President Keaton, speaker Templeton, and Jim Gardner anxiously wait for news of the bust of the Aum Shinrikyo cell. President Allen said that one of the hardest parts of this job was waiting. When everything that could be done had been done, and there was nothing to do but sit back and wait for the result. Finally the call came, president Keaton picked up the phone. The look on his face said it all.

Keaton: They did it. Two Aum Shinrikyo cell members killed, three taken alive. They had enough explosives to do some real damage. So far they haven't named any co conspirators. I'm going to call the Japanese prime minister and thank him for his government's help. This country is still in danger of another attack but, this has saved a lot of lives.

Tony continues to drive. It becomes clear to him that his tail knows he has spotted them. Tony decides to pretend to lose them. Let these agents think they outsmarted him.

Kyle Singer makes an offer to Samira Noori.

Kyle: Thank you for your help.
Samira: If I can stop G'ulom and his evil, it is worth it.
Kyle: Things are going to get rough in Kabul, I can't guarantee who will win or your safety. If you want you can come to the embassy.
Samira: No. The Taliban wants dissenters to flee, but I will not. I will continue to try and make my country a little better, for however long I have left.

Templeton and Gardner leave the Oval Office as the president speaks with the prime minister of Japan. Both men are elated that some lives have been saved, but they fear it won't be enough. Rebecca Allen sees Templeton. She wonders, with her mother's temporary resignation Templeton is next in line to the presidency. Could he be in some way involved?

Split screens show Tony leading his tail, Gaines unaware he has been marked for death by his superiors, Kyle Singer returning to the embassy, president Keaton speaking with the prime minister of Japan.

Reverand Adam hears on the news about the Aum Shinrikyo cell being arrested. This might mean less casualties than anticipated, but it will still be enough.
