The man sees Jayden's crown, Man: my apologies, I did not know, I am sworn to protect the princess at all cost, kneels before them, since Bubbles and Boomer can see that he's simply doing his job and did not recognise the prince they do not have him punished. Agnes: I saw the prince in there with her, and she was indecent, I asked if he'd like to wait outside to allow her to change but, he insisted on remaining, your majisties. MEANWHILE IN THE KINGDOM OF SCHORN.
Lord Brick sits apon his throne, Brick: bring him in! A man from Nagi is brought in chains before him. Man: please my lord spare me! Brick nods, as a guard, drags him to the block and puts his head down Brick: do it! or you'll be next! The executioner raises his huge double bladed axe, and swiftly brings it down on the man's neck, severing his head, causing it to drop into a basket, blood spirting out from his neck, Brick: burn his body, Guard: and his head? Brick: send it back to my dear brother in Nagi, guard: yes my lord. Takes the head and puts it in a basket before giving it to Boomer and Bubbles' Royal messenger. Messenger: ya! Rides back to Nagi. A few days later Boomer and Bubbles are sitting on their throne, Jayden is on the throne in the middle. The princess is still asleep, and Bubbles has told Jayden not to bother her, and given the staff instructions to keep him out of her room, when she is asleep or indecent, as the royal messenger goes through the door huffing and breathing heavily. As he bows, Boomer: water! a servant brings the man some water, who accepts it, Messenger: thank you your majesty, Boomer: what message do you have from my brother?, Messenger: forgive me your magisties, but this might not be something for the prince's eyes, Boomer: I'm sure he'll be fine lad now what is it? Boomer pulls out the head of one of his most trusted advisors. Bubbles almost vomits, as a servant faints. Boomer: leave us! and send In the captain of the guard Everyone bows and courtesys, before picking up the unconscious maid and leaving the room, Boomer: Fuck!! Thankfull it isn't too far, as they ride for a few hours, and make camp for the night. After a week they arrive at the outskirts of SCHORN. Guard: riders approaching! Butch: look after him In the market and make sure he doesn't get hurt or into some kind of trouble, Davis: yes sir, Davis goes with Jayden, to the market, where he comes across a blacksmith. Stall, and sees a Roman gladiolus, Blacksmith: what can I do for you lad? Jayden can I see the gladiolus? Blacksmith: certainly unsheathes it and hands it to him Jayden is able to hold it easily, it says XVIX on the cross guard, Jayden: 15,009 Black Smith: you know your numerals Jayden: my aunt taught me, how much is it?, Black Smith: 700 gold, Jayden gives him the purse, and is given 300 back, Black smith: there is your scabbard cleaning kit and sling, anything else? Butch: I had captain Davis look after him, Boomer: go get him I'll see if I can teach him how to try and avoid war, butch leaves the room and sees Jayden, eating some bacon, and Davis having some ale, Davis: sir I apologize he purchased it before I could say anything! Butch sees the sword on Jayden's hip, and facepalms, Butch: your dad might be okay with it but your mother is gonna kill you, *chuckles* Butch: your father wants you, Jayden: okay follows his uncle. Into the hall, Boomer: ah Jayden, Jayden: I got a sword! Boomer: what? Butch: he used the money Brick gave him to buy a Roman sword from the market. Boomer: how much do you have left? Jayden: 300, Brick: let's see this sword of yours, Jayden draws it, and hands it to his uncle, Brick: fine steel, the black smith here knew of your arrival and gave him a discount, usually this would've been 1700 gold, I say you let him keep it, Boomer looks to Butch, Butch: it's up to you, Boomer kneels to his son's level, Boomer: you will be responsible, careful, you will not use it as a toy you will respect it. Boomer: I'm taking him to rest, Boomer takes him to the camp site since they're only there for a few days. And places him in the tent before kissing him, Boomer: sleep well my son takes his son's sword for safe keeping, Boomer goes back as three men accompanied by some of Bricks men, stand guard.
A few days later.
Boomer, Butch Jayden and the soldiers leave, Jayden of course is wearing his new sword, while riding with his father. Jayden: Dad why doesn't Uncle Brick join us? Boomer: he has to defend his land, I'm not sure how your mother is going to react to you having that, Jayden: she'll be surprised, Boomer: she certainly will be. As they make their journey back to Nagi.
