As we were flying, I noticed how warm the air was compared to how it was the night before. It made my flight all the more pleasant for me, although Blu looked a little exhausted, possibly because he was more used to Minnesota weather, which was much colder than I am used to. But I digress.
Anyway, after a few minutes of flying we arrived at a clearing where what looked like toucan chicks started peeking out from the foliage.
"Oh no, it's them again." said Blu.
I was about to ask what he was talking about, before I remembered the scene in the movie where those little Toucans started attacking them before Rafael showed up.
I thought to myself, "Oh, those must be the little rascals that did a number on you two the first time you met..."
"Hey, look, it's Rafael!" Jewel said, before I could finish.
"Hey, Lovebirds! How are you doing?" he said.
"We are doing fine, all things considered." said Blu.
Rafael noticed his chicks in the foliage.
"Carlos, you weren't going to attack Blu and Jewel again, were you?"
Then they came out and Carlos said, "What? No. We don't do that anymore." They looked a little older than they were in the movie, more like Blu and Jewel's own children in the second movie.
"We're just playing hide and seek with Sofia."
Sofia was nearby counting up to one hundred.
"ninety eight, ninety nine, one hundred. Ready or not, here I come!"
The other chicks hid again, hoping Sofia hadn't heard Rafael talking to them.
As they resumed their game, Blu said, "We are actually here because I found this bird in the middle of the jungle, alone."
Then I said to Rafael, "I know this may sound crazy, but I am actually a human who was turned into a bird. I have no idea how this happened to me, which is why we thought you might be able to help us find out what happened to me."
Rafael then thought for a moment and said, "Well, lucky for you, I know everyone. There may be someone I know who can help you."
"Follow me." He said, and we all took off as he led the way to what I hoped to be an answer to my predicament.
As we were taking flight I heard Sofia below me say, "There you are!" as she found her brothers in the foliage.
