Each of the young recruits were ready in the training area. It was a large hall. But it was empty. No props, no devices, just a big empty overwhelming space. But then a light flickers and travels across the room, creating a holographic environment. Pillars and props formed form the floor, and they couldn't even tell it could do that as there were not any outlines. The interior shifted to a setting, what appeared to be an evil base. "Holo-tech." Cyborg said over the communications. He and the other alumni Titans were in the control room. "It can also create solid holograms for enemies and obstacles in your path."

"You are to fight through the obstacles we are putting up. Like I said, it is not the goal to win, it is to assess your abilities. I still advise to give it your all." Nightwing said.

"Also while they are holographic, and programmed to not cause lasting harm, they still will put up a fight." Changeling added. "And we tested them and we can assure you they pack a punch."

"On to glorious combat, young warriors!" Starfire added.

"You make it sound like they are going to fight in the coliseum against gladiators." Raven muttered.

"That is what constitutes training for my people." Starfire said.

"Ok, is everyone ready?" Changeling asked the recruits. "Because if not, too bad. Because there is no going back and you have to ride out the storm."

"Deploying holo-enemies now!" Cyborg said.

Several figures of various sizes and shape were brought into existence on the holo-platform. They were colored in yellow and black and blank faces with the Titans symbol adorning it. They charged at the recruits, whom quickly had to push down their insecurities as the test had begun.

Superboy started out by closing the gaps between some enemies. He didn't have all of a Kryptonian's powers unlocked, but he was stilly pretty fast, durable and strong. He rushed in and punched several of the holo-enemies real hard, whom shattered and vanished in a cloud of pixels as he did. This was going well, with his greater speed and power he was knocking the enemies around like ragdolls. He jumped up and then slammed his fists into the ground, creating a shockwave that knocked a whole bunch of the enemies in the air, as they shattered.

'So far so good' he thought. But it was only the first wave of enemies. He looked around to see what the others were doing.

Miss Martian was apparently having the time of her life. She had coiled up in a vaguely serpentine flying form and swirled through the air, knocking into enemies before reassuming her humanoid form. She enlarged her arms and started punching several enemies around rapidly, knocking them apart. As more enemies started to warms, she grew more arms to swing around, before she just transformed into a huge tentacled creature and spun around like a top, knocking all enemies off her with the tentacles.

Robin (Tim Drake) just grabbed a few Batarangs and threw them at the holo-enemies, which embedded in their bodies and blew up. Then he grabbed something from his belt which extended into a bo staff. He started to swing it around to beat the enemies of him, even doing the famous maneuver in which he planted the bo staff into the ground and spun around to knock a circle of enemies around him down.

Aqualad (Kaldur'ahm) took out his waterbearers and started swinging them around in blade forms, cutting through the holo-enemies. He then turned them into tendrils and used them to grab a few of them, and knock them into others.

Kid Flash (Bart Allen) was running around as a yellow and red streak, and whenever he passed a holo-enemy, they'd immediately shatter as he dealt with them quickly. Another bolt, more yellow and little less red joined him. It was Bolt, the girl speedster with the mechanical legs. "How are you doing rookie?" Kid Flash asked.

"Rookie? Aren't you a young hero as well?" she asked as she struck several holo-enemies at super-speed as she was running along.

"I had my powers a longer while then you. You were caught in that Speed Force Storm a few months back…you are doing well despite it having been only a while." He noted.

"I used to be a track star. I don't let anything slow me down." Bolt replied.

"Good." Kid Flash smiled. "Let me show you a trick. A bit more of an advanced technique…" he started to spark harder and bigger bolts of lightning came off him. He then grabbed this electrical energy and threw it like a spear at some holo-enemies, whom all sparked and shattered instantly.

"Cool." Bolt noted. "How do I do that?"

"The simple version is…Imagine more energy building up inside you and shoot it out. Not so simple version…requires some trial and error." Kid Flash noted.

"My coach used to say, fall down ten times, get up eleven times!" Bolt said as she built up electric energy too. However, she couldn't discharge it properly and it blew up in her face and she tripped as it backfired upon herself. She was a bit dazed. But her new legs were still intact. Luckily Cyborg knew what he did when making her prosthetics. However, a few enemies caught up, one of the hard light constructs pouncing at her. She instinctively held her legs up and kicked him off, as he sparked with electricity. Once he was knocked into two others, the three sparked with electric energy and shattered. "Oh?"

"Now, that's new. A lightning kick. Didn't get the hang of a lightning shot, but you accidentally discover something new." Kid Flash said as he helped Bolt up. "Just keep practicing kid, and you'll…well, not catch up to me but you won't get lapped as badly."

"Just you wait, I will catch up and lap you!" Bolt said. It was her competitive athlete mentality speaking, but she liked the banter. The two sped off, again, but in different directions.

The more humanoid enemies vanished, and new enemies took their place. The majority of thme were slightly larger and edgier with spikier edges and claws, while there were smaller ones that had long tails and different digits, making them both imp and monkey like. The smaller ones start to gather around Superboy. "I hate monkeys." He said as they crawled all over him. They were not stronger, but more agile and harder to grab and hit them. He pulled off a few and then dropped on his back on purpose to crush the ones still there. One of the larger holo-enemies came and grabbed at him. Superboy locked hands in a power struggle. Then he kicked it in the chest and pulled back, tearing its arms off and the enemy vanished in a cloud of pixels.

Miss Martian held out her arms in front of her as they grew armored plating as one of the larger enemies lashed at her. She took the blows without harm but the tinier monkey enemies start to swarm. She shifted her form so spikes grew out of her skin and impaled and deleted the holo-enemies. But the bigger enemy used that as an opening to charge into her, but Miss Martian's eyes glowed and a psychic wave knocked the enemy off her and deleted him. More of the monkey enemies started to crawl over her but she let another psychic wave to shatter them. Then she started stretching out her arm and rapidly firing psychic blasts around her, shattering more of the hard light constructs. But shen she got onto her knees and panted.

"You ok?" Superboy asked.

"I overdid it with my psychic blasts. Need a moment recover…" Miss Martian said. Suddenly in a flash of pixels, a couple of larger enemies appear. They were huge, bulky, muscular bruisers. One of them loomed over her. "Oh dear…" The huge behemoth raised its arms and was ready to slam them into her.

Superboy moved quick, in front of her and caught the arms. Using his superstrength he held the bruiser back, but it was harder then it looked. His arms weren't free as he tried to push the lug back. "If I could use my heat vision I could have vaporized him." He thought. Maybe he still could. He was in a stalemate with the larger foe…He had to do something. He cursed himself for not having a full Kryptonian's power and his anger boiled over. He gritted his teeth and when his emotions reached its apex, suddenly a wave came from Superboy and blasted the behemoth back. "That wasn't heat vision."

"Oh, you seem to have sort of a psychic power too…" Megan said excitedly. "You ok, for first timers it can cause migraines."

"My head hurts a bit…but I'll live." Superboy said. "How about you?"

Megan's arms stretched and her fists enlarged. "I think I have to avoid brainblasts and heavy shapeshifting. But I can still pack a wallop. Let's punch the next one together."

Superboy smiled softly. The behemoth enemy stood up again. The two jumped up and pulled back their fists. While not the physical power of an adult Kryptonian and martian, when both of their punches hit, the behemoth started to crack. It spread across its body before it shattered and was deleted. But then two more came in.

Though this time the behemoths were hit by something that exploded in their faces and staggered. Robin and a girl in red with a hood, bow and arrow came in. "Room for two more?" Robin asked.

"Hi, I'm Speedy, nice meeting you." The girl said. Speedy, aka Mia Daerden. "Green Arrow's current protegee, master archer, which means I'm always…" she took out another arrow and spun it around between her fingers before aiming again. "On point." She didn't get a reaction. "On point? Because arrows? Never mind…"

The behemoths regained their footing, but then Aqualad, surfing on a small wave of water he controlled rushed by, in between them and slashing a their legs, making the two drop on one knee. A red and yellow streak flew in and bounced between the two like a ping-pong ball, knocking them down before it landed and showed itself as Kid Flash. "Am I late for the party?"

"Nice entrance. How about we all give them the final blow?" Robin suggested. "Maneuver Cerulean-Virmillion-Cianwood!"

"Huh?" Superboy and Miss Martian asked.

"It means you move last." Aqualad explain. "But I move first!" Aqualad swung his water bearers, which created a small flood that reached the Behemoths. It only got them wet, but that was the purpose.

Robin threw an electrified Batarang, Speedy shot an electrified arrow. Finally Kid Flash shot a lightning bolt. The three electrified projectiles hit the behemoths, whom jerked due to the shock to their system. "Your move!" Speedy noted.

Superboy jumped up, head forward as he headbutts the behemoth, while Miss Martian turned into a round spiky green ball that rammed into the second, and the two Behemoths shattered as well. Miss Martian landed but staggered and would nearly fall until Superboy caught her. "You got strong arms…" Miss Martian said.

"Thanks, I was born with them." Superboy said. Oh, that sounded weird and awkward. He sucked at small talk.

"My shipping senses are tingling." Speedy whispered as stars appeared in her eyes.

Ravager pulled out her sword and started to slice her opponents into pieces, before they deleted. The first few humanoid enemies weren't much of a problem. Then the larger edgier enemies appeared and clawed at her. She gained brief flashes of how the creatures were going to attack her. She sidestepped and leaned out of the ways of the attacks easy enough before she diced those types of enemies too.

Then she got nearly hit by a lightning bolt. She saw Livewire flying around, blasting lightning at the holo-enemies. "Careful where you are aiming!" Ravager shouted.

"Oops, my bad, still getting used to caring about whether my bolts actually hit people." Livewire shouted back.

She turned around as she heard a squeal as Smoke, in her white smoke form, flew away from an enemy. "Don't worry, I'll save you!" Tooby said as he jumped in. "Tube powers, activate!" Then he turned into his tube form. Everyone around stared at him. Even the holo-enemies stopped in their tracks.

"Yeah, that is a…weird power." Ravager noted.

"It's utterly useless." Livewire said.

"Why did we even let the kid in?" Raven asked as she and Changeling observed the fight from the control room."

"I wanted to know if it was one of those powers that seems stupid at first but then they find their niche for it and make it work out." Changeling explained. He paused for a few moments. "I also thought it'd be funny."

Raven opened her mouth, stopped herself from saying anything, looked ponderous for a few moments and muttered: "Yeah I admit it is indeed funny."

Back with the recruits, Smoke used the distraction to have her hands become solid and punch one of the enemies. It staggered back but regained footing. Smoke eeped again as the enemy turned to her again. However, Livewire zapped him and deleted him. She moved next to Smoke. "You ok? I thought you said you had it."

"I'm not sure I can. I thought I'd be up for this. But I felt a bit scared. And all I can do is turn into smoke, so they don't hit me. I don't have the means to properly fight back." Smoke said.

"You don't need all that, I didn't need that to bust some heads before I became all lightning-y. I was in plenty of street brawls. You just get mad, unleash everything and don't be afraid to fight dirty!" Livewire said. "Watch!" she said as another enemy approaches, but she sidestepped him. She kicked it in the back of the knee, making it topple over, then she rammed her knee into its face, cracking it, and deleted it. "See? Now all you have to do is get mad and hurt them where you can."

"I'm not sure if I can get that mad." Smoke said as she combed her hair back over her left eye with her fingers.

"Sure you can. Imagine that each of these people did something you can't forgive, that they are the biggest shitheads you know." Livewire said.

"Like what?" Smoke asked.

"I dunno…" Livewire said. "Guys whom kick puppies or something?"

"Puppies? But puppies are cute, whom would kick them?" Smoke looked horrified. "How could they?" she tried to look angry, but her pouty face looked cute.

"These guys!" Livewire said as she pointed at some enemies. "They are some of the most vile puppy kickers. Make them pay!"

"You meanies!" Smoke turned into…well, smoke and charged at the enemies, and they were tackled down as she started to tear them apart.

Livewire looked surprise, especially at how ferocious Smoke was being. Then she smiled. "Knew she had it in her." Livewire said. However, it had also distracted her as Livewire was flung across the room and she got a real headache. She groaned as she looked up and it was another of those behemoth enemies. "Oh crud!"

However, before the Behemoth could squash her, it was tackled down by something flying into it, knocking it on its back. A girl landed with a black sleeveless shirt with Wonder Woman's symbol, long jeans, muscular arms and blonde hair. "You ok, Sparky?" she helped Livewire get up.

"The name is Livewire."

"Yeah, I think I'll keep calling you Sparky!"

"If you do that I'll flash-fry you." Livewire snarked.

"Daughter of Zeus, that'll do nothing to me." The girl said.

"Yeah, and I'm the pope's daughter." Livewired snarked.

"You're fun. Wonder Girl." The girl introduced herself. "Apprentice of Wonder Woman." She grabbed a golden rope out of nowhere, and it wrapped around Tooby's tube form. "And this is my own Lasso of Truth!" she swung the rope with Tooby around, slammed it into the behemoth, cracking its face. Livewire charged up a bolt of electricity and fired it at the crack in the behemoth's face, and shattered him. "Kill-stealer." Wonder Girl said.

"That's for calling me Sparky." Livewire said. A few new Behemoths appeared in front of them. "Oh, come on!"

One of the behemoths tried to throw a punch…But suddenly a portal opened, and the fist went through. Another portal opened in front of its face and its own fist came out to hit him. The Behemoth stumbled as he wondered what was going on. "Hi!" a young man in grayish blue uniform with neon green highlights said as he appeared. "Sideways."

"What?" Wonder Girl asked.

"Sideways, that's my name. I'm just your friendly neighborhood portal spammer." The boy said. "Care to share your name?"

"Wonder Girl. Thought the Wonder Woman emblem on my chest would be a hint." Wonder Girl said.

"Trying not to watch at the chest, it'd be rude." Sideways said, and he sounded flustered.

"Oh, you're a prude." Livewire sighed.

"I think its sweet." Wonder Girl said. "Neat portal trick by the way."

"Can only do two at once. One that goes in, the other that goes out." Sideways explained. The behemoth got up again and tried to punch them again. However, Sideways repeated his earlier trick to have the portal redirect its punch to itself. However, the second Behemoth moved in. Sideways opened a portal, but it was underneath the them, and he, Wonder Girl, Livewire and Tooby's Tube form fell in. The portal spat them out, on top of Ravager.

"Agh, get off me!" Ravager said.

"Sorry, I panicked and overshot with that last portal." Sideways said. "We were dealing with the big guys."

"What big guys?" Ravager asked. The Behemoths were now advancing on them again. "Oh, those big guys."

The head of a smaller enemy rolled at their feet and turned into pixels. They turned around to see Smoke surrounded by a punch of enemies, whom were fading away in a flash of pixels too. "Take that you puppy-kicking motherf***ers!" she shouted.

"I am so proud." Livewire said.

"Er…those guys?" Sideways said as he drew attention to the behemoths.

"Eep!" Smoke had lost her confidence now she saw the gigantic enemies.

The first behemoth brought his fist down and tried to crush them, but Sideways repeated his portal trick. The fist goes in, it comes out another portal and punched him in the face. Unfortunately like Sideways said, he could only create two portals. Which means when one Behemoth was distracted, the other moved in. He threw his fist but Wonder Girl punched it back, the two bouncing off each other, knocked back and shaking their wrists.

"Take that!" Livewire blasted the behemoths, causing them to stagger back.

Ravager came in with her swords, shouting at the top of her lungs as she severed the left arm of one of the first behemoth. The second behemoth's arm was caught into the portal, but Sideways closed it this time, severing the arm. "Whoa…I didn't know my portals could do that. On the other hand, I normally don't intend to slice people in half with my portals."

The Behemoths let out a roar, before they merged into a bigger Behemoth, with two heads. While they only had an arm each, in their fused form they had two arms again. "This is getting ridiculous." Livewire said.

"I don't think I can create a portal big enough to envelop his limbs." Sideways said.

"Guess we will have to resort to old fashioned 'hit them until they're down." Wonder Girl said as she cracked her knuckles.

"Finally something we agree on." Livewire said as her hands spark.

Smoke was on the side. "Ok Smoke…you can do this. Imagine they are the biggest meanies…" Smoke took a deep breath. "Puppy kicker!" she said as she shot at the head of the Behemoth, her arm becoming solid as she punched the behemoth's left head. But the Behemoth didn't flinch. "Oh dear!" The right head turned towards her and the right arm pulled back and swung its fist at Smoke, whom flew out of the way…and the Behemoth hit its left head. The left head actually felt that and turned angrily for the right head. And the left head controlled the left arm to punch the right head. And soon the heads and their parts of the body started fighting each other.

"Whoa…well done Mist girl!" Sideways said impressed.

"I didn't mean to…" Smoke said.

"Take the compliment, kid." Livewire assured her.

"Now they're distracted!" Ravager said as she readied her blades.

"Ok…now, my portals aren't big enough for him but…" Sideways said as he opened a portal and Tooby's tube form fell through. On top of the left head of the behemoth. Another portal opened and the tube fell through again, and landed on the right head. Then the portal opened at its feet as it staggered, the tube put right under it. Then the Behemoth started to fall back.

Ravager rushed forward, slid on her knees and put her blades upwards, impaling the left behemoth head. The head vanished in a burst of pixels. The right head was still alive, but it shrank down into a one armed giant again like before the merge with the other. Then the behemoth was wrapped up in Wonder Girl's lasso. Both Livewire and Wonder Girl held it. "Let's give him a double shocker. Zeus' lightning!" Both of them channeled electric power, through the lasso and into the behemoth, whom exploded in a burst of pixels. "Oh yeah! How did you like that godly lightning?" Wonder Girl said.

"That felt good, I think I came!" Livewire said.

Tooby then decided to turn back to normal. He hasn't been aware but he just noticed the enemies that tried attacking him earlier were gone. He smiled, but his hands on his hips and said. "Man, I'm good!" The others facepalmed.

Brion Markov found that it is very therapeutic to punch things. He was aware of his fair share of issues he had. Better to vent against non-living solid holograms. He formed an earthy armor around himself, including two large rock gauntlets and started to cave the faces of the holo-enemies in. He then stomped the ground, a line of earth spikes erupted from the floor and went on their way to another group of the Holo-enemies, ending up impaled or sent flying.

Forager curled up in a ball and started to bowl over some of the enemies too. Once he done that, he uncurled and grabbed a few pods form his outfit, which he threw at the holo-enemies, which burst open and covered them in an acidic substance, which corroded and deleted them.

Halo was flying around, firing orange energy beams at the enemies. They were concussive in nature, but they were strong enough to send the enemies flying. Several of the larger edgy enemies jumped them but Halo glowed green, as did the enemies, as they were stuck in the air. Then they moved their arms to fling them into each other and into the walls. Once those enemies were dealt with, they looked into the crowd.

They saw one of the recruits, struggling. At first glance it was a humanoid lizard. Due to the fact she showed mammary glands despite her reptilian nature, Halo found it easier to guess her gender. She was covered in brown and yellow scales and was spiky, like a sungazer lizard or thorny devil. She staggered back to avoid the swipe of the spikier foes, then had to turn around and struck one of the enemies with her tail by accident. "Sorry! Oh wait, I have to fight you." Then more ganged up on her. She let out an 'eep' as she ran for it, right up a wall. Had some adhesive pads on her hands and feet to climb it seems.

She looked down, hoping the enemies wouldn't follow. But the spiky clawed ones started crawling up the wall. It kind of startled the lizard girl as she lost her grip and as she fell down, instinctively curled up in a ball…smashing through the enemies, then roll across the floor and bowl over some of the other enemies. She then uncurled and landed on the floor hard. She was dazed for a bit as she got up and gulped as more enemies approached.

But then something red rolled into some enemies while more yellow blasts destroyed a few more. Forager and Halo had cleared them and approached the girl.

"Are you all right?" Halo asked. The lizard girl nodded. "What is your name?" the lizard girl murmured a bit. "Pardon?"

"Joni…" the lizard girl as she shyly turned her head away.

"Forager is delighted to meet you, Joni. Forager is Forager, and we are going to become part of the same hive." Joni smiled and gave a nod briefly but turned her head away.

"We are all new here, let us fight beside you." Halo asked.

"A hive is stronger when all the drones do their part sustaining the hive." Forager noted. Joni nodded in agreement. They were ready to confront the next batch of heroes. "Joni showed a great rolling move earlier. Forager also knows. Forager will give you some advice: be the ball! Forager and Joni cannot see when rolling, but if Joni tuned out everything, then Joni can roll the ball on instinct."

"Oh, er…Ok." Joni said softly. Then she yelped as she felt something grab her tail. An enemy had snuck up on them. However, Joni ran for it, and her tail tore off…and the holo-enemy was looking at the severed appendage weirdly before it twitched in his hand like an oversized snake and smacked him in the face.

"That's embarrassing." Joni said blushing.

"A bit gross…But it's cool." Halo said. Her hands glowed orange as more of the minions came in, ready to pounce on the trio.

Then a new figure jumped in, weaving rapidly between them, and clawing and tearing at them. The figure moved quickly, unnaturally, but it was not like the flash. It was like a shadow. One of the minions even got bitten in the neck by the figure, and its throat torn out as it shattered. It then turned into a black vapor and to move behind another enemy and rip their heads off from behind. Finally, when one of the edgier foes tried to get back at her but she just held out her hand and a psychic wave blew it back.

Now they got a closer look at her and…she was hot. She had blood red hair and eyes, with black sclarae. Her outfit was also black with a crop top with an eyes symbol, sleeveless jacket, black jeans and boots, all with blood red accents. She was pale and had fangs. There was something really alluring about her. Then she ruined it by opening her mouth. "Can I hev that tail? It's still full of meat juices." She spoke in a thick Scottish accent.

"Is that a custom on this planet Forager isn't aware of?" Forager asked.

"Nah, I'm a vampire. I have cravings." The vampire girl said as she picked up the tail, bit into it and sucked out the juices. "So…sorry aboot that."

"It's ok." Joni said as she put her thumb in her mouth and blew, and a new tail sported from her backside. "I heal good. Also, I know what it's like because ever since meeting Forager I feel like eating him too."

"Joni says what?" Forager asked.

"Not that I will do it. Just…lizard instincts." Joni put her fingertips together.

"Er…" Halo wanted to break the awkwardness or weirdness of the situation. "I'm Halo. This is Forager."

"And I'm Joni…as you can see I'm a lizard." Joni said softly before burying her face in her hands. "What am I saying, I sound silly."

"Well nice to meet ya all! I'm Looker." She said as she suckled on more of the discarded tail. No one knew how to react to that, as they all looked confused. "So, want to trash more of these ninnies together?"

"Sure…" Halo said. That's all they could say. "Though promise to not drink our blood?"

"I won't unless its freely given." Looke assured her. Though that did not put the rest at ease for some reason.

Brion, aka Geo-Force continued fighting a group of enemies with his earth powers. He had been chunking bits of earth around to crush them. "Ha! You are no match for a royal of Markovia. Is that all you got?" he asked. Then he got hit by something big and sent flying. He looked up to see a behemoth. "Me and my big mouth."

The giant raised his arms to crush, Geo-Force formed an earthly dome above him. He felt the arms impact it, being hammered upon. He was on the defensive. He didn't like being cornered like this. He saw cracks forming in his rock dome shield…But then the behemoth stopped. He then heard some garbled electronical sound that felt like a scream. He lowered his rocky shield and looked up and see the behemoth had a scythe buried in its face. The owner pulled it out.

The scythe wielder floated to ground level to meet Geo-Force. She was female as the soft features of her face would show. She had a hood up, obscuring the upper part of her face. She had white hair of which side bangs were visible from under the hood. She was pale and her outfit, which was a sand-colored cloak, combined with her scythe made her look Reaper-like. "Er…thanks for the save. What is your name?" Geo-Force asked.

"Secret." She whispered. There was something ethereal about it.

"Does that mean its your codename or you can't tell?" Geo-Force asked.

"Secret." She repeated.

"You already told me that. It doesn't answer my question." Geo Force said.

"Secret."

"Can you say something else but 'secret'?"

"Secret."

"Never mind, I'll just call you 'Secret' then." Geo-Force said. "Just Grim Reap the bastard!" he said as he pointed at the behemoth.

"Secret!" the girl said as she nodded and flew up. Her scythe glowed green and she slashes the air. A green energy wave…at least it looked like energy, but it also looked like something slimy, and it hit the behemoth dead on. It staggered back. Then Secret appeared to have vanished. But then slash marks appeared on the Behemoth as it struggled, and when Secret became visible again, it was clear she turned invisible too.

Geo-Force then focused, gathering the earthly materials above him again, but this time they heated up and melty, like magma. Then he shot the lava glob at the behemoth, which hit him dead on, and he vanished in a flash of pixels. "Oof. Good teamwork." Geo-Force bent over and rested with his hands on his knees to catch his breath. Lava control was a more advanced and very draining trick.

"Secret."

"Yeah, I get it. That's your thing." The young prince said. In a flash of pixels another behemoth appeared. "Oh sh-"

However, the behemoth was then pelted by orange energy beams, and from the temperature shift he felt, Geo-Force knew they were heat beams. Halo had come flying in, with Forager, Lizard Joni and Looker behind her. "Hi, Brion! I made a few new friends. Oh, and I see you did too."

"Secret!"

"Oh, is that your codename or…" Halo asked.

"I already asked her but she only keeps saying that." Geo-Force replied. "By the way, I'm Geo-Force." He greeted to the newbies.

"Lizard Joni." The lizard girl said softly.

"Looker." The vampire girl replied. "Though yer quite one yerself."

"Er…" Geo-Force was a bit taken aback and Halo shot an annoyed look at the vampire girl. "Let's deal with the big guy." Geo-Force said. The behemoth has regained his footing and focuses on the heroes.

"With me!" Halo glowed green again and lifted the teammates off the ground that couldn't fly. Geo-Force floated on a rock platform, while Secret could float and Looker spawned vampire wings. Then they shot towards the Behemoth.

Forager and Lizard Joni curled up in a ball and were propelled forward by Halo like cannonballs. She engulfed herself in orange light and shot forward too. Geo Force created a rocky drill around himself and shot forward. Secret pulled out her scythe and Looker was engulfed in a blood red aura shaped like a giant vampire bat. They shot right through the Behemoth, whom now had six holes in his body…and then he vanished in pixels.

"Well done, team." Secret said.

"We all did well, including y-" Geo-Force said as a penny dropped and he turned to Secret again. "Wait, you talked? You were able to say anything else but the word 'secret' all along? Then why with the mystery?"

Secret raised her head, her gray eyes becoming visible, as they shone with mischief. She smirked a bit as she put a finger to her lips. "Secret." She whispered softly. Looker busted out in laughter as Geo-Force pouted.

Anyhow, it took me a while to write a chapter that was satisfactory, as I tried to figure out on how I would go about the different students/recruits.

The chapter took longer, so it will be split up with the second part being written next week. Hopefully.

I hoped the action scenes were nice, and I establish the characters as skilled but clearly still having a lot to learn. But still capable.

Anyhow, for the new recrutis...

Yes, Mia Daerden/Speedy, as I wanted an archer. While last chapter I had Ravager as the Artemis standin I introduced an actual archer now. Ravager still appears of course, no problem.

Also Wonder Girl, Cassie Sandsmark. Can't believe I forgot her last chapter.

I continue to have fun with someone as silly as Tooby. Also about Livewire and Smoke people wonder if I am being shippy with them. I just answer with another question: what do you think? XD

Sideways is a fairly new DC character, whom can basically be described as a hispanic Spiderman if he spawns portals instead of webs.

And Geo-Force, halo and Forager meet a trio of whom at one point were also Outsiders in the comics.

Ok, Secret wasn't, she was young justice, but I had an idea for her reimagining. Now she is closer to the comics in that she is a ghost that can actually fight and affect the physicla world while the cartoon was a one episode character whom didn't get to do much. I also gave her a scythe and besides her comic book powers she can project ectoplasmic energy in ranged attacks.

Looker is a vampire like the comics, but I gave her a scottish accent like the Young Justice cartoon. Why? I like the sound of Scottish accents.

Finally LIzard Joni. She is a genderbent version of Lizard Johnny whcih was a very minor comic book character and made a brief appearance in the young justice cartoon. But instead fo a standard green lizard, I went with a spikier brownish lizard...and yes, this version is based on the new sonic character Trip the sungazer. So she is both genderbent, composite and expy. scratch those of the Tvtropes Bingo chart.

Next chapter, the remaining students and their new teams show their skills off and the school year can officially begin, and I'll finally be able to get into some character arcs.
