Amid the chaos in Bonesborough, Eda and Lilith were using their powerful magic to fend off the relentless Amity Army. Hooty, with his unconventional but stretchy powers, was doing his best to help, flinging his limbs in every direction to beat back the clones. Meanwhile, the others were attempting to escape the encroaching army, but it seemed they were hopelessly surrounded.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group found themselves trapped, surrounded by an army of Amity clones. Panic welled up among them as they realized the dire situation they were in. They were outnumbered and had nowhere to go, their escape routes cut off.

"This is bad." Willow gulped.

Just as despair seemed to take hold, a surprise savior appeared in the form of the Collector. He soared into the scene, projecting a magical illusion of Donkey Kong. The bewildered Amity clones looked around in confusion, unsure of what was happening. An inquisitive Amelia turned to her fellow Amelias for answers, but they could only shrug in response.

One of the Amity Clones asks, "What's going on here?" he asked, seeking clarification.

"How should we know?" An Amelia shrugged.

The Illusion Donkey Kong, towering over the battlefield, responded with a confident and charismatic declaration: "It is on like DONKEY KONG!" With that proclamation, he launched into action, exhibiting incredible strength and agility as he single-handedly held off the Army of Amity clones.

The Collector wasted no time. Realizing the opportunity for escape, he beckoned to the others. "Quickly, everyone, get on my magical star!" he called out. The group scrambled onto the Collector's star, taking refuge from the chaos below. Eda and Lilith fly in their harpy forms to look for Luz and Amity.

Amidst the secluded woods, the Hooded Figure, Eda and Lilith managed to locate the two Boschas, Amity, and Luz. With an air of urgency, he relayed the group's situation to them.

"Eda!" Luz sighed in relief.

"Don't worry kid, we're fine." Eda said, hugging her as she transformed out of her Harpy form. "The Collector's Knowledge of Nintendo saved us."

"That sounded less awesome than the way I wanted to be." The Collector groaned.

"You could've said..." Gus said, shrugging.

"Now you're playing with Power?" Hunter asks, making Gus frown as soon as he heard that.

"NO!" Gus wailed as he fell to his knees, crying. "You stole my thunder!"

"What is this "Nin-Ten-Dough?"" Boscha asks, confused.

"You have a lot to learn..." Alternate Timeline Boscha groans.

"The Collector and the others managed to escape with their lives," the Hooded Figure began. "But there's a good chance some of the Hexside students were captured. We need to act fast."

Luz, her worry for her mother evident in her eyes, gasps in horror. "We can't leave my mom behind! She might be in danger!"

Alador, overhearing their conversation, approached the group with a determined look on his face. "Luz is right. Camila could be in danger. I'll go with the Hooded Figure to rescue her."

Amity said, "We'll meet up with the Collector."

Hooty, ever eager to assist, piped up, "I can help! I'll go with you!"

Alador, however, was vehement in his refusal. His eyes bore into Hooty's with intensity. "No, Hooty. I need you to stay here with Lilith. She'll need your support, and you're the best one to provide it."

"Hootscifer, perhaps it would be best after what Alador did to you." Lilith said, concerned.

Lilith, amidst her ongoing battle with the relentless Amity clones, nodded in agreement with Alador's decision. Hooty hesitated for a moment but ultimately nodded in reluctant understanding.

Meanwhile, Willow chimed in, her voice filled with concern. "We need to find the other Hexside students who might still be out there. They're our friends, and they could be in danger."

Gus and Hunter shared a glance, both nodding in agreement with Willow's words.

Amity, with a firm resolve, added, "We can't leave anyone behind. Let's split up to cover more ground. Luz, Boscha, Willow, Gus, Hunter, and I will search for the Hexside students. Alador, Hooded Figure, please find my mom and keep her safe."

With the Hooded Figure and Alador on their way to rescue Camila, the rest of the group gathered their thoughts and formulated a plan. Willow, always quick-thinking, suggested an idea, "We could seek refuge in the basement of Blight Industries, provided that Amity could recall the security password."

Amity nodded, her mind racing to remember the necessary details. "I think I remember it. We should be okay."

Boscha, in her characteristic impulsive manner, didn't waste a moment. She seized Amity by the arm, practically dragging her in the direction of Blight Industries. "Come on, let's go before anything else happens."

However, the other Boscha, hailing from an alternate timeline, wasn't so hasty. She chastised Boscha for her recklessness. "You should be more cautious. We don't know what dangers lie ahead."

Amity, caught between their differing perspectives, felt a mix of gratitude and frustration. "Both of you, please, we need to stay focused and cautious. We'll get through this together."

With Boscha leading the way, they headed towards Blight Industries, determined to find safety amidst the chaos that had befallen the Boiling Isles.

Inside Hexside, the situation grew even more dire as Camila and some of the Hexside students found themselves restrained by the relentless Amity army. Twisted Amity, the menacing presence behind this onslaught, made her appearance and singled out Camila, recognizing her as Luz's mother.

With a sadistic grin, Twisted Amity taunted Camila, her words dripping with cruelty. "You know, if I had an ounce of my 'emotional humanity' left in me," she began, her voice dripping with malevolence, "I would feel remorse for showing your daughter's lifeless head on Halloween night."

Camila gasped, her face contorted with horror at the gruesome revelation. Twisted Amity, however, seemed indifferent to the pain she had inflicted. She casually shrugged, her demeanor chillingly apathetic. "But of course, I got rid of those emotional drawbacks a long time ago."

As the Hooded Figure and Alador emerged from their phasing maneuver, Twisted Amity's scoff echoed through the tumultuous battlefield.

"Oh, please..." Her eyes glinted with a sinister determination as she turned her attention toward them. In response, she unleashed a furious barrage of abomination tendrils, which lashed out like sinister serpents, aiming to grab and subdue Alador.

The Hooded Figure wasn't about to be caught so easily. With a swift motion, he leaped out of harm's way and retaliated by conjuring a powerful green energy blast. He hurled it back at Twisted Amity, forcing her to dodge the incoming attack.

"Go get Camila!" The Hooded Figure said, concerned.

Meanwhile, Alador seized the opportunity to reach out for Camila. He swiftly created a glyph beneath his feet, transforming his shoes into bouncy platforms infused with Abomination Goo. With a determined look in his eyes, he motioned for Camila to follow suit, and together, they began to bounce away from the encroaching Amity Army.

Amidst the chaos, Alador managed to speak to Camila over the cacophony of battle. "We need to find a safe place to regroup with the others," he urged, his voice filled with urgency. "Stick close to me, and we'll get out of this mess."

As the Hooded Figure and Alador made their daring escape from Hexside, their actions left a trail of furious shouts and frustrated cries from Twisted Amity and her relentless army of Amity clones. They moved swiftly, with Camila in tow, and as they reached the exit, the Hooded Figure used his powers to create a massive, sturdy ice barrier that sealed off the entrance behind them.

"We're almost home free!" Alador sighed in relief.

The sudden blockade trapped Twisted Amity and her army inside the Hexside building, inciting a mix of confusion and fear among the Amity clones. They pounded against the icy wall, trying to break through, but it held firm.

Alador, his breath heavy with exertion, turned to Camila and the Hooded Figure, relief washing over him. "We've bought ourselves some time," he said, his voice still tinged with tension. "Now, we need to regroup with the others and find a safer location."

Camila nodded, her worry for her daughter etched on her face. "Agreed," she replied, her determination matching Alador's. "We have to ensure Luz and the rest of our friends are safe."

The Hooded Figure, though not revealing his identity, conveyed his solidarity with a nod. "Let's move quickly," he urged. "The longer we stay here, the higher the chance they find a way out."

With a shared sense of purpose, they turned away from the sealed entrance to Hexside, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in their quest to reunite with Luz and their friends.

Inside the now-sealed Hexside, the atmosphere was tense, and fear hung heavy among the countless Amity clones as they watched their twisted counterpart unleash her fury upon the surroundings. Twisted Amity's anger was palpable, and the Amitys dared not draw her attention.

"How could you let them get away? She was our meal ticket to trying to breaking Luz, and you idiots let that intangible dweeb get in the way!" Twisted Amity as she destroyed a support beam in Hexside.

One of the timid Amelia Blights mustered the courage to speak up. "Uh, Twisted Amity, the, um, Collector... he kinda helped them escape," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.

At the mere mention of The Collector, Twisted Amity's violent rampage paused, and she turned her piercing gaze toward the trembling Amity. Her eyes narrowed, and a wicked smile crept across her face. "Did he now?" she hissed, her tone dripping with malice.

The terrified Amity who had inadvertently spilled the beans panicked. "I-I didn't mean it like that! I just thought, um... you should know," she stammered, trying to backtrack.

But her fellow Amitys knew better than to provoke their unstable counterpart. One of them quickly stepped in to defuse the situation. "Yes, Twisted Amity, we're sorry. We should have been more vigilant," she said, her voice quivering.

Twisted Amity's grin widened as her mind raced with newfound possibilities. "No matter," she purred, her tone deceptively sweet. "The Collector... he may have inadvertently given me the solution to our little problem."

The Amitys exchanged nervous glances, unsure of what their twisted leader had in mind but too frightened to ask. Meanwhile, the blame game continued among them, each Amity desperately trying to avoid becoming the focus of Twisted Amity's wrath.

As they ventured deeper into the woods, Alador couldn't help but express his astonishment. "I can't believe that Twisted Amity is what Mittens could've turned into if she wasn't careful," he said, shaking his head. "I mean, she has her moments, but she's nothing like that."

The Hooded Figure glanced at him, understanding the concern in his voice. "Twisted Amity is from an alternate timeline," he explained. "In her world, Amity went down a dark path after Luz was killed, and much of it can be attributed to her mother, Odalia."

Camila, walking alongside them, listened intently but couldn't contain her curiosity. "Who is Odalia?" she asked, her tone tinged with a mix of curiosity and concern.

The Hooded Figure exhaled deeply, realizing that some explanation was necessary. "Odalia Blight is Amity's mother," he began, "and she's known for her manipulative and power-hungry nature. In the alternate timeline, she played a significant role in pushing Amity toward darker magic, leading her to become Twisted Amity."

Alador looked horrified by the thought of Odalia's actions causing Amity to be a merciless murdering witch. What did Odalia do this time?

Camila snarled but nodded in understanding. "So, in that world, Amity lost Luz, and her mother's influence led her down a much darker path," She summarized. It was safe to say that the Noceda matriarch wanted to strangle Odalia for her involvement for Luz's death in that timeline. She threatened her Mija, and no one tries to kill Luz. NOBODY.

The Hooded Figure affirmed his words with a solemn nod. "Exactly. Thankfully, I managed to prevent that timeline from ever occurring, but somehow, she exists outside of time. I fear she's planning something big. Let's rejoin the others."

Camila nodded in agreement, and they continued on their way, each of them determined to protect their world from a twisted destiny.
