My Beautiful Doll

Warning: Non consensual touching, but not very drastic as well. Rotten ass vibes from the resident fake bitch.

A/N: Hey! So...I know this is outside of my usual Monday post and I did say last chapter that while I've written quite a few more chapters ahead, y'all are gonna have to wait until Monday to get them. Well...scratch that for this one. This was one of my favourites to write and I'm an impatient person so I will bless (or curse) y'all with this chapter. The other ones though are going to be more on schedule...maybe (I mean if you like this, early releases because of my impatience would almost certainly be a win for you guys). Also, to the guest and Dinogal who either commented on this fic or the other ones I've written, y'all are a G and your comments keep me going, so thanks so much for that. Hope you guys like this chapter and have a nice day!

Don stood there as his heart continued to beat loudly in his chest. An illogical part of him wondered whether Baker could hear it and was just toying with him. It seemed like something he would do, the bastard.

Letting out a soft exhale, careful not to alert Baker of his presence, Don took a small peek below. Baker was still there, a flashlight in hand. But there was something else that he held. Something that was familiar to Don even in the fading light.

There in Baker's hand was one of Don's metal baseball bats.

Fuck he mentally swore. That did not bode well for him at all. Don couldn't see Baker's face from where he was, but he would bet all of his money that it was nothing good. He pressed himself further against the tree, begging that the man didn't look up. The branch that he was on wasn't the thickest, so one wrong move and he could give away his location. But he also knew that he couldn't stay up there forever.

"Come on…I know you're around here…" Baker said, looking around. "You can't hide from me forever, my pretty little doll~". Then he waved the bat around, slinging it over his shoulder. "Come out now, and I promise I'll forgive this little disobedience".

Don didn't have to be a mind reader to see the blatant lie in that statement.

"Don't worry," he called out, "you'll be safe with me~"

The only place I'll be safe is back at the office, FAR away from your craziness Don thought to himself. There was no way in hell he was going down now, not with Baker being so close. So with baited breath, he prayed for something, anything that would get Baker away from his location.

There were a few tense moments as Don waited for the man to walk away. But unfortunately, he didn't. Go. Away. It seemed like the bastard had a built in Don Eppes-radar by how much he's pacing around the tree. He desperately looked around to see if there was something he could use, but it came up empty. He didn't even have anything in his pockets, probably to make sure that Don couldn't try and use them to escape.

Looking down, he could see that Baker was no longer beneath him but rather further in front, looking around the area with his flashlight, baseball bat ready to bash his skull in. Don knew that in general, people don't tend to look up. But judging by how intense the man was searching, Don wondered how long it would take before he became the exception to that rule.

It felt like eternity was passing by. The tension building up with each passing second. Don could feel every drop of sweat dripping down his neck, the burn in his lungs, and chill biting into his skin. Every single one of his senses were heightened, screaming at him to run.

Don could hear Baker let out a sigh of annoyance before turning back, slowly walking away. He let out a sigh of relief, shifting his weight to the other foot. But then he froze, the branch that was holding him up wobbled slightly, the leaves rustling against each other. Don could hear the footsteps stop, the crunching of leaves indicating that he had turned around.

"I hear you~"

SHIT! Don didn't dare to take a breath, afraid of jostling the tree even more. His heart beating in tandem with Baker's footsteps.

THUMP

THUMP

THUMP

Slowly he got closer once again, peeking around the tree trunk just in case Don was hiding behind it. "Where are you…" he muttered underneath his breath, scratching his head with the flashlight. As he did, Baker unknowingly illuminated Don's location, shining the bright light right onto him like a spotlight.

Don't look up. Don't look up. Don't look up.

Suddenly, there were rustling sounds coming from the distance. Don could see Baker's grin spreading slowly across his face. "There you are~" he said before he ran into that direction, the leaves crunching against his feet.

Don waited until it sounded like he was a good distance away before gingerly getting down, making sure his landing was as soft as possible. As soon as he got down, he booked it, following the tracks nearby.

He didn't know how long he ran, but judging by the sun, it could probably be an hour. He knew he had to get out fast before the darkness came or else he'd just be running around blind. At that point, with the flashlight and his knowledge of the forest, Baker would have the advantage.

C'mon, c'mon, c'mon…THERE!

Don would've cheered for joy when he caught sight of the cement road. Fueled by adrenaline, he ran faster until he reached the street. Once there, he stopped, panting due to the effort. Looking at his left, he couldn't see much other than an empty stretch of road. But when he looked to his right, he saw buildings, their lights twinkling like stars in the horizon.

He grinned, I'm so close! The city looked far, but that didn't matter. As long as he knew where to go, he would be fine. He let out a sigh of relief, slowing down slightly towards the city. Just a little bit mo-

Crunch!

Don whirled around in instinct, his heart thundering in his chest. But there wasn't anything there, just trees. It's probably a squirrel or something he reasoned. He let out a sigh of relief then turned around, ready to get back to safety. But before he could even take a step, he heard a rush of footsteps before pain exploded from his knee with a sickening crunch.

He went down screaming at the sudden intense pain. His leg burned like it never had before and he could feel the bone within his leg poking, his kneecap completely dislocated from its original position. His vision turned white for a brief second as his mind struggled to push through the agony. Breathing heavily through clenched teeth, he looked up and saw the smug smile on Baker's face.

"Ah, I've found you~"

"Asshole…" Don growled, clutching his leg.

Baker rolled his eyes. "Don't give me that attitude" he admonished, "I did warn you". Then he crouched down, reaching out his arm towards Don's broken leg.

"Don't touch me!" he snarled.

Baker ignored him as his hand touched Don's leg, rubbing circles around Don's knee in a way that would've been soothing if it weren't for the fact that Baker was the crazy son of a bitch who broke it in the first place. "Oh, my poor darling angel…" he cooed sympathetically, "It must hurt so much". Then without warning, his fingers dug into Don's skin, crushing the broken bone. Don screamed as the intense pain rolled from his leg to his entire body, his vision blurring. "I should've done this earlier," he said coolly. Even through the haze of pain, Don could hear the controlled anger beneath it. "Oh well" he shrugged, "at least now, you can't run away from me" he said, smiling at Don. His green eyes were now cold, betraying the true nature of the man.

"Fuck you" he hissed, ignoring his rapid heartbeat and the fear that started to wash over him. Focus on your pain, keep your head in the game.

Baker clicked his tongue. "I thought we've been over this by now but it seems like you continue to ignore me". His hand continues to go up and down Don's leg, making him tense up. Then he applied pressure, slowly pressing into the mangled limb. Don clenched his jaw hard to keep from screaming out again, not willing to give the sick bastard the satisfaction. He curled in over himself, breathing heavily as he tried to ride out the pain.

Don could feel a cold hand wipe the sweat from his forehead before trailing down the side of his face. "My sweet, beautiful doll. I wish you weren't so stubborn" the man sighed, running his hand on Don's cheek. Don tried to get his head away, but then the man grabbed him by the shirt collar, pulling him up. "I'm done playing nice" he growled, "Resist me and I'll make sure your other leg follows suit".

Don froze, the chilling tone making him shiver with fear. Shit he swore. This was really, really bad.

Seeing Don stop moving caused Baker to smile again, this time wide and warm. "That's my pretty little doll. I knew that with persistence on my end, I'll make you see reason bit by bit". He let go of Don's collar and instead cupped the side of Don's face, his grip tense and tight. Don had a sinking feeling that this time, escape won't be so easy. Baker ran a gentle thumb across Don's lower lip lovingly.

"We're going to have so much fun together."

A/N: *GASP* ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER?! WHO COULD HAVE FORESEEN THISSSSS?

I'm kidding. I will 100% tie Don to a cliff ledge above sharks for fun :) (and I call him my all time favourite character)
