An: hi everyone, and welcome back to What's magic Scooby Doo. We are nearing the time when Ivy fills in the gang on her background, but it will be another couple of chapters. Although we will see Ivy take more of a part in this chapter, as opposed to the last 2. Anyway enjoy the chapter, even though this is my third least favorite episode of the series.

Episode 4: Big Scare in the Big Easy

– Separator –

Our view opens as a tour bus drives down the road. The bus is full of happily chating people. There is a man sitting at the front of the bus giving details to those sitting behind him.

Without warning the bus hits something int the road causing the bus to swurve, and pull to the side of the road. Two men step out to examine the damage.

Before they can even look at the side of the bus that hit the object both men hear a noise causing them to look up to see a pair of ghosts standing on 1 side of the road. Both ghosts appear to be holding old fassion guns. Those that look out the bus windows scream in fright.

The 2 men jump back into the tour bus, and the bus roars out of there.

Our view shifts to a busy city during a party. We find the gang enjoying themselves.

Fred is watching Daphne.

Daphne herself is examining the jewelery on display.

Velma is reading a book on New Orleans. Out of all of them she seems to be having the least amount of fun.

Shaggy and Scooby are eating treets. "Spring break in New Orleans. This is the coolest!"

Scooby nods, before spotting something. He runs off, and pounces on a food stand that is empty for now. Scooby grabs a large hotdog, and scarfs it down. Everyone laughs at the look on Scooby's face.

Velma snaps her book shut. "Witch way to the hotel Shaggy?"

"Beets me. It's in 1 of these brochures." Shaggy leaf's through a pile of brochures he has collected. "Let's see, ah here it is. Leland, Gables."

Fred consults a map. "According to the map, it's just north of here, through that graveyard."

Scooby jumps in surprise. "Ripe! Graveyard?"

– Separator –

We find the gang walking through the previously Menchen graveyard. Daphne looks around cautiously, "This cemetery sure is spooky."

Fred who is walking beside her nods. "And weird. There's no graves."

"Daphne nods. "Yeh, just these cute little cabanas."

Velma walking behind Daphne speaks up. "There called fours. The ground here is to swampy for regular Barrials. They've used these above ground tombs for hundreds of years."

The gang continues to walk through the cemetery, passing more cabanas on the way. Without warning a pair of ghosts appear on 2 of the tomb stones scaring Shaggy and Scooby.

Daphne points. "Look, ghosts!"

Fred grabs Daphne's hand. "Run!"

The gang runs through the cemetery chased by the 2 ghosts.

Suddenly a big tour bus screeches to a halt in front of the gang. The door flies open, and 1 of the men inside gestures for the gang to climb in. As soon as the gang jumps into the bus, the door slams shut, and the bus roars away from the cemetery.

The bus comes to a stop on a quiet street. The man who had saved the gang looks over the kids. He ignores Scooby. "You were lucky missy. Another minute, and you would have met les frères Leland."

Shaggy looks confused. "Like run that by me again?"

Daphne smiles. "He said the Leland Brothers. See French club pays off."

Velma looks interested. "Who are the Leland Brothers?"

The man settles himself. "The brothers were on opposite sides during that civil war. They hated each other so much, they fought a duel, right here in the family graveyard. The continue to fight here, every night."

Shaggy and Scooby gulp.

Daphne looks skeptical. "How do you know all this anyway?"

The man strikes a pose. "Well it's my business to know. For I am Crawdad Mike. Your guide for the bestest haunted tour of New Orleans!"

His driver a plods Crawdad's pronouncement.

Scooby Laughs as the screen fades.

– Separator –

Our view shifts to the gang climbing out of Crawdad Mike' tour bus.

Fred waves back at the 2 men still in the bus. "Thanks for the lift Mr. Mike!"

The tour bus drives off.

Shaggy steadies himself, before looking around. "Like, we're staying here? No way, no way!"

Velma looks around. "Ok! You and Scooby can stay out here. Next to the graveyard."

Shaggy thinks about it for a few seconds. "Well since either choice is like creeps Vill, I'll choose the 1 that might have a kitchen."

The gang walk into the hotel, where they find a man dressed in a business suit, and a woman dressed in wearing a pink turtleneck-sweater talking.

"I tell you Lorelei you're just plum crazy. You got no choice but to sell."

The woman, Lorelei, looks furious. "That's Leland land. Cyrus Buford, you may be the boss over at your resort, but right here I'm in charge. Now I'll think you to leave. As you can see, I have guests."

The man identified as Cyrus Buford looks over the gang as they stand in the entrance hall. "Yes and I'm sure you kids will enjoy your stay. If you survive that is." Buford leaves.

Scooby looks scared. "Survive?"

Lorelei gives them a bright smile. "Now don't you pay that Cyrus Buford any mind. Welcome yall, I'm Lorelei Leland."

Velma shakes Lorelei's hand. "So Lorelei, why was that guy giving you a hard time?"

Lorelei shutters. "Cyrus T. Buford. He want's to buy the Leland family cemetery, so he can expand the River gate. That's his hotel and water park, and he's trying to use the legend of the Leland ghosts to make me sell."

Fred signs the register. "That was no legend we saw in the graveyard."

Lorelei's eyes widen. "You saw them?"

Shaggy signs for him and Scooby. "Yep, and their 1 gruesome twosome."

Shaggy glances up from signing, and spots the ghosts above him. "Yipe, there they are again!"

Velma looks to where Shaggy pointed. "Those are just portraits Shaggy."

Lorelei smiles at the portraits. "That's right. Of my grate, grate, grate, grate, grand uncles. Union Jed, and Rebel Caleb."

"Jeepers!" Daphne exclaims as a man walks in from the back.

Scooby takes 1 look at the new individual. "Ghost!"

Lorelei giggles. "That's no ghost. That's just my brother Taylor." Lorelei gives Taylor a look. "What's the big idea scaring the jiblies out of our guests?"

Taylor slowly turns his head to Lorelei. "Sorry Lorelei. I was just, tidying up the rooms."

Shaggy glances at Taylor, and gulps. "Nice work."

Lorelei walks over to Scooby who is still shaking. "There, there. Now what happened here?"

Daphne glances over to see the rags Scooby is still dressed in. "That's all that's left of Scooby's Mardi Gras costume."

Lorelei blinks, before shaking her head. "Well that won't do at all! Everyone needs a costume at Mardi Gras time!"

Scooby gets stars in his eyes. "Reh!"

Lorelei pats Scooby on the head. "But for now you must be tired. Have a good night yall!"

The gang follows Taylor to there set of rooms.

Taylor pauses after giving Fred, and Velma keys. "Now, you kids, best not be going out into the cemetery, you hear?"

Shaggy shivers. "We hear you man. Loud and clear."

Taylor nods to Shaggy. "Cause you know what they say, about old Jed, and Caleb. Every night they appear, looking for new recruits to drag into their armies of the undead." Taylor chuckles as he walks away.

Daphne looks thoughtful. "Did you guys notice something odd about Taylor's shoes?"

Velma uses her key to unlock 1 of the 2 doors. "Leave it to Daphne to notice a fashion fauxpas."

Daphne shakes her head. "I'm not talking fashion, I'm talking mud. It was all over his boots."

Velma Shrugs. "He must have been outside recently, but why this late at night. Hum."

– Separator –

Our view shifts to the gang walking though the graveyard. Fred walks with Daphne on 1 side, and Velma on the other. Shaggy and Scooby walk behind the others.

Shaggy looks around carefully. "Oh boy! I can't believe we're back in the cemetery. In the middle of the night!"

Daphne doesn't even glance at Shaggy. "It's such a shame that Lorelei might have to sell her house! There must be something we can do."

The gang continue to search the graveyard. Without warning something lunges out of the darkness, and grabs Shaggy's sandwich out of his hand, before scurrying off.

"Like zoinks!"

Scooby turns to look in the direction whatever it was ran in. "Ghosts! Ripe!"

Fred looked passed Shaggy. "That's no ghost Scooby. It's just an old possum."

Shaggy blinks. "And he's got my hot-pepper potboy. After him Scoob!"

Scooby chases the possum. Both jump over obstacles, and each other as Shaggy follows them. Not watching where he is going, Shaggy runs into 1 of the above ground tombs, and is grabbed by something.

– Separator –

Our view returns to Shaggy struggling in something's grip as the rest of the gang arrives.

Shaggy struggles to get free. "Help! I've been grabbed by a ghoulish ghost!"

Velma reaches out to push something off of Shaggy, causing him to drop to the round. "That was no ghost. It was just a plain old skeleton, see."

Shaggy blanches as Velma shows him the skeleton that had been holding him. "Like that's suppose to make me feel better?"

Daphne glances down in amusement. Amusement that quickly turns to shock at what she sees. "Oh no!"

Fred nearly teleports to Daphne's side. "Daphne! What is it?"

"There's icky gunk all over my new shoes."

Velma's eyes gain a subtle gleam. "Jinkies! I'll bet that's a clue!"

Shaggy stairs as Daphne removes the offending article of clothing. "Hay Daph, how are you going to get back with only 1 shoe?"

Daphne smirks. "You know me. I always come prepared." Daphne removes the other shoe, and replaces both with a different pair.

As the gang walk away from the sight of Shaggy

s accident, Velma looks thoughtful. "If that's our first clue, I wonder how this is connected to the Leland legend."

Fred nods. "We should talk to an expert. And I know just the man."

– Separator –

Our view shifts to the gang standing around Crawdad Mike's tour bus. Daphne shows Crawdad her shoe with the strange substance on it. "Any idea what this is Crawdad."

Crawdad sniffs the substance. "Oh yes darling, this is known as ectoplasm."

Fred looks surprised. "Ectoplasm! That's what ghosts are made out of!"

Shaggy and Scooby start shaking. "You mean we've been carrying around ghost guts?"

Scooby shakes his head in disgust.

Velma looks unconvinced. "I'm not so sure."

Crawdad gives Velma a smile. "Oh trust me, I know all there is to know about the ghosts in this city." He turns that smile on each member of the gang. "And for just 5 dollar each, I'll give yall the VIP tour."

Fred looks like he is considering the offer. Before Velma pokes him. "Maybe another time. Right now we have work to do."

Shaggy spots a restaurant serving food. "And before that we have dinner to eat."

– Separator –

Our view shifts to the gang sitting at a restaurant table. Shaggy and Scooby are scarfing down some very unusual food choices.

"Hay Scoob, how's your ice-cream mushroom pizza milkshake gumbo?"

Scooby licks the bowl in front of him. "delicious!"

Shaggy grins. "Yah, but it like needs some, hot Sause."

Shaggy looks through some bottles lined up on the counter. "Ah ha, this looks like the 1. Five Skull Fire Sause!"

Shaggy pours some of the sauce on to Scooby's gumbo. Scooby licks the bowl once again. Without warning smoke shoots out of Scooby's ears, and he shoots out of his seat like a rocket.

Later Velma is walking with the other members of the gang. "Legend has it the Leland ghosts keep coming back, but why."

Fred spots someone walking down the street. "Hay there's Lorelei."

Daphne waves to Lorelei. "Lorelei, Lorelei! She didn't hear me."

Velma examines the store Lorelei walked into. "I wonder what she could be looking for in that store."

Shaggy reads a sign outside the store. "Super market of the, super natural? Yoinks!"

Scooby follows Lorelei into the store. Sneaking around He follows her as she examines 1 isle, walks down another picking up some small items, and finally to the cash register where she pays for her items. Still sneaking Scooby follows her outside, where he rejoins Fred, Velma, Daphne, and Shaggy.

Fred looks excited as Scooby returns. "Well, what did you see?"

Scooby goes into a shopping pose. Shaggy watches him. "Lorelei bought."

Scooby gives the impression he has thin wings. "Bat wings,"

Scooby acts like a chicken. "Chicken bones,"

Scooby sticks out his tongue, and waves it like a toad. "And the eye of a toad."

Velma looks thoughtful. "Hum, sounds like voodoo."

Shaggy and Scooby gulp. "Voodoo!"

– Separator –

Our view shifts to the gang once more walking through the graveyard. Shaggy and Scooby are scared as usual.

Velma is looking at a map. "Next stop for clues, Cyrus Buford's water park."

Shaggy glances around nervously. "Like can't we ever detour around the graveyard?"

Daphne spots someone walking ahead of them. "Hay gang! check that out!"

Fred looks to where Daphne is pointing. "It's Taylor!"

Velma examines Taylor. "And it looks like he's carrying a uniform. A confederate uniform."

Daphne looks puzzled. "But what's tall dark and gruesome doing walking through the graveyard in the middle of the night?"

Shaggy wear's a flat expression. "Being scary, and he's doing a grate job."

Fred shakes himself. "We need to see if Cyrus Buford is connected to those uncivil civil war ghosts. Now let's split up and look for clues."

Shaggy's eyes suddenly widen. "Ah Fred, I might have found a clue!"

Fred brightens. "Grate! Where is it?"

Shaggy points behind the gang. Curius the gang turns, only to find themselves facing the 2 ghosts they had been just talking about. Everyone cries out in fright.

Daphne looks to Fred. "I hope you got a plan Fredy."

Fred just looks cool. "Of course I do. RUN!"

Velma yells "jinkies" as she stars to run away from the ghosts.

– Chase scene to the music of Man With the Hex –

The ghost of Jed Leland follows Shaggy and Scooby as they run back across the graveyard toward the restaurant they had eaten at earlier. At the first possible time Shaggy and Scooby split up and run in different directions. The ghost of Jed Leland pauses, but soon follows Shaggy. He comes upon Shaggy hiding behind 1 of the tombs. Shaggy upon spotting him dashes out from his hiding place, and begins running toward Cyrus Buford's water park. Jed looses him after about a minute.

Returning to where The boy and his dog split up, Jed begins to search for the dog. Scooby for his part waits for Jed to approach, and as soon as he creeps under the tomb that Scooby is hiding in, Scooby drops a pile of bones down on the Ghost. With that Scooby takes off in the same direction Shaggy ran earlier.

As Jed pulls himself out of the pile of bones, he spots Fred and Velma hiding behind a tomb. Without a pause Jed dashes toward where Fred is hiding, but just as he gets there Fred lunges out of his hiding place and runs off in the direction of Cyrus Buford's water park.

When Jed turns to find Velma he sees she has already left. Huffing to himself Jed appears to fade back into the ground.

– End of chase scene –

Our view returns to the gang hiding behind a gate leading into Cyrus Buford's water park. Without warning the man himself steps into the light. Scaring the gang.

Velma clutches her heart. "Cyrus Buford!"

Cyrus examines the kids. He looks troubled. "Just what are y'll doing here?"

Fred pulls himself out from behind the gate. "We're trying to get to the bottom of the Leland brothers' mystery."

Cyrus scowls. "Well, you kids should not be running around here at night. It's dangerous!"

Shaggy stands from where he and Scooby were hiding. "Like you're telling us! Those crazy brothers chased us all over this place."

Cyrus's eyes widen. "You've seen them too? Those ghosts scared off my hole staff. Without them I can't open this place. It was my life's dream to have the finest resort and water park in New Orliens."

Velma looks around. "Maybe you shouldn't have built it near a graveyard."

Cyrus appears to ignore her. "I've sunk all my life savings into this land. And now no slimy soldiers are going to get the best of Cyrus T Buford!" Cyrus walks off.

Fred looks around. "Wait a minute gang. Where's Daphne?"

Shaggy and Velma look around them. Daphne is nowhere in sight. "She's gong!"

Scooby shivers in fear.

Our view shifts to the gang now standing in front of the gate leading into the cemetery. Fred seems more focused than before. Shaggy and Scooby are hiding behind Velma. Velma herself is looking around hoping to spot a clue, or any sign of Ivy.

Fred examine the gate. "If the ghosts kidnapped Daphne. This is where they'd bring her."

Velma looks down at the ground. "Well somebody was generous enough to leave fresh footprints."

Shaggy looks over to the footprints in puzzlement. "Like ghosts don't leave footprints. Do they?"

Velma looks at shaggy. "They do if they're wearing Civil war boots."

Fred opens the gate. "And if we follow the footprints, we're sure to find daphne."

Scooby Enters the graveyard and sniffs the footprints. Somethings wrong, however. Scooby sneezes violently enough to shoot him back out of the graveyard.

Shaggy pats Scooby on the head. "Gazoontite man!"

Fred watches as the prints are blown away in the wind. "Oh no! We've lost the trail of footprints."

Velma steps up beside Fred. "Now we have no way of knowing where they were leading."

Fred sets his jaw. "You and I will explore the graveyard. Shaggy and Scooby, you stay out here and guard the gate. And don't let anybody in or out."

Shaggy looks Scared. "Like whom would be coming out of a cemetery?"

We follow Fred and Velma as they search the cemetery for any sign of Daphne.

Velma looks around. "There's no trace of them, anywhere!"

Fred stops by a rock at the side of the path. "Well, I always say the best plan to make, is to make a plan." Fred sits down on the rock. A light shine's from up among the trees. Fred stands, and the light disappears.

Fred looks around in puzzlement. "What was that?"

Velma looks thoughtful. "I think you set off those lights by sitting on that rock."

Fred wears an expression of disbelief. "Impossible!"

Fred sits back on the rock. The lights return.

Velma points to the lights in the trees. "Very possible." Fred stands. Velma gazes upward. "And they seem to be coming from way up in that treetop."

Velma stands on the rock, and gazes upward. "Now what in the world could this be?"

– Separator –

Our view returns to Shaggy and Scooby guarding the gate. Both of them are whistling as they watch the cemetery. Suddenly they hear a moan that seems to come from the direction of the cemetery.

Shaggy looks to Scooby. "Tell me that's you whaling Scoob."

Scooby Shakes his head.

The sound is heard again. Both Shaggy and Scooby are scared enough to run pass the gate, and into the cemetery.

Suddenly Shaggy stops. "Wait! That's a girl's voice. Scoob it could be Daphne!"

Scooby nods in agreement.

Shaggy looks thoughtful. "Now how do we find her?"

Scooby, having an idea, bumps into the pocket where Shaggy keeps his cell phone.

Shaggy blinks and pulls it out. "Grate idea. Daphne answers her cell phone no matter what! I've even got her on speed dial."

Shaggy pulls up his speed dial list. "Let's see. Fred, pizza, Velma, grocery's, Teriyaki Bowl, Mom, Daphne!"

Shaggy presses the call button, and the 2 of them can hear a cell phone ringing. "That's her phone. Follow the ring."

"And just why are you using the ringing of a cell phone to find someone?"

Shaggy and Scooby jumped a foot in the air at the voice that came from directly behind them. Turning Shaggy sees Ivy leaning against the graveyard gate. "Ivy! When did you get back"?"

Ivy smiles at Shaggy. "Just a few minutes ago. What's going on you 2?"

"Like we're trying to solve a mystery involving 2 ghostly brothers from the time of the civil war. A little bit ago the ghosts chased us all over this graveyard, and 1 of them kidnapped Daphne. Scooby had the grate idea to find her using her cell phone. That's her ring tone now."

Ivy nods. "Ok, let's go."

– Separator –

Our view shifts to Shaggy, Scooby, and Ivy following Daphne's cell phone right to a mausoleum. Ivy gasps at the sight. Scooby and Shaggy look at 1 another.

Shaggy spots Daphne inside the mausoleum. "Daphne! Don't worry Daph, Scoob, Ivy, and I are here.

With that Shaggy and Scooby pried open the door to the mausoleum. Somehow conjuring a light Ivy followed them into the mausoleum. Without warning the door slams shut, trapping all of them inside.

Scooby looks back at the closed door. "Rut roh!"

– Separator –

Our view shifts to Fred and Velma. The 2 of them seem to be setting a trap of some kind.

Velma pears out of a hole she has dug. "Ok Fred, the hole's nice and deep."

Fred helps Velma out of the hole. "Thanks Val!"

Fred covers the hole. "I've built a fool-proof trap. Anyone coming through here in the dark will trip over those barrels and shoot down the water slide. They'll instantly be caught up by that wire spring, it's attached to that big catapult. When I hear the sproin sound, I pull the trigger which will catapult the culprit right into your moss-covered pit. Grate plan, right?"

Velma gives Fred a look. "I admire the simplicity."

– Separator –

Our view shifts back to Shaggy, Scooby, Ivy, and Daphne in the mausoleum. Daphne is struggling in some bonds. There is a gag in her mouth, and her face shows she's been in this mausoleum for more than a few minutes. Ivy pulls the gag from Daphne's mouth.

Daphne works her jaw. "I was grabbed by those 2 slimy soldiers."

Shaggy tries to untie the ropes around Daphne. "I can't budge this knot!"

Daphne looks over to Ivy. "When did you get here Ivy?"

Ivy Smiles. "Just before Shaggy called your cell phone."

Daphne gives her a searching look. "Are you back with us from now on?"

Ivy Smiles. "Yap! I've gotten everything I needed to keep everyone in good health for a good while." Ivy smirks. "That is of course assuming your gur's luck isn't even worse than mine." Ivy looks to the rope that Shaggy is still struggling with. "Let me take a crack at that Shaggy. Diffindo!"

At Ivy's spoken word and gesture the knot that ties the rope together is sliced cleanly. As though with a knife.

Daphne pulls her hands free and rubs her wrist. "Thanks Ivy. Now how do we get out of here?"

While Scooby helps Daphne stand Shaggy goes to the mausoleum door. Pushing on it, the door won't budge. "Ivy's locked!"

Smiling Ivy makes another gesture. "Alohomora!"

Without warning the door suddenly pushes open, causing Shaggy to fall through, and out onto the grass of the graveyard.

Daphne raises 1 eyebrow. "That's quite handy."

Ivy shrugs. "That was 1 of the first spells I learned at school. Now shouldn't we go find Fred and Velma?"

Nodding the group exit the mausoleum, and are about to start looking for their friends when they find the 2 ghosts waiting just passed the mausoleum

– Separator –

Our view shifts back to Fred and Velma still waiting by the trap. Velma tilts her head. "Somebody's coming."

Standing by the catapult Fred grins in anticipation. "I'm ready."

Velma frowns at what she sees. "Wait, hold on, I think that might be, Daphne!"

Suddenly Shaggy trips over the barrels in the path. With a cry of surprise he hurtles down the water slide. Reaching the end he slams into the spring, causing it to bend enough to cause a sound. Fred pulls the trigger, and Shaggy rockets over Fred and Velma's head, right into the arms of another skeleton.

"Zoinks, and lots more zoinks!"

The 2 soldiers stop below Shaggy and start reaching for him. Without warning another ghost pops up with a growling yell that causes the 2 soldiers to take a step forward. This causes them to fall straight into Velma's pit.

The third ghost pulls off a costume revealing Scooby Doo.

Fred steps over to the pit. "Ah ha!

"Get us out of here!"

Shaggy pets Scooby on the head. "Nice Mardi Gras costume Scoob. You really had us going there."

Scooby laughs.

Fred pulls out a rope that he uses to pull the 2 ghosts out of the pit.

Just as he finishes pulling the second ghost out, Lorelei arrives. "What's going on?"

Fred points to the 2 captured ghosts. "I think this duo has come to an end."

Daphne walks up to stand by Fred. "I'll bet Taylor is behind this."

Fred nods. "With Cyrus T. Buford?"

Velma walks over to 1 of the ghosts as Ivy seems to fade into the background. "But there's still 1 more suspect." With that Velma pulls off Jed's mask.

The others stare. "Crawdad Mike!"

Velma smiles. "And his driver. Who helped him steer a high-speed scare."

Daphne turns to Lorelei. "So why were you going into that supernatural shop Lorelei?"

Lorelei Smiles. "I was looking for a talisman to keep the evil spirits away, and ghastly mask for Scooby's costume."

Scooby pants with joy at Lorelei's words.

Fred looks over to Taylor. "And Taylor, if you weren't playing ghost why were you sneaking around with that confederate soldier's costume?"

Taylor shrugs while giving Lorelei an apologetic look. "It was an old family heirloom. I had to sell it to help pay the bills. I snuck out at night because I didn't want Lorelei to know."

Lorelei gives Taylor a hug.

Shaggy looks puzzled. "But I still can't figure out what the heck was going on!"

Without warning the 2 ghosts appear to rise from the ground. Shaggy and Scooby spot the ghosts and get scared. "Yikes! their back!"

Velma reaches out and pulls the 2 of them to her. "Calm down you 2. You were just watching a hologram. Projected from that treetop. It's set off by pressure on this rock. Each time the tour bus pulled off the road, the driver used dry ice to create a perfect background mist for projecting ghosts."

Daphne pulls out a pair of shoes. "Dry-ice fog leaves a residue. That's the gunk I found on my shoe."

Velma nods to Daphne. Crawdad Mike had a smooth operation going. Frightening the tourists with his ghosts, and making a bus load of cash."

Fred nods toward Crawdad Mike. "He got worried when we came close to exposing him. That's when he and his driver dressed up as the Leland brothers and kidnapped Daphne to scare us away."

Crawdad Mike scowls. "And I would have gotten away with it. If it wasn't for you meddling kids."

The officers took the 2 of them away.

Daphne smiles. "I wonder how you say meddling kids in French."

Everyone laughs.

Our view shifts to the gang now enjoying themselves at a party at Leland Gables. Fred dances with Velma, while Daphne dances with Scooby. "Why were you so sure they weren't the Leland brothers."

Velma smiles as Fred spins her around. "Notice in the picture Jed is much taller than Caleb. The ghosts that haunted us were exactly the same height."

Lorelei waves as the gang approaches her. "I'm sure glad y'll could make it to the party. We just got a grate reason to celebrate. We've decided to partner up in an exciting new adventure. Leland Land!"

Cyrus, who has 1 arm around Lorelei, smiles. "Sure did. And I can finally open my resort hotel and water park. That I always dreamed about in my dreams."

Lorelei gazes at Cyrus. "I'll run the themed restaurant right here in the house."

Taylor, standing behind his sister, and Cyrus smiles a slow smile. "And I'll be guiding authentic tours, of the Leland family cemetery, ye."

Velma smiles at Lorelei, and Cyrus. "Partners, excellent."

Fred nods. "We'll look forward to vacationing at Lealandland, land."

They all laugh at Fred.

Meanwhile Daphne and Scooby join Shaggy who is eating at 1 of the tables. "Did I thank you guys fore saving me?"

Shaggy swallows the bight of food that was just in his mouth. "Thank yourself Daph. We never would have known you were there if you hadn't whaled so loud for help."

Daphne looks puzzled. "But I never called for help. I was gagged remember. I could hardly make a sound."

Shaggy and Scooby stop eating at Daphne's words. While looking around they hear the same whale from before. Shaggy, and Daphne look scared, but Scooby just shrugs, and howls his name as the whale sounds 1 more time.

Fade to black.
