AN: This is one of the chapters I had some online research to come up with ideas.
Summary: IT pays a visit. He's already left a calling card before.
Title: It Wasn't Me
Melanie
Justin had remembered the bats from the year before that Brian had done. He didn't want to do that again. They seemed to scare Melanie, but it wasn't something awesome. He had thought and thought of what he could do. Her second fear was clowns. He remembered all about how she wouldn't watch the movie IT when Brian had suggested they put it on. She had said if he even dared she'd be cashing in on the life insurance for Gus early. She'd kill him and since she was a lawyer, she'd get away with it.
It had given Justin the idea, so it was why days ago he'd left a red balloon in Melanie's office. He'd easily gotten in down there when it had been busy. He'd also given the guy a blow job to keep him from telling about what he had planned. He had heard all about it that night when he'd popped in for dinner. She had been bitching the whole time at what Brian had done. Of course, Brian hadn't been the culprit. Lindsay had even defended him that time saying it wasn't possible. She'd been with Brian for lunch that day. Melanie was still convinced he'd somehow done it though.
He had put a note on her desk too a quote that the clown always said in the movie. 'They all float down here.' He had come up with his best clown design the day before. He put it outside the living room window before he'd put the package in the mailbox for Lindsay. It was standing there looking towards the house as close to the window as he'd been able to get it. He had put it on the side window so the neighbor across the street wouldn't see him. He'd remembered the ones on that side of the house had moved. All he had to do was wait and see if he could scare Melanie. There was a red balloon like in his hand as well. He didn't want it to fly away and hurt any animals. So, he'd faked this balloon just in case. He wanted to spend a little time with Gus before he started that prank though.
Justin lifted Gus up when he saw that he was awake giving him a smile. He wanted kids some day and he figured helping take care of Gus at times was practice. He never minded babysitting and always volunteered when he got a chance. He'd even convinced Brian multiple times to come with him instead of going out some nights. He knew Brian loved Gus even if he tried to play like he wanted to only be a weekend here and there dad. He sat facing the door in the rocking chair so he could see if someone walked in. He wasn't about to get his own scare, but he was sure Brian would try when he got back and discovered what he'd been up to.
"So, when you are older, I think I'm going to get you to help me out." Justin said telling Gus in a low voice what he'd already done.
He figured that Gus would be a great help and they could team up to get Brian. He wondered if Brian would try and get him on his side though. Maybe the three of them could go big and get everyone. He talked to him for a while longer before he heard Lindsay calling him to see if he wanted something to eat. He'd turned food down at Debbie's, but it might help if he suggested they go in the living room to eat. He said he'd be down in a few. He went ahead and checked to see if Gus needed a change, but he was dry. Brian was always making him do the changes if it smelt horrible. He brought Gus down with him because he wasn't ready to give the little guy up.
"Do you two watch any scary movies? I always love Charlie Brown's one even though it's not scary." Justin said.
"Hell no, but Linsday likes them." Melanie complained looking at her partner.
"Brian's got some I thought I'd watch this month. Since I'm not at home don't have to worry about Molly freaking out. Though the only one that ever still gets to her is that one with the freaking looking dude. Oh it's like a two letter title about a clown." Justin said faking like he didn't know the title.
"The movie's IT and Melanie hates it." Lindsay laughed. "Not last year, but the year before Brian put one of those fake IT masks on and rang the bell." Melanie about beat the hell out of him.
"I still say he's the one that put that balloon in my office the other day. He could have done it before he met you. I was in meetings that morning." Melanie said glaring at Lindsay for laughing. "Laugh it up he got you with that brain and last year with the spiders."
"Spiders, Brian touched a spider. He hates those, even the fake ones." Justin said.
Lindsay groaned explaining that the spiders were in a rigged box that hadn't needed to be touched by the one that rigged it up. So, Brian hadn't needed to touch or look at them. She had gotten him back in return with a real one she'd borrowed from a friend. She figured him passing out was enough justice. She still hadn't told anyone he'd fainted when he'd found the thing. That was between the two of them. No need to give any motivation to others to tease her friend. He had been exhausted and crashed on the couch. She'd put it on his face, so when he'd woken up it was there and scream, oh boy had he screamed, then fainted.
"Epic on getting him back. Would loved to have seen his reaction." Justin said. "You think it's dark in here or is it me?" He asked lining up his plan. "I don't know if you might try and get me." He said shifting Gus to his other arm so he wouldn't see the clown in the window. He didn't want to scare him.
"I don't, but Linds does. She wouldn't play one on you though, you're innocent." Melanie said. "Thank god, Brian hasn't rubbed off on you that much yet." She still got up going over to the side window pulling the curtains back.
The scream that she let out was almost deafening and Justin winced. Gus started crying and Lindsay was up moving to see what was wrong. Melanie was ranting after all and there were lots of words about what she planned on doing to a certain man that wasn't even in the state. Justin got up with Gus going to see what was wrong. He also got him to stop crying as he looked at his handy work on the outside of the window. The thing would probably look creepier at night, but he needed to get Michael tonight so he wouldn't be able to be here.
"Oh wow, that looks so messed up." Justin said. "There's even a balloon in his hand."
He reached into his pocket carefully and pushed the sound box remote which trigged the one inside the mask to start talking. It said the same thing that had been on the balloon he'd gotten into Melanie's office about everybody floats. It also gave out an evil laugh before it turned off. If he had Gus no one could suspect that he was behind this. They would still blame it on Brian, he was sure. He never once said it was though and it couldn't be his fault if they thought it, was Brain, right?
"Gus will be fatherless when I get a hold of that bastard." Melanie growled out. "I told you he put the balloon in my office. That was the warning, he usually doesn't give warnings, but this time he didn't get me with the balloon, so he used that." She shook her fist turning to look at the two of them.
Justin noticed that Lindsay was trying not to laugh. She was clearly amused at the clown he'd rigged up for this scare. He'd have to remember that she wasn't scared of them along with bats. He wasn't scared of them either but didn't want to seem like he was in on anything or thought it was cool. It was why he offered to help her get Brian back if she wanted his help. That was the only thing he felt bad about. They were all going to blame Brian, but he couldn't let them get his man back. He liked Brian's cock just where it was at also in his ass and mouth.
"I'm not great with pranks, but I'm sure I could find some if I used the school computer Monday." Justin said.
"NO, I am going to be getting him back myself. The fucker wants to bring out the big guns then we will be at war then." Melanie said before she took her son from Justin. "I'm taking Gus upstairs with me. I need to plan what I'm going to do with his asshole of a sperm donor." She growled out. "You can sleep elsewhere tonight if you find it so funny." She added glaring at Linday who was laughing.
"I'm sorry Mel, but I just can't take it seriously." Lindsay said looking back at the clown. The thing was almost perfect. "You might want to warn Brian she's going to get him when you see him." She said once she stopped laughing.
"I will." Justin said seeing why he couldn't let a slight smile out if Lindsay was. "It is pretty cool and creepie. Didn't expect it to start talking." He added.
"Brian has out done himself this year that's for sure. He usually uses simple stuff, but I guess he wanted to go for a good scare. Make sure you are on the look out Justin. He might pull something even more epic than this on you. You do live with him after all." Lindsay said before they went back over to finish their lunch.
It had been another win, Justin figured. He only needed to come up with a way to get the clown gone without letting on he was the one that planted the thing. He had spent the most on getting it done so he wanted it back. He also had plans to use it again with Brian if he could. Though he found by a small prank yesterday that Brian didn't scare easily. He'd have to do something or some things all at once to get him. Clowns also wouldn't work he remembered since Brian had done a clown mask two years ago according to Lindsay.
