I'll return immediately. I've got my book bag downstairs. I must show you guys something I have inside of it. Says Carlos as he bolts from the room.
His three closest friends eventually find the strength to talk while he's not around.
"This is a disaster, Kendall. He genuinely believes that aliens exist. James remarks, worried
"It's simply his overactive imagination." Logan emphasizes
"Dude, you don't know him like we do. He genuinely thinks there is undoubtedly extraterrestrial life in space. Kendall clarifies
"I hear him returning." When he shows us what he has, don't criticize him. Logan cautions
"I located it." Coming back into the room, Carlos says.
What is that? Kendall states
"I received this newspaper item this morning from my papa. According to the story, an earthly map, a warp speedometer, and a blaster were found in the backyard of a Michigan lad our age. From that point on, he was the most popular student at his school. I will not be here for that type of attention if the same thing happens to me. Popularity is not something I seek. I merely desire to hang together with an amazing extraterrestrial pal. Speaking candidly, Carlos says
"Well, if that's what you truly desire, then perhaps your wish will be granted." James offers as much encouragement as he can.
"My papi says I exude optimism." Carlos responds, grateful for the praise from the man he greatly admires.
He's accurate. Indeed, you do. Logan remarks, nodding
Have you ever considered the possibility that the story may have been overblown, Carlos? Kendall declares
"Obviously not, no. It seems accurate to me. Why? Carlos remarks
"Because, well, when we're young, we'll make up all kinds of bizarre things to get attention, and this Michigan child may have done exactly that. " Trying not to offend him, Kendall says.
Kendall, you are incorrect. This child was honest. Carlos remarks
"Give up while you're ahead." In a careful tone, Logan speaks to the towering blonde.
"Alright Carlos, you're correct. Excuse me." Taking Logan's advise to heart, Kendall says.
"Thank you for that. I'm grateful. Says Carlos
As the door creaks open, they catch a glimpse of Katie inside. Kendall gets annoyed when she enters without asking, as she frequently does, despite his repeated advice to obtain permission.
Katie, what do you want? He sighs and says
"Please, could you guys play with me?" Her response comes in a cute tiny voice.
"We're busy, sorry. Move on." Kendall remarks, not caring that he sounds so severe.
"Mommy told me to tell you that you must do this." Says Katie
Feeling irritated, Kendall leaves the room.
Mother! Is playing with Katie really necessary? To keep herself occupied, she has a plenty of toys.
"Alone play is not her favorite activity. You are aware of this. Take her out for a couple games, please. As she watches a romantic comedy while drinking a nutrient-booster drink on the coach, Ms. Knight comments.
He gives up and sighs, knowing he will lose the debate.
Put on your shoes and coat, Katie!
He asks her to come back upstairs.
After getting dressed depending on the weather condition, the children head outdoors to the backyard and choose what to do.
