It started out innocently enough.

Phil had been getting numerous Wish adds - as had the others - but with increasingly. . .strange items. Which, of course, piqued his curiosity quite a bit.

To the point that Dan left the room whenever Phil got on a laptop.

Eventually, he told him just to buy something if it was that interesting.

So he did.

"Uh...what are ye wearin'?"

"Nicholas Cage pants!"

"O. . . kay?" Jack found it odd, but didn't push any further 'cause, hey, he could summon a sentient eyeball so who was he to judge?

Mark found that he quite liked the useless box, and Dan couldn't complain either.

That was before Dan felt the stirrings of something mischievous and vague, utter delight.

That was what should have been the first sign.

The worms should have been second.

"Wat the bejeebus f'in son of a-!"

It was followed by sliding, and a crash, loud Irish swearing destroying the calm evening. Dan and Phil ran to see what was the matter, only for Phil to fall into laughter when he realized what was going on.

Jack was on the floor, face red and creased in disgust. A towel from the far left bathroom lay crumpled on the ground, full of worms.

"How the -ookin' hell-?!"

Dan was grimacing as he bent forward and picked one of the worms up, and then glaring at Phil.

"Phil? What the hell."

"What?" He gasped between cackling. "They're fake!"

"And you gave Seán a heart attack!"

Eventually, they cleaned things up, and Phil apologized. Jack wasn't too mad about it and swore revenge with a grin.

In fact, the matter was forgotten until a few weeks later, when Dan found a sequined Nick Cage pillow in the living room, and Mark poured a bowl of fake teeth.
