooms were in a private area of the vault that a knight by the name of Warren was in charge of keeping a eye. We both had a room next to each other and Jordan was in her room and she was getting things sorted out and she smiled and replied, "I have the best deck ever. I Can't wait to use more of it."
She was proud to have the deck she had. She had a Few Extra Deck cards and each card worked with each other in their own ways and she was proud of the final result and she smiled and replied, "Loving my deck right now."
She had knocking at his door and she walked over to it and opened it and I was staring at her and I decided to wear a beautiful white long shirt and purple shorts and I smiled and replied, "Hey, sweetie. How's the room?"
"Very nice, actually. It remains me of home. What's up?"
"Wanted to see if you were settled and wanted to see how you're doing, babe."
She nodded and resumed, "i'm quite well right now, hon. Thank you for checking on me."
I nodded and replied, "Sounds good. I have something for your deck."
I went into the side pocket of my shorts and took out 3 cards out of it and I handed them to her and she smiled and replied, "These cards were in my championship box I got back home and I don't have use for them myself."
She grabbed the cards and she looked at them and they were a effect monster and 2 Xyz monsters and she smiled and replied, "Thanks, sweetie. I'll use these cards in my deck."
"Anytime. See you in the morning, hon. Love you."
I smiled as we both gave each other a hug and then I left towards my room and then Jordan sighed and replied, "I love her so much."
She closed her door as well.

Tower of Fate Dentention Area / 11:00pm
Inside of the prison area of the tower, Fire Princess was locked up and the only Duel Spirit that was locked up. When a Knight or Duel Spirit that served the Enchantress or any of her knights was defeated in battle or a duel, they had to be punished for 2 days before being released again and if that one would fail 4 more times...It would be executed with no questions asked or even a trial.
Suddenly, the Black Knight walked in and a gold armored knight was with him and he saw the Duel Spirit laying down on the bench in his cell and he replied, "Evening, Firebug."
The spirit sighed and replied, "What do you want with me, Black Knight? After my duel with that brat, I was brought here and I have a day and a half left of my sentence."
The knight let out its annoying laugh and she moaned and and resumed, "Those kids were right about that laugh. It is so annoying."
"Everyone is a critic, even a hot one like you. I like to show you something."
Suddenly, two cards appeared in front of him and they were 4 effect monsters and the spirit sighed and replied, "Why are you showing me these cards anyway, Knight?"
"Simple. After your 2 days are done here, I give you these cards for your Fire deck and you duel either girl and if you win, you'll be the best first duelist in the world."
The spirit nodded happily and the knight nodded and replied, "Glad I could make a deal with with you, Princess. Enjoy your time down here and nighty night."
He left the prison area and then Black Knight looked at another knight and he replied, "Perces, is he guarding the village like the Enchantress wanted him to?"
The knight nodded and replied, "Yes, sir. He needed a few cards for his deck and he got them and he's ready to duel those brats at any time. I'll head there in the morning."
He nodded as they both left and the knight watching Fire Princess sat on a bench across from her cell and he sighed and replied, "Of all the crappy jobs I could get, I have to watch you of all things instead of doing something more impressive. What a job I have."
The spirit only sighed as she fell asleep on his bench.

The next day / P.O.U.R. underground bunker (Dining Room) / 9:45am
The next day and after a quick shower and bath, we were both in the dining room and enjoying breakfast with Lord Pridmoor and Malory. Pridmoor's sons were showering at the moment and would come out when they were done. The Gastromoner made both of us a ham and cheese omelet with country potatoes with onion on the side (Except for Malory who had a omelet with various veggies and cheese in it instead).
Erica smiled and replied, "This is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Your chef is really strong, sir."
The former king nodded and replied, "He really is. he trained in the best cafes and restaurants all over the world before coming back home to Pridmoor. He was lucky the Enchantress didn't find him first."
As we all continued to eat, two guys walked in and Lord Pridmoor pointed to them and he replied, "This is Riley and Dennis, my own children and they help out around the bunker and help me spy around Pridmoor Island as well."
They both waived as they both sat down and Riley looked at me and replied, "Nice to meet the great Dragon user herself. You are awesome as a duelist."
I nodded happily and then Dennis looked at Jordan and replied, "I've heard about your Ocean Deck as well. Sounds like a very powerful deck."
She smiled at him and Lord Pridmoor looked at his sons and replied, "Any news from the overworld, sons?"
Riley sighed and replied, "Jenna and Reid went to the village to grabe some supplies and get our vault passes back, but they were captured and are prisoners in the village! We need to get the village back under our control, dad."
"I know, son. I know."
I looked at them and replied, "What is a vault pass, sir?"
Dennis then replied, "I can answer that one. In a another part of our bunker, we have a small vault area that has our maps, money and personal family items as well as well. There is also a small vault of duel monsters cards as well that we've all found on the island. When that wench heard about our area, he sent Black Knight here and he disguised himself as one of our own and stole the only three vault passes we had. We've tried to head and find him, but we have no damn clue where he is or where the passes are now."
Jordan stood up and replied, "I can help you out like I did for us yesterday, sir. I want to help and we'll duel whoever is running the village."
"I can help myself if I can.", a voice said from the entrance to the dining area.
They all looked at the doors and a tall brown-haired woman with pink streaks in her hair and she was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans with a duel disk on her arm. She had tattoos of various colored stars and flowers down her left arm with a large red star above both of her hands. I could only gasp and replied, "No darn way. Manda, I finally get to see you after 5 long months!"
She smiled and ran over to me and we both hugged and Manda smiled and replied, "Missed you, sis. I've been on the island for a while now in the private area of the village for the summer after you all came to my college Graduation a while back and I'm here with my best friend Trevor. We'll be back in the States at the end of August and I when I heard you were coming, I had to see you again."
I only smiled and I then pointed to Erica and she replied, "This is my girlfriend Erica."
I pointed at Manda and resumed, "Erica, this is my younger sister Amanda and she likes to be called Manda."
Erica got up and walked over to her and she nodded and replied, "It's very nice to meet you, Manda. Ashlee is a great girl and I love her a lot."
Manda looked at her and she smiled and replied, "So glad I get to meet you. Take care of my sister for me when I'm not able too."
She nodded as they both shook hands and Lord Pridmoor smiled and replied, "She arrived here about 3 days ago and she didn't know that you were even coming here. Since you both related, you're both descendants of the great Shovel Knight."
Manda nodded and repleid, "Well do anything to help out and remind you all of our great grandfather and grandmother, sir."
"You both remind me of your granfather, ladies. If you think you can do it, go up there with Riley and do your best not to be captured by them. Are you kids up to it?"
I nodded and replied, "I wouldn't miss this kind of a duel for anything, sir."
Jordan nodded as well and replied, "Me neither. Can't wait to see whatever kind of deck she has."
"You are the most bravest kids ever, ladies. Riley, lead them up there."
They all got up and left and Dennis nodded and replied, "Let's hope for the best, dad."
The lord nodded as he contuned to eat his breakfast and then the Gastromer brought in a plate of sausage gravy over biscuits and with a small bowl of fruit on the side for Dennis and he sighed and replied, "This look amazing!"
Manda nodded as she started to eat and then I looked at my sis and resumed, "Where is Trevor now?"
She sighed and resumed, "He went up ahead to check out where any of the knights were and I haven't seen him since. I'm worried about him."
I nodded and then resumed, "We'll get him back, sis."
She smiled and we all returned to eating our breakfast.

Pridmoor Village / 10:15am
After leaving the bunker, we arrived at the center of the village. It was a small, but beautiful village. It was completely abandoned at the time and even the fountain was dry as well.
Erica sighed and replied, "What a waste of a village."
Manda nodded and replied, "You're right about that one, cousl This was a nice village at the time and now it's going to waste. Really sad here now."
Riley sighed and resumed, "This village is lonely because of those damn knights."
Suddenly, they saw 2 silver armor knights and a gold-armored knight coming their direction and Riley groaned and replied, "Here we go."
The knights stopped and the golden armored one replied, "Stop there, humans! This village belongs to the Quarter of New Order! Leave now before we arrest you like those other two spies you've sent our way!"
Manda then replied, "Not without a duel from me you won't. I challenge you to a duel."
The knight nodded and replied, "I like your style, kid. I want to duel you, but my boss would duel you Instead! Boss, we need ya!"
They heard laughing as a knight walked in and then it was in a beekeeper's outfit and he looked at the knight and resumed, "These the chosen ones, knight?"
He nodded and it laughed and its costume dissolved into particles and in its place was a teenaged boy with a blue-haired bowl cut and thick glasses and a green shirt with a large beetle on it and Jordan sighed and resumed, "It's Weevil Underwood!"
He laughed and replied, "Glad you know me, fool! I'm ready to keep this place for the Enchantress!"
Manda then replied, "We're not letting you fools keep this area! I have a challenge for you, Bug boy!"
She raised her arm and showed her duel disk and then replied, " We duel and I win, you hand over the village to us and if you win, I'll surrender myself and then let the others go."
He laughed and replied, "Can't resist a offer like that, kid. You got yourself a deal. If I do win, you'll be my newest prisoner and we'll get you to my boss as soon as we can."
She only sighed as a dark duel disk appeared on his arm and then Knight Perces looked at his boss and replied, "We can't afford to lose the village. We have to keep it as much as we can, sir."
He looked at him and replied, "It'll be no problem, Perces. I'll destroy this kids deck and there is no way I'm losing this village to these kids. With the cards the Enchantress and her troops let me have, this will be a easy win!"
"I still think that is a wager that we can't do right now, Master Dennis! The Enchantress with be furious with us if we lose this village!"
"Didn't your vagabond son say the same thing after he got bored serving us and wanted to something about it?"
He only sighed at that. His son Rowan was tired of serving him and he challenged the Mimic to to a duel and after he smashed through his deck, he had him arrested and he's been in the same cell as P.O.U.R. spies for about two weeks now. He slowly shook his head no and the former champion then replied, "You made a good decision there, Perces. You and your knights stand aside and don't do anything to disrupt our duel or you'll being talking with the Enchantress later about why you did so!"
As Perces and his knights stepped back, both duel disks began to glow and then the insect duelist smiled evily and resumed, "Let's get this duel over with already, lady."
Before Manda could stand in front of him, I tapped her on the shoulder and replied, "Take him down, sis."
She smiled and then she stood across from him and both activated their duel disks and then disks auto-shuffled the decks and both drew 5 cards and the he replied, "Ready for my deck to smash on through your deck, fool?"
"You'll never beat me, Weevil! My deck is ready for anything you send my way."
"I can't wait to see what you send my way, you foolish brat!"
"Game on!", both yelled out.

Weevil smiled and resumed, "Once your out of the way, I'm going to ask the Enchantress if we can turn this horrid place into a beautiful insect sanctuary! It would be a beautiful place!"
Manda stared at him and resumed, "That won't happen because I'm not going to lose to you, bug boy!"
"We'll soon see about that, lady! Make the first move."
She looked at her hand and resumed, "I'll set a monster for later and that's all I can for now."
He drew a card and then he resumed, "Let's see you handle my Desert Tarantula!"
He played the card and a large brown-haired tarantula appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Attack with your Desert Poison Fangs!"
The large bug slowly walked in and a Fiend with rhino's head appeared on the card (DEF:900) and the spider bit the FIend on its arm and it moaned as its skin turned dark black before it burst into shards and she smiled and resumed, "Thannks to my Fiendish Rhino Warrior's effect, I can discard a Fiend monster from my deck."
She quickly grabbed a card from it and discarded it.
"I'll set a card of my own and that's all for me."
She drew a card and resumed, "I summon my my Archfiend Soldier!"
She played and a demonic soldier appeared (ATK: 1,900) and I nodded as well. I knew she played a FIend deck and I was going to see how amazing it looks."
"Destroy his big spider!"
It went and swung his sword at and cut into its side. It screeched in pain before it collapsed to the ground and shattered to pieces (Weevil LP: 8000 - 7700).
"Weevil, you'll never beat me! I end my turn now."
HE drew a card and resumed, "I'll find a way to beat you, lady. I activate my facedown."
The trap appeared and it was a Needlebug's Nest and he took the top 5 cards of his deck (Which 3 were monsters and the others were a Spell and Trap Card and discarded them and Erica then replied, "What is bug boy up to?"
"I'll set a new monster and that'll end my turn for now."
She drew a card and resumed, "Gil Garth, come forth!"
She played the card and a robotic-like Fiend with a large cleavor for a weapon appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Solder, attack!"
The soldier went and a howling Insect appeared on the card (DEF: 1,300) before her monster sliced it in half with a single slice of his sword. The pieces shattered to bits and then Weevil smiled and resumed, "I Special Summon my Guard Mantis!"
He played the card and a large mantis appeared and it knelt (DEF: 2,400).
"What a monster. Your move again."
He drew a card and replied, "I'll discard my Anteatereatingant to activate my Overdone Burial!"
He discarded the card and his spell appeared and then a chainsaw insect appeared (ATK: 2,400) and Jordan groaned and resumed, "I hate to admit it, but that was a decent move. Now she won't get a draw thanks to that spell's effect."
"Your friend is correct about that one, lady! I now activate my Forest Field Spell!"
He opened his field slot and slid the card and then most of the village as the mighty forest formed around him (ATK: 2,400 - 2,600) - (DEF: 2,400 - 2,600)
Attack his Gil Garth!"
The large insect and swung his mandibles down and cut cleanly though the metallic Fiend and sparks flew as the halves collapsed into fiery metal (Manda LP: 8000 - 7200).
"There you go! I end my turn now."
Manda drew a new card and resumed, "I'll switch my Soldier to defense and then I"ll set a new monster facedown and a card facedown and that's all for me."
He drew a new card and then he resumed, "I sumomn my Neo Bug!"
He played the card and another large bug appeared (ATK: 1,800 - 2,000).
"Chainsaw, attack!"
It quickly rushed and it swung its mandibles and it struck, cutting her soldier down and blowing it into pixels.
"Neo Bug, attack!"
The large bug flew in and a small demon girl with 4 wings and a long black tail appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) and the bug flew and she smiled and pushed the bug back and she smiled and resumed, "Your monster is a bit too weak to take down my Alice, Lady of Lament."
"Lucky you. I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I activate my Charge Into a Dark World."
The spell appeared and she resumed, "I summon one of my favorite monsters that I put in the graveyard with my Rhino's effect. I bring forth my Lilith, Lady of Lament!"
She played the card and and a winged demon-like lady appeared (ATK: 2,000) and she looked back at Alice and the Fiends nodded to each other.
"I now have to discard a FIend as the cost of my Spell."
She took a Dark Mimic LV1 and discarded it and then resumed, "I now activate a rare Spell I have in my deck. I activate my Raging Flame of Hell!"
The spell appeared.
"If I control a Fiend monster, I can destroy a Field Spell and then all Non-Fiends lose 1,000 attack and then we both take 1000 damage!"
The eyes of her Fiends began to glow as the huge burst of hellfire shot out and each tree collapsed into burning timbers and ash and then burn marks appeared on his insects (ATK: 2,600 - 1,400) - (ATK: 2,000 - 800) and then burning embers struck them both (Weevil LP: 7600- 6600 - (Manda LP: 7200 - 6200)
"I activate my Birthright!"
The trap appeared and her Archfiend Soldier appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Time for some fighting. Lilith, attack!"
Her eyes began to glow as two beams of pure dark energy shot out from her eyes and and it cleaved the Neo Bug in two. The pieces caught on fire and burned to ashes.
"Soldier, attack!"
It went and the soldier went and slashed down and struck the large bug and it collapsed to the ground and exploded into pixels (Weevil LP: 6600 - 5000).
"Try that one, bug boy. I end my turn now."
He drew a card and then resumed, "I'll set a monster and that's all I can do right now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Winged Minion."
She played the card and a small winged Fiend appeared (ATK: 700).
"I tribute it to boost Lilith's power up!"
The small demon flew in and her body absorbed the tiny creature (ATK: 2,000 - 3,000).
"Destroy his Mantis!"
She smiled evily as two fiery beams of dark energy shot out and cut through the Guard Matnis like it was made of paper.
"Soldier, attack!"
The evil soldier charged in and a more dangerous and ferocious man eater bug appeared (DEF: 600) and Weevil smiled evily and resumed, "Since you flipped my Mimicking Man-Eater Bug, I can destroy one of your monsters and it gains attack equal to its base attack!"
It flew and slashed her Lilith across her torso and she moaned and then exploded into pixels and then the bug began more demonic with black skin and sharp claws and teeth (ATK: 450 - 2,450).
"Crap, what a effect. I can't do anything else this turn."
Weevil drew a card and resumed, "I'll activate my Dark Factory of Mass Production."
He grabbed his Neo Bug and Desert Tarantula and he played it as the large bug appeared again (ATK: 1,800) and then he resumed, "I use the effect of my Bio-Insect Armor and equip it to my Neo Bug!"
A green bug flew onto the field and landed on top of the creature (ATK: 1,800 - 3,000).
"Lets do this. Man-Eater, attack!"
She flew in and slashed at the Alice and she made angered face before she shattered as well.
"Neo Bug, aim and fire!"
The large bug fired a set of lasers and they shot out and slammed into the Soldier and blew it little pieces (Manda LP: 6200 - 5100).
"Take that, lady! I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I'll set a monster and a card for later and that's all I can do."
He drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Rose Papillon!"
She played the card and strange butterfly-like bug appeared (ATK: 1,400).
"Since I control bug, it can attack you directly!"
The wings of the bug glowed as a burst of toxic pink spores shot out and slammed into her (Manda LP: 5100 - 3700).
"Neo Bug, aim and fire!"
The bug fired its cannons on tbe bug and a wave of lasers shot out and her Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and the laser attack pierced the jar and blew it to small pieces of rock and she discarded a couple of cards and he discarded a single card and then drew 5 cards and then Weevil resumed, "Direct attack!"
The large bug charged in and she smiled and discarded a card and wall of furry Kuribohs slammed blocked the large bug from eaching her.
"I hate that furry rat! I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I activate my Call of the Haunted to bring back the monster I discarded with my Jar!"
The trap appeared and a Fiend with half of dragon-like body with a long tail and it had flowing black hair as well (ATK: 2,300).
"Meet the mighty and powerful Diabolica the Draconique General and she's my favorite monster right now as well. I play Mystical Space Typhoon!"
The storm began and shot out and slammed and blasted the equipped bug to bits and then the Neo Bug faded away into pixels as well and She smiled and resumed, "I know about that effect as well. I'll banish the Breakthrough Skill I discarded earlier as well to weaken your bug!"
She banished the card and went back to being its original type (ATK: 2,450 - 450).
"I summon my Optlclops!"
She played the card and the one-eyed ogre-like FIend appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Diabolica, attack!"
She went and drove his trident-like weapon into the chest of the large bug and it let out a screech before it shattered to pieces.
"Opticlops, attack!"
The fiend charged and slammed its body into the butterlly and it flew backwards before dissolving in a cloud of pink smoke (Weevil LP: 5000 - 2750) And Erica nodded and resumed, "Her Fiend deck has been amazing so far. What a duelist she is."
I really had to agree. She always wanted to be known as the Demon of the South with the deck she had and she was getting that title more and more now.
"Take that, Weevil! I end my turn now."
He drew a card and then resumed, "Time for something new. I summon my Beetron."
He played it and a large beetle flew onto the field (ATK: 1,600) and then the Bio-Insect equipped to it again.
"I now activate my Cocoon of Ultra Evolution and tribute it to summon one of my best cards!"
The spell appeared and a large golden cocoon formed around his monster and then a huge moth with giant-sized wings appeared (ATK: 3,500).
"Meet the mighty and powerful Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth!"
Manda saw the monster and resumed, "This might be trouble."
She saw the giant moth and resumed, "I'm in a bit of trouble now."
You are right now. Blast her away that Opticlops!"
THe huge moth glowed as a s huge storm of wind formed around the the field and both of her Fiends held on as best they could before the giant insect blasted another huge gust of wind and it shot out and Optlclops blew apart in a shower of small pixelated pieces that flew around her side of the Field (Manda LP: 3700 - 2000).
"There you go! I End my turn now."
Manda drew a card and resumed, "I'll switch my Diabolica to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and a card facedown and that's all for me."
He drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Insect Knight!"
The mantis-like knight appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Moth, attack!"
The huge insect flapped its wings as a huge gust of wind shot and blew around her Diabolica and the she looked back at Manda and nodded to her both she dissolved into black globules and Manda could ony sigh as he monster was no more.
"Knight, attack!"
It flew in and a Sangan appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and he swung his sword at the cute Fiend and struck it down and blew it to shards and she quickly grabbed a card from her deck.
"Lucky move for you, lady. Make your move."
She drew a card and she smiled and resumed, "Time for the end of this duel. I activate Monster Reborn!"
The spell appeared and her Diabolica came back (ATK: 2,300) and Weevil saw her and resumed, "Why bring her back of all monsters?"
"Because she's my favorite card of my deck of course. I now activate my Curse of the Masked Beast."
The spell appeared.
"I'll use my Ritual Raven and thanks to its ability, it can be used as a the full tribute for a Dark Ritual monster!"
A strange crow-like Fiend appeared and faded away into pixels as the mighty Masked Beast appeared (ATK: 3,200).
"I also summon my Mad Archfiend!"
She played the card and the strange bone-like Fiend appeared (ATK :1,800)
"Destroy his Moth!"
The strange Fiend glowed (ATK: 1,800) and then she resumed, "I activate Bark of the Dark Ruler!"
The trap appeared.
"I'll ditch 1,900 lifepoints to give a bit more power!"
She moaned (Manda LP: 2000 - 100) and the moth let out a screech (ATK: 3,500 - 1,600) and the Fiend glowed as a burst of sharp bone shards shot out and slammed into the chest of the giant moth and it screeched in pain before collapsed to the ground and then erupted in a huge explosion of pixels that covered the field (Weevil LP: 2750 - 2550).
"Masked Beast, attack!"
The huge Ritual monster charfed and slammed its cudgel into the bug warrior and it screeched in pain before it shattered to pieces (Weevil LP: 2550 - 1250) and he moaned and resumed, "The Quater of New Order will take you all down soon enough!"
"We'll be ready you all send our way, bug boy! Diabolica, end this!"
The female Fiend charged in and slammed its trident into him and knocked him down (Weevil LP: 1250 - 0) and I was so darn impressed with her deck and then Jordan smiled and resumed, "What a powerful deck she uses!"
He moaned as he stood up and resumed, "I'm out of here!"
He glowed and a portal made of dark energy appeared and he quickly ran and it then faded away and then Perces looked at them and resumed, "What are you going to do with us knights?"
Riley then replied, "I'm a son of Lord Pridmoor and if you join our group for good, we'll forget about you ever being loyal to her group."
The lead knight nodded and resumed, "That is really fair. We accept the offer."
"Glad to hear it. Lead us to our friends now, please."
He nodded and we all followed him towards the detention area of the village.
