Today began the weekend. That meant that Margaret would be out and about on errands. . Margaret would have her Weekend church meeting. From the window above the front door,Carrie watched as Margaret walked down the front path to leave. Once Margaret was fully gone, that gave Carrie a little time to pick up her daughter Rebecca from her basket that she was sleeping in and place her in her backpack , head out to walk down to the store. They stepped into the store. The store was crowded there was a lot of people shopping. Seeing a crowd of people made Carrie nervous. Carrie has never been out of the house before. She only left when she had to go to school. She never been anywhere, in particular. Being in a store for the first time was new to Carrie. Carrie made it past the crowd of people and into the aisle where all the baby items were located. While she was in the baby aisle, she stopped to look at the items. She was deciding what she needed to get when she overheard familiar voices. In the next aisle, Sue and her mother were shopping. Sue was at the corner of the aisle when she spotted Carrie. They just looked at each other.
"Sue, come on!",shouted Sue's mother from the other direction.
Sue shrugged and ran up to catch up with her mother.
