The agents looked confused. "What does it do to cut your pockets?" asked Bishop. "Long story," replied Percy. "Percy... The bomb is made to blow up if someone tries to disarm it. As soon as I cut any cable on it it goes off," said Nyssa. "How much will the bomb take down?" asked Percy. "... The whole building. They can even trigger it through a remote. We are three floors underground. We are dead the moment the bomb gets triggered," replied Nyssa. "How much water would it take for the blast?" asked Percy. Nyssa looked shocked at Percy. "Water?" asked McGee confused. "Whatever happens next, I'll explain -" Percy replied only to startle as the door was thrown open.
Will and Nico stood in the door. "Okay, what the Hades happened out there?" asked Percy because he could hear screams of terror. "Annabeth is pissed and Thalia was at camp with the hunt who joined in after finding out what happened," shrugged Nico unbothered and came in to open the cuffs of the children. Will raised an eyebrow at Percy going to him to free him. "Stop! Don't lift me! The chain is connected to the bomb!" ordered Percy. Will stopped in his tracks. "Anyone here know how to disarm the bomb?" asked Will slowly. "It can't be. They made it so that as soon as you cut any cable on it, it goes up," replied Sean standing with a few others near the bomb looking defeated. "Hiw long will you need to get the kids out?" asked Percy. "What are you planning?" asked Will wary. "I'll break the chain once the kids are out. it's three levels and I would have around 45 minutes to get out which should be enough for me," explained Percy. Jason hesitated. "Nico?" asked Will. "Best plan of action. At the moment we would risk all of our lives. However one would need to come back here and help once we cleared the building of our people," replied Nico nodding. "I'll come back," announced Will untying the agents. "No, Will. It's too risky," protested Percy. "Why because I am not the one usually fighting?" snapped Will. "No because you're the head of our infirmary! You're our best medic!" hissed Percy. Will's face took on a look of realization. "Who else is here?" asked Percy. "Only the ones you know already," replies Nico. Percy looked conflicted. "I can do it," suggested Nyssa suddenly making everyone turn to her. "What makes you think that?" asked Will. "Well, I am the smalles here. Should anything change in the plan or we have less time than we planned for, Percy can better prepare or even carry me while not being slowed down much," explained Nyssa. "She does have a point. Not only that she would be able to help Percy break the cuffs the fastest," agreed Sean. "You go back as soon as anything damgerous happens okay? If Annabeth says you're not going, you stay out of the huilding," instructed Percy looking at Nyssa. Nyssa nodded. "Alright, lets go," commented Nico wacing for the kids to go out following Will.
"You can't be serious. We could call in the bomb squad," argued Tony. "Just go and trust me. It'll be fine. Neither I nor Annabeth would ever risk a childs life if we were sure the odds are good for the childs survival," responded Percy. "She is still a child!" protested Bushop. "Nyssa came to us shortly before the first war we had. She was taught to survive and knows when the risk is too big. While she wasn't activily inculded she was there when it went down," clarified Percy sighing heavily. "How much would you trust them?" asked Gibbs. "With my life without any hesitation. There is nothing I wouldn't trust them with," answered Percy instantly. "I better see you outside," commented Gibbs nodding at Percy before basically pushing his agents out.
Percy wasn't sure how long it was before Nyssa came back. "Everyone is out and a safe distance away," announced Nyssa. Percy nodded and pulled himself up hooking his legs around the chain. "Now how do I break this," wondered Percy. Nyssa held up Riptide in pen from. "Annabeth found it on the mad doc," commented Nyssa jumping slightly to give riptide into the hands of Percy. Percy put Riptide in pen from between the link betwen his cuffs and the chain before he uncapped it. The next second Percy fell to thw ground as the timer started. Nyssa quickly helped Percy up and both ran as fast as they could out. The stairs were a bit longer than Percy expected so he pulled Nyssa along with him.
The two had just joined the rest outside a safe distance away from the building as the building shook and collapsed. Annabeth pulled Percy into a kiss relieved to have found her husband. Percy held her in a hug tightly before a few choughs made them pull away from eachother. "Really Thalia? Can't let us have a few moments can you?" asked Percy annoyed. "No, but that aside, we were able to find the bodies of the three that died. We thought it would be nice for their siblings to actually know that there is body and all," replied Thalia saddly while pointing to three bodies that were wrapped in white blankets. "Did you bring the blankets or found them?" asked Percy pained at the sight. "We didn't bring them, M'lady had gifted them so we can transport them properly," answered a hunteress. "I'll thank her for that as soon as we are back and have them buried porperly," commented Percy forcing himself to look away from the bodies of teenagers. "We called in. They are going to sent cars to get us and Ducky is coming to gather the bodies. I don't think he will mind helping you transport them to a give them a proper resting place," informed Gibbs. "Thanks, Agent Gibbs, that means a lot," commented Annabeth smiling softly. "They'll have questions for the kids too. You know the protocol. You should contact their parents," noted Gibbs nofding at Annabeth. That's when Percy fell over. Annabeth barely catching him.
Will came rushing to them looking shocked trying to find out why Percy just collapsed. "Oh gods," uttered Will. "What is it?" asked Annabeth alarmed. "This idiot ran with multiple broken bones! I am done with him! Why the fuck didn't he say his leg is fucking broken!" ranted Will throwing his hands up. "Why exactly is he down ?" asked Annabeth. "He basically knocked himself out because of the pain. Even he can't withstand the pain of multiple broken bones. His leg is broke, his ribs, and if I am right his left hip too. All lf those are extremely painful if broken and one keeps moving," replied Will angrily. "It's Percy. What did you expect? It's the sane guy that challenge Clarisse's father with 12. He kept going in fights even if half his body is broken," wondered Nico rolling his eyes. Will grumbled under his breath while he stabilized Percy broken bones.
Thalia and a few of the hunt helped Ducky and Jimmy put the three bodies into the back of the truck. The children were checked by paramedics while Percy was put into an ambulance. Gibbs went with a but surprised that Annabeth didn't choose to go with the ambulance.
Gibbs waited for Percy to wake up and was slowly joined by others of their team and Percy's friends. "Wakie wakie, bitch," commented Nico and slapped Percy much to the shock of the team. Percy groaned turning his head away. "Why did you slap him?" asked Tony shocked. "It was time for him to wake up," shrugged Nico. "Fuck you, Nico, seriously," grumbled Percy glaring at Nico. "Wanna know how bad you fucked up?" asked Annabeth smiling. Percy swallowed looking a bit anxious. "Look, I am sorry. I just wanted to get everyone out and I honest to Apollo didn't noticed that I had broken my bones," rushed Percy. "Are you scared of your wife?" asked Bishop shocked. "I know what's healthy for me and it can get scary when she is mad," replied Percy. "Thank you," commented Annabeth. "I won't see the outside world for a while will I?" asked Percy carefully. "You're on 6 weeks sick leave," answered Will shrigging. "Huh, that's less than I expected," muttered Percy.
