X-Men: Evolution Revolution Season 01 Episode 03
We see a girl in goth attire with brown hair and white bangs leaning against a railing on a dock somewhere and we see some guys in school jackets coming over with one guy dragging the other. She'd turned to see them and questions "Can I help you?"
"Um. Uh.. Dance, you, me.. Uhm would you like to?" The blond guy questioned stuttering and tripping over his words. Seems no matter what some things really never changed.
"Oh, what the hell. One dance can't hurt right?" She'd questioned and began walking back towards inside the building followed by the blond guy.
While they were dancing his friend had shoved the blond guy into the girl making both of them fall with some people watching what was actually going on. "Hey I'm sorry." The guy spoke and tried to help her up but something strange happened and she began trying to pull away from him. When she did the guy fanited and people were starting to worry.
The Girl had started to get flashes of the guy growing up in her head. "Ugh, my head, what's happening to me?" She'd questioned confused by everything that she'd seen and tried to run off leaving the party.
We then cut to the Professor calling out Stop, that's all we can afford for now!" with a man in a ninja outfit and long blades jutting out of his knuckles removed his mask revealing it was Logan who'd done so.
"Hey, when I give a demo, I give a demo." Logan then called out starting to head over towards the exit.
"Is that demo as in demolish or demonstration?" Scott questioned about what was being shown. Turning towards woman with white hair named Storm. "What exactly was the point in this anyway?"
"The point, young Cyclops was to teach you about finding the weakpoints in sophisticated secruity systems." Storm then answered back while messing with some controls.
"That's right bub, and I'd say ours needs a little work." Logan answered coming in through the lift and walking over. "The vents were pretty easily breached, gonna need to fix that. Maybe electrify them or install poison gas sprayers."
"Wolverine." Storm scolded in response and had given him a look that made him sigh in response to them.
"Alright alright, knockout gas then." He then suggested instead of the poison gas he'd suggested earlier.
Kitty had shuddered slightly and questions "Is it just me, or is anyone else freaked out by all this?" while the others just looked confused by that.
"X-Men, we have an emergency. Scott, prep the Blackbird for launch, and since it's a weekend assemble the whole team." Professor Xavier spoke spoke coming in through the lift as well.
"Yes sir." Scott then answered back standing at attention ready to do as he was asked. "What's the mission?"
"Cerebro has detected a new mutant and my mental impressions from the scene indicate a highly disturbed individual. Our mutant may pose as a danger to herself and possibly others as well." The Professor answered back about just what's going on now. "X-Men, we have a Rogue."
We then see the Jet flying off with Hunter piloting it alongside Cyclops and the latter of the two says "I've logged our flightplan with the FAA, we're cleared through from here to Jackson. We'll take the Van from there."
"Good Scott, you're picking up Logistics quickly." The Professor then stated to them about how he'd planned out the route.
"We're cleared to travel straight through the Plumber Checkpoints en route, E.T.A. 8:37 P.M." Hunter then also added about being able to get through faster.
"Wow, those two really have their stuff together." Kitty spoke to Jean about the guys up front. "It's cool, and they're also kinda cute."
"Cute?" Jean questioned hearing that and took another look at the guys. "Well, maybe from a certain angle."
"Hey Scott, can you hold it for a minute without me, I feel like stretching my wings for a bit." Hunter then questioned while stating he needed to stretch for a sec.
"Go ahead, but uh.. wings?" Scott answered back giving him the go ahead but was a little confused by the wording but Hunter had Bamfed out of the copilot seat for a minute surprising the others that he'd just vanished on them.
After a few minutes or so he'd then teleported back into his seat stretching out saying "That's much better." Before then taking the controls again to help out with the piloting.
We then see the girl from before with the white bangs going over to a building getting flashes of a man coming out of a door and had checked up top of the walkway's roof finding a spare key and going inside of it. She'd made her way upstairs to a room and began going through a photo album and sitting down onto the bed.
"All this is.. me? But which me am I?" She'd questioned putting down the book and going over to the mirror before getting frustrated and knocked over the trophies on the desk when someone kicked oepn the door.
The person looked like Wolverere in his uniform lunging to kick her and breaked the clothset door scaring her and making her run away scared from them. Jumping back to Hunter we see that he was looking around alongside Logan and Kitty. "The Prof says that the girl's mind is too difficult to pinpoint so unless you've got a better idea keep looking!"
"I have a better idea. Let's just check the boy's house. She absorbed parts of his mind, shot in the dark maybe she'd go where he would go if he was in a bad situation." Hunter then suggested to them and they'd looked at him funny but then they'd gone to do just that.
Logan then stopped and sniffed saying "I'm picking up the scent, I smell fear." He'd told them and began to run towards it with us then seeing that the girl had been helped up by a woman with a walking stick.
"That's him, that guy in the orange attacked me!" She'd called scared and Hunter stopped grabbing Wolverine.
"Logan stop, it's clear something's got her spooked and it involves you. Let me and Kitty go, you contact the others." He'd told them saying to just let the two of them go too.
"Okay Elf, you wanna go be my guest. I'll go and find the Prof, and keep an eye on the Half-Pint here." Wolverine told them annoying Kitty that he'd called her that.
The two had raced off with Kitty phasing them through the fence as they went. "Hi there." Hunter spoke casually saying hello and she looked scared but he'd held up his badge stating. "Don't be frightened, I'm a Plumber. We can help. My name is Hunter, this is Kitty."
"I'm uh.. I'm.. I don't know who I am!" The girl spoke trying to calm down but was frustrated about not being able to piece things together properly.
"Ya that tends to happen when there's a melding of minds, but I know a man who can help you with that. Would you like to meet him?" Hunter explained to her about knowing someone who could help. "For now, how about we call you.. Rogue."
"Oh I.. I'm not sure." The girl stated about meeting this guy they were talking about "All this crazy stuff is happening, and I don't even know what I am."
"You're a mutant, sorta like being Metahuman but with a different thing giving you your powers." Kitty answered back about the what part.
"More or less, ya." He'd agreed with Kitty. "Rogue, just sit down for a moment take a deep breath, and focus. Follow the memories that you have made recently backwards, that will help give you answers about what happened." He added with a calm and relaxing tone of voice.
The girl that he was calling Rogue took a deep breath and sat down up against the trunk of the tree going backwards to the events. "I was attacked by a woman with white hair, and the guy in orange and black.. before that I used a spare key to go into what I thought was my house.. and was wandering the streets.
"Good, and what about before that?" He then questioned her calming helping her to relax and focus on what happened before.
"It.. It was the school dance, it happened at the dance. I was dancing with a guy and he'd been shoved by his friend making him fall over on me and when he grabbed my wrist to help me up.. that's when everything started." Rogue stated back to him remembering what happened now.
"So, do you wanna meet The Professor, he could like, totally help you shut up tose thoughts of that guy in your head." Kitty then questioned while telling Rogue that their friend could help her be rid of those thoughts.
"Good you found the girl I'll take it from here Hunter." The voice of Logan spoke up with his claws out ready to take over and scaring the girl more now.
"Easy there Rogue, that's not the Real Logan." Hunter then stated to them about who that person was.
"What are you talking about of course I'm real." They'd then responded to Hunter calling them a fake.
"No, definately not real. The Real Logan has literally never called me by my actual name since the day I met him. If I had to hazard a guess, Mysitque right? I read your files on the computer." Hunter then stated to them which had made them look slightly surprised but then tried to continue the guise.
"He's right about that!" A second Voice of Logan called as a second Logan appeared and attacked the first. "Stay away from the girl Mystique we won't let you use her for your own selfish and evil motives!"
"Wha, but.. now which one is the real one?" Kitty questioned surprised to see that there were now two of Logan.
"Classic Doppleganger trope, unfortunately for them Wolverine isn't the only one here who can smell a fake." Hunter then explained to them as the others appeared as well. "Dragons have a heightened senses too." He then walked over to the two of them and struck one of them into the back of the neck like he did that guy at Kitty's old school knocking them out and making them revert back to their true form which was that of a blue skinned woman with white hair.
"What's going on, who is that?" Roue questioned not understanding everything that was going on and didn't know if she should run or not. "Long story short, this woman pretended to be Logan and attacked you so that you'd think we were the bad guys. But anyway this is Professor Xavier, he can help you with your little problem with the memories. So, wanna join the X-Men?"
The girl that he'd been calling Rogue looked around at everyone who at least seemed to want to help her and nodded saying "Yes."
