Endings Part 1 - 7.5/10
Here we are. The ending of the season and the conclusion for every single season of Power Rangers is what ultimately makes or breaks the season for me.
It wasn't a horrible ending. It wasn't anything unprecedented. Endings Part I & II we're just a good set of episodes for the conclusion to SPD.
Slightly above average if you will.
The first two minutes of Endings consisted of information what we already knew. The A Squad kidnapped Cruger.
*sigh* I hate recapitulation in a big time conclusion of the season.
Broodwing sends Grumm's minions to invade SPD headquarters.
Cruger finds his wife Insinia is still alive.
As much I appreciate how everything is well done in Endings?
This set of episodes are the perfect example of why I don't watch much of Power Rangers anymore.
Endings is basically a 2005 re-envision of Turbo's ending with Chase Into Space.
The Rangers have their base infiltrated by the bad guys. The Megazords are destroyed (well the S.W.A.T. flyers aren't) but you get my point.
Piggy turning his back on the Rangers was quite hammy in a sense as I hate the character and his guts.
But Endings Part I wasn't a bad ending to the season as the fight choreography is very well done.
I gotta feel sorry for the owners of the cars the Rangers destroyed here. Those poor cars didn't deserve the punishment they had with getting caught in the crossfire between the A-Squad and B-Squad.
To hell with trucks though. I hate Trucks.
...Why am I talking about this?
Oh. The B-Squad eventually take down The A-Squad and Broodwing. Piggy turns his back on the Rangers and are sent to capacity with Cruger on Grumm's base while SPD Headquarters remains in shambles.
DUN DUN DUN.
So yeah. Besides the feeling I can't help but get this is basically like how Turbo ended, it was a a really good turnout for the season.
Recommend you give it a chance to at least watch once.
