Logan is startled awake at his residence early the following morning when the doorbell rings, but he remains in bed since he believes he is still dreaming. When his father enters the room to get him, it appears to be genuine.

"I know it's early, but wake up, buddy. I apologize, but you must come downstairs. Mr. Mitchell says kindly

Logan follows him groggily and confusedly to the lowest floor of the house without saying anything. When he notices Harvey standing in the living room, he frowns.

"Why is he in our home, Dad? I'm not fond of him. He is harsh and mean. He abuses others. I believed he had received the just punishment you had informed me he had. Logan remarks

I am aware that his peers don't think much of my son. After coming home, he told me that you were the one who was bullying him and that you had hurt him physically, but I can now see that was all a lie. According to Harvey's dad

Is Harvey really saying this? I am the bully, even if you constantly make fun of my size? You said that I had physically abused you? What scar or bruise would you have to show for that? From yesterday, my head hurts even now. You had better be credible in this apologies. Says Logan, furiously

"I sincerely apologize for the terrible things I did to you. I apologize for calling you a nerd, assaulting you, and damaging your painting. That is all completely unacceptable. Please pardon me. Harvey claims

"Pardoned you? Why ought I to? You ignored my friends' and my repeated requests for you to quit being cruel throughout the week! Teachers advised you to stop, yet you persisted! I'm currently awake at 6:30 a.m. chatting to someone I hate! It takes guts to demand an apology when you are incapable of feeling regret! Logan yells angrily

"I'm not sure why I did all of that." Harvey claims

Yeah, you do. When you did it, you had fun! I'm still not sure why, during yesterday's dodgeball game in gym class, I took the ball you wanted, and you went so far as to punch me in the face. I surmised that your intention was to punch me as quickly as possible, not truly wanting the ball. After James tackled you, I'm sure he scared the living daylights out of your heartless soul," Logan replies.

Indeed, he did frighten me. I had no idea he was capable of it. As Harvey acknowledges

You are aware of James' fierce friendship defense instincts and that Carlos' father works as a police officer. Would you like to be placed in juvenile detention? Should you continue your bullying behavior, you will become a delinquent. Logan alerts

"No, I do not want to go to jail or prison. That is not at all what I want. Harvey claims

"So give up being a bully and become a person that people can tolerate!" Logan remarks

"I swear, I will." Harvey claims

"You're finally being held responsible for your acts, but you're just saying what I want to hear. You are performing this task out of need rather than choice. With his arms folded, Logan says.

"What more are you requesting from me?" Harvey claims

"Please leave my home and promise never to bother me or anyone else at the school." I want your parents to punish you to the furthest extent possible. I want you to get the lesson you need to. Logan remarks

"That is undoubtedly going to occur." Harvey's dad remarks

"My son's unacceptable behavior outside of our home has greatly enraged both his mother and me."

"Many thanks, sir. That is very appreciated. states Logan. "You appear to be a very refined gentleman."

"Harvey, what makes you so different from him?"

"I have no idea." Harvey scoffs

"Logan" Harvey's father and I need to talk. We'll be in the culinary area. Mitchell states

"It's just me and Harvey?!" With alarm, Logan says.

I have no faith in him! He'll assault me the moment you two are out of sight!

"He understands that if he does that, he will have to walk to school for the remainder of the year." Harvey's father says

Logan, you'll be all right. I swear to you." Mr. Mitchell replies, giving his anxious child a hug.

Out in the kitchen come the adults.

"I hope you don't damage me." Retrieving a nerf gun, Logan says.

"I would blast you into space where you can't bother anyone with this, if I could."

"I will not injure you." Please answer a question for me. Harvey claims.

Alright, tell me what you'd like to know. Logan remarks, assuming it will say something offensive.

How come you're so strange? Harvey claims.

Sorry, may I? Already enraged by the question, Logan remarks

"You're just so strange, you know? Math, science, and books are things you enjoy. Sport is not your thing. You're not infatuated with the gals. Simply said, you're so unique. Harvey claims.

"That seems to be causing you trouble?" Logan states

"No, just wondering," I said. Harvey claims.

"There's no need for me to introduce myself."Logan states

"Now that I know. I don't behave like the usual boy who likes sports and girls, thus the best way for you to be mad at me is to bully me viciously. Logan remarks

"I'm incorrect in that." Harvey claims

"I would also like to bring up the question of why you came downstairs carrying a bear dressed in a lab coat."

"You'll never be a better gentleman than Dr. Snugglesworth. When I was two, I got him. I was hospitalized due to pneumonia, but it is not your concern. Will you tell everyone in the school that I sleep with a stuffed animal? Logan remarks

No. I won't say anything at all. Harvey claims

Logan advises, "You better not."

"Do you have special needs?" Harvey declares

"No, I'm horrified that you would ever consider it. Would you presume that I am? because I'm reticent? since my social skills are appalling? You just can't seem to stop making me feel bad! Logan remarks

"Father! He needs to leave this place, please!

Yes, this is what his dad and I were actually up to. We were talking quietly in the kitchen about a fitting punishment for Harvey. We had hoped that you two would set your disagreements aside and cease to be adversaries, but it is obvious that this did not occur. Says Mr. Mitchell

"Oh my gosh, dad. I let you down. I just can't forgive him, even though I know you want me to do my hardest and not harbor resentment." Logan remarks

You've never let me down, son. You gave it your all. I'm happy for you. You persevered despite your hardships. It's really admirable. Says Mr. Mitchell

"Awesome, Dad." Hugs from Logan

"We're going to be there." Harvey's father adds, giving his youngster a shameful, downcast expression.

"I apologize, Dad." Harvey states

" Quiet. You have greatly disappointed me. In order for you to accept responsibility for your bullying, we had to get up early and travel to this kind boy's home. Better than this is what your mother and I are raising you. We have often told you that making friends is the result of treating people with kindness and respect. You get into problems when you're sly and rude. Even though earlier in the week he essentially begged you to stop, you refused, so instead you've chosen to ruin his property, insult his intelligence, and hit him with a dodgeball." Harvey's dad remarks

At last, they leave the house. Logan is no longer fatigued by then and goes upstairs to get ready for school. He tells his friends what happened at the bus stop.
