This idea randomly popped into my head about a week ago, and I can't stop thinking about it. Have never seen anybody play with this idea.

Percy's POV

A storm was coming. As clouds grey as cobblestone rolled in, he could see sparks of electricity. He knew that Zeus had been tense lately, but he didn't know it was so bad a storm was coming, and a fairly big one at that.

Now that he thought about it, all the gods had been tense lately. Seven hurricanes that never made it to shore had been spotted; it was a reportedly horrible, horrible crop year, the worst one since the great depression; Artemis dumped her hunters in her cabin and hadn't checked on them in weeks; the days had been cold for about two months, in the summer, in New York, where the shade doesn't help the heat, just to name a few. The gods were up to something. Something huge, and whatever it was, the demigods would either love them or hate them.

There were some other problems. All of their families had moved to roughly the same place. It was strange. Whatever the gods were planning was unprecedented.

The bell rang, signaling that the leaders of all the various cabins were to meet at the big cabin, which was almost never a good sign.

Percy was the first one to get to the big cabin, then Annabeth, then Piper, then Clarisse, and then all the others started trickling in.

As all of them took their respective seats, Chiron made an announcement.

"The gods have called a meeting". Looks were shot around the room, knowing that this was never a good sign, except for Clovis, the son of Hypnos, who was taking a quick power nap.

"I don't know what it is about", Chiron said as all of them were looking at him expectantly to know what this meeting was about.

"However Zeus told me to be there, and therefore it must be important. He has also requested to have all the cabin leaders, as well as one other trusted person from their respective cabins. We will know soon enough. All of you must elect someone responsible enough to look after the camp. After that, the meeting shall be adjourned".

All the demigods sat there in silence, before Piper said, "I nominate Hazel Levesque or Frank Zhou to look after the camp".

Everyone agreed they would be good choices, for they were not cabin leaders, and they were staying in camp for the time being.

"All right everybody", Chiron said. "Meeting adjourned".

Everybody left except Clovis, still taking his power nap, even with slime in his hair, courtesy of the Stoll brothers.

Line Break

"You have all been called here to discuss a very important matter", Zeus boomed, four hours after the meeting at the big cabin.

"This is not something we would usually discuss, however, we know you would keep it a secret", Poseidon said, blinking rapidly.

"There is no better way to say it than straight out", Zeus said. "Now I must warn you, this will be shocking, and you don't have to participate".

Everybody thought they were prepared. All of them were wrong.

"The gods are moving", Zeus said.

How was it?
