Kalos Power Plant (Part One)
The group are walking down the entryway tunnel to the Kalos Power Plant where they hope to restore the power so the gate between the Lumiose Badlands and Lumiose City will be operational again and the group can get to Lumiose City where they intend to challenge the Lumiose City Gym.
As Kevin, Rolf, Jonny, and Nazz walk down the tunnel, Kevin turns and sees Sina and Dexio far behind them.
"What's wrong? Can't you keep up?" asked Kevin. The others turn and looked at Sina and Dexio.
"You see, we're not trainers, and we don't have Pokemon with us." said Sina.
"Exactly; if we run into more from Team Flare, we'd be in trouble." said Dexio.
"Fear not; Rolf will watch over you like a mother Pidgeotto watches over her nest?" said Rolf.
"Thanks." said Dexio. The group continued walking up the tunnel until they entered another room.
"Hey!" someone yelled. The group sees a Team Flare member approaching them. "Who are you?! Only authorized personnel are allowed in here!"
"Dude; something tells me you're not 'authorized personnel'." said Nazz. The Team Flare member pulls out a pokeball and tosses it, releasing a yellow and cream colored, bipedal, lizard-like Pokemon. Kevin takes out the pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Scraggy, the Shedding Pokemon. Proud of its sturdy skull, it suddenly headbutts everything, but its weight makes it unstable, too." said the pokedex.
"You kids get out of here!" said the Team Flare member. Nazz steps forward and pulls out a pokeball.
"If you guys are the reason the power is out and is keeping us from our next gym battle, then I'm going to have to say no way, dude." said Nazz. "Farfetch'd, go!" She tosses Farfetch'd's pokeball and releases him.
"Fine; if that's the way you want it!" said the Team Flare member.
"It is. Farfetch'd, use Aerial Ace!" said Nazz. Farfetch'd flies at Scraggy with white streaks of light and rams Scraggy, dealing super effective damage.
"Scraggy, Headbutt!" said the Team Flare member. Scraggy charges at Farfetch'd and rams his head into Farfetch'd's, making him flinch. "Now, Scraggy, Brick Break!" Scraggy jumps at Farfetch'd and karate chops him.
"Farfetch'd, Air Cutter!" said Nazz. Farfetch'd flaps his wings and releases blue blades of energy from them and they hit Scraggy, dealing super effective damage and knocking it out. "Way to go." Farfetch'd nods. The Team Flare member returns Scraggy to its pokeball and puts it in his pocket, then he pulls out another one.
"Go, Croagunk!" said the Team Flare member, tossing the pokeball and releasing a Croagunk. "Use Pursuit!" Croagunk leaps at Farfetch'd and rams him, knocking him back.
"Farfetch'd, Air Cutter!" said Nazz. Farfetch'd releases more blue blades that hit Croagunk, dealing super effective damage to it.
"Croagunk, Revenge!" said the Team Flare member. Croagunk becomes surrounded by orange energy and releases a beam of it from its body and it hits Farfetch'd, knocking him to the ground. Farfetch'd struggles to get up.
"You can do it, Farfetch'd; use Slash!" said Nazz. Farfetch'd jumps at Croagunk and slashes its torso with his leek, knocking Croagunk to the ground with swirly eyes. "I knew you can do it, Farfetch'd." The Team Flare returns Croagunk to its pokeball.
"Good job, Nazz." said Kevin.
"Thanks, Kevin." said Nazz.
"You brats haven't seen the last of me!" said the Team Flare member.
"I was hoping we would." replied Kevin. The Team Flare member tosses pokedollars at Nazz and runs away. After picking up the pokedollars, Nazz returns Farfetch'd to his pokeball and the group continue walking across the power plant until they reached another room. Inside were people working on computers.
"What's this? These people don't look like they work for Team Flare." said Jonny.
"We don't." replied a woman. "Team Flare came here to steal the electricity we send to Lumiose City."
"Don't you guys have security guards here to stop them?" asked Jonny.
"No; we don't even have Pokemon to battle them with." said another employee.
"We'll take care of those Team Flare ruffians!" said Rolf.
"But you're just kids." said another employee.
"Would it help if we pointed out we were taught how to battle by the Eds?" asked Kevin.
"You mean the top trainers of the Lily of the Valley Conference over a month ago?!" asked another employee.
"Yeah." said Jonny. "And we've already defeated four gym leaders, so I'm sure we can take those Team Flare guys."
"Let's go, everyone!" said Kevin. As they turned to leave, Nazz sees a yellow, rectangular plate on the floor near a cubicle.
"Hey, what's this?" asked Nazz, picking the plate up.
"Oh, that's a Zap Plate." said an employee. "Any Pokemon that holds it gets its electric attacks powered up."
"Awesome!" said Nazz. She pulls a pokeball out of her pocket and tosses it, releasing her Dedenne. "Here you go, Dedenne." She gives Dedenne the Zap Plate. After that, she returns Dedenne to her pokeball, then the four leave the room and start heading for the generator room. As they get close to the door leading into it, they see a female Team Flare member guarding it.
"What are you kids doing here?" asked the Team Flare member.
"We're stopping you guys; that's what." said Kevin.
"I'd like to see you brats try." said the Team Flare member as she takes a pokeball out of her pocket and tosses it, releasing a Croagunk.
"So would I." said Kevin as he takes out a pokeball and tosses it, releasing his Vivillon.
"Croagunk, use Pursuit!" said the Team Flare member. The Croagunk charges at Vivillon and strikes her.
"Vivillon, use Psybeam!" said Kevin. Vivillon releases a beam of psychic energy from her body, hitting the Croagunk, and doing lots of super effective damage.
"Croagunk, use Poison Sting!" said the Team Flare member. Croagunk releases a barrage of poison-tipped needles from its mouth.
"Vivillon, use Protect!" said Kevin. A green barrier forms around Vivillon, deflecting all the needles. "Now use Gust!" Vivillon flaps her wings, sending a strong gust of wind at Croagunk, hitting it, and knocking it out.
"NOO!" shouts the Team Flare member.
"Way to go, Kevin!" said Nazz. The Team Flare member growls as she returns her Croagunk to its pokeball and pulls out another one. She tosses it, releasing a Golbat. Seeing that Vivillon would be at a disadvantage, Kevin returns her to her pokeball.
"What will you do now, kid?" asked the Team Flare member.
"Beat you, that's what." said Kevin as he takes out another pokeball and tosses it, releasing his Golett.
"Golbat, use Bite!" said the Team Flare member. The Golbat flies at Golett with its fangs bared.
"Hurry and use Rollout, Golett!" said Kevin. Golett tucks itself into a ball and rolls at Golbat, colliding with it, and knocking each other back, as well as doing super effective damage to each other. While the Golbat was dazed, Golett comes back around and strikes it with double the force as it did before.
"Use Astonish!" said the Team Flare member. The Golbat turns around, then turns back around quickly, surprising Golett, making it go off balance and fall over, doing super effective damage, and making it flinch.
"Don't back down, Golett!" said Kevin. "Use Mega Punch!" Golett jumps at the Golbat, rears its fist back, and drives it into the Golbat's face, sending it flying into a wall where it loses consciousness.
"You did it, Kevin!" said Jonny.
"That was my last Pokemon!" said the Team Flare member as she returns her Golbat to its pokeball.
"Looks like I win." said Kevin.
"Don't think you won yet, kid!" said the Team Flare member as she tosses Kevin pokedollars and runs off into the generator room. Kevin's friends run over to him.
"Great job, dude." said Nazz.
"Rolf is pleased that Kevin won." said Rolf. Just then, a notification appears on their pokedex, making them look at it.
"Hey, Kevin; this says that Golett just learned Dynamic Punch!" said Jonny.
"Sounds strong." said Kevin. He then returns Golett to its pokeball, then they all look towards the door to the generator room.
"So are we going in?" asked Nazz.
"Yeah, we can't let those Team Flare dorks steal power from Lumiose City." said Kevin.
"Yeah, the city needs it, especially if we want to have our next gym battles." said Jonny.
"Rolf will help stop these Team Flare ruffians!" said Rolf.
"Then let's do this!" said Kevin. With that, the four rush into the generator room.
