Hello everyone, this is an OC chapter I did a while ago, but I was waiting to finish the last chapter before I posted it. This will be one of the few OC chapters I'll do for the story. Oh and in case you missed it with the website being buggy out, (at least for me), I did post the Battle of Bright Moon in the last chapter. Now here's chapter 14.
Chapter 14
Teamwork Sometimes Needs Hard Work
Whispering Woods
Two weeks after the battle of Bright Moon, and The Best Friend Squad plus the Princess and all of their Pokemon, have been doing their best to protect the forest as it grow back from the Horde's robots, but they have been taking a bit of damage from all the fighting, only most of the damage wasn't from the robots.
"Feraligatr use Superpower. And Popplio, help me with Disarming Voice." Noah said to Feraligatr, as he fired his top from his Pokemon Ranger Launcher, and made a circle around the robot, trapping it in a bubble.
"Right." Feraligatr and Popplio said to Noah, as they got ready to attack. Only for Adora, in her She-Ra form, and Eevee to get in front of them. "Eevee pop that bubble with Swift." Adora said to Eevee.
"Right." Eevee said, as she whipped her tail at the bubble, shooting yellow stars at the bubble, popping it. Then as the robot fell to the ground, Adora slashed in half, making it explode.
"Hey we had that!" Noah said to Adora. "Sorry Noah. Look, another one. Let's go Eevee." Adora said to Noah, before running off with Eevee.
"Rowlet use Razor Leaf, and try not to break it." Bow said to Rowlet, as he fired an arrow into the robot's face screen, making it shut down. "On it." Rowlet said, as he flapped his wings, sending sharp leaves into another robot's face screen, making it shut down.
"Thanks Bow, I'll take it from here." Glimmer said to Bow as she teleported and touched the two robots Bow and Rowlet took down. "Ralts distract a couple robots with Double Team." Glimmer said to Ralts, as she teleported away with the robots.
"Right." Ralts said, as he made copies of himself, and ran around a couple robots, distracting them. Then Glimmer appeared above the robots, and let them go, before teleporting away.
"No wait, I need one…" Bow said, as he rushed Glimmer and Ralts, but was interrupted by the robots falling from the sky crashing into the other two, making an explosion, with Ralts teleporting away, as the shock wave from the blast sent Bow flying into a tree, making Bow groan in pain.
"Bergmite use Avalanche." Forsta said to Bergmite. "On it." Bergmite said to Frosta, as he made chucks of ice fall above a lot of robots, forcing them all down. Then Forsta made a wave of ice at the robots, sending them flying into the air, and in the direction Noah was in.
"Oh, no!" Noah said, as he started to run. That's when the robots crushed landed behind Noah, causing a big explosion, sending Noah right into a tree hard enough to leave an imprint of him in it.
"Deerling I could use some help with Leech Seed." Perfuma said to Deerling. "With pleasure." Deerling said, as she fired seeds from her mouth, hitting a few robots, and clogging it up with vines. This made it easy for Perfuma to crush all of them.
"Staryu use Water Gun." Mermista said to Staryu, as she washed away a couple robots with a water wave that came out of nowhere. Staryu said nothing, as he fired a steam of water at the last robot, short circuiting the robot and making it blow up.
"Wait too go everyone! Awesome work out there." Adora said to everyone, as they celebrated their win. That's when Noah walked up to everyone, with a little blood coming down his face, and a mean look in his eyes. "War Room! Now!" Noah said to everyone, with a very serious tune in his voice.
Bright Moon
After returning to Bright Moon, and getting Noah and Bow all patch up, everyone was in the war room. "So why did you call us here? I have like better things to do?" Mermista asked Noah, as Noah sat with his arms crossed.
"We need to talk about that last battle." Noah said to everyone. "You mean about how awesome I was when I made the ice wall and sent that robot flying?" Frosta asked Noah, as she stood on her chair, her fist covered in ice. "Yes, and landed near me causing it to explode and send me flying into a tree." Noah said to Forsta. "Oh, right." Forsta said, as she sat back down.
"As you all know we've been trying to hold back the Horde for a week known as the Pokemon try helping the forest grow back. But it's been a very slow progress, with the robots ambushing Pokemon and us fighting the bots. We have also taken some big hits as well." Bow said to everyone.
"But not from the robots, from each other. We need to try and figure out how to fight together, or at the very least not hit each other by accident." Noah said to everyone. "So what do you propose we do about this?" Glimmer asked Noah.
"I have arranged with Angella for us to spend a day on an island in the middle of nowhere, where we can practice without any problem." Noah said to everyone, as he turned on the map table, and moved it to an island a few hours off Bright Moon's coast. "Is all this really necessary?" Glimmer asked Noah. "If you all want me and Bow to live for another week, yes." Noah said to Glimmer.
"But what if the Horde attacks while we're gone?" Adora asked Noah. "The adults and their Pokemon can handle things for one day." Noah said to Adora. "What if the Horde has a base there or attacks us?" Adora asked Noah.
"It's an abandoned island in the middle of nowhere. It has nothing of value and offers no strategic advantage. What could the Horde possibly want with a place like that." Noah said to Adora.
Desert Island
Meanwhile on the exact desert Island that Noah was talking about, there was a freshly made Horde base on it, with a lot of Pokemon in metal box cages, with the cages insides covered in lines that lead to a slot next to the cage's locks, the Pokemon in the cages kept using one of their attacks again and again. The guards were all robots, the only Horde soldiers in the place where Chleo, Kyle, and their Pokemon, with Kyle sweating way too much in the tropical heat of the island.
"How much longer are we going to be here? The heat is killing me?" Kyle asked Chloe, as they walked around the cages, with Chloe holding a small wooden box. "Kyle, you've only been here for an hour. Deal with it. I've only recently been able to make progress. It took 10 days to figure out how to turn Pokemon attacks into data, and 3 days to set up this base and catch all these Pokemon." Chleo said to Kyle.
"Remind me why where?" Kyle asked Chloe. "For Project Iron Kyle. Need I remind you that after the Battle of Bright Moon, Pokemon and civilians have been joining the Rebellion in mass. And while we can make robots to counter all of them, Lord Hordak wants newer, stronger, never before seen robots to turn the tide on them. And that is Project Iron." Chloe said to Kyle.
"No I mean, why did you have the base made here?" Kyle asked Chloe. "Because it's an island in the middle of nowhere. Here I collect what we need from Project Iron in peace." Chloe said to Kyle.
"But couldn't we do this at the Fright Zone? Where there's air conditioning?" Kyle asked Chloe. "After the Pokemon went on a rampage as they escaped from the Fright Zone last time, Hordak doesn't want a large number of Pokemon in cages in the Fright Zone." Chloe said to Kyle.
"Can't we just take the package and go?" Nickit asked Chloe. "You can go when I say so, after all you two are just my delivery boys, and I've barely started to collect the data." Chleo said to Nickit.
Then they heard a ding. "But all that's about to change." Chloe said to Kyle and Nickit, as they moved to one of the cages. Once they reached the cage, Chloe opened the slot next to the lock, revealing a yellow data coin with an electric type symbol on one side and the other side had a TM 147 carved into it.
"It still impresses me that Entrapta was able to do something like this." Chloe said, as she dropped the data coin in the wooden box, and pulled out a clear data coin and put it in the slot next to the lock. "But we'll need as much as we can get if we want Project Iron to be the ultimate weapon we hope it can be." Chloe said out loud.
"But what if the Princesses find this place?" Kyle asked Chloe. "What reason would they come here? And even if they did. I have traps that will slow them down long enough for me to gather the last of the data before I have to destroy the machines. Now go sit in a connor and try and stay alive, while I work on gathering the data." Chloe said to Kyle, as they heard more dings.
A few hours later, The Best Friend Squad, and the Princess, landed on the island, with all their Pokemon in their Pokeballs. "Aw, look at the place. Wide open spaces, no one around, the perfect place to practice fighting together." Noah said to everyone.
"I'm telling you Noah, we don't need to practice. We're doing just fine." Glimmer said to Noah. "Then help me set up some training dummies and prove me wrong." Noah said to Glimmer. Glimmer groaned, as everyone started to set up some targets.
A few minutes later, everyone set up some logs that were planted into the ground, with rock on top of them. "Now let's start small and have everyone just use one Pokemon, I'll use two. And remember, aim for just the rocks." Noah said to everyone, as he let out Feraligatr and Popplio.
"I still think this is a waste of time. But fine." Glimmer said to Noah, as she let out Ralts, Adora let out Eevee, Bow let out Rowlet, Mermista let out Staryu, Forsta let out Bergmite, and Perfuma let out Deerling.
"Feraligatr use Slash. And Popplio, help him with Aqua Jet." Noah said to Feraligatr and Popplio, as he focused the nuzzle on his blaster, and fired a pulse that knocked off one of the rocks.
"You got it." Feraligatr and Popplio said, as Feraligatr's claws glowed white, and changed at the targets, at the same time Popplio encased herself in water, and moved at high speed, going around Feraligatr and she knocked a rock off a target, and Feraligatr slash a rock on the targets, knocking it off.
"Fine. Eevee use Swift, and get this over with." Adora said to Eevee. "Staryu use Swift as well." Mermista said to Staryu. "Right." Eevee said to Adora, as Staryu's gem blinked. Then as Eevee whipped her tail at the targets, at the same time Staryu spun. This caused both of them to fire yellow stars at the targets. But instead of hitting the targets, the stars hit each other breaking into sparkly dust.
"Okay, a little hiccup but we can fix that. Right Bow?" Glimmer asked Bow. "Yeah. Rowlet use Shadow Sneak." Bow said to Rowlet. "And Ralts, use Zen Headbutt." Glimmer said to Ralts.
"Sure." Rowlet said, as he sank into the shadows. "If you say so." Ralts said, as his head glowed teal, and he charged at one of the targets. But then Rowlet came out of the shadow, right in front of the target Ralts was charging at, making Ralts ram into Rowlet, and taking out the whole target, not just the rock like Noah said.
"Okay. Bergmite use Take Down." Forsta said to Bergmite. "Deerling, I'm sorry to ask this of you, but can you use Take Down as well." Perfuma asked Deerling.
"On it." Bergmite and Deerling said, as they glowed white, and charged at the targets. But they headed for the same target, and hit each other, causing them to crash into the targets, making them knock over the targets and starting a domino effect, taking out the other targets.
"Now will you admit we need work?" Noah asked Glimmer. "We may get in each other's way, but we hit all of the targets, so I say we're still pretty awesome." Glimmer said to Noah, making Noah slap a hand into his face.
"You know what. Fine! If none of you want to work together, then I'm going to practice with my Pokemon over there, without you!" Noah said to everyone, as he walked in a random direction.
But that's when the ground under Noah broke apart and Noah fell down a hole. Everyone then heard a squishy sound. "Noah! Are you okay?!" Adora asked Noah, as everyone rushed to spot Noah fell in.
Then Noah climbed out of the hole, covered in whip cream. "I'm very sticky. But I'm not hurt." Noah said, as he finished climbing out of the hole, with none of them noticing a faint red light flashing in the hole.
"Scald!" Octillery said, as he fired a steam of hot water at Noah, watching the whip cream off Noah. "What's a hole full of whip cream doing here?" Forsta asked everyone. "Could it be the Horde?" Glimmer asked everyone. "The Horde wouldn't use such a silly trap." Adora said to everyone.
"In any case, someone planted this trap, and if they're on this island, I'll make them pay." Noah said to everyone, as he started to walk in a random direction. The others just shrugged their shoulders and followed Noah.
Back at the Horde base, as Chloe put another data coin in the wooden box, with a large number of data coins now in the box, her phone buzzed. Chloe then pulled out her phone, and as open her screen, a video of Noah falling into the hole with whip cream, and laughed a little.
"Looks like the Rebellion is here. No matter, I've got plenty of data coins for Project Iron. Kyle! I need you!" Chloe said, calling out of Kyle. but Kyle didn't come. "Kyle? Where are you? You better not be dead. I told you to stay alive." Chloe said to Kyle, as she looked around for Kyle.
Chloe found Kyle sitting in a connor of the place, with his eyes closed, sweating like crazy, and Nickit whipping Kyle with a towel, and a bucket of cold water next to them. "Kyle get up!" Chloe said to Kyle, as she put the wooden box down, and picked up the bucket of cold water and tossed the water into Kyle's face.
Kyle then panicked a little in surprise, before standing at attention. "The Rebellion is here." Chloe said to Kyle. "Right. What do you need me to do for the battle?" Kyle asked Chloe. "Nothing. You're of no help in a fight." Chloe said to Kyle, as she picked up the wooden box.
"You and Nickit only have one job, to hide near the skiff, and protect this box. But be careful, I laid some traps over there as well." Chloe said to Kyle, as she closed the lid to the wooden box, and handed it to Kyle.
"It's a really simple task, hide and don't fall into a trap. It's one that you can't even mess up. And if you do mess it up. I'm leaving you two here. Understood?" Chloe asked Kyle and Nickit. "Yes ma'am." Kyle and Nickit said to Chloe.
"Then what are you doing standing here? GO!" Chloe said to Kyle and Nickit. Kyle and Nickit said nothing, before running away at high speed. "Now then, time to get ready for the Rebellion." Chloe said to everyone, as she got ready for everyone.
Meanwhile, the Best Friend Squad, the Princess, and all of their Pokemon were walking around the island, falling into a couple traps along the way, and getting annoyed by all this. "I had, with all these stupid traps!" Glimmer said to everyone, as she brushed feathers off herself, as they kept walking.
"These traps are more like pranks than anything else." Forsta said to everyone. "It is odd. If these were meant to trap us, they wouldn't be this silly." Bow said to everyone. "You still think the Horde is behind this?" Noah asked Adora, before they heard something.
They all then quietly moved to some trees and hid behind some trees and looked at the beach. Then they looked out to the beach and noticed Horde soldiers in heavy armor unloading Pokemon in cages from a big ship.
Adora turned to Noah with a smirk on her face. "Say anything and I'll blast you." Noah said to Adora, not looking at Adora, but could feel the smirk on her face. "What are they doing?" Perfuma asked everyone. "Could they be catching Pokemon?" Bow asked everyone. "No, some of these Pokemon don't live in this kind of environment, and it looks like they're dragging them deeper into the island." Feraligatr said to Bow.
"In any case. We have to put a stop to them." Glimmer said to everyone. "Yes, let's get them!" Forsta said to everyone, as they charged at the Horde soldiers, leaving Noah and his Pokemon behind.
Noah then sighed. "Why do I have the feeling that this is going to hurt?" Noah asked himself, before he went after the others. "Now then, Feraligatr use Aqua Tail. And Popplio, help him with Aqua Jet." Noah said to Feraligatr and Popplio, as he fired a few shots from his pulse rifle at the Horde soldiers, taking them out.
"Right." Feraligatr and Popplio said, as Feraligatr's tail was encased in water and slammed his tail into a couple Horde soldiers sending them flying into the sea, at the same time Popplio encased herself in water and rushed a couple Horde soldiers hitting them in the head knocking them out.
"Eevee use Quick Attack." Adora said to Eevee, as she turned into her She-Ra form, and started to slash Horde soldiers at high speed. "Right." Eevee said, as she glowed white, and moved at high speed, tackling a couple Horde soldiers.
"Ralts use Confusion." Glimmer said to Ralts, as she summoned her staff, and swung it at a Horde soldier, who was using its weapon to block Glimmer's attacks. "Right." Ralts said, as his eyes glowed teal. Then a teal outline appeared on the Horde soldier. But the Horde soldier was able to break free, surprising Glimmer, and kicking Glimmer away and next to a cage.
"That's no good. I need some back up." Glimmer said, as she reached for Espurr's Pokeball. "I can help if you let me out." A female voice said to Glimmer, making Glimmer freeze. Glimmer turned to see a Pokemon in the cage.
This Pokemon was a 3 foot goat-like humanoid with a big round body with the upper part of the of the body benign white and the lower part being black, it's arms where black and hand where white, a tiny fluffy tail, a round head with white fur around its face, black eyes, and horns that looked like croissants.
"I'm Indeedee, and I can help Ralts, if you can get me out of this cage." the goat said to Glimmer. "Well we could use a hand." Glimmer said to Indeedee, as she used her staff to force open Indeedee's cage.
"Thank you. Now then, let me help power you up with Psychic Terrain." Indeedee said, as she let out a pink pulse, making a pink circle around her appear on the ground. "Try it again." Indeedee said to Ralts.
"Okay. Confusion." Ralts said, as his eyes glowed teal with a pink outline around his eyes. Then a teal and pink outline appeared on the Horde soldiers, forcing him into the sand. "My attack, Psychic Terrain, makes a field that not only powers up Psychic type moves, but stops priority moves." Indeedee said to Ralts. "I like this." Glimmer said, as she summoned her staff and used it to hit the Horde soldier in the back of the head, knocking the Horde soldier out.
"Rowlet use Razor Leaf." Bow said to Rowlet, as he fired arrows at a Horde soldier. "Right." Rowlet said, as he flapped his wings and fired sharp leaves at the Horde soldier. But the arrows and leaves just scratched the armor.
"His armor is too strong." Rowlet said to Bow. "We can break it, if you let us out." A voice said to Bow. This made Bow and Rowlet turn to see a strange Pokemon in 6 separate cages.
In each cage was six black ball with two legs, white eye's with blue outline on each of them, and wearing yellow armor with red horns, with the one in front having a longer horn, and each ball had two shields on the sides of their bodies, the shields where yellow circles with white circles on them, and a red spick in the middle of the shield.
"Let us out, and we, the mighty Falinks, can take care of this thug." The leader of the six black ball creatures said to Bow. "Well we could use the help." Bow said, as he fired an arrow at each of the cage, breaking the lock, and freeing the Pokemon.
"Thanks. Now everyone, help me with Smark Strike." The Falinks leader said, as the other formed into a star formation, with the leader on top of them. Then a target appeared in the leader's sight, and he found the weak spot in the Horde Soldiers armor.
"Charge." The leader said, as they all charged at the Horde soldier, with the leader's horn glowing silver. Then as Falinks got close to the Horde soldier, the leader jumped off and rammed into the armor's weak spot, breaking the armor, and landing a big hit on the Horde soldier, making the Horde soldier pass out in pain. "Nice work." Bow said to Falinks.
"Bergmite use Bite." Forsta said to Bermite, as she encased her fist in ice and started to punch Horde soldiers in the face. "Right." Bermite said, as he moved to a Horde soldier, bit into its leg, and pulled. This forced the Horde soldier to his knees, and made it easy for Forsta to punch the Horde soldier in the face.
"Not bad. Mind if I get in on the action?" a male voice asked Frosta. Frosta turned her head to see a tiny lizard in a cage.
The lizard was gray with an oval-shaped body, with a tiny tail and two bumps on its, a dark fin on the back, stubby legs and arms with stubby toes and fingers, a big snot, big yellow eyes, and two long thin yellow flaps, one on both arms.
"You want to fight Lizzie?" Forsta asked the lizard. "First I'm a boy, and second I'm a Frigibax, a fierce and mighty ice dragon, yes I want to fight." The lizard said to Forsta. "I like you. Let's see what you got." Forsta said to Frigibax, as she made a shade of ice, and tossed it at the cage holding Frigibax, breaking it open and freeing him.
"Thanks." Frigibax said to Forsta. "Ice Fang." Frigibax said, as he opened his mouth, and three sharp ice blue teeth, with two on top and one on the bottom. Frigibax then bit into the leg of a Horde soldier, freezing the leg and part of the land around it. This surprised the Horde soldier, and made him forget Forsta, getting an ice punch to the face. "Nice work." Forsta said to Frigibax.
"Deerling use Double Kick." Perfuma said to Deerling, as she wrapped a Horde soldier in a vine. "Right." Deerling said, as she rushed the Horde soldier, and turned around at the last second. Deerlign then used her back legs to kick the helmet of the Horde soldier.
"Sleep Powder." A male voice said, as a burst of green powder came out of nowhere, and hit the Horde soldier. "What the?" The Horde soldier said, before getting sleepy and falling asleep.
Perfuma and Deerling looked in the direction that the powder came form, and saw a very big green lizard with patches of dark green scattered all over its body, four legs, three white claws on the end of each of its legs, big white eye with red iris, and a flower bulb on is back, in a cage.
"Was that you?" Perfuma asked the lizard. "Yes. I'm Bulbasaur, and I did want you to get hurt or hurt them." The lizard said to Perfuma. "Ah, aren't you a kind one? Let's get you out of there." Peruma said to Bulbasaur, as she helped Bulbasaur out of the cage.
"Staryu use Confuse Ray." Mermista said to Staryu. Staryu said nothing, as he fired a few balls of light from his crystal, hitting the Horde soldiers, making them confused and unable to focus. This made it easy for Mermista to wash them all away.
"Nice work Staryu." Mermista said to Staryu. "Nah, I've seen better." A male voice said to Mermista. This caused Mermista to turn her head to a glass jar full of sea water, with a couple holes on the top of it.
In the glass jar is a brown kelp-like creature, with three tail fins, a spike on it;s back, light blue fins, a dark purple belly, neck, and face, and red eyes. "I mean all he did was confuse those guards." the kelp said to Mermista.
"You think you can do better, little kelp?" Mermista asked the kelp. "It's Skrelp actually. And as much as I would rather not, if you let me out, you can be the judge." The Kelp said to Mermista. "Whatever." Mermista said, as she made her water cut, through the glass jar, opening the top up, letting Skrelp stick his head out of the jar.
"Thank you. Now let me show you how it's down. Acid." Skrelp said to Mermista, as he fired a spray of acid at some Horde soldiers' helmets, making their helmets melt a little, blinding them. Then Mermista washed the last of Horde away with another wave, hitting Noah in the process.
"Okay, not bad." Mermista said to Skrelp. "Thank you. But you might have overdid it." Skrelp said to Mermista, as they noticed Noah's head sticking out of the sand, and the rest of him buried. "If you're all done messing around. GET ME OUT OF THIS SAND!" Noah said to everyone. Everyone looked at each other, before splitting up, with some digging out Noah, and the others tying up the Horde Soldiers.
A few minutes later everyone finished digging Noah out of the sand, and finished trying the Horde Soldiers, with Adora back to normal and Glimmer's staff gone. "You good Noah?" Adora asked Noah. "I'm alive, but I got sand everywhere." Noah said to Adora, as he shook his legs, shaking out a pound of sand.
"In anycase, do we have at least one Horde soldier awake for questioning?" Noah asked everyone. "I caught one awake." Perfuma said to Noah, as she made some roots move the Horde soldier she, Deerling, and Bulbasaur caught to the middle of everyone.
"All right, tell us everything you know." Adora said to the Horde soldier, trying to use her She-Ra form to imitate the Horde soldier. "I have nothing to say to you. You don't scare me." The Horde soldier said to Adora, acting tough.
Noah then moved to the Horde soldier's side. "Listen buddy. At the moment, you have two options, you tell us what we want to know, or we leave you alone with all these angry Pokemon." Noah said to the Horde soldier, as all of the Pokemon got ready to attack him.
This made the Horde soldier laugh nervously. "Okay… what do you want to know?" The Horde soldier asked everyone. "Why don't you tell us what you're doing here?" Noah asked the Horde soldier, as he walked away from the Horde soldier.
"In truth, I have no idea. My squad was just given the random task of delivering Pokemon to this island." The Horde soldier said to Noah. "But why here?" Glimmer asked the Horde soldier. "I don't know. Something about a new Pokemon prison that was put up here the other day." The Horde soldier said to Glimmer.
"Noah, I thought you said this place was deserted. How come you didn't know about the new Horde base? Didn't you send scouts?" Bow asked Noah. "Of course I didn't. This place is so out of the way and useless that I thought the Horde would have no interest in it." Noah said to Bow.
"Where is this Horde prison?" Adora asked the Horde soldier. "It's not that far. A couple miles northwest of here." The Horde soldier said to Adora. "Thanks." Noah said to the Horde soldier, before using the butt of his rifle to knock out the Horde soldier.
"Was that necessary?" Perfuma asked Noah, as she used her vines to open the other cages and let out the rest of the Pokemon. "What, we could have him alert the prison. Now this wasn't part of the plan for the day, but let's go save those captured Pokemon." Noah said to everyone. "Wait a minute." A voice said to them.
Everyone turned to see Indeedee, Falinks, Frigibax, Bulbasaur, and Skrelp standing behind them. "We want to come with you." Indeedee said to everyone. "Are you sure? We're fighting a war. Coming with us will only drag you into it." Noah said to the Pokemon.
"We can't just hide away while other Pokemon like us are getting captured and used for who knows what." Falinks said to Noah. "Yeah, we may be small, but we're mighty." Frigibax said to everyone. "I'm not a fighter, but I want to help too." Bulbasaur said to everyone. "I really don't care, but I rather have people like you on my side." Skrelp said to everyone.
"I like them, I say we take them." Glimmer said to everyone. "Well we could use the help." Adora said to everyone, as everyone turned to Noah. "You don't need my permission, if you want them, you can take them. But first you should know what these Pokemon are." Noah said to everyone as he pulled out his phone.
Indeedee. Emotion Pokemon. Normal + Psychic.
They diligently serve people and Pokemon so they can gather feelings of gratitude. The females are particularly good at babysitting.
Falinks. Formation Pokemon. Fighting.
The leader, known as the brass, uses its extendible horn to issue order to the others when it's time to change formation.
Frigibax. Ice Fin Pokemon. Dragon + Ice.
This Pokemon Lives in forests and craggy areas. Using the power of its dorsal fin, it cools the inside of its nest like a refrigerator.
Bulbasaur. Seed Pokemon. Grass + Poison.
For some time after its birth, it grows by taking nourishment from the seed on its back.
Skrelp. Mock Kelp Pokemon. Water + Poison.
Skrelp evades its enemies by hiding amid drifting seaweed. It eats rotten seaweed to create its poison.
"I call dibs on Indeedee." Glimmer said to everyone, as Noah put his phone away. "I'm okay with that." Indeedee said, as she moved to Glimmer.
"Hey Falinks, care to join me and Rowlet?" Bow asked Falinks. "We'd be glad to join you two, and help Rowlet get stronger." Falinks said to Bow, as they walked to Falinks.
"Frigibax, your the dragon of the ice, the dragon of my dream. I can't wait to see what you grow into." Forsta said to Frigibax. "Considering you know my awesomeness, I would be glad to join you." Frigibax said to Forsta, as he moved to Forsta.
"Bulbasaur, would you like to come with me?" Perfuma asked Bulbasaur. "But I'm not that much of a fighter, so are you sure you want me?" Bulbasaur asked Perfuma. "I don't like fighting either, so it won't be a problem." Perfuma said to Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur smiled, as he walked over to Perfuma.
"I guess that means you're my new Pokemon." Mermista said to Skrelp, as she picked up Skrelp, with a flat tune in her voice. "Whatever." Skrelp said to Mermista, with a flat tune in his voice.
"Now that you all got your new Pokemon, let's head to the prison." Noah said to everyone. "Right. Let's go crush the Horde." Forsta said to everyone, as she made ice fist, and smashed them together. "I'm starting to like her more and more." Frigibax said, as they started to walk.
Some time later everyone made it to Chloe's base, only to find it was unguarded and deserted, with the front door open. "That's odd. You think there would be at least a few Horde soldiers guarding this place." Bow said to everyone. "Let's just rush in." Adora said to everyone.
"No, this smells like a trap. We have to play it smart." Noah said to everyone, with Adora huffing and ignoring Noah. "Then what do you purpose we do?" Glimmer asked Noah. "Well." Noah said, as he kneeled down and started to draw lines in the dirt.
"First Perfuma and her Pokemon can cause a distraction over here, my making a loud noise. Then Forsta and her Pokemoncan ambush the guards that go to check it out. Then Glimmer will teleport herself, Bow, and all of their Pokemon to the other side of the prison, and sneak inside. Meanwhile, Me, Adora, and our Pokemon will rush the front, screaming like crazy, and try to lure out any guards still inside. Then Mirmista and her Pokemon will use their powers to take care of any guards that follow us outside the prison. This is probably our best play. Bow care to give me a can percentage of success?" Noah said to everyone and asked Bow.
Bow then pulled out his pad, and put in Noah's plan. "Uh… it's coming up with a 32.3 % chance of success." Bow said to Noah. "Well, I guess we'll just have to work with it." Noah said to everyone.
"Alright everyone let's do this! FOR THE HONOR OF GRAYSKULL!" Adora yelled, as she changed into her She-Ra form, charging right into the front door. "She just ran in." Noah said to everyone.
"Let's go! Let's go! Let's go!" Glimmer said, as everyone but Noah ran after Adora. "Dang it Adora!" Mermista said, as she reluctantly followed everyone. "Stick to the plan everyone! STICK TO THE PLAN!" Noah said, as he ran after everyone.
But once they got in, everyone stopped in the middle of the prison, and saw nothing, there wasn't a single person or robot in sight. "Well that was let down." Adora said to everyone, as they looked at the prison.
"Where is everyone?" Glimmer asked everyone. "You think they abandoned the place? Bow asked everyone. "It's not abandoned. I just don't need anyone else." A voice said to everyone.
Everyone then turned their heads to see Chloe standing above them, with Greninja, Crawdaunt, and Oshawott standing with her. "Chloe! What are you doing here? Where's Catra?" Adora asked Chloe.
"You really think I could get Catra to come to this place? Just getting her on a ship is a challenge. So it's just me and my Pokemon here, alone." Chloe said to Adora. "What are you doing here?" Noah asked Chloe.
"I'm testing out our new Pokemon prison. After you freed all those Pokemon from the Fight Zone, we decided to test new cells for Pokemon." Chloe said to everyone. "So they sent you alone to watch these Pokemon?" Glimmer asked Chloe. "I assure you I can handle these Pokemon, and even magical intruders like you." Chloe said to Glimmer.
"Oh yeah, you and what army?" Glimmer asked Chloe, making Chloe smile. "Oh, this army." Chloe said to Glimmer, as she pulled out a remote and pressed a big red button.
That's when a very large number of Horde robots came from behind Chloe and surrounded them, at the same time large cannons came out of the walls of the prison and were aimed at them. "You know, I've waited my whole life for someone to ask me that." Chloe said to everyone.
Everyone dropped their jaws in surprise. "You just had to ask, didn't you?" Noah asked Glimmer. "Now, I would ask you to surrender, but I know you won't. So let's just jump right into the fight shall we?" Chloe asked everyone, as the battle started.
"Popplio/Oshawott use Aqua Jet." Noah and Chloe said to Popplio and Oshawott, as they traded shots while running around. "Right." Popplio/Oshawott said, as they encased themselves in water and moved at high speed, clashing with each other, making a water version of sparks with each hit.
"Superpower." Feraligatr said, as he flexed his muscles. "Eevee help him with Helping Hand." Adora said to Eevee, as she slashed threw a handful of robots. "No it." Eevee said to Adora, as she moved to touch Feraligatr's tail. This made white energy flow from Eevee to Feraligatr, making Feraligatr feel amazing. Feraligatr then started to grab some of the robots and tossed them into the cannons making big explosions.
"Come on you two, we can't let them have all the fun." Glimmer said to Innedee and Ralts, as she summoned her staff and used it to start smashing the robots. "Right behind you Glimmer. Zen Headbutt." Ralts said to Glimmer, as he charged at a robot, with his head glowing teal.
"Yes. After You." Indeedee said to Ralts, as she held out her right hand to Ralts, and her eyes flash white. Then Ralts glowed white, and Ralts moved at extreme speed. This made Ralts ram right threw not only the robot he was charging, but a couple robots behind it, making a big explosion.
"Oh, sorry. I forgot I knew that move." Indeedee said to Ralts, as Ralts shook his head. "What was that?" Glimmer asked Indeedee. "It was After You. it allows me to power up my partner and make him or her move at high speed for one attack." Indeedee said to Glimmer. "I like you more and more." Glimmer said to Indeedee.
"Well, well, well, looks like you heroes got some new Pokemon. Let's see what they can do. Water Shuriken." Greninja said, as he made shurikens out of water, and threw them at Falinks.
"You won't scare us. No Retreat!" Falinks said, as he started to dance, glowing red. Then Falinks formed a defense formation, and moved the disc on the side of their bodies blocking the Water Shurikens. "Our armor is too tough for an attack like that." Falink said to Greninja.
"You may be stronger, but now you can't run. Double Team and Shadow Sneak." Greninja said to Falink, as he made six copies of himself and sank into the shadows. Then the shadows started to move around Falink at high speed.
"Circle formation." The Leader Falinks said to the other Falinks. Falinks then form its formation, with all their eyes watching the shadows. Then the shadow charged at them. "Now, Counter!" The leader Falinks said to the others, as all of their horns glowed red.
Then Greninja came out of the shadow and tried to punch Failinks, but Falinks dodged the attack, and rammed their horns into Greninja gut, making Greninja gasp for air, as his copies broke apart, and the real Greninja flying in the air.
"Rowlet use Tackle." Bow said to Rowlet, as he fired arrows at robots none stop, not trying to save one of them. "Right." Rowlet said, as he flew up and rammed into Greninja's gut, making Greninja fall towards the ground faster.
With Crawdaunt, he was dodging Forsta who was trying to punch Crawdaunt in the face with ice fists. "It's cute that you think you can play with the big boys. But let me show you how it's done. Liquidation!" Crawduant said, as water blades came out of his pincers, and he started to swing them at Forsta.
Forsta then crossed her arm and made an ice shield blocking the attack, but was still sent flying back a little. "Ha, I knew you weren't as tough as everyone said. You should go home and make a snowman." Crawduant said to Forsta, as he moved to Forsta.
"Leave her alone. Bite." Bergmite said, as he bit into Crawduant's tail. Crawduant felt a sting for a few seconds, before looking at Bergmite, with a flat look on his face. Crawduant then whipped his tail, forcing Bergmite off his tail.
"What was the point of that?" Crawdaunt asked Bergmite. "It was a distraction." Bergmite said to Crawduant. "Distraction? For what?" Crawdaunt asked Bergmite.
"For me! Dragon Tail!" Frigibax as his stubby, tiny tail grew into a three foot tail covered in teal scales. Frigibax then swatted his tail into Crawdaunt's side, sending Crawduant flying.
Then, by dumb luck, Greninja and Crawdaunt end up going into the same spot, and crash into each other. The two of them groaned, as they slowly started to get up.
"Staryu, use Confuse Ray." Mermista said to Staryu, as she made a wave come out from under the robots, and sent them flying.
Staryu said nothing, as he fired a few balls of light from his crystal, hitting Greninja and Crawdaunt, making them confused, but still able to get up and stand on their own feet.
"Toxic." Skrelp said, as he fired purple goo at Greninja and Crawdaunt, hitting them, and making them feel weak, as a purple mark appeared under their eyes.
"Deerling use Leech Seed." Perfuma said to Deerling, as she summoned some vines, and used them to crush a couple robots.
"You got it." Deerling said, as she fired a few seeds at Greninja and Crawdaunt, hitting them and causing vines to grow on them, trapping them and draining what little energy they had left.
Soon Greninja and Crawdaunt were having a hard time standing. "They're almost down. Bulbasaur, care to finish them off?" Perfuma said to everyone and asked Bulbasaur.
"Sure. Magical Leaf." Bulbasaur said, as he fired sharp multi-color leaves at Greninja and Crawdaunt, missing the vines, but still hit them, and forced them to the ground. Only this time Greninja and Crawdaunt were too tired and confused to get up.
Chloe then stops fighting Noah, and notices Greninja and Crawdaunt. "Greninja! Crawdaunt! Oh, you're going to pay for that. Oshawott use Slash on Noah." Chloe said to Noah and Oshawott, as she kept shooting at Noah. "Got it." Oshawott said, as he charged at Noah, his shell in hand.
"Stay away! DISARMING VOICE!" Popplio said, as she fired a sonic blast with pink hearts in it at Oshawott, forcing Oshawott back. "Nice work Popplio." Noah said to Popplio, as he fired his top from his Pokemon Ranger Launcher.
"Oshawott dodge that top with Aerial Ace." Chloe said to Oshawott, as she tried to shoot the top, as it circled her and Oshawott. "I think I got the plan." Oshawott said to Chloe before disappearing.
That's when the top made a bubble form around Chloe, trapping her. But that's when Oshawott reappeared and hushed his shell to pop the bubble. "That was a cute trick in Bright Moon. but I won't be trapped that easily." Chleo said to Noah.
"Well there goes that idea. Popplio time for some brute force." Noah said to Popplio, as the top returned to his Pokemon Ranger Launcher. "Okay." Popplio said to Noah. "That goes for you too, Oshawott." Chloe said to Oshawott. "With pleasure." Oshawott said to Chloe.
"Popplio/Oshawott use Aqua Jet." Noah and Chloe said to Popplio and Oshawott, as they traded shots while running around. "Right." Popplio/Oshawott said, as they encased themselves in water and moved at high speed, chasing each other. All the while, Noah and Chloe traded shots again.
The race of Aqua Jet's and trading shot lasted for a couple seconds, before Popplio landed on the top deck of the prison, and turned to Oshawott, who was only a few feet away from her. "Bubble Beam." Popplio said, as she fired a furry of bubbles at Oshawott.
But the bubbles had no effect on Oshawott. "What's the point of this? Trying to slow me down. Too bad it's not working." Oshawott said to Popplio, as Popplio smirked. That's when the last cannon of the base took aim at the bubbles and fired, shooting Oshawott out of the sky in the process.
"No. I figured your cannons would mistake the bubble from enemies and shoot you. Glad it worked and Adora didn't smash them all yet." Popplio said to Oshawott, as she jumped down to the ground floor, and Adora smashed the cannon.
"You… You… You… You cocky little egg. I'm going to crush you!" Oshawott said to Popplio, before glowing light blue. Oshawott then grew a foot, became sleeker, his hand gained three stubby fingers, he gained two whiskers that were in the crooked V shape under his eyes, a spike of fur on his head, and his shell became two, with one on each hip. Then light faded, revealing its fur was all light blue, with white whiskers, black stubbs, flippers, hands, and feet, dark blue fur around his hips and shells.
"I see I've become a Dewott. Now I'm twice the danger." Oshawott, now Dewott said, as he pulled out his shells. That's when water blades popped out of his shells. "And learned Liquidation. Now I can make you pay." Dewott said to Popplio.
"I'm scared of you." Popplio said to Dewott. "These blades aren't for you." Dewott said to Popplio, before rushing Noah, and slashing the back of Noah's right leg. "AH!" Noah said, as he fell down to the ground. "Nice work Dewott." Chloe said to Dewott.
"Tell me egg. Who's smarter now?" Dewott asked Popplio. "DAD! AQUA JE…!" Popplio said, but was interrupted by Dewott. "Uh, uh." Dewott said to Popplio, as he pointed his shells at Noah's neck. "Take one step or fire a bubble and he's dead." Dewott said to Popplio.
"NO. NO. NO. I WON'T LET YOU HURT HIM!" Popplio yelled, before glowing light blue. Popplio then grew a foot, her tail fins became closer together, her ear parched up and had two balls attached to the end, and three frills on her body. Then the light faded, her body was now light blue, with white tips at the end of her tail fins, hand fins and ear, her eyes and nose were the same.
"Popplio. You're a Brionne now!" Noah said to Popplio. "So this is my new form. It's cute." Brionne said to everyone, with a smile on her face. "You too. Doesn't matter. You can't beat me." Dewott said to Brionne.
"I don't need to hurt you to beat you. Sing." Brionne said to Dewott, before singing a gentle song. "Oh no." Dewott said, before passing out and starting to snore.
"Nice work Brionne." Noah said to Brionne, as he stood up, and kicked Dewott away. "What are these new looks anyway?" Brionne asked Noah. "Here." Noah said to Brionne, pulling out his phone.
Brionne. Pop Star Pokemon. Water.
On nights when the sea is calm, Brionne dances with one another to the singing of the Primarina that's leading them.
Dewott. Discipline Pokemon. Water.
Strict training Is how it learns its flowing double-scalchop technique.
"Hey did you forget about me! We're fighting here." Chleo said to Noah, making Noah put his phone away.. "The fight is over." Adora said to Chloe, making Chloe notice everyone standing around her, ready to attack, and her robots and cannon trashed.
"Looks like you won this round. Congratulations. But just you wait. One day we'll turn the tides on you all." Chloe said to everyone, as she put her weapons away, returned Greninja and Crawdaunt to their Pokeballs, and picked up Dewott and held him under her right armpit.
"Save your villain talk for your cell, you coming with us." Glimmer said to Chloe. Chloe said nothing, but smirked, as she used the hand of the arm that was holding Dewott to pick a small flash bang from her pocket and drop it.
This caused a big flash to blind everyone for a few seconds. When everyone could see again, they noticed Chloe and her Pokemon were gone. "She got away. Let's go get her!" Frosta said to everyone. "Forget her. Freeing these Pokemon comes first. For all we know Hrode reinforcement will be coming. We need to free all of these Pokemon now!" Adora said to everyone.
Everyone nodded in agreement, and started to break open the cages freeing all the Pokemon trapped inside.
Meanwhile, Chloe was walking to her skiff. And once she reached it, she stopped and looked around. "Kyle! Nickit! Come out here now!" Chloe yelled out.
Then Chloe heard some rustling, and turned her head to see Kyle and Nickit trying to climb out of one of Chloe's pit traps, with the wooden box in Kyle's left armpit. "What are you doing down in there?" Chloe asked Kyle.
"Well, you told us to hide, and while trying to find a place to hide, we fell into this pit, and we've been trying to climb out of it ever since." Kyle said to Chloe, making Chloe slap a hand into her face.
"I told you to hide and not fall into one of my traps. And you couldn't do that." Chloe said to Kyle. "It's not my fault, you put these traps all over the place." Kyle said to Chloe.
"The trap you fell in was just a hole, no cover, no joke in it, it was just a big open hole that everyone could see. It was the easiest trap to avoid, and you still fell into it." Chloe said to Kyle, as she put Dewott down, waking Dewott up, and grabbed Kyle and Nickit, and helped them out of the hole.
Chloe then sighed. "Are the data coins still in one piece?" Chloe asked Kyle. "Yes, here they are." Kyle said, as he passed Chloe the wooden box. Chloe then took the wooden box and opened it. Chloe then pulled out three data coins.
The first data coin was blue with a water type symbol on one side, and the other side had a TM 022 carved into it.
The second data coin was yellow with an electric type symbol on one side, and the other side had a TM 136 carved into it.
The last data coin was white with a normal type symbol on one side, and the other side had a TM 163 carved into it.
"Glad to see you actually managed to do something right. It might have been early, but my plan was a success." Chloe said to Kyle, as she put the data coins back and put the lid back on the box. "But they destroyed the prison?" Kyle asked Chloe. "Exactly!" Chloe said to Kyle. "I'm sorry but I don't understand." Kyle said to Chloe.
"To put simply, the traps I set up let me know they were coming, giving me time to get the data coins away from the upcoming battle. Then when the Rebellion shows up, I act like we're testing a new kind of prison, and not gathering data on moves. And no matter how the battle gose, by keeping up the act of just trying to keep Pokemon trapped here, I can fool the Rebellion into thinking it was just a prison, and nothing more. Meaning they may have won this battle, but the war is ours." Chloe said to Kyle.
"Still don't understand." Kyle said to Chloe, making Chloe slap a hand into her face. "Just get on that skiff before I leave you and Nickit here." Chloe said to Kyle, as she hopped onto the skiff, and started its engine. Panicking, Kyle and Kickit jumped onto the skiff, as the skiff started to move, heading for the Fright Zone.
