Himiko had been looking forward to drinking Izuku's blood for months. Late at night, she'd lain awake gnawing on her own wrist and imagining it to be his soft neck. It had started out as an amusement, a desire to become someone who intrigued her. It had evolved into an obsession. Unfortunately hero students had gotten harder to nibble on as U.A. had increased security. Oh, how many nights she'd regretted not making her move before the students dorms had been built.
Unexpectedly, she'd gotten her chance when U.A. held a blood drive. It had been laughably easy to sneak in and steal the blood bag belonging to her target, with no one the wiser.
Himiko couldn't wait. She slurped the package as she skipped away from the hospital van, licking at the plastic to get every last drop of that sweet iron taste. As she ran, she changed, her legs growing longer and her body more muscled. Green hair fell over her forehead. The entire world looked more interesting from Izuku's eyes.
Humming, Himiko strode into the League of Villain's current headquarters. Dabi lay on the sofa reading a magazine. With a strangled gasp, he lit the magazine on fire and leapt to his feet. "We're under attack!"
"It's just me," Himiko said, posing with her fingers in a V over her right eye. "Don't I look cute? Personally, I think I'm very cute right now."
Dabi relaxed, dissipating the fireball in his hands. "Don't scare me like that, weirdo." He cursed under his breath as he cleaned up the remains of his magazine.
Himiko took the stairs two at a time, running into the bathroom so she could gaze at her face in the mirror. Aw, just look at those freckles! Adorable! The door had a full-length mirror. She spun around, examining herself at all angles. "You're ripped, Izuku," she giggled, feeling her new chest muscles.
"Ew, are you a pervert?" a disembodied voice asked.
Himiko jumped so high her head nearly hit the ceiling. She did not enjoy the sensation of someone sneaking up on her—she preferred to do that to other people. But though she checked behind the shower curtain and under the sink, no one was there.
"How interesting," the same voice continued, seeming to come from inside her head. "We're still with Ninth, but we have a link to you, too. It must be because you drank his blood. I'm First, by the way."
"Nice to meet you, First," Himiko said, refusing to be daunted by such a fun situation even if she hadn't the faintest idea what was going on. At this point, she hadn't eliminated the possibility that Dabi had torched her and she was hallucinating in the hospital.
"Third here," a deeper voice said. "Villain or not, it's a good thing you stole Ninth's blood. Transmitting us into an innocent civilian might have had some…side-effects. We could have warned him if we hadn't been in the middle of a Monopoly game and if someone hadn't slowed us down by refusing to trade any properties."
First said cheerfully, "Who won? Oh, right, me!"
"You play Monopoly like your brother," Third muttered.
"Low blow!" First cried.
A female voice said, "Wonderful, fresh meat to torment. We can give our current holder a break. I expect we'll only be around until your quirk wears off. In the meantime, I'm Seventh. Nice to meet you."
Himiko's nose scrunched up. "Are you Izuku's quirk? Whoa, awesome! I got his quirk! I feel even more like him now." She tried to summon a spark of green energy, but nothing happened. Funnily, she felt the flow of power when she reached for it. But it was cut off from her by an impenetrable barrier.
A raspy, acidic voice said, "Nice try. We are the un-stealable quirk. No one can use us without our approval. Even All for One himself cannot touch us, much less a little girl like you."
Third said, "That drama king is Second, by the way. And we're more like ghosts."
"You know Sensei?" Himiko asked, intrigued.
Second snorted. "We know him. We've fought him in countless battles across the century—"
"Ugh, do we have to always define ourselves by All for One?" A loud voice boomed through her mind. "Fifth here! I think we should brag about our accomplishments against other villains. There are countless ones we've actually defeated. Why keep harping on the one who got away?"
Seventh insisted, "He didn't get away. Our Eighth defeated All for One twice."
"Fourth here." The new voice sounded soft. "Fifth has a point. What's so great about All for One? If not for his power, he'd just be a nobody. He's not particularly creative or smart. Why are we always going on about that loser?"
"Hell yeah," Fifth agreed. "Remember when we whipped Toxic Chainsaw's ass? Or how about Destro? He was before my time but I heard you three sent him crying back to his precious mommy."
Himiko laughed until tears streamed down her borrowed cheeks. "You guys are a riot!" She counted in her head. "I've met First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Seventh. Where's Sixth?"
"I'm coming, I just finished cleaning up after Monopoly." The newest ghost sounded like a teenager. He had a soft, cute voice. "By the way, Eighth doesn't talk, but he's been glaring at you disapprovingly ever since you stole Ninth's body."
Himiko shrugged. "I'm not afraid of ghosts."
"You call us mere ghosts?" First's voice took on a melodious quality, a hum harsh to the human ear. "We are the first heroes, the light against the darkness, the defier of death, the doom of evil!" A howling mist rose up, obscuring the room and sending the shelves shaking. The air smelled like the dirt from a grave.
Himiko laughed and clapped her hands. "That was amazing! Do it again, pleeeeeeeease."
"Heh." First chuckled. "You know what? I like you, villain or not."
"Thanks, I like you too." Himiko smiled. Then she pouted to realize she'd never be able to drink a ghost's blood. Aw, what a bummer!
Sixth asked, "Shouldn't we be doing something more useful with this opportunity? Such as spying on All for One?"
"We've tried before." Second sighed, "Trust me, that dick rarely does anything except monologue in front of the mirror. He doesn't actually have long-term plans, no matter what he claims. He's making it up as he goes along."
"Or we could talk about love." Himiko clapped her hands. "So there's a boy I like. But I've also been getting squishy feelings around this girl, too. It's confusing."
First said, "Date them both, you have two hands."
"Ooooo! Truly, you are a wise eldritch being." Himiko nodded. "Ochaco already likes Izuku so that's an easy solution—"
"Hold up!" First shrieked. "You were talking about our sweet and adorable Ninth? Nuh-uh, no way. I refuse to let you break up my TodoDeku OTP. Our one-minute-long friendship is over, villain!"
Fifth shouted over him, "I'll accept it as long as you include Ochaco because that's my favorite pairing!"
"No one is giving Hitoshi a fair chance because he's not in 1-A," Second insisted.
Seventh gasped. "Help me hold back Eighth, he's going berserk."
The ghosts dissolved into squabbling and shouting over each other. Sixth groaned, "Did you have to start the shipping wars again? There's only one way to stop them now. One bait that no hero can resist." He raised his voice and shouted, "Everyone, this girl needs our help!"
The voices quieted down. "I do?" Himiko asked.
"Yes," Sixth said firmly. "You need us to help you manage your quirk urges, which have clearly completely taken you over."
Second said, "Back in my day, we didn't have these ridiculous laws restricting the usage of our powers—"
"Because people killed us on sight," Third pointed out.
"—and because we used our powers often—"
"Again, to defend our lives, the past was not a golden age for metahumans."
Stubbornly, Second continued, "—we didn't suffer from such strong urges. You just need to learn to let out your powers in harmless ways."
Himiko stared at her own unfamiliar reflection, hating the sad feelings welling up. "I drink blood. It's not harmless. Everyone says it's creepy and gross. No one wants me to use it."
Invisible fingers brushed against Himiko's scarred wrist, a cool and gentle touch. "Poor thing," Seventh crooned. "You're not creepy. Ghosts like us are creepy."
"I can't out-creep a ghost," Himiko admitted slowly. Acceptance felt good, filled a craving deep inside her—even coming from a bunch of mentally unstable dead people.
"There are many interesting uses for your power," Fourth said. "You could work in forensics, analyzing blood and solving crimes."
"Ooo! You could replicate rare blood types in emergencies," Fifth said.
"You'd be a great underground hero," Sixth added. "Perfect for spying and infiltration. I would know, those used to be my specialties."
"Regular animal blood would help with the cravings," First said. "With the right connections, you might gain access to a blood bank. I've seen heroes cut through all kinds of red tape to get what they need to use their powers. It's just a shame the same consideration isn't offered to anyone else."
The ghosts surrounded Himiko, offering her ideas and encouragement. Eventually she went to her bedroom to lie down and continue talking to them. The conversation shifted to her daily life with the League of Villains. She didn't notice at first when the voices stopped, continuing to chatter to herself. Her voice trailed off. When she looked in the mirror resting on her nightstand, she saw her own face again. A sharp sense of loss pierced her.
Oh well, she would just have to steal Izuku's blood again so she could talk to her new friends!
Himiko skipped downstairs, looking for All for One. She finally found him in the basement, examining an experiment on a slab. The smells were delicious, but Himiko ignored the temptation to focus on her mission. She'd made a promise to her friend First. She called, "I drank Izuku Midoriya's blood."
All for One's head shot up. "Why didn't you come to me before it wore off? We could have used this!"
"Nah, the quirk's haunted. They wouldn't have cooperated. I met your brother's ghost, and he had a message for you."
The scalpel slipped from All for One's numb fingers. He leaned toward her, his eyes blazing. His lips parted, but no sound came out. He looked dazed.
"Hmm, what was it again? He said it was very important message." Himiko tapped her chin.
"Tell me!" All for One demanded, grabbing her shoulders and shaking her.
"Your brother says your coat makes your butt look fat." Then Himiko skipped out of the room while All for One stood stunned behind her.
OMAKE TIME!
Omake: Vestige Chatter
Third: All that big talk last fic, and then we got stolen because Yoichi was distracted being a sore winner at Monopoly.
Yoichi: Excuse me, I said we couldn't be stolen, I never said we couldn't be temporarily borrowed. You're just salty because you landed on my Boardwalk with a hotel twice.

Omake: The Roast Part Two
All for One: Surely there was another part to that message.
Himiko: Your brother also said if you were aiming for a Demon King cosplay, you got your belt wrong. The skull is supposed to have diamonds in the eyes instead of sapphires. And he insisted I should call you a fake fan. If you want to hear more insults, I can keep going, he had a lot to say.

Omake: Cassandra Truth
Himiko: So then it turns out Izuku's quirk has seven and a half ghosts inside. They're hilarious. Do you think we can recruit our own ghosts? If the heroes have ghosts then it only seems fair we villains get some too. After all, we kill more people!
Tomura: Did the blood you drank have alcohol content by any chance?
Dabi: I believe you, and I'm already coming up with a couple conspiracies.

Omake: Back Home
First: Ninth, we're back!
Izuku: You could have stayed away longer. I was enjoying the quiet.
Sixth: That's no way to treat us. We got a plethora of information from the girl who stole your blood. She told us all about League plans. Actually it turns out they barely plan long-term.
Second: She's adorable, especially her super-cute bloodthirstiness. I've decided she's like the daughter Yoichi and I never had.
First: I agree to this adoption. Now Ninth can't date his new sister.
Izuku: Wait, when did I get adopted by you?
First: The moment I laid eyes on you. It's a done deal, you can't resist. I already took over your body in your sleep to sign the adoption paperwork and file it at town hall. Also, All for One might stalk you now he knows about us. Sorry, I couldn't resist insulting him. I've been having withdrawal symptoms from going decades without a proper brotherly roasting.
Seventh: FYI, you should never donate your blood again, because if it went to someone besides a thief with a shapeshifting quirk then their body would probably explode.
Izuku: Slow down, my blood got stolen?
