*Jolly Roger*

Neal, Emma, Henry, and Gold are sailing the Jolly Roger toward Storybrooke hoping to get Gold back in time to stop the poison from killing him. Neal and Henry are steering the ship while Emma tends to Gold below deck.

"You don't look comfortable." Emma said.

"The poison racing towards my heart will have that effect." Gold said.

"Tell me about this, uh, knife of yours. Cora and Regina… If they do have it, they can make you do anything?" Emma asked.

"Indeed." Gold replied.

"Like… kill us all?" Emma asked.

"Yeah. You're hoping I bleed to death now, aren't you?" Gold replied before asking a question.

"You're Henry's grandfather. We're family now. I'm going to save you." Emma replied.

"Oh, I feel so reassured." Gold said.

Emma knew that if Hazelle was here then she would've had a smartass comment to say. Even if Emma didn't show it, she missed Hazelle. They're a great team and Emma felt weird not having her by her side, but she understood why Hazelle wanted to stay behind.

*Back in Storybrooke*

Mom, dad, and myself met Emma, Henry, Gold, and Neal at the docks and I was happy to see them. I hugged Emma and Henry and I could tell that Emma was glad to be home. Ruby joined us and helped Neal with getting Gold off the ship.

"Are you okay?" Mary Margaret asked.

"Yeah. Yeah, we're alright." Emma replied.

David took over for Ruby and he and Neal headed toward the truck with Gold.

"Uh, I drove a ship." Henry said.

"Did you now?" David asked.

"Yeah, my dad showed me how." Henry replied.

"That's… me." Neal slowly said.

Neal and my dad sat Gold on the back of the truck, and I was hoping to finish this fight once and for all.

"Thank you, thank you." Gold said.

"Is Cora trying to control you with the dagger?" David asked.

I went to answer but Gold beat me to it because I knew that we would all know if that was happening.

"Oh, you'd know if she was, cause most of you would be dead by now." Gold replied.

"Well, then we'll just have to take the fight to her before that can happen." Mary Margaret said.

"We will." David said.

"And this time, we finish it." Mary Margaret said.

"Mom…" I said.

"David, Alycia. She needs to be stopped. She needs to be killed. This is our family. We are going to protect it." my mom said.

"Of course we will." I started.

"But what you're talking about goes beyond that." my dad finished.

My dad and I will have to work together to get through to my mom.

"Does it? Because she is the reason you've never met my mother." my mom said as she looked from me to my dad.

"I know. I know what happened to Queen Eva, and I have zero problems with Cora dying for it. But not by your hand, and not out of vengeance." my dad said.

"Why?" my mom asked.

"Because you wouldn't be able to live with yourself. You have the purest heart of anyone I have ever known. That's who you are and who you're going to stay." my dad replied.

"You okay?" Emma asked Gold.

"Ah, I'm beginning to feel a bit stronger. Take me back to my shop. There's magic there that can protect us." Gold replied.

Gold was helped into the truck, and I'm ready for this fight because Cora is going down, and Regina will too if she gets in the way.

"Let me guess. I get to go with Ruby." Henry said.

"You got it, kid." Emma said.

"I'll keep him out of the crossfire." Ruby said.

"Thank you." Mary Margaret said.

"Don't look so worried. You'll stop Cora. You won't let her get away." Henry said.

"Damn right, kid." I said with a wink.

Emma and our mom gave me a look but Henry cracked up and gave me a fist bump. He knew that I would do everything I could to take Cora down. We got to Gold's shop, placed him in the back, and Emma went to find whatever Gold wanted her to find. She came back with an empty jar.

"Emma, did you find it?" Gold asked.

"Yeah. There's nothing in it." Emma replied.

She shook the container and it made a noise.

"What the hell?" Emma asked.

I reached in and pulled something out that seemed to be invisible.

"Invisible chalk. Use it in the front doorway. Draw a line. The rest of you, you might want to prepare for battle." Gold replied.

Emma and I went to draw the line, and of course, Neal had to follow us. Emma was drawing the line and I was trying to figure out how to start a conversation to keep us occupied.

"Missed a spot." Neal said.

"Haha. You're hilarious." Emma said.

"I didn't know you were magical." Neal said.

"Oh, my. Are you getting judgey about this? Cause you're not allowed to have opinions about surprises, Mr. Son-of-Rumplestiltskin." Emma said.

"Oh…" Neal said.

"What 'oh'?" I asked.

"I didn't mean for Tamara to be a surprise." Neal replied.

"You think I care that a guy I dated a decade ago is engaged?" Emma asked.

Neal looked over at me.

"What do you want me to say? I'm just now finding out about everything and not sure how I should act." I said.

David then entered the room and could tell that there was tension.

"We're all clear outside. Everything okay?" David asked.

We all shook our heads before Emma and I headed back to Gold.

"I drew the invisible line. I… think. What now? You cast a protection spell?" Emma asked.

"No, no. You and Hazelle are going to do that for me. I'm relying on both of you." Gold replied.

"I can't cast a spell and neither can Hazelle. We can spell 'spell'." Emma argued.

"Both of you can. It's in you." Gold said.

"How? Here? Like, my brain?" Emma asked.

"Just try." Gold replied.

Emma looked at me and I nodded my head. We closed our eyes and concentrated, but nothing seemed to be happening.

"Stop thinking! Conjuring magic is not an intellectual endeavor. It's emotion. You must ask yourself, 'Why am I doing this? Who am I protecting?' Feel it." Gold said.

Emma and I closed our eyes again. This time, we felt a wave of magic pass over the entire shop.

"Oh, yeah. You feel it?" Gold asked us.

"Yeah… I think we did." I replied.

"Good girls. Very good girls." Gold said.

It wasn't too long after that conversation that the whole building started to shake.

"It's them. Regina and Cora- they're here." dad said as he came into the room.

We got ready to fight and I was ready to end this once and for all. Regina and Cora came through the door, and all of us got ready.

"Regina. Think about what you're doing." Emma said.

"Don't talk to me." Regina said.

"Why not? Mad that you're not the only one Henry loves?" I taunted.

Neal gave me a funny look, but Emma smirked because she knew exactly why I said that.

Regina threw a fireball at us, but David and I deflected it with our swords. Regina didn't like that, so she threw David out the front door and locked him out.

"David!" "Dad!" Emma and I yelled together.

Cora magically threw Emma back, so Neal and I went after her in retaliation. Cora disappeared, like a coward, and dropped the dagger. Emma got up but Regina went to magically strangle her, but got distracted by her own mother. Emma then grabbed a knife off the counter, turned Regina around, and placed the knife to her throat. Seems like Neal and I are going to face off with Cora.

"What's it going to be?" Neal asked.

"Mother." Regina said.

"Choose wisely." I said.

Cora then summoned the dagger to her and Emma took that opportunity to throw Regina into Cora and making them fall into the glass counter.

"Fall back to Gold! I have the chalk." Emma called out to Neal and myself.

We joined her at the back of the shop and got ready just in case Cora managed to get to us. My phone started to ring so I answered it.

"Dad?" I asked.

"Are you safe?" my dad asked.

"For now. Emma's got the spell up in the back room." I replied.

"Is Mary Margaret okay?" my dad asked.

"She's not with you?" I asked.

She isn't with us, so we thought she was with our dad.

"No. Where the hell is she?" my dad questioned.

Cora is still trying to break the barrier with magic, and I can tell that it's getting weaker.

"It's getting weaker. She's going to get through." Neal said.

I guess I'm not the only one that noticed.

"Maybe it's for the best. At least this cursed power will pass this world." Gold said.

"No. No, you're not dying." Neal said.

"I am dying. That much is certain. I need to talk to Belle. Emma, Please." Gold said.

"Who's Belle?" Neal asked.

Emma dialed a number before handing Gold her phone.

"Your dad's girlfriend." Emma and I replied together.

"Mr. Gold, I… I told you before, I… I-I don't remember you." Belle said as she answered the phone.

"I-I… I know. I know. It's just… Sweetheart, I… I'm dying." Gold said.

"Oh. I'm, uh… I'm… I'm so sorry." Belle said.

"I know that you're… confused about who you are. So, I'm going to tell you. You are a hero, who helped your people. You're a beautiful woman, who loved an ugly man. Really, really loved me. You find goodness in others. And when it's not there, you create it. You make me want to go back. Back, to the best version of me. And that never happened before. So, when you look in the mirror and don't know who you are, that's who you are. Thank you… Belle…" Gold said before hanging up the phone.

I can only imagine what Belle must be feeling right now, but maybe, just maybe, that was what she needed to hopefully bring back her memories.

"Didn't know you had that in you." Neal said.

"Oh, I'm full of love. I've spent a lifetime looking for you. For a chance to say I love you. And I'm sorry." Gold said.

"I didn't think you would go back on our deal." Neal said.

"I just made the wrong choice. May I?" Gold said before asking if he could hold Neal's hand.

"I'm still angry." Neal said.

"I know…" Gold said.

Neal took a moment before grabbing Gold's hand and having a moment with his father. My heart aches for them and I hope that we can do something to save Gold because I don't know how we're going to explain this to Henry.

It wasn't long before Cora finally broke through and entered the room. Emma, Neal, and myself got ready to fight.

"You three- out of the way." Cora said before teleporting us out of the room.

We ended up on some random path in the woods and knew that we had to get back as quickly as we could.
