Sora kept a close eye on her teacher. She found herself staring at him a lot. Not that anyone but Arin noticed. Last night had been strange. The other ninja didn't seem to have any attention drifts, and they continued their day like normal. Doesn't anyone notice how strange things are around here? Sora wondered. And she was starting to get a little impatient, too, because Arin was nowhere to be found, even though he'd promised her they'd train together. Which reminded her that Lloyd had said they'd train today. Not Lloyd nor Arin seemed to have remembered. Another thing that was strange. Arin has a great memory, why wasn't he here? She realized that while she'd been thinking, she'd lost sight of Lloyd. She groaned. Why do people keep disappearing around here?
An hour later, there had still been no sign of Arin or Lloyd, and Wyldfyre had come up with the idea of training with their powers on targets. Sora wondered why. Shouldn't Kai be training her? Nya walked out onto the training grounds. She looked around for a moment, then frowned. "Where's Arin, Lloyd, and, for as annoying as he is, Kai?" Sora realized that Kai had disappeared too. "Kai's gone now?" Sora asked. Wyldfyre nodded. "Probably got scared and ran off like a baby!" "That makes three people that have disappeared." Nya remarked. First Arin, then Lloyd, and now Kai… "did Kai tell you anything about training?" Sora asked Wyldfyre. Wyldfyre seemed pensive, then looked back at Sora. "I think the hothead said that we'd train tonight." Sora put the pieces together in her head, Arin said he wanted to train this morning, Lloyd had stated that we'd train last night, and now Kai, who supposedly said that they'd train tonight… "Hello. I was thinking, tomorrow we should do a tr-" "wait!" Sora cut Zane off. "What seems to be the problem?" The ice ninja queried. "Don't mention anything about training. I think we might be cursed" she replied. "What makes you say that?" Nya asked. "Because Arin said he wanted to train this morning, Lloyd said we would train last night, and now Kai, who was going to train Wyldfyre." An eerie silence fell across them. Someone was making people disappear, but who?
