Chapter 41

Where to Go for Work Studies

"Damnit. Shit." Freya opened her eyes at Bakugo swearing. Freya saw it was nearly 6 in the morning and last night felt like a dream, but she knew it wasn't. She was very sore. Bakugo was trying to get dressed without waking Freya. He wanted her to sleep as long as she could. He didn't realize she was woken up by his swearing. He was pulling his shoes on at the moment.

He felt arms wrap around him and pull him onto the bed. Bakugo turned to see Freya awake, but he could tell she was fighting to stay awake.

"Where are you going? Come back to bed." Freya said, yawning. Bakugo chuckled as he pressed a kiss to her forehead.

"I have that special class to get Provisioal Licensing. Not happy that I got to be up early and leave the comfort of your bed. I rather stay in bed with you all day, but I also want to get the license so we can fight crime together." Bakugo said.

"I know. I'll probably sleep most of the day. Momo has some studying with others, but I'm far ahead where I don't need help. I'll see you when you two get back and we'll do a movie night before bed." Freya suggested. Bakguo smiled. He pressed a kiss to her lips and she returned the kiss.

"Get some sleep, Brat. I'll see you after." Bakugo said, standing up as he finished putting his shoes on. Freya crawled deeper under the covers and soon fell asleep. Bakugo kissed a kiss to her head and soon left the room.

Todoroki was was waiting for him as he came down the stairs and they head to go outside. Bakugo was getting annoyed with the icy hot bastard. He wanted to enjoy the memory of last night as they walked.

"You should be thankful to the teachers. You got caught fighting with Midoriya. But they're still going to let you retake the exam." Todoroki said. Bakugo let out a growl.

"Oh, will you shut it?" Bakugo said.

"We've got to catch up to our classmates soon." Todoroki said. Bakugo gave him a murderous look.

"I told you to shut your damn face! And walk behind me, idiot!" Bakugo yelled.

Freya could hardly walk down the stairs because she was sore yet. She didn't come down till the afternoon. She was wearing one of Bakugo's hoodies and her favorite yoga pants.

"Slept right through the day." Mina said.

"Mmm. Let's just say Bakugo paid a visit." Freya said as she poared a cup of coffee. The Study room was empty. Bakguo and Todoroki was still at the special class and Deku was heading to see of a potential Work Study at an agency. "Let's just say we had a late night." Freya took a sip of her coffee and went to see if she could make food.

"So. Is there a reason your walking weird?" Jiro asked, coming over. Freya gave a hum in response. "You guys actually did it?" Freya looked up with a slight blush on her check. "Wow." Mina nearly squealed and jumped on her.

"Is he as dominant in bed as he is in the work field?" Mina asked, making Freya blush even more. She grabbed stuff for a sandwich and closed the door with her foot.

"Hmm. I say he's just the same." Freya said with a wink. (AN: I see a dominance in Bakugo in bed as well. I'm weird. I know.) Mina and Jiro started asking questions, making Freya blush deeper and deeper. The rest of the day. The girls sat out in the living area, watching movies and talking. Freya had her tablet out and was checking the news and stuff. Jiro and Tsu got up to start dinner as the sun was setting. Soon, Todoroki, Bakugo, and Izuku were back.

Freya was happy when she heard Izuku got in with an agency.

"You found an agency for your work study?" Uraraka said.

"Congratulations, Deku!" Freya and Uraraka said together.

"That's awesome." Mina said.

"Indeed. Well done, Midoriya." Iida said, holding out his hand. Izuku took it.

"Thanks, guys." Izuku said.

"Thank you. You're an example to us all." Iida said.

"I dunno how the rest of us are supposed to compete, though." Kaminari said as the others soon join them.

"Yeah, you'll be working at Sir Nighteye's agency. That's seriously amazing." Sero said.

"And I hear Togata recommended you." Kirishima said. Todoroki and Bakugo stood off to the side listening.

"Pretty impressive, man!" Seto said.

"Um. Yeah, I guess." Izuku said. He looked away as Bakugo and Todoroki seemed more annoyed.

"The distance between us just keeps getting wider. We've got to catch up and soon." Todoroki said.

"Huh." Bakugo said.

"I wish I had a place picked out. The school said Gunhead hasn't had enough interns, so his agency is a no-go." Uraraka said.

"I know what you mean. I wanted to go to Selkie's, but that's out, too." Tsu said.

"Yeah, so is Fourth Kind. He doesn't even accept students for work studies." Kirishima said, laying out over the back of the couch.

"The teachers sure aren't making it easy for us, are they?" Sero asked.

"Thanks to all these requirements, a ton of agencies are ruled out right off the bat." Kaminari said.

"We can't really blame them. Unlike the internships, we'll be directly involved, so if anything were to go wrong, then.." Freya started.

"Then the Pros have to take responsibility for whatever happened." Freya smiled seeing her father heading their way.

"Hey, dad." Freya said.

"Oh, hey, Mr. Aizawa." Kaminari said.

"Only Pros who are the real deal will take on rookies like you guys, knowing the risks involved." Aizawa said. He looked at Tokoyami. "Tokoyami, looks like you've got an offer from one of them. Hawks has invited you to work with him in Kyushu."

"No way!" Kaminari said.

"Dude, he's the Number Three Hero!" Sero said.

"That's awesome." Freya said.

"Whoa! Good job!" Sato said.

"Well, what do you say?" Aizawa said. Tokoyami walked away from his wall.

"I respectfully accept." Tokoyami said.

"Alright then. I'll make sure you get the relevant paperwork later. Just let me know when you're expected in Kyushu. I can sign off on your absences." Aizawa said.

"Congrats, Tokoyami. You psyched?" Shoji asked.

"I am grateful, of course." Tokoyami said.

"We've really gotta catch up." Todoroki said.

"Would you stop saying that?"!" Bakugo said. Freya and Aizawa glared at him and Bakugo quickly shut up. Aizawa looked at Freya.

"Freya." Aizawa said. Freya looked at her father. "I got a personal call from Ryuko about you doing Work studies with her. You have been approved to do your Work Studies with her. You leave in a few days to go with Hado to her Agency."

"Yes!" Freya said, clapping her hands together.

"She would like for you to call her as soon as you can. She wants to ask you something." Aizawa said.

"I'll call her now." Freya said, grabbing her phone and heading to step outside. Bakugo watched her leave. Freya closed the door and pushed the call to Ryuku. She answered on the first ring.

"I take it your dad broke the news to you." Ryuko said.

"He did. I'm glad I can come work with you." Freya said. She became close to Ryuko before her mom died and she came to help Aizawa out at times with Freya. Freya looked up to her godmother as a mentor.

"So I wanted to ask you. Hado recommended two other students from your class and wanted your input. Tsu and Uraraka?" Ryuko asked.

"They are good fighters and I get along with them really well. They be worth bringing in also." Freya said.

"Then I'll have them join you with Work Studies. I'll see you in a few days, Freya." Ryuko said. Freya smiled and hanged up.

"So you got a angency?" Freya turned to see Bakugo leaning against the column.

"I do. Looks like Uraraka and Tsu might join me with Ryuko." Freya said.

"Shitty hair might have one as well." Bakugo said.

"Kirishima? Hmm. I wonder who. I'm happy Uraraka and Tsu got one as well." Freya said. Bakugo held out his hand and Freya took it.

"Just need to get caught up to the rest of you." Bakugo said.

"I know you two will. Just don't push it." Freya said as they walk into their dorm hand in hand to enjoy a one night of peace. What they don't know. Something was brewing and Freya and some of her friends were going to be pulled in.
