Hey everyone, I'm back again with yet another story for you all. Another season of Total Drama. This one is, as you've seen by the title, which may be subject to change, Total Drama Across the Multiverse! Originally, I planned on waiting to post the sign up list, but because of the large amount of characters I'm getting, I'd rather just have it here and update it when necessary and allow you guys to just post as many characters as you want here.
This season will have 64 contestants. 28 chosen by you guys, 28 chosen by me, with some being characters from the previous season. Unlike the previous season that I'm still currently doing, this will take place in more than just Camp Wawanakwa. It will be in the same format as the World Tour season but will be on an even larger scale. This season, in general is also going to take inspiration from each season of Total Drama as a whole in different ways.
Examples:
World Tour: Traveling to different parts of the world as mentioned before
Ridonculous Race: Duos, Trios, quartets and even the rare(but possible) quintet are allowed to enter the contest as one contestant slot.
All-Stars: Contestants from each season are allowed to enter, with the winner of each season getting a guaranteed entry.
Multiverse Edition(my season): Characters from around the multiverse, along with some challenges inspired by games, movies, etc. will be present along with returns of challenges from this season.
And so on and so fourth! I'd like to keep the rest a surprise!
The rules are simple:
Any character from fiction except pornographic, OCs, or real people are allowed. Adult characters are allowed like they were last season though.
You can suggest as many characters as you want. Originally I decided against making a sign up sheet, but considering the amount of characters I got on the other story, I thought it would make more sense to just make it now to let you all just suggest as many as you want. If you think of any more, feel free to add them!
Total Drama characters from any season are allowed. You can suggest the newest season too but I don't know if they'll get in as I haven't found a way to watch all of the episodes yet. Only seen clips. I know there's the K2 streaming but unfortunately I'm usually doing something else during the times the eps are on. If the new season is available before this story starts, then I'll for sure give it a watch before I start the season.
While you can suggest as many as you want, at the most I'd say only 3 slots per person will get in(maybe 4 if I really need a slot filled and I don't get enough characters, but I seriously doubt it'll go to 4).
If your character doesn't get in, there is a chance that they'll play a role, or better yet, run or host a challenge like my last season(e.g. Mr. Wolf from The Bad Guys requested by 1_true_beliver_3000 on AO3 in the hunting challenge last season). It's honestly working out pretty well, and it leads to some even more creative and fun possibilities for challenges and interactions. Even characters that I ultimately scrapped as a contestant because I couldn't think of anything for them to do got in as a guest. The person/people that requested the character(s) will still get a shout out if they are a guest.
Get creative! Don't be afraid to throw some characters out of left field at me! Some of my picks might be pretty obscure to you guys too lol.
If possible, tell me a little about your picks and why you want them in. You can also tell me the role(villain, hero, neutral, joke, fodder, etc.) and the motivations for why each character wants to enter. You don't have to but more info is definitely helpful in case it is a character I'm not familiar with. I'm willing to put in the effort to do whatever research is needed to make sure I get the character right the best I can if I'm not familiar with them but still interested enough in bringing them in.
Multiple characters are allowed to take up one contestant slot together(e.g. Shaggy and Scooby, and the Spies Clover, Alex and Sam last season) like Ridonculous Race and last season. However, if one gets eliminated, the others are eliminated as well.
And I believe that's about it when it comes to rules. Now, where are the other 8 slots going to make the 64? They're for the winners of each previous season of Total Drama! Something that I think All-Stars should have done. Owen not being in that season when it was supposed to be the best characters coming together to interact was one of the many things I didn't get when it came to that season tbh.

Along with that, here are some of my picks and you guys' picks that are guaranteed a spot starting with my picks and why they want to enter. I'm trying to shorten the bios because last season I felt they were too long. They were a pain to write, and they might have been a pain to read for you guys too, so I'm trying to avoid that again this season.

X & Zero, The Maverick Hunters(Mega Man X)
Why they want to enter: As suggested by X, he believes this will not only be great training, but spending prolonged time with humans is the perfect is the perfect way to improve the relationship between Reploids and people, especially since the two are Elite Maverick Hunters. While he isn't a fan of X's idea, Zero comes along simply to watch X's back and to support his friend and nothing more.
Urien, The Treacherous Disciple(Street Fighter)
Why he wants to enter: President of the Secret Society, he wants to use the money to fund further research in the G-Project, a project of human body remake theory. This theory also includes illegal genetic experiments, all for the purpose of creating super soldiers. Although his brother Gill doesn't know it yet, he wants to use the project to overthrow him as Emperor of the Secret Society and take his place.
Rally Vincent & May "Minnie May" Hopkins, The Gunsmith Cats(Gunsmith Cats)
Why they want to enter: Rally returns to the show strictly for the money, even if she did have to admit that she enjoyed some of the time she had on the island, even though she doesn't miss the food at all. One of her best friends May, the girl that loves explosives as much as Rally loves guns, wants to enter for the money and the potential fame that comes with being on reality TV as she is a great actor but never went Hollywood with her skills, using them instead on helping Rally navigate the Chicago underworld as Rally's a bounty hunter by night. But she also enters to help her friend in the competition. Plus, they can never worry about Becky Farrah, their other best friend, constantly bugging them about getting paid after every job for info in the underground world for a while as they can always use some of the money for that. For Becky, they may be friends, but friends have to pay up too. No friendship discounts or IOUs(in most cases anyway).
Noah(Total Drama), The High IQ Guy
Why he wants to enter again: Noah has done three things he'd never thought he'd do: Find someone that was just as intelligent and snarky as he is, fall in love with a girl, and get a girlfriend. As much as he doesn't want to be back on the dangerous show with Chris, that he knows will probably the most dangerous it has ever been now, he can't pass up on the opportunity for the money. Plus, he has faith that if he and Emma put their brains together, there's not many other contestants out there that are better than them.
Emma(Total Drama), The High IQ Gal
Why She wants to enter: Highly competitive, she believes she can win the competition after being so close in the Ridonculous Race, placing 4th overall of the teams with her sister Kitty. Although she's never experienced Total Drama as hosted by Chris, she has confidence she can get through with the help of her boyfriend Noah, who's had experience with Chris and his insane challenges and antics for several seasons. With the two on the same team and already in a relationship, there's nothing that's stopping her and Noah from winning the prize money now like it did in the race.
Bren(Monsuno), The Unathletic Tech Geek
Why he wants to enter: The least athletic, smallest, and smartest out of his friends group, AKA Team Core-Tech, he's the one that's usually picked on the most, even if it's all friendly. His work for the team also seems to always go unappreciated, simply because none of them look at tech the same way he does. Although declining to enter Multiverse Edition, he toughens up to enter to prove to Team Core-Tech, and even his actual family, that he's more than just some tech-nerd that just happens to have Monsuno battle with.
Toxsa Dalton(Tenkai Knights), The Green Gamer/Tenkai Strength
Why he wants to enter: Although he represents the powerhouse of the Tenkai Knights as Tenkai Strength with the green Valorn core, ironically, in the real world, he's the exact opposite. He loves video games and tinkering with tech when he's not helping at his family's diner and isn't considered to be athletic at all. In fact, his own friends are shocked whenever he's playing sports or working out. After seeing that Cameron won(even though he didn't watch that season) and Multiverse Edition with the VR challenge, he believes he's found a show just for him and wants to try and win the money for his family, and for video games too.
Mitchell "Monkey" McClurg, the nervous mechanic(Hot Wheels Acceleracers)
Why he entered: After all the time that he's been in the Racing Realms racing for Tezla, he's never gotten paid. Now's the chance for his payday. And he gets to be on reality TV! How cool is that? He's heard that the show is dangerous but he doesn't care. In his eyes, nothing can be more dangerous than killer robots and racing in other dimensions where you can get killed by the elements themselves in some cases.
Mildred "Blaineley" Stacey Andrews O'Halloran, the Celebrity Manhunt Host(Total Drama)
Why she entered: She absolutely wants no part of this dangerous show as she's much more comfortable stirring up drama and laughing from the sidelines at the action as it unfolds. But she enters for two reasons: If she wins, Chris will have to hand the money to her, something that he knows will hurt and he'll hate doing it as payback for kicking her off the show and being the cause of her injury at the time. The second reason is free promotion of her own show. If she can win with the multiverse watching, it'll massively increase her publicity and her own show.
Nathan Drake, the professional treasure hunter(Uncharted)
Why he entered: His exploring days long behind him, he enters the competition as a source of more money along with his and his wife Elena's usual archaeological expeditions via D&F Fortunes, the salvaging company that they own. He convinced his wife that in his words, "it would be fun, and nowhere close to being as dangerous as the adventures they've gone on before." Along with that, he finally added, "Besides, our daughter needs to know that her dad's still got it in him. Forget stories, she's gonna see the real thing."
Yuck, the Evil Woo Foo Warrior(Yin Yang Yo)
Why he chose to enter: Being the fusion of Woo Foo warriors in training Yin and Yang's worst personality traits combined, he has all of their unique abilities and powers along with some of his own. With this in mind, he thinks it's more than enough for him to enter and win this test of skill, something that neither could do as he discovered that Yang was in a challenge on the show.
Zak Saturday, the Confident Cryptid-Influencer(The Secret Saturdays)
Why he chose to enter: While it would be awesome to win, the fact that he's even able to do something he's always dreamed of doing, which was entering a reality show hosted by a (not as)crazy host is awesome enough for him. Plus, he gets to show his parents that he can travel and be on his best behavior(in most cases) by himself with no one to come with him.
Kick Buttowski, the Daredevil(Kick Buttowski)
Why he chose to enter: The money's great. But it's mostly for the danger. As someone that has watched Total Drama more for the challenges, he knew he couldn't pass the opportunity up to show his awesome skills to the world. Winning would be one more step to his dream: Becoming the greatest daredevil ever.
Lunella Lafayette/Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, the Brains and the Brawn(Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur)(A/N: That title might be able to be improved too, let me know if you have any suggestions)
Why they enter: Devil Dinosaur is a packaged deal with Moon Girl. If he couldn't enter, then she wouldn't. And due to the theme of the season, he was more than welcome to join the party. Casey suggested that the two enter to increase her publicity across the multiverse since she's an up and coming superhero.
Richie/Gear and Virgil/Static, Dakota's Finest(Static Shock)(A/N: May split these two up. Not sure yet)
Reasons for entering: They both want to save up for college and this is an easy way to pay it off and help out each of their parents by doing so. And maybe spend a bit on some music and games.
Kiff Chatterley & Barry Buns, the Adventurous Best Friends(Kiff)
Reasons for entering: An epic adventure set in who knows how many places? This was everything that a squirrel like Kiff could ask for. And Barry is right along with her for the ride. While winning would be cool, right now, they're going to just enjoy the adventure for as long as it can last.
And that's pretty much the template for how those are gonna go should I choose to continue writing the motivations out.

Rocky, the Happy-Go-Lucky Rumrunner(And Violinist) (Lackadaisy requested by 1602jaw)
Why he wants to enter: For the money and the sense of adventure. Rocky believes that his high skill is more than enough to be able to win the competition.
Miko Kubota & Hector Nieves, the Glitch Techs(Glitch Techs requested by 1602jaw, honorable mention 1_true_believer_3000 on AO3 who requested both characters last season)
Why they want to enter: Miko believes it'll be a fun competition for both to enter along with having a chance at the money. Although Hector isn't fond of entering because of how dangerous he's seen one of the challenges are as he's only watched two episodes, which was the 1,000 ft cliff jump episodes, Miko tells him that not every challenge in the game is like that one and was able to convince him to reluctantly go by telling him that he could give some of the money to his grandparents.
Blaze the Cat, the Stoic Princess(Sonic the Hedgehog requested by knight)
Why she entered: Marine entered her into the contest, insisting that it was a great way for her to not only meet new people, but for her to go on her own adventure. While Blaze was against it, she supposed she could do it, if only to make Marine happy more than anything else.
Kurt Wylde(Hot Wheels Acceleracers requested by UnchartedCoast2)
Why he entered: When he heard that Vert was in some sort of competition on reality TV, he at first ignored it but eventually decided to at least give it a glance. When he had heard of the potential amount of money during that season and now this one, he couldn't pass up this opportunity. His experience in the Grand Prix, the World Race and in the Racing Realms, along with his leadership of the World Race team Street Breed would be more than enough to get him to the finish line.
Din Djarin & Grogu, The Mandalorian & Baby Yoda(The Mandalorian) requested by EndeavorT
Why he enters: While quiet and reserved, the Mandalorian is a bounty hunter with an honor code. He enters the competition for the money as a bounty.
Octavia(Helluva Boss) (A/N: Stumped trying to find a title for her. If anyone can come up with one, you're welcome to leave it in a review)
Why she enters: To see the world, and to get away from her parents and their constant screaming at one another due to their tumultuous relationship. Even though she's become desensitized to it, it took a toll on her. Although winning the money would be nice too.
And that's it for now. Definitely trying to be a little more balanced when it comes to picks compared to last season. Remember, if your pick doesn't get in, they could still appear later as guests in challenges, etc. At this stage, contestant updates and auditions are all I can do right now. Until I finish the previous season to fill in that last winner spot, the season won't be able to start even if the other slots are decided.
