Chapter 2: Order Of Leadership

Season 1 Episode 2: Order Of Leadership

Earth 5: Sherman

Ultra Tower-7:45 P.M.

The Ultra Legion decided to send out a small team to clean up the mess and to call in case there was any trouble that proved to be too much for them because there wasn't a mission present at the time. Most of the Ultra Legion were having fun at their headquarters. Recently, a silent alarm went off in a bank. Adrien, Marinette, Star, Marco, Jake, Sashi,, Boone, Steven, June, and Rex,were currently watching a television show about a group of friends who lived in New York City and had to balance relationships, finding work, and navigating daily life. "Is it me or did it seem that adults had it way worse than teenagers?" Boone inquired.

June questioned, "What are you talking about, Boone?"

"Well look at Roth, who is he and Raquel continue to insist on breaking up and making up episode after episode as if the one thing that'll definitely resolve their problems would be some baby or something."

Jenny chipped in, "I personally think that was his own responsibility. "He definitely should have cheated on her, even if the two were on a break."

"Should you seriously blame him, though? That Sandra chick seemed all over him and was downright foxy." Rex made the point.

Rex laughed, "I think we are all agreeing that Fiona wasn't right on the head."

Jake chuckled. "Right? I have no idea how Jerry, Charlie, Miranda, Roth, and Raquel can put up with her."

Star defended, saying, "I think she's really misunderstood."

"Jerry could maybe try to be a bit more responsible rather than go after every single new girl that comes through the door." Marco said.

"I know, right?" replied Marinette. "He'll never succeed in his performing dream unless he just randomly chases girls whom he'll eventually find himself dumping."

Adrien grinned, "That's why I've only got eyes for you."

Turning to Tikki, Plagg. "So I'm all for Roth and Raquel, you?"

The ladybug kwami said, "Sorry pal, but I'm more Jerry and Raquel."

Ben, Danny, Aang, Ilana, Octus, Zak, and Max entered through the main door after a training session in the training room. Impressed, Aang said, "Man, I really thought I had you for a minute, Ben."

"Let's just say that my cousin taught me a way of fighting called Judo. I have been battling aliens as well as warlords for years although I always lose at Judo against my cousin when I was training for her and it was actually annoying that I always lose to her at Judo" replied Ben "Though I had to say, it was hard to get a single blast on Max when he's in Speed Mode."

Max crossed his arms behind his back and asked, "What can Steel and I say?" He then walked to the kitchen where Ashi was reading and cooking an instruction book, saying, "I've had the turbo power while he has the alien know-how to make use of it to beat down on our baddies on our earth." "Hey Ashi, you're taking up cooking?"

"I've learned that nowadays housewives are responsible for providing the food to the other occupants of the house." Ashi clarified. "It could have been a good way to familiarize myself with this period and era."

"Yeah? And what's Jack doing, trying to find an accounting job?" Max laughed.

Jack muttered from close by as he relaxedly rested on a cushion with his eyes closed, "Hmm, sounds tempting Max, but I prefer meditating." "I take it that your training session with the others worked well."

"Yeah, I tell ya, it's fortunate those training dummies are produced electronically, else Solomon might have had to buy some more." Max was suddenly quiet. "Speaking of which, we haven't received any further information from him lately. It's usually simply completed short-term missions. Hey Zak, have you and Octus received anything from him?"

Zak responded, "That'd be a no." "That hard drive must have been double encoded in order to endure this long."

Ilana approached the people watching TV. "Hey guys, see something good?"

Rex popped some popcorn into his mouth and muttered, "It's funny, yet pretty stupid." "Somewhat of rather something a bit more intense."

She had a thought after hearing it. She grabbed the remote, changed the channel, and said, "In that case, I've got one that is super intense!" She then showed them one of her favorite TV shows.

"This week on High School Heights, Todd catches Jenny on a date with Joey while Andy discovers that everybody in the school knows of what he's doing and accuses his girl of blabbing his secret on his Face journal. What is going to occur now? Can Janet and Joey maintain their long-term romance stable, or is it an opportunity for her to expand her horizons? As well, was Andy lied to through the only person he could ever trust in this world? Find out only one of the W.C."

Ilana was grinning brightly, but most people could only eerily gaze at the advertisement. Rex asked, wiping away the extra kissing from his eyes, "What in the name of all that's right in the world was that, and when can I mindwipe it away from my memories?" He also made a mental note to have Doctor Holiday or his brother construct some sort of mind-erasing device.

Octus replied, "It's called High School Heights." "It is a highly suggested series on television focused around fictional teenage characters that traverse throughout the process of enduring 4 years of high school; it is quite entertaining."

Steven scowled, "Seriously?" "You literally watch that garbage?"

Along with Marinette and Boone, Star sniffled, "Garbage? What are you talking about, it was so beautiful." "Please tell me it's coming on soon!"

Sashi squeezed her nose's bridge. "Penn must be enjoying a blast compared to me."

In addition to being vulnerable to extraterrestrial attacks, Sherman, Illinois was also prone to the usual crimes committed by criminals who used the police's assistance with the reconstruction to pull off a heist and flee with a truckload of cash without the police even bothering to try and catch them. The vendor of the drill, who should have known better than to lie to such dangerous people, told them that it was being used by a gang of people inside the bank who were wearing ski masks to break through the vault with it. The person running the machine said to the boss, "We're in."

He contacted his other known conspirators after saying, "Excellent." "We broke through to the safe, how's things on your end with the boys?"

The other crooks, meanwhile, were in the bank's foyer, keeping an eye on the security guards who had been shot and were therefore no longer alive. A person said, "So far, so good." "We got the security cameras disabled and keeping the cops busy with the city, it's going to be a huge pay day for all of us."

Sometimes, it seemed like this would be too simple, but then he saw a tiny ball start to roll toward him. Curious, he picked it up, and then it erupted in a plume of crimson smoke, the stink of which made him cough. He closed his eyes, trying to wave the foul air away while exclaiming, "Aghh! What the heck?!" but a solid fist struck him in the face.

When the smoke cleared, he saw an actual ninja wearing a red scarf and yelled, "Ninja takedown!" He laughed, but no one else joined him: "So bank robbers, eh? You realize there are ATMs just around the next block, just make an effort not to steal any money, Haha!" "See it's funny since you're robbers and you know the deal." yet nothing. He had to hurry to avoid being hit by the bullets that were being fired directly at him, presumably as a result of his intrusion and corny joke, "Oh come one, don't leave a ninja hanging-OH BOY!" He pulled out a staff to deflect the gunshots and said, "Yeesh, tough crowd."

Fortunately, assistance arrived in the form of Ron Stoppable, a Mystic Monkey martial arts expert, who crashed through the window ceiling while glowing blue with his MMP aura. He performed a palm strike to knock one man into a wall and a double kick strike to knock down two others. He also grabbed one of the men's guns and bent it into a pretzel. "Oh, I get it, it's because they're robbers and they steal money. Good one, Ninja!"

"Thanks!"

Then, as Kim Possible landed on the chest of one culprit, she swung in with her grappling hook/blow dryer. She deflected a fist and kneed the man in the chin, saying, "Ninja, enough with the jokes and Ron, concentrate on stopping the bad guys."

"Sorry babe."

El Tigre, Penn Zero, and Jenny Wakeman all charged in, ready for battle. El Tigre slashed and beat the criminals with his claws as the robot girl fired a net cannon that imprisoned them where they stood. He also fired a chain to grab one of the criminals by the face and pull him alone until he hit the hard floor. Penn shielded himself from the bullets with his sword and ran over while performing multiple slashes that tore their weapons and pants apart.

Penn shouted to the young hero, "All yours, Kim." The teen hero then performed a sequence of backflips to punch, kick, and trap all of the bank robbers; before long, they were either writhing on the ground or caught in nets. "Alright, Ultra Legion, I wanna say about 12 and bad guys zero."

The drill operator and the ringleader of this small theft were carrying several bags full of cash when they asked, "What's going on, out there?!" "What? Who the heck are you freaks?!"

Ron relaxed his shoulders. Call us the Ultra Legion dude, and we're about to-" Ron never finished his sentence as a figure wearing a dark blue hoodie grabbed him from behind and put him in a choke hold that rendered him unconscious. The attacker then delivered an elbow to the boss's cheek, a roundhouse kick across his face, along with another kick to the knee that knocked him out cold. Ron complained to the corporal, "Aw come on seriously, Lance, I was just about to get a killer zinger in."

The hooded figure grunted and pulled it off to reveal Lance. "This is a mission to stop a robbery Ron, not a comedy club and did you forget? During field missions like these instances, I avoid using my real name, instead refer to myself as Manus or Phantom Ninja, because I risk compromising our security by shouting out our real names or our attacks like Randy."

"Hey man, it helps strike fear into the bad guy's shoobs." The Ninja stood by "And regarding that codename of yours, you sure aren't jacking mine or Danny's style? Because that's all I'm saying I might just have to sue, I mean I am supposed to be the ninja of the team."

Lance responded, "At least I act the part."

The Ninja slouched his shoulders. "Okay, that was a low blow."

Kim said with her hands on her hips and a smile, "All in all, I'd call this a win."

Scoffing, Lance. "Hardly."

"It may not have been easy to get rid of them, but maybe if Randy had stuck to my plan of strike and patiently awaited until I had been able to leap over the leader beforehand implementing everyone else down this could have concluded much more quickly and effectively, plus the rest of you didn't have to intervene without me giving you the signal." He was criticized.

Jenny asked rhetorically, "Ah come on Lance, what were we expected to do? Just stand there until it is over?"

El Tigre continued, "Yeah, lighten up man."

Penn then inserted a finger into his ear as he received a notification from his girlfriend. He challenged and she dashed off, leaving the other in his dust but only for a short while. "Heads up, I don't think our night's over just yet, got a call from Sashi. She says that Solomon wants us all in the meeting room back at the tower, apparently it's urgent, race you guys back!"

Ron hoisted Kim as he sprang to amazing heights, followed by the others, shouting, "Oh-ho, it's on!"

Ilana and Octus may be taken with their new teammates, but Lance hasn't yet seen anything that'll make him take them seriously. Lance lingered for a moment as he shook his head at their antics. This is one of the many reasons he has issues being on this team; most of the players treat everything as some sort of game, which irritates him to no end. Only Jack and Ashi, who obviously have more expertise, and of course his aforementioned friends do he not have an issue with. But this team lacks a leader since there are too many rogue members to function as a cohesive one. Instead, this team requires a leader to maintain order and ensure that there are no gaps in any aspect of performance.

Lance turned on his armor and took off to see what their patron had to say to them.

The others were waiting for them in the meeting room when they got to the tower, so they went there right away. Zak enquired, "Hey guys, how was the bank robbery?"

Kim waved off as she, Ron, and the rest settled into their chairs, "No big, Zak."

Randy bragged as he put his feet up on the table, "To put it simply, we pounded butt and won." "I'm definitely going to tell Howard about

Jack told them, "Congratulations to you all." He pointed to the center of the table, where a hologram of Solomon was visible, and said, "But I'm afraid you ought to maintain any intentions of having fun, Solomon has a mission for us."

Kim concentrated face-on. "So what's the stitch?"

There was an image of a little island. Jack replied, "Although this is a distant island, G3 has been keeping an eye on it ever since a new set of people decided to seize power and soldiers were sent to remove them; I'm afraid you know who they are. A picture obtained by their satellite revealed a group of recognizable armed persons."

Everyone recalled S.A.R.C. too well; not too long ago, the Legion had to take them out following an attack at the mall. Ben narrowed his brows as he said, "S.A.R.C."

"No way, I thought we got rid of those guys shortly after we took their base." Danny said.

"Based on what we gathered from the flash drive you took from them it appears that S.A.R.C is far more spread out than we thought, so they might additionally have many bases throughout the globe as well as we'd still be unaware of it. All I can tell you is that the driver enjoyed information about them taking Santa Ayala from the Hyenas." He followed up with the explanation. "These guys seek to make use of the island as a base of operations for distributing their technology to the greatest bidder."

Ben shook his head, "Selling alien technology on the black market." "I already see the type of trouble that might happen."

"If you guys knew this, what's stopping you from going inside and shutting them down for good?" asked Rex.

"The answer to your question is also related to the drive, it appears that S.A.R.C has come up with a way for identifying any sort of G3 communications signal nearby, however since your communications work on a whole different frequency..."

Then we could sneak in unnoticed," Marco realized and took a deep breath. "Um, right?"

"Precisely, I advise you all to remain cautious; however, there's no telling exactly what you could discover there over all else; this is a stealth operation. Should you wish to succeed, then stick with stealth and you'll be fine."

Lance was forced to inquire. "Who'll be in charge?"

"Work it out among yourselves; I'll be transmitting a layout of the island to your ship."

Ben stood up after Solomon severed the link. "Alright people, you heard the man. Now let's get ready. Max and Steel, both of you ready the Photon cruiser for takeoff, and the rest of us will be there when we've got what we need."

Max responded by nodding. "You got it, Ben."

The team boarded the Photon Cruiser after getting ready for the mission, and it took off towards its objective with Lance at the controls and the others seated behind him with Jack serving as the navigator. Lance ordered the ship into stealth mode as they approached the isle, and the samurai examined the intel they had received from their benefactor. "There are two drop zones which are particularly heavily guarded, and our efforts will deplete them from their defenses."

As Lance continued, "Drop Zone A is going to be underwater." "As drop zone B is on the shore while drop zone c will be where we'll land in the jungle to begin investigating, anyone who has a way of breathing underwater then you better be prepared."

In her seat, Ilana was a touch giddy. "Is anyone else as thrilled as I am? This is our first official mission as a team."

Ben shook his head, "I guess it's okay, eh?"

Ben, is something wrong?" Ladybug questioned.

"I'll be honest, I've never been what one considered a stealth expert when I was 10, because my cousin Gwen often complained about me preferring to go hero and just blasting or hit anything in sight although I now know exactly what I'm doing as a hero since my cousin taught me about stealth and it worked." Ben clarified.

Star told him, "Oh my gosh, Ben, I'm the exact same way I was when you were 10." "I see an evil monster attempting to take my wand or to harm Marco and blam! Narwhal blast to the face, so how come we're supposed to be stealthy anyway, wouldn't it be easier to just assault anything resembling a S.A.R.C goon?"

To her, Lance turned. "You heard Solomon, this is strictly stealth, we are unwilling to draw too much attention especially with your destructive spells, that goes to all of you, we will not compromise our positions under any circumstances."

"It's like you just enjoy hearing yourself boss everybody around." Rex replied. "At least inform us if we're there already."

"Lucky for you Rex, we are getting near drop zone A so divers, you're up." Lance said.

"Ok, let's get ready," said Ben as he stood up, turned on the Omnitrix, slammed the dial, and was instantly transformed into an anglerfish-like creature with a human body. His face is covered in fins that resemble human hair. He has a strong jaw and teeth that are razor sharp. He can live on land because of two water tanks that cover his gills. His extra skin transforms into a tail as he enters the water, allowing him to swim more quickly. The Omnitrix logo is on his breast, and his attire is in the shape of a swimsuit.

"Ripjaws!" Ripjaws shouted silently.

Max and Steel later made contact as they entered the ideal mode for this kind of situation. Turbo said, "Go Turbo! Scuba!" He was holding foot paddles and fins on his back and limbs. Ashi and Octus were waiting. Ripjaws asked, "Are you guys ready?"

Octus responded, "Indeed, Ben."

They all proceeded to the back where the exit was, and when it was unlocked, they all leaped out and into the sea. Ashi's legs turned into mermaid tails as they were submerged, and she also developed gills. They noticed underwater guns that could fire ammunition that functioned underwater. "These guys must have their gear made waterproof."

They were searched for anything Steel and Octus could use against them. Steel noted, "Those lasers have heat sensors." "Octus buddy, I think this needs someone who doesn't generate heat."

"Understood." the robot floated close to one laser that couldn't see him, making it simple for Octus to send an electric surge through its system, deactivating it. Ripjaws then went for the second laser and bit it to pieces with his teeth. Ashi's hand transformed into a whip to tear one from where it was placed. Max punched the last laser with his enhanced strength. She rang out to the others, "This is Ashi." "Ben, Octus, Max, Steel and I have taken care of the drones below here."

They got her report back aboard the ship. Jack told his wife, "Very good Ashi." "Now it's time for the defense on the shores."

Lance gave the command, "Kim, Ron, Cat Noir, Sashi, and El Tigre, you're up."

Cat Noir looked over at Ladybug. "Kiss for good luck?"

Ladybug grinned wryly. "Maybe if we get through the mission."

"I'll hold you to it."

Kim gave him a back pat. "Okay Romeo, that's enough."

To allow them to access and leave the island, the Diaz youngster used his dimensional daggers to tear open a portal. When they emerged at the island's shore, they were greeted by additional automatic machine lasers. Ron remarked, "Wow, talk about overkill." "Seriously, how can't bad guys just, I have no clue, leave out signs that lead to their hideout? That would make things way easier."

Ron, can it?" yelled Sashi. "You're starting to sound like Boone."

"I got this one," said Cat Noir as he flipped over to hide behind the lasers. He dove in to rip the core out of one and deactivate it from within, while Sashi shot one to pieces and Ron used his blue aura as a shield while stomping on the ground, creating an opening in the ground into which it fell, and El Tigre launched a chain claw that crushed it like paper.

Kim spoke out into her wrist-mounted Kimmunicator, "Danny." "We've secured drop zone B, you're clear to land in the jungle."

"Got it, wait for the others that went below, I'll send you where we'll meet up."

Cat Noir questioned, "How depraved do you think those guys are?"

"Look behind you, Cat."

They turned to Max Steel and the others who went to the sea when they heard Max Steel. Ben turned back to his human form and said, "Looks like you guys started the party without us."

El Tigre dismissed it, saying, "It was simple."

"Now we just need to rendezvous with the others, yet we'll need to do it quietly." Sashi offered guidance. "Ben, Max, you have some transformations that allow you to remain quiet?"

"No problem Sashi, I got the guy that I need," Ben remarked. Ben activated the Omnitrix and slammed the dial, converting a blue and black insect humanoid alien with navy-blue wings, green eyes, and dark blue fur on the top of his shoulders to the bottom of his Omnitrix insignia is on his left shoulder, and he has bright blue patches on his forelimbs, antennas, claws, and head.

"Big Chill" Big Chill yelled whispered.

Max gave Steel a nod. "Go Turbo! Stealth!" He now resembled his base mode, with the exception that it was fully coated in black and had vanished from sight. "I'd like to see Randy keep up with this."

The crew of the Photon cruiser was free to roam the island in its cloaking mode without having to worry about defense weapons. They took care not to cause too much of a stir and so far they had escaped harm, but it would have paid to be more cautious given that they were in the territory of a group of armed mercenaries with advanced technology. Zak remarked as the corporal grudgingly obliged, "Okay Lance, stop here." "This center is the perfect spot to mark as drop C, I'll send our locations to Ben and the others."

Danny extended his arms. Everyone clasped hands when Marco said, "Everyone, hold together; I'll land us down." Star's cheek marks began to glow pink as she clasped hands with Marco. Everyone else changed to become invisible, including their ghostly buddy, who phased them down until they were on the ground before turning solid once more.

Boone patted his tummy and said, "Woah, I felt like I lost about 10 meatloaves."

Rex said, "You know, I didn't need to phase down here." "Another way to make a smooth landing would be a pair of Punk Busters."

"Two giant metal feet that's going to most certainly create a loud commotion; suppose covert isn't in your skillset." Lance raised his arms.

"Hey, it gets what needs to be done, dude."

Lance said, turning to the map, "Enough talk." He led the way before the others followed, and they slowly made their way through the jungle as they made sure that they wouldn't fall victim to any potential concealed traps. "We should head this way, it's wherever the hideout which S.A.R.C commandeered for themselves, doesn't slow down in the least." he took off first before the others followed him.

Rex motioned to Lance and muttered to the others, "Tch, look at him." "He probably believes he's the one running the show, last I checked, I didn't recall making him the one in charge."

Ladybug shrugged. "I'm sure Lance is simply doing his job, Rex. He's a soldier remember? Maybe that he's more adept at missions like these and is simply attempting to come up with the best way to go about things."

Star replied, a little too sourly, "He could perhaps be less of a jerk about it." "Do you remember that one fight at the mall? He rescued me but totally judged me on how I battled."

Jack reasoned, "As Ladybug said, he is a soldier." "As such, despite his young age, he undoubtedly has witnessed a fair amount of conflicts and out of that experience a desire to be as strong as his adversary. As due to his harsh attitude, I can only presume he isn't known for playing nicely with others or am I wrong, princess?" He asked Ilana because she understood him best.

Ilana was forced to look down as she thought back to Lance's horrible background, but she was aware that she had no right to discuss it. "In a way, yes. But believe me, if you knew, you certainly can't really blame him."

When Jake heard it, it was faint to the normal person, but because of his improved abilities, particularly hearing, it was loud to him. At that point, he paused. "Hold up peeps, you hear that?"

Steven arched his brow. "Um, no? Wait a minute, is this some dragon hearing thing?"

The Ninja took a frontal glance. "Alright Lance, what do we-" but surprisingly, the corporal was nowhere to be seen; it appeared as if he had simply gone into thin air, which threw everyone off guard. "What the juice?"

Jenny looked around and said, "He was standing right there!" She glanced at the ghost boy and said, "Ugh, I can't pick up on his heat signature, it's like he became a ghost." "No offense, Danny."

Danny proclaimed, "None taken."

Turning to Ilana, Aang said. "Does he do that a lot?"

She embarrassedly scratched her hair. "Heh, sort of yeah."

"Guys, what's happening ?" Kim asks through the communicator.

The initial response came from June. "We kind of lost track of Lance, Kim."

"Seriously? Okay, so check to see if anybody's tracking you."

Rex lowered his trusted eyewear and switched to infrared vision, he could see approximately a group of armed gunmen not too far from them, saying, "Good thing these goggles aren't for show." "I see a squad of bozos approaching."

Jenny chose to use her own infrared vision, grateful that her mother had managed to implant those revolting large eyeballs into her normal ones. They walked ahead softly and covered themselves behind rocks and plants to obstruct their view. "Make two separate squads, Rex. But this particular one has exactly the same kind of weaponry as G3 indicating that we just found S.A.R.C rather than their hideout and it looks like they'll meet each other before they find us."

The sound of gunfire suddenly appeared.

That doesn't require super hearing, Penn exclaimed with a hint of panic.

"Not to sound a little afraid, but perhaps we should wait to discuss this until a single squad remains or better yet, until they end up taking one another out." Marco offered the idea.

Star groused, "And missed out on a huge brawl."

The Ninja reminded them about their missing teammate, "Can we at least look for our little rogue?"

Rex formed the Rex Ride and called out to Ninja, "I'm with Randy there, besides I got some choice words regarding that jerk." "Hop on, bro."

Rex accelerated after Ninja climbed onto the back of the homemade truck. Danny shouted, "Guys wait-!" but they had already left and he had to face-palm. "This won't end well."

During the course of their voyage, some errant gunfire caused Rex to lose control and deform his vehicle, causing Randy to slip and fall in the middle of the battle. Groggily sitting up, Randy rubbed his temple as he stood up. Then, as he looked up and noticed one S.A.R.S. aiming a laser at him, his eyes widened in horror and he asked, "Where'd you get your license?" He yelled out to his pal, Rex, who jumped in front of him and prepared the Block Party shields.

Rex growled as he kept the shields up, then peered down to the Ninja, "So much for the stealthy part of this mission." Better make a run for it, buddy! After yelling "Better make a run for it!" and making a break for it to escape the firing line, the others decided to join in and assist both of them in their failed mission.

While Star and June cast a spell, Danny Phantom fired several ecto powered rays at both S.A.R.C. and the other goons who were battling them and identified the other weapons dealing organization. "Rolling thunder lightning blast!" Lightning and thunder struck all of them violently, short-circuiting most of the weapons. Jenny and Ilana fired a joint concentrated laser to cut the trees from their stumps and fall down on ten. Marco and Ladybug supported them by creating mini-portals for them to fall into. Jack then jumped high enough for a sky assault with his sword as he slashed them into sub-space. Big Chill flew in and phased through the S.A.R.C. soldiers freezing them solid, two hyenas tried to aim but found an invisible force grabbing both of their heads and slamming into each other; it was revealed to be Max Steel as he then switched to Spike Mode and swung his whips at them, striking them down. Zak then used two circular objects that connected with their chests stunning them into an unconscious state before he blocked two goons.

As Kim Possible dashed by and tossed numerous orbs at the soldiers and thugs that shattered into a jelly-like substance that ensnared them, Ron leaped up and sent a tremendous sound wave that caused them to spread out. Manny flew on Ashi's back while being carried by her, then with a roar, he descended. Jake saw this as his chance to charge in his dragon form and unleash a blazing fire at them along with a tail swipe, Cat Noir somersaulted and extended his baton to the length of a fencing sword to jab one in the chest which made him lose his footing and kicked one to the knee, Octus ran at incredible speeds as he pushed multiple people at once, and the half-demon technically moved the weapons away. Sashi moved quickly and engaged Penn in a back-and-forth battle, kicking him in the jawline while Penn sliced and blasted with his weapons. She addressed her lover, believing that their best friend was to blame for blowing their cover this time: "How did you know who blew our cover this time?"

Penn blasted while he defended himself, "Not to argue with you Sash, but it wasn't Boone this time!"

"Seriously?"

Boone yelled, "It's true!" while blasting as many as he could. "In fact, Randy and Rex were the ones who blew it!"

The Ninja said as he jumped into the fight with one of his assault balls, "Only by accident!" "Ninja bee ball!" he said as soon as he flung it to the ground. A swarm of bees then attacked the adversaries, causing them to scream and get stung repeatedly while Rex used his Slam Cannon to fire many pebbles at them.

Lance leaped down from the top of a nearby tree to ambush two thugs. He glared at the squad, having witnessed them break their cover in the worst way, "What is the matter with you guys?!" "This was supposed to be an undetected operation, so why didn't any of you follow my lead?! Disappear into the jungle." He clarified.

Rex addressed the corporal while using the Smack Hands to knock soldiers to the ground. "That's what you've been doing? Great way to fill us in on the game's strategy pal, that was really helpful!" he joked.

Ninja continued as he repeatedly pounded one in the chest before kicking him straight to the chin, "Yeah, we're not mind readers you see."

"If I recall correctly, you're a ninja, I would've believed you or anyone would've mastered the concept of sticking to the shadow. Unless of course that's merely in-name only." Lance responded.

When Ninja saw a Hyena running away, he was ready to hurl a ninja ring at him when Danny came up from the ground and punched him in the chest, knocking him out. "Okay, now you're just being mean," Ninja said.

The Legion agreed to swap notes once all the attackers were killed, and they were all rounded up and bound to the trees to prevent them from fleeing. "Those are totally S.A.R.C uniforms and weapons so Solomon's intel was spot on." Kim said. "And I'm going to be out on a limb here as well but I'm going to go ahead and say that the other ones are the Street Hyenas, the previous owners of this island."

Big Chill questioned, "Have they spilled any info we might use?"

Shaking his head, Zak. "Sorry Ben, but these guys would have been trained to manage interrogation, and quite well I might add."

Lance said, "There's another thing to note." "Before now, a single organization has been handling firearms but S.A.R.C chose to toss them out, they're production of weaponry was all but halted, it seems to have been a side objective, S.A.R.C intended to get rid of the competition."

Rex let out a bored groan. "Okay we get it, the group of psycho soldiers wants to be the only ones who are selling alien weapons, now let's move ahead and bust their little plans."

Lance cut in, "Not yet." His mind then went back to when Ilana told him that their leader had a weapon of Mutraddi origin, which was a red flag all by itself. "You might not be aware of this, but G3's technology relies on Galalunian builds, indicating the same for the types of weapons S.A.R.C might have been using in the period that we've battled them so they may be planning something with that level of tech." "It's essential that we avoid causing an excessive amount of a disturbance till I know what it is."

Rex approached him and peered directly into his face, repeating, "Until you know?" with skepticism.

Lance reciprocated the glare with his own. "If we're serious about this team, then it requires a leader."

Rex scoffed, not enjoying the idea of having to follow orders from a guy like him. "And you're the obvious choice?" "Dude, you bailed out on us with no any sort of a warning, not really someone a leader does."

Lance made fun of him and asked, "Oh, so you think you could do a better job?" "Don't even joke, you're far more liable to get us into a mess rather than taking us out because your reckless attitude puts everyone at risk so I believe we know who's least qualified and it's someone who's not a reckless wild cannon with no expertise on how to be covert."

Steven stood up as he and a few others decided to offer some of their peace as well, saying, "He's not wrong though." "A real leader doesn't leave his team hanging, wondering where he is, he makes sure to let them know what he's preparing, did they teach that at military school?"

Jack made an effort to be more sensible. "We mean no offense Lance, but they're right, you say Rex is reckless but you yourself acted on impulse without any warning being given to the everyone else, you can't expect them to follow if you proceed to act on your own."

"All due respect Jack, I anticipated them to follow my lead of which they failed hilariously, and I strongly doubt if any of them know a thing or two about being a leader." said Lance.

"Oh, I guess I didn't tell you that I have my own team," said Danny. "And I can tell just right now, that you can't just ditch everyone to go with your own strategy, because it completely messes up the entire dynamic."

Rex informed him straight up, "In other words, you doing the solo act is what led us to break our stealth mission.

Lance looked back at him, reaching for his watch as Rex's hands lit with blue circuit lines, "You are stepping out of line, you know that, right?"

Everyone else started with a mixture of dread, apprehension, and anticipation. Ron said, nodding, "Man, here I am without any popcorn." Rufus agreed.

"Yup."

Aang posed the pivotal query as a result of all the debate over the team's future leader. "So, do any of you want to lead?"

As he pointed towards Rex and Lance, Max shook his head. "And risk arguing like that? Yeah, I think Steel and I are good where we are; I can't even imagine me ever leading a team of my own. How about the rest of you?"

Ron shrugged and looked at Kim. "Yeah, no, let me tell you right now, Max, I'm somewhat of a follower." "I think you know, KP, you've always been in charge ever since our first mission together; you'd be perfect."

"I appreciate the decision of confidence, baby, but in a group like this, I might be above my head," she said with politeness.

Jenny remarked, though it was primarily because she didn't think she'd have it in her to effectively be any type of commander: "I was built to stop crime, not lead a team, so I'm out."

Sashi interrupted Boone just as he started to speak. "Don't even think about it."

"Fair enough."

"I've led Cryptids, leading other people might be a bit much for me." Zak replied.

Ashi said, "Well, Jack is a good warrior and also the future emperor." "He's endured worse and has led people into battle countless times, so it's natural to think of him as the leader."

Ben thought about that. "Yeah, you have a point."

"In any case, that would hardly be our primary concern right now." Octus said.

Ilana remarked, her face wrinkled with worry, "I just wish they'd stop fighting against one another."

Marco questioned, "Star, have you thought about yourself?"

When the Mewni princess was brought back, she hurriedly attempted to refute the idea. "Oh absolutely not, I mean I barely take being a princess seriously, so I'm unsure if you'd want me as a leader."

Her hidden crush said, "But you're a future queen of Mewni." Such praise, especially from Marco, made her glance away as her cheek markings lit up pink and she turned all crimson in the face. "I'm sure you'd do great, and it would make for a good experience," he said.

When Zak experienced a searing sensation in his head, he went to one of the restrained group members who had attempted to free S.A.R.C.

Ladybug urged them, "Look, I don't really care who gets to lead, I actually think we should worry about finishing the mission."

"My thoughts exactly." Ben said as he approached and stepped in between Rex and Lance, "Okay, that's enough both of you; we're not going to accomplish anything if you guys keep fighting against one another, so keep your heads in the game." Both scowled one final time at each other before turning away in a huff. Ben groaned and glanced at the tied-up Street Hyenas and thought of something. "If the S.A.R.C. unit isn't going to talk, then why not speak to the guys who used to manage this place? They may have something we don't know."

Manny was prodded by Zak, who also told him to check his pocket. "Check it. Appears like notes of every place they mapped out, one has a lot of tunnels."

He cocked his head, Marco. "Seriously? That's pretty dumb to just carry around."

El Tigre gave Cat Noir a high five and said, "Nice one, little cat."

Manny replied, "Thanks but Cat Noir, I managed to figure it out.

Guess you're not as brilliant as you liked to believe pal, therefore anything you say, our buddies will cheerfully interpret for us," Ben said as he stood in front of the previous island owners.

The man who was tied up sighed in defeat and gave them everything he knew. "Our former factory is only about 20 kilometers from this location and the only way to sneak in undetected is by using a secret entrance located beneath a large boulder. You can't miss it, when there is an emergency we'll use underground tunnels for our escape."

As they all knew what their next move would be, the Ultra Legion turned to face one another.

Just as they had suspected, the factory was close by. As they stood on a ledge with a good view of the ground below, Rex peered through his goggles and Lance used a pair of binoculars to spot numerous guards accompanying them on modern forklifts that were transporting crates full of weapons. Lance looked at the product and noted a helicopter pad, "Look at all that product." He also wanted to confiscate or just destroy everything Mutraddi-related, saying, "It seems we stumbled on them during an exchange that looks to be going down soon, so the question is who are they selling their technology to and why?"

Jack made the judgment, "We need to figure out the buyer."

Rex said, "Just what I was expecting."

Scoffing, Lance. "Yeah, cause you're such a thinker."

Rex scowled. "Again with your sarcasm, dude? You know, a real leader would concentrate on getting some answers."

They turned to see Jenny lift a boulder, revealing a secret entrance, and she said, "Hey guys." "It's just like the creep said, and perhaps we'll discover answers this way."

The team entered through the hidden passageway and encountered a blocked entrance. However, there was a button nearby, and with a quick push, the entrance opened, allowing them to pass through a locker room. Lance motioned for them to stand back while she quietly opened the door and quietly checked to see if there were any guards present, but thankfully none were visible. Ilana was concerned as he quickly left the others behind and shouted, "All clear." before scouting the area.

They followed Lance downstairs and yelled, "Lance, hold on!" but, just like previously, he was nowhere to be seen.

Rex looked angry, "Are you kidding me?" "Dude ditched us again."

As they started to move, Kim stated, "Cat Noir, Zak, Sashi, June, Aang, and Penn, let's go find him."

"Guys hang," they were already moving forward. Ben facepalm, "...on."

Steel said, "The chain of command really needs some work."

Lance crept up to the soldier in the chair, pulled him out of his seat, kicked him in the chest, then socked him in the right cheek, knocking him to the ground. Unaware of their presence, Lance had moved up to an observation deck that undoubtedly had secret information on whatever S.A.R.C was planning. Lance then looked at the computer console that the soldier was using.

Back with the others, they watched from behind boxes as forklifts quickly moved crates from the pad outside to the tops of the crates. Marco swallowed, "Just look at the size of the shipment." "Whoever's buying these kinds of psychos has to have a lot of money."

Octus pointed at the containers they used as cover, "Agreed, but there is something I can't seem to process." "In here, there are the kind of G3 advanced weapons that S.A.R.C was able to steal previously, yet they completely ignored them. Meanwhile, they seem to have been heavily focused on those crates that are over there, what might be in them that's more important?"

Danny shrugged. "Maybe...freshness counts?"

Danny, I have my doubts about that, somehow," Ashi said.

Steel pointed to the clear sky and stated, "Guys, I got a reading on a helicopter." "By what I've estimated, it's going to take about 3.4 minutes to arrive."

Ben stated, "That has to be the buyer." "Ron, inform Kim and the others."

Speaking of which, Zak used his Claw's staff mode to hit him upside the head while Kim flipped over and held up a hair spray bottle that contained knockout gas that caused him to fall. Kim and her group had managed to find the observation deck where their lost teammate happened to be, but he wasn't aware of the two S.A.R.C soldiers who were just about to ambush. Kim, a bit annoyed by the corporal's abrupt disappearance, questioned, "What the heck are you doing, Lance?"

He added, keeping his gaze fixed on the screen, "I saw the upper level from below and knew it had to be important information so I decided to investigate."

Cat Noir said with a faint glower, "Well Lance, thanks for keeping us in the know.

Zak peered over Lance's shoulder, "Found something worth noticing?"

He described the different designs he was displaying to them as "schematics," outlining innovative concepts for weapons devices. "It looks like they're trying to make some sort of new technology that I'm barely able to recognize."

The young scientist referred to another fact by saying, "I can tell you right now that we're looking at Galalunian tech, Octus showed me how it works, but check that out." "That's definitely Novatron tech, it looks like they've been trying to fuse these vastly different pieces of tech into some kind of hybrid technology."

Aang had to ask, "That's bad...right?"

Zak pointed to another set of blueprints, saying, "You have no idea, Aang. With this kind of combining, the resulting tech is far more dangerous than each of its respective tech, and which isn't all." "There's an additional element included in these plans, but I cannot identify the design, which is neither Novatron or Galalunian in origin, wonder where they got it."

But Lance knew exactly what was going on—it was Mutraddi technology that they were mixing with the superior extraterrestrial technology, which only made the situation much worse than it currently is.

Kim stroked her chin, "Maybe we could ask our mystery buyer." A particular image caught her eye, "That would make whoever it is S.A.R.S's supplier as well, using the organization to create super weapons." "And what do you know?" they said as they saw a chopper land on the platform and open its doors. "Ben, are you seeing this?"

Ben answered, "Yeah Kim, we can see it."

Since the mysterious buyer's entire appearance was hidden by a black cloak and it was nighttime, it was especially difficult to make out his face, which seemed to add to the mystery surrounding his identity as he walked past the assembled S.A.R.C. soldiers and met their leader. The team could see someone or something exit the helicopter from both positions. His voice had a raspy quality to it when he spoke, "Commander."

The leader signaled for the soldier next to him to advance carrying a briefcase, saying, "We've been expecting you." "All the plans are now made and completed, the only thing left to do now is to delete any files that remain in the master computers stationed here, and shortly after we'll strip this island of anything useful, then destroy it."

The buyer chuckled, but they didn't know that Danny was listening in while invisible. He then used his dimensional device to take a picture and send it to his friends to give them an image of the ever so mysterious buyer. "Excellent, our master is going to be quite pleased, we will have the upper hand on our enemies."

After everything was completed, all they could do was speculate about him. Sashi remarked, "A dude in a cloak? That's all he can give us?"

Jack argued, "It's better than anything." "My friends, I'm afraid with all the security, we might have to act sooner rather than later."

So, in other words, let's go team, Ben stated as he activated the Omnitrix and slammed the dial turning him into a big beetle-like metamorphosis. He has six limbs with sharp claws and is coated in a hard, black shell. On the crown of his head, there is a longhorn. On his back, he possesses green folding wings. His horn's left side has the Omnitrix insignia, while his belly, mouth, and forearms are all gray.

"Eatle" Eatle yelled as he grabbed the guns of the container and deflected it into a green explosion. Eatle took more bites and blasted the S.A.R.C soldiers even more before they could respond, shouting, "Let's blast these guys!"

The commander turned to one of his guys when he heard a disturbance outside. The team shouted, "Activate the Brawler!" as they entered the activation codes. As they did so, a loud bang was heard, followed by the appearance of a crouching robot that was large in both shape and size with heavy arms that could deal a very powerful blow to anyone in its path. The robot then leaped up and crashed through the warehouse roof right where the team was hiding, forcing them to flee. The leader and his team members then went inside to see the Ultra Legion. Jenny raced at the Brawler by grabbing it by the chest, but the more malevolent robot grabbed her by the legs and hurled her away. He said, "You again. Destroy them all!"

As the fire was being directed at him, Marco pulled out his dimensional daggers and opened a doorway. He called out to the others, "Kim!" "We got a firefight in our hands, we could use some help!"

Max Steel stretched out a hand. Jack slashed them against their armor, his wife transformed into a lioness and mauled a few of them, Danny flew in while still invisible and sent freeze blasts to encase most of them in solid ice, Danny fired back at them with multiple rounds of turbo powered ammunition, the Ninja threw smoke bombs to provide a way to hide himself as he entered into the Ninja Rage where his suit turned into invincibility, and Jack slashed them against

He unleashed a big fireball that led to a little explosion while yelling "Ninja Tengu fireball!" El Tigre maneuvered on all fours to avoid being hit. One claw fist launch struck a person in the face, but the commander quickly fired an electric net, trapping him. Fortunately, Kim Possible arrived just in time to prevent the little guy from being shot, so she grabbed him and flipped away before using a laser lipstick to cut him free. Lance was ready to step in when he noticed the commander escape and decided to chase them with Ilana. As Corus opened fire on the adversaries, a fierce conflict ensued, and Octus unleashed electrical orbs all around to anybody who wasn't a member of the Infinity Legion. As she stood next to Boone, who raised the shield as Penn and Sashi attacked, Ladybug used her Yo-Yo to pull weapons away. Ron and Rex helped Jenny while Rex formed his Bad Axes and Ron hit with an MMP charged fist, leaving a few dents and cut marks as the rest did their job.

When the enemy received additional reinforcements, Ben slapped the omnitrix sign to change into Jetray. "Guys, we might have to regroup. Lance prepared the way for a- " he observed there was no trace of him, "Oh come on, where could that guy be now?!"

Due to Danny Phantom's destruction of the helicopter, an emergency transport was waiting for the S.A.R.C chief and the ever-mysterious customer outside. However, before they could board the chopper, Lance dropped down and blocked their path. The buyer chuckled, "Ah, I see Solomon decided to send in you, how fortunate." He introduced himself as "Corporal Lance," which astonished Lance because it was a well-kept secret that he knew who he was. "It has been some time, hasn't it? "Tell me, are you along with that wretched princess and your robot companion going to form Titan, it's always been your little ace in the hole."

Lance was quite worried after hearing all of this personal information; if they knew about Titan and Octus and Ilana's status as a princess, how much else do they know? Additionally, despite the fact that they were hiding their names, there was something strange about these two; there was a sense of familiarity around them both, almost as if he had previously met them. He questioned, "How do you know all this?!" "Who are you?!"

The S.A.R.C. commander grinned as he advanced. "Oh Lance, I'm not surprised you haven't figured it out, compared to me, you've always been behind and yet..." He tightened his grip. He charged at him, but Lance flipped over and assumed a combat stance until he received a call from Ben. "Time and again, they'd rather have you out in the front lines and didn't spare me a second look, despite the fact that I deserved recognition. I was the one who had the reputation, while you were just some lowly orphan who had no right to be a true soldier. You might not know who I am yet.

Ben said, "Lance, we have to move!"

Lance gritted his teeth and considered his alternatives. The team was a pain, but what kind of person would he be if he just left them hanging...again? On the one hand, he was eager to learn their identity and learn what they were planning with their hybrid technology, especially since one component was Mutraddi tech. When Ilana called out, "Lance, please!" he realized instantly that protecting her was his most essential task. As the commander re-charged, Lance hurled a smoke bomb, which he exploited to flee much to the chagrin of his adversary.

The buyer calmed his irritation. "Calm yourself, commander; you will have an opportunity; for now, we ought to examine the product. We can't leave until you're absolutely sure they're salvageable."

The commander was limited to simply seeing the location where the corporal vanished. He vowed, "Next time."

Ilana was holding Lance and deactivating her armor as she raced with the others, but the S.A.R.C. soldiers and the Brawler weren't far behind as they began firing at them. Ben yelled, "Everyone head to the exit!" as Danny created an ice wall to protect them. He soared with them as they rushed for the exit. It was dark, but Danny's hand glowed green and Aang used firebending to provide a light source. "Ron, the support beams!" the mystical monkey power punched them away to cause a cave-in that would separate the team from their enemies. This worked a little too well, as it nearly crushed them, but they managed to pull through without trouble.

Jack remarked, "We should be okay here." "At least for now."

Rex crossed his arms, "Can't imagine we had to turn tail and run." "With the power we're packing, it could have been easy for us to take them down."

Zak said, "It was a tactical retreat, Rex." "And besides, that was the only thing we could do, all things considered."

"It doesn't change the fact that our first mission failed miserably," Kim said with a little look of defeat, feeling a bit sorry for herself because she seldom ever dealt with such a failure.

Ilana could only gaze down in shame as Lance assured her, "I told you this team wouldn't be perfect."

Rex reached a point when he had been through enough and wanted to resolve some issues. "Oh, now that you're part of the team, huh? This is coming from the guy who abandoned us twice in one night simply to play secret soldier or something!"

Lance reminded him, "Like I told you before, our team needs the proper leader.

Sashi yelled, "And it's absolutely not you. "I'd rather follow Penn than some hotshot who has no concept of how to communicate with his team! "

Ron agreed by nodding. Rufus chirped in agreement, "Yeah, Lance, even I know that's an insanely stupid move."

June glared at him and said, "No one is able to follow a leader who's never there.

"How can you expect us to trust you if you won't trust us?" said Manny.

Lance had reached his breaking point. "I was expecting you all too."

Jack yelled, "Enough!" and it drew their attention. They mostly calmed down after hearing, "Fighting between ourselves won't solve anything, remember we must work as one!"

Ben made the decision to try and calm Lance down. "We're not soldiers; rather, we're people who only want to uphold moral principles, and we can't do that if we continue to engage in conflict with one another rather than with our actual adversaries. "Look Lance, I can see why you want to be squad leader; you have experience as a soldier where you come from. This team is still in its infancy, so if we're going to succeed, we'll all need to rely on one another, have flawless communication, and operate in unison. We didn't do that, there was no actual strategy to follow, and we wanted the Ultra Legion to be more than just a bunch of teens and two time-displaced adults, didn't we? That's why this mission failed. Then, in order to avoid doing more harm than good, which we cannot afford, we must operate better as a group."

Ben was absolutely correct, Lance was always known for his disobedience in the army, and it wasn't their fault they weren't able to follow his lead; instead, he just didn't have the wherewithal to tell them or to actually talk to them. I guess he's the one who has his own flaws too. Lance remained silent as he carefully listened to everything that was said to him. He groaned, "You're right, Ben." "This isn't like the military, I can't lead a team like this, I'm not a leader."

As he rose, Jack remarked, "But you'd been right before." "All of us must have a leader, somebody to coordinate ourselves as a better force, isn't that right, Ben?"

He gave a nod. "Yeah, you're right, and if you asked me, Jack, I believe we know the right man for the job."

Jack put his hand on his shoulder and said, "Indeed." "Which is the reason why I propose you to serve as our team leader, Ben."

Ben's eyes immediately expanded in absolute disbelief. He looked around and said, "W-wait, what? No, I was actually talking about you, weren't we all guys?" but noticed that they were all grinning at him. "Guys?"

Jenny agreed, saying, "Actually Ben, he's not wrong."

"Yeah man, you take charge since we had to deal with the Novatrons also you've handled this kind of invasion on your earth more than us, right." Danny said.

"Not to mention having an uncluttered mind in the middle of a stitch." Kim said.

June said, "I don't need to calculate to figure out the obvious choice."

Rex pointed to himself, Zak, Max, and Steel and stated, "We could've told you, pal, I mean you act as a leader when we were battling the Novatrons."

Steel said, "Statistically speaking, it absolutely bound to happen."

Max said, "And you're never wrong Ben."

Marco said, "We're all ready to follow you," and Star nodded.

"If Jack believes you're the best one suited to lead us, therefore, I'd trust his feelings if I were you, Ben," Ashi stated to him.

Ilana turned to face Lance, who nodded in agreement. "I'm with them."

Ben wanted to make sure that they were themselves even if they appeared to be. He said, "You guys are totally sure?" and when they nodded, he had all the responses he needed to accept his new position as team leader. "Fine, I accept, but I'm going to tell you right now that I'm way far from perfect."

"Nobody is perfect, Ben," remarked Cat Noir. "But we're in agreement we choose you as our leader."

The final choice had been selected, and now it was time to go to work. Ben then made a statement. "Okay Ultra Legion, our main objective is going to be to stop the cargo from leaving this island, so here's what we're gonna do..."

Ben gave Marco the go-ahead to open a portal, and the Ninja decided to mess around with the helicopter and add a little surprise for them. Marco was on the lookout as the shadow warrior snuck aboard and went to the main controls. After pulling out a pair of sais, he jabbed them into it where small sparks were flying, and then he went outside and signaled Marco that it had been successful. They both continued running as they saw their adversaries approach the helicopter; when the buyer entered and discovered the damaged controls, he immediately alerted his comrades of this setback. "I'm afraid we are being the targets of sabotage, undoubtedly by our interlopers."

The S.A.R.S commander merely remarked, "Great."

One of his soldiers made a comment. "Sir, should we send search parties to look for the intruders?"

"Don't be silly, they'll come to us."

The team's success was then reported to the team leader by Marco. "Ben, the copter's controls are done for."

"Roger, Marco, you and Randy head back, so we can prepare for the next phase." Ben said.

While the Ninja smoke bombed his way back to the tunnel, Marco entered an escape portal, and they started to make their way to the other side's exit. Kim reminded them, "We still don't know who the buyer is." "All we do know is the fact that he's definitely connected to S.A.R.C considering he looks a little too familiar with their leader and they have access to an unknown form of alien technology."

"There's also this whole hybrid technology thing, combining Novatron and Galalunian with such unknown technology requires a lot of science work." Zak said.

"I think that the appropriate expression is; 'tip of the iceberg'." said Octus.

"But we should go quickly, " said Ben as Big Chill instructed them. "Messing with the controls will only slow them and we can't waste anymore time."

The S.A.R.S. forces finally managed to fix all of the manual controls' damage, but they also turned on the autopilot out of caution in case there was any further difficulty. A soldier alerted his commander, "Sir, the helicopter is operational," but suddenly an electrical energy struck him, throwing him to the ground. It turned out to be Danny Phantom, who kicked another just as he began firing, although he was hard to hit for any of them. He yelled aloft, "Go for the sky assault, Ilana!" The armored princess blasted down a barrage of lasers at her targets.

Jenny sailed by as well before coming to rest in front of the brawler. She grinned, "Wanna go another round, big boy?" The American Dragon and the Avatar launched a flame strike in response to the towering mech's charge. "Sorry, not the plan." Aang said.

As Jake and Aang proceeded to exhale as much air as they could, it was engulfed in massive flames. However, Jake was subsequently hit by a shot from the commander. He flew to him and decided to handle things the traditional manner, saying, "Oh, that was a mistake, Doug." Just as he said, more shots were fired, but he avoided them all, punched the blaster out of the commander's hands, and sent tail swipes his way. However, the commander backflipped over, unprepared for Jack to swing his sword at him, breaking a part of his mask and revealing his right eye.

He grunted in rage and drew out two handguns, firing at Jack, Aang and Jake as they attempted to block him, allowing the commander time to retreat to the helicopter.

The buyer was watching the action from where he stood when a shuriken was launched and sliced off a portion of his cloak. Randy, Kim, Ron, Cat Noir, Ladybug, Zak, Max, June, Steven, and Boone encircled him and said, "Hey shoob!" "Going somewhere?"

"You pathetic children had no idea who you're dealing with."

The buyer suddenly moved quickly out of the path, struck the blonde with a blow that was powerful enough to push him back, and then executed a spinning kick that knocked him down as Ron rushed to remove the robe. "Then enlighten us." Ron said. "Okay, that was definitely pretty enlightening."

Kim lunged forward and pushed the customer aside. "No one messes with my guy."

Ladybug assisted Ron in standing back up and said, "You okay, Ron?"

"Fine Ladybug, just as soon as I get even with him."

Boone fired six shots at the buyer, but he managed to elude them and almost collide with one of the others."

"Max, I'm sorry," Boone remarked.

The Brawler was ready to help its owners smash the invaders, but Ben, as Chromastone and Danny destroyed it's tough armor, opening a gateway where Marco and El Tigre leaped on it and screamed out, scratching it, but it tossed them to the ground. "Shooting star explosion!" Star blasted off exploding shooting stars as Max backed away from the buyer and joined in, prepared to deploy one of his weapons. Rex repeatedly struck the Brawler with the Smack Hands, which caused the force to mess with the machine's sensors. Steel wrapped the whip around the Brawler's arm and yelled, "Turbo Slash!" Steel linked with the handle, which caused a large blue whip to appear.

Then Chromastone slammed the omnitrix emblem off of his chest, changed into XLR8, and quickly gathered all the weapons before setting them all down on the ground. "Octus, if you'd please."

He fired an electromagnetic blast that destroyed them all with the phrase "with pleasure."

The S.A.R.C warriors were left helpless once their guns were destroyed, which Cat Noir and Ladybug joyfully exploited. The cat hero expressed fake sadness, "Aw, looks like they lost every one of their toys."

As they dealt with each of them, the two Parisian heroes said, "Let's comfort them in our own way." They did so by punching, kicking, jabbing, and wrapping their staff and Yo-Yo around their bodies and limbs.

He was able to get past the others with the help of the buyer, but he was then hit by a missile fired by Lance wearing the Manus armor, who had Ashi standing next to him. "Ashi, go!"

Penn then entered and administered some more slashes, especially on the arm, and he observed that the blood was purple. The half-demon lady then changed into a black cheetah and slashed its paw on the cloak, causing a tear. He stared at the blood and said, "What are you?" The customer snarled in pain and tried to flee, but Sashi held him to the ground.

She said, "Don't think so, punk!" as she lifted her energy sword, but the buyer grabbed hold of her and strangled her brutally as she felt her oxygen levels drop. Penn leapt in and blasted him away.

She snuggled against his chest and he called out, "Sashi!"

She said, "Nnn...I got careless PZ, sorry about that."

He reassured her. "Take it easy babe, I got you."

The buyer hurried to the commander. "I believe now is the time for our departure."

The commander said, "Sorry to cut this little game short, but we have a flight catch!" as he and the buyer boarded the helicopter and turned on the autopilot, causing the chopper to lift off into the air.

El Tigre raised his right paw in aim. He screamed, "Don't think so!" as his chain caught on the helicopter as he was being lifted into the air. The commander saw this and began shooting at him to get him to release, and then he decided to shoot at his claws. Fortunately, he realized at that point he had to let go, and Ilana saw him falling.

Before he could make a smear on the earth, she flew and seized him shouting, "Manny!" "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, thanks, sorry I didn't get them."

Ninja pulled out a remote and said, "No worries Manny." The commander said, "Time to show off our little gift to them." pushing the button let the copter lose control and the containers inside exploded. The commander jumped out and grabbed the customer; he had a parachute so they could land in the bush far away. The plant and its technology were completely destroyed in a massive explosion when the helicopter crashed into it, making it impossible for anybody to ever utilize it for evil purposes again. "You know, I always wanted to blow up a weapons factory."

He would have loved it if this operation hadn't been so chaotic, but he still considered it a success as everyone gathered to admire their accomplishment. Lance grinned at Ben, who grinned back, saying, "We picked the right guy to lead."

Ben changed back into his human form and grinned nervously, "Thanks, though I'm curious if Solomon might agree."

Boone replied, drawing a double poke from Kim and Ladybug, "Well it's a good thing being the leader means that you are the only one who has to explain the whole mess to him." "What?"

Fortunately, although the leader of G3 was a little disappointed that they didn't follow his advice to be stealthy, he wasn't too upset because the goal had still been accomplished. "Even though you managed to blow your cover that threatened the success of your mission, you remained intent on finishing a successful job. No battle plan lives the initial encounter with the enemy, and how you adjust to the situation is what really shows your victory, and the way you choose the leader determines character."

Ben smiled at that as Jack nodded respectfully and Rex, Zak, Max, and Steel patted him on the back.
