Para siempre : The Announcement

Mirabel and Miguel finished packing up and it look like it was getting dark. So they walked hand in hand out of the plaza, Miguel had Mirabel's head on his shoulder as they walked peacefully back to the Rivera hacienda.
"How do I deserve you?" Miguel asked his Fiancée
"I should be asking you that question ". Mirabel replied
"No lo se". Miguel answers
They quickly and quietly walked in while everyone was asleep. Mirabel put down the basket and held Miguel's hand as they went to Their room. Miguel and Mirabel went under the covers and began making love.
They quickly fell asleep soon after in each other's arms.
~~~ The Next Morning ~~~
Miguel looked over at his fiancée with such love as she rustled in his arms. He couldn't help but kiss her sweet sugary lips.
Soon after Mirabel awoke.
"Good Morning Señora Rivera ". Miguel smiled
"Good Morning Musico ". Mirabel laughed
"You ready to tell them yet?" Mirabel asked
"Not yet". Miguel snuggles in her Embrace and she cuddled further in.
After about 10 Minutes they got up and got dressed. Miguel got dressed in a Red flannel and jeans and Mirabel in A purple dress covered in Mariposa, Miguel's jaw dropped and then he smiled.
"What do you think too much?" Mirabel asked
"No. Tu eres Muy Hermosa Mi Amor " Miguel smiled
He twirled her around and they went downstairs love in each other's eyes.
~~~ Downstairs ~~~
The Rivera kitchen was full of love, life and Laughter the smell of freshly made Huevoes ranchos cooking in the air. Socorro was talking to manny and Benny . The sound of brooms sweeping in the shoe shop were filling the air.
"Buenos Dias Famila ". Miguel said
"Morning Mija, Mijo come sit". Luisa gestured to some chairs.
"Morning Mira". Coco laughed
"Hola Coco". Mirabel tickles her
Miguel smiles at the sight at both his Hermana and his Mirabel getting along. Mirabel planted kisses all over Coco's face.
"Did you sleep well Hermanita?" Miguel asked
"Si". Coco jumped up and down.
"Someone's a little excited this Morning ". Mirabel stated
"Come grab your hair brush and sit". She gestured to the floor for Coco to sit
So with that Coco grabbed her hair brush and sat.
"You know Hermanita you've got hair just like Me very thick and luscious but very hard to brush sometimes ". Mirabel starts
"Really?" Coco asked
"Si when I was little Mi Mamá would try and get as many knots out as she could before she gave up. So my Tia pepa had to do it". Mirabel finishes
"Si every time I try to brush it she screams". Miguel smiled
"That's because your too rough with it ". Coco complains
Mirabel laughs and rolls her eyes.
"Well we have got something to tell you". Miguel nods to Mirabel
"We are engaged ". Mirabel says
At this Luisa and Elena stopped what they are doing and went over to Mirabel . They screamed and laughed.
"Oh Dios Mio Mira are you serious?" Elena asked
"Yes". Mirabel showed the ring.
Elena then hugged the girl very tight , Miguel was worried she was going to pop.
"Abuelita careful you're taking the life out of Mira". Miguel yelled as he said it Elena let go.
"Sorry Mija". Elena apologised
"Estas bien ". She laughed
Luisa went over and pressed kisses to her forehead and welcomed her to the family , Enrique hugged her and kissed her forehead and Rosa got shown the ring.
"I am going to get a sister-in-law ". Coco piped up and hugged Mirabel's legs.
"Si". Mirabel laughed and lifted her up and cuddled her.
Miguel went in on the group hug and they loved it , They started talking about the plans for the wedding. Miguel just rolled his eyes and kissed Mirabel's hand.
"Would you slow down they just got Engaged ". Rosa yelled
"I hope Augustín and Julieta are okay". Enrique said
"Don't worry Papa we will tell them , it's not them I am worried about". She looked towards Miguel with a worried face.
"I am sure they will be ecstatic ". Elena smiles
"I hope so". Mirabel replies
They soon left with Breakfast in their stomachs , Miguel 's family had a last round of hugs before the couple started heading for the Encanto.
~~~At the Encanto ~~~
They arrived at the Encanto and waited, Casita was there to greet them .
"I am so nervous ". Mirabel looked worried
"Don't worry Mi Amor it's going to be okay ". Miguel reassures
"I hope your right". She nodded
Casita opened the doors and let them in. The house was busing with excitement and everything was lively.
Antonio looked and noticed Mirabel and Miguel came through the door. Dolores and Mariano soon Noticed and hugged them.
"Mira, Mira!!" Antonio yelled
"Hola Tonito ". Mirabel picked Antonio up and gave him a big squeeze.
Mariano and Dolores gave her a big hug and so did Andrea her Prima. Julieta came and hugged and prepped Mirabel and Miguel 's faces with kisses. Augustin came and hugged them both. Soon the whole family joined in on the hug.
"So What are you doing here Mi vida?" Pepa asked
"Actually I came to talk to you about something ". Mirabel started
"What is it?" Augustin asked
"Did Mirabel steal Arepas again?" Camilo joked
Bruno looked expectantly at Miguel and smiled.
"We're Engaged ". Miguel announced.
"W-w-What ". Isabela stammered.
Augustin and Julieta went over and hugged Miguel .
"Congratulations Mijo, Although went she gets mad your going to have to find a way to calm Miraboo when she gets mad". Augustin laughed
"Papa don't encourage him". Mirabel looked tempered
"Don't worry I know how to calm her". Miguel laughed
"Congratulations Hermano ". Luisa and Isabela said
"Now you can try and help me out with the plants". Isabela looked excited
"Isa". Luisa hissed
"It's fine Lu I am sure we can figure out a way to calm those plants of yours". Miguel laughed
"Careful looks like your in for life Miguel those things Will eat you and there is no getting out ". Camilo Exclaimed
"I am going to have a primo". Antonio piped up
"Yep looks like it Tonito". Miguel picked up Antonio and tickled him.
"Let's see the ring". Felix asked
So Mirabel showed the ring and they all gasped she looked at Miguel who mouthed 'I told you' and she just rolled her eyes.
Just then she noticed Bruno from far away and looked at him and the sadness in his eyes was not hidden. Mirabel told Miguel she was going to talk to Bruno he responded by giving a quick peck on the lips. Then went to go to play with Antonio.
"Tio come back here". Mirabel said
She ran out into the courtyard to catch up with him. He then stopped and forced a smile Mirabel didn't look at all convinced.
"Oh Mira What are you doing here?" Bruno tried to Act stupid
"Nice try Bruno Madrigal don't play Estupido with me you know that doesn't work". Mirabel started
"I don't know what you mean". Bruno finished
Mirabel rolled her eyes.
"This is about me getting Married isn't it". Mirabel cut straight to the point.
"No". Bruno lied
"Tio". Mirabel uses a warning tone.
"Look I know this is hard for you and I am sorry ". Mirabel cried
"What are you sorry for Mariposa?" Bruno looked confused
"But-" Mirabel was cut off by getting embraced by her Tio .
"I am just so happy for you Mira, Miguel is a good man I was the one doing the vision I knew he Was going to propose to you I know him long enough to know that he will never hurt you". Bruno replied
"You mean". Mirabel stopped
"Si". He nodded
Mirabel looked at him and jokingly hit him in the arm.
"What was that for?" Bruno questioned
"That's for scaring me". She laughed
Mirabel and Bruno went back into the kitchen were they were met with the family. Mirabel hugged Bruno again and then went to Miguel.
"How did it go". Miguel asked
She hit him jokingly and then kissed him passionately .
"I can't believe you Miguel Rivera". Mirabel stated
"What?" He asked
"You scared me half to death telling Tio that he didn't approve ". Mirabel started
"Bruno how could you". Julieta said
"Lo siento Julie". Bruno apologised
"Well now that's out of the way can we all eat now I am starving ". Camilo asked
"Si". Pepa nodded
The rest of the night was spent eating and joking and laughing. Yes all is right with Mirabel And Miguel and their famila.
