The next morning, Emma, Henry, and I watched as David came back into the kitchen from Mary Margaret's bedroom.

"Anything?" I asked.

"She won't eat a bite." David replied.

"What's wrong with her?" Henry asked.

"Nothing." I said hesitantly because I didn't know what to say.

"She's just a little sick." Emma added.

"You guys are lying to me, aren't you?" Henry asked as he looked between me and Emma.

"No one's lying." Emma said.

"You are, just like you did about my dad." Henry said.

"Henry, don't you ever let me hear you say that again. Emma did what was best for you and that's final." I growled.

Emma and David just looked at me because they knew that I was getting pissed off because Henry just wanted to throw that in Emma's face instead of thinking about exactly why she did what she did. I bet he'll think twice before saying it again.

"Henry, I- He's right. No more lying." Emma said.

I knew she was trying to break the tension and I'm thankful for that.

"Emma…" David said.

"He deserves to know. Here's the thing, Henry. Cora's death… Mary Margaret was partially responsible for it, and that's why she's so upset." Emma said.

"No. No, no, she couldn't." Henry said.

"She was trying to protect us." I said.

"But she's Snow White. She wouldn't hurt anybody." Henry said.

"Get out!" David growled.

Emma, Henry, and I joined him and saw Gold standing outside the door.

"I think you're gonna wanna hear what I have to say- for her sake." Gold said.

"What are you talking about?" Emma asked.

"Regina. She's planning to strike back- against your mother." Gold replied.

"I would love to see her try." I scoffed.

"What is she gonna do to her?" Henry asked.

"Oh, she didn't say." Gold replied.

"Of course she didn't. She loves to hide like a scared little girl, but she won't hurt my mother." I said.

"No. You don't get to come in here and just drop a bomb like that. You're gonna figure this out. And you're gonna help us." David said.

"And why should I?" Gold asked.

"Because aside from us being family now, Mary Margaret saved your life. Now you owe her a debt. And you always pay your debts, don't you? You're gonna help us stop Regina." I replied.

I could tell that my dad was proud of me. I'm tired of people thinking that they can walk all over my parents and me just stand there. But no more. If Regina wants my mother then she'll have to get through me first.

Emma, Henry, and I stayed with Mary Margaret while David and Gold went to see if they could figure out what Regina was going to do.

"What the hell does that do?" I asked as Gold just explained what curse Regina was thinking about doing.

"In theory, it has the power to make someone love you." Gold replied.

"Doesn't that break magic laws? You can't bring people back to life. You can't force someone to love you." Emma said.

"This particular spell can make someone think they love you. And if you're as desperate for love as Regina appears to be, you just might believe it." Gold said.

"She's using it on me, isn't she." Henry said as he came down the stairs.

"Hey buddy, why don't you go back upstairs, let us handle this." David said.

"No! (Henry pushed past David and came over to me and Emma) Emma! Hazelle! You both said you were going, to be honest with me. Now, why is Regina using this curse?" Henry asked.

I went to answer but Gold beat me to it.

"Because it's the only way she can get everything she wants. That she can get you." Gold replied.

"But if all she wants is me…" Henry said.

"Your mother is a complicated woman. She wants your love of course, but she also wants vengeance. On Mary Margaret." Gold said.

"How does the curse give her both?" David asked.

"Because the last ingredient she needs to enact the curse is the heart of the person she hates the most." Gold replied.

"You have to stop her." I said.

"Oh, I don't have to do anything. On the contrary, I believe warning you fulfills my debt." Gold said.

"Not even close! This is my wife's life we're talking about." David said.

"Not to mention your grandson's!" Emma said.

"Well, wars have costs." Gold said.

"And yet, you are the reason this is happening, so your ass is going to help." I growled.

David lightly touched my arm because he could tell that I was pissed. Gold wants people to help him every time he needs it, but the minute someone else needs his help, he doesn't want to help. He's going to help my mother because if it wasn't for him, then we wouldn't be in this damn mess.

"Well, this is a blood feud, dearie. One that goes back a long time. And the only way you can end a blood feud, is by the spilling of more blood. That is the only way I know to eliminate your Regina problem." Gold said.

"How, by killing her?" David asked.

"Is there no other option?" Emma asked.

I knew that she didn't want to kill Regina, but that might be the only way, and I'll do it if I have to. Henry may hate me for it, but I'll do what I have to, to protect my family.

"I'm afraid not." Gold replied.

"Stop! Listen to yourselves. You're talking about killing my mom! You used to be heroes. What happened to you?" Henry asked as he grabbed his coat before leaving.

"Henry. No matter how this plays out, we need to keep him as far away from it as possible." Emma said before grabbing her coat and following after Henry.

"She's right. Cora is more dangerous because she didn't have a heart. Regina is even more dangerous because she does." Gold said.

David and I went to join Emma when her and Neal came out of Granny's saying that Henry ran. Of course, he did. This kid isn't stupid and he knows exactly what he's doing.

"Henry!" David, Emma, and I yelled together as we looked for Henry in the mines.

"Down here! He was in here." Ruby said.

"Why would an eleven-year-old kid run away to the mines?" Neal asked.

"Wouldn't be the first time." I replied.

"I think I know what he was looking for. The dynamite the dwarfs use for blasting." David said as he flashed his flashlight on a box of explosives.

"What the hell would he want dynamite for?" Emma asked.

"To get rid of magic." Neal replied.

"Wait, what?" Emma and I asked together.

"At the diner, he said someone should get rid of magic." Neal replied.

"So he's going to blow it up?" Ruby asked.

"Where would he even go to do that?" Neal asked.

Emma, David, and I shared a look because we knew exactly where Henry was going. We took off towards the well and saw Regina talking to Henry.

"Hey Regina! Get away from my son!" Emma called out.

"He's not your son. He's mine. And after I cast this, you'll never see him again." Regina said.

"That's never going to happen," David said.

"If you want to kill Mary Margaret you're going to have to go through us." I said.

"Okay." Regina said.

Regina got ready to use magic, David pulled his gun, and I got ready to try to use magic myself. Henry then ran in between us and made sure that nobody could attack.

"Stop!" Henry yelled.

"Henry, get out of the way." Neal said.

"Not until someone helps me get rid of magic!" Henry yelled.

"There's no way to get rid of it. You can't just blow it up!" Regina said.

"Magic isn't the problem, kid. It's her." Emma said.

"It's not just her. It's everyone. Look what magic did to Mary Margaret. Look what it did to you (Henry looked at Regina when he said that). It's ruining everything. It makes good people do terrible things." Henry said.

"And bad people." I added.

"Please. It's going to destroy my family. Help me get rid of it." Henry begged.

"I can't do that Henry. But there is something I can do." Regina said.

Regina then took the scroll and dropped it in the fireball she had in her hand.

"Thank you." Henry said to Regina before going to Emma.

Emma and Neal hugged Henry to them before walking away. David and I followed soon after. David then called Gold and told him what just happened.
