Harvey obeys without a word. His audible reprimand has made the other students delighted on the inside.
At lunch later that day, Harvey is regretfully seated by himself because no one wants to be near him or his mischievous habits.
Out of line, Logan is making his way to the regular table where he and the boys sit, but before he gets there, he notices the older teen's sadness and approaches him.
You alright?He says.
"Yes, I'm doing OK." Despite not really being there, Harvey responds.
"Is it okay if I sit with you?" Says Logan
Would you genuinely like to sit with me? Surprised, Harvey says.
Yes, you are deserving of better than to be alone and unhappy. Are you not in tremendous regret for what you did? Says Logan
Yes, my dad gave me an earful and a penalty that will take a century to finish when I left your house this morning. He gave me a to-do list that is longer than the hours in a day. You believe that I can't have friends since I'm little and unpopular. Finding friends I can really trust is really difficult for me. You've just demonstrated your lack of trustworthiness. I came over here feeling terrible for you because it seems like you can't give up your bad habits. Says Logan
"I apologize truly." Harvey claims.
Well noted. As I've mentioned many times, let me tell you something. "I am not a nerd," As he furiously leaves to join the other boys at the table, Logan remarks
When he tells them what happened, James becomes enraged. Ignoring the others' pleas for him to stay, the towering brunette walks up to Harvey's table.
Logan walked over to sit with you when no one else would, thus it shows how much nerve you have to treat him so disrespectfully. Even though he's compassionate and gentle, you still made a mistake. Pay close attention to what I'm saying—that child is my brother for eternity. He's my friend. He's incredibly distinctive and intelligent. It's okay that he is so interested in his studies. Despite that, he is not a nerd. He is not a wimp despite his little stature. It doesn't make him unapproachable if he doesn't care about sports or girls. It's not a sign of special needs if he excels academically and has social anxiety.
"I am aware. I apologize for being who I am." Harvey claims.
I will see to it that the principal and your father are aware of this. James states
"That makes sense," Harvey claims.
If you know what's best for you, avoid Logan. Never speak with him. Stay away from him when you sit down. Ignore him completely. You can't find amusement from him anymore. You will now be required to deal with me. Furthermore, when I'm through with you, I'll make sure you're wearing a body cast if you ever hurt him again. You get it? James alerts him.
"Yes, I understand completely." Acknowledging his seriousness, Harvey says.
"Well done!" As he returns to the table, James says.
James. I wish for you to stay out of trouble. It's okay that you want to protect me, but you need to exercise caution. Says Logan
