The Saiyan Prince let out a stream of profanities as his ship swayed unsecurely in space. Without any doubt he knew that the ship wasn't going to make it back to the base. He clutched his side as without warning a sudden surge of pain shot from it.

Blood was pouring out from where the pain was, slipping through the fingers of his white glove. He was bleeding from where the hiding scum soldier on the planet had stabbed him, on the planet Meuta.

He had lost a battle, but how?

And to a member of a weakling race of creatures.

No matter.

For now. He thought with murderous rage.

Now was not the time to consider the absurdity of the lost battle, or even to consider revenge: First he needed to worry about surviving and then would come later the rest.

He needed to land and soon. His damaged ship had no longer the ability of communication after being blasted by some warriors of the planet as he made his escape from the planet.

The ship is going to shut down soon. He thought in fear.

It's lights kept frequently shutting on and off as it was zooming through space.

The fear of it shutting of at any second grew intensely for the Saiyan.

No! You will not die out on me you blasted thing! Vegeta mentally roared, his fists slamming down furiously on his thighs.

I have yet to kill Frieza and his slaves! Yet to get vengeance! Yet claim my rightful place!

I'm sure not going to allow myself to sit floating in space like some space rock waiting either to die, or wait for eternity for rescue!

He needed to hurry and find the closest habitable planet to land on and set the coordinates.

With blood drenched fingers, Vegeta used what little strength he had left and typed on to the keyboard of the ship's screen.

The Prince looked wildly for the closest visible planet he could survive on near by.

Vegeta's eyes widened at the result, being given a familiar planet's name from the ship.

Earth

E-Earth?!..that's Kakarott's planet!

Quickly, without even much more strength left to think the royal set the ship's course before falling into unconsciousness.

"Es-tim-ated arriv-val to Earth.. Eight hours."

Spoke through static the breaking voice of the ship to the unconscious prince, before taking a strong right turn, heading towards it's new path.

The raven haired princess let out a sad sigh as she stared at her reflection in one of the many palace's garden ponds.

You're never going to marry. You'll die childless and alone. No family. No husband and friends. You'll have nobody once your dad dies.

All alone.

Alllll alone. Sang the voice, mocking.

You're too ugly to get married! Worthless!

"Hmph!" Princess Chichi grunted angrily at the thoughts that popped into her mind, scowling. She crossed her arms, fuming at the thoughts and closed her eyes.

Ever since a month ago at the world martial arts tournament when Goku had broken her hopes and dreams of them marrying, the Princess found herself bombarded with the same reoccurring thoughts that would trouble her, worsening the pain of her shattered heart.

"Mornin' Pumpkin! Picked you something." A cheerful voice sang.

Chichi looked up from where she sat and there headed towards her with a wide smile on his face was her enormous and jolly father, walking with a bouquet of many different types of beautiful flowers of vibrant colors.

Chichi's face lit up and she smiled at the sight.

She loved flowers.

"Oh, Dad! Thank you! How wonderful!" She exclaimed as her father handed her the bouquet. She brought the flowers underneath her chin and bent her face down and sniffed deeply at them and then let out a joyful giggle after.

"They smell delightful!"

Her father chuckled in return.

"Ha! Thought they'd bring a smile to your face. Your welcome, Sweetie."

"Hard to believe the flowers are blossoming already. Time sure does fly fast, huh, Dad?" Chichi said sadly. "Seems like only a week ago it was winter and snowing."

The ox king frowned, knowing what his daughter was thinking.

She was a gorgeous young woman and so intelligent and brave and kind and any young man would be lucky to have her!.. and.. She couldn't see that.

She had no reason to fear that as time moved by she would find herself forever being alone. She would have a line of noble suitors waiting, if only she would allow him to look for some for her.

"Chichi, I know you're still hurting because of Goku, but listen-"

A loud rumbling similar to the sound of thunder filled their ears, the sound was coming from up above, somewhere in the sky.

The ox king turned around and quickly looked up.

Chichi in fear swiftly stared up into the sky, looking away from her flowers that she held.

She then stood up.

"Daddy, what is it?!" Chichi asked confused and fearful. It sounded like nothing she ever heard before.

"I-I don't know, Chi.."

"Look!" She yelled and pointed as the source of the booming noise came into view, without thought she dropped her beautiful flowers, the bouquet falling to the stone ground.

In the sky a small flaming orb could be seen, having past the clouds. Closer and closer it was headed towards the earth, recklessly. Both Chichi and her father watched holding their breath as abruptly the orb crashed into the earth about a mile away from where they stood, where Chichi knew there was an empty field. With a loud boom, the noise of the crash had shook the ground underneath their feet.

"Was..that a...space..ship?" The ox king asked in fear, nervously. He looked over his shoulder and saw that to his surprise Chichi was no longer there. He looked frantically for her, this way and that, until spotting her running off towards the direction of the ship.

"Chichi?! What are you doing?!" Yelled her father after her in surprise.

"Daddy, get me my medical supplies and the medical staff! Whoever or whatever was in that ship is going to need help after that landing." Chichi yelled as she ran quickly to the ship.

if they're even alive anymore, that is. Chichi thought to herself sadly.

Chi-Chi was breathing hard as she neared the ship, beads of sweat running down her face and dripping off her chin.

She was now nearly twenty feet away from the ship and she could see through it's cracked door that inside it laid an unconscious and seriously injured man.

His injuries didnt look like one would expect from surviving a crash. Based on her time of learning martial Arts, they looked like injuries sustained in fighting.

"Hey! Are you alright?!" Chi-Chi called out in concern reflexively as she ran to the ship. It was only a second after her question that she realized the foolishness of asking an unconscious man if he was alright.

After a few seconds past, as if in reply to her question the ship unexpectedly exploded, it's cracked door audibly blasting open and shattering in mid-air like confetti.

Pain, pain and more pain was what was greeted the saiyan prince as he entered consciousness.

Every type of foul word he could think of he uttered in his mind at the pure agony that besieged his body.

Opening his coal black eyes he discovered to his surprise that he was lying down in a dim-litted cozy room. The walls were covered in fancy art paintings of strange foreign animals of many kinds. There was a vase near to his head beside the bed where he laid, filled with flowers, types flowers he never seen before. Their sweet scent was pleasantly pungent he had to admit reluctantly.

He looked down at himself with one eye clenched shut from the pain and with gritted teeth. Vegeta let out a loud hiss at the sight of himself; someone had obviously treated and bandaged his wounds: his entire body was covered in white wrappings.

Where.. Where am I? He wondered, slightly disoriented.

Freiza and his goons must found me. Did my ship somehow manage to send a distress signal and my coordinates?

Wait, ... Why am I still injured then?

it couldn't have been frieza and his men who have found me. Otherwise, I'd already be half healed and submerged in water.

... Then who treated me and bandaged my injuries?.. Who helped me?

Could it be?..

...

Ka-karott?

"Daaad, food's almost ready!" Sang a nice sounding female voice.

The unexpectant light feminine voice brought forth quickly a stunned expression on vegeta's face.

How?!

That's obviously a female's voice.. But kakarott was sent to destroy every native life on this planet!

The sound of footsteps approaching neared his room and then moments later appeared in his sight at the doorway was a raven haired female.

She was certainly a sight to behold; beautiful onyx eyes with Ivory fair skin without blemish. But, he had defiantly seen more fairer females on other planets.

Her stunned expression at seeing the conscious prince conscious had made his previous stunned expression look minuscule in comparison.

The young female let out a loud gasp and dropped the wooden spoon she was holding, it fell to the floor with a clang, dropping with it the broth and the noodles that it had been holding.

The woman covered her mouth and nose with both of her hands in shock, staying frozen like that for a good five seconds before suddenly exclaiming; "You're awake!"
